The Chiefs' young superstar is the undisputed king of the position this season, and it would take an act of God for anyone to catch him in the race for most fantasy points at the position. He's fully 40 (forty!) fantasy points ahead of Drew Brees for the top spot, and this match-up with Oakland should only extend his lead. The Raiders rank dead last in the NFL in terms of yards per attempt allowed, and now they are supposed to face the league's best passing attack? Best of luck, my dudes. The only issue with Mahomes, as always, is the price. There is a lot of value at other positions this week, so running Mahomes out there is a real possibility, and it will probably be the only time we recommend considering a QB at this price tag for the rest of the season. Jameis Winston FD 7500 DK 6000 Opponent CAR Proj Points FD - 22.3 DK - 22.3 Realistically, we'll probably end up going just a hair cheaper at quarterback this week. About 20% of the field took a chance on Jameis last week after he looked promising in taking over for Fitzpatrick in the Giants game, and he rewarded them with a 23 fantasy point performance on a very reasonable price tag. Winston is still a threat to take off on the ground, but real story of his 2018 campaign is his accuracy. His 67.8% completion rate is a full 4 points higher than his previous best, and he's improved his accuracy in every season since he came up. He seems to reliably be able to hook up with even his low efficiency receivers (like Evans), and the Bucs appear to have the tools to sustain this offensive production. The Panthers have been a slightly above average match-up for opposing quarterbacks this season, and the Bucs have a healthy 26.25 implied total in spite of being 3 points underdogs. I think we can confidently trot Winston out there once again....

Indianapolis Colts Quarterback - Andrew Luck Primary Target - T.Y. Hilton This week is a little different from the previous few as there are only two games with a Vegas Total greater than 50 and of those quarterbacks, only one stands out. Winston and Osweiler have been very inconsistent, and while Nick Mullens has the nut matchup this week he has such a small sample size. Andrew Luck, on the other hand, has everything going his way lately and checks off almost every single box. First of all, the Colts have the highest implied total(29) of any team and come in with a four-game win streak on the back of the Luck and the offense who have averaged 36.5 points per game in that stretch. Luck's success has gone back even further as he is on a historic run with seven straight games with three or more touchdowns and has tallied 22 or more fantasy points in each of those contests. He is even shaking the "declining arm strength" tag he was given early in the season as illustrated by his 68-yard bomb to Hilton last week over the top of Adoree' Jackson, one of the fastest corners in the game. The matchup on paper may not look the best as the Dolphins are only giving up 250 passing yards per game(19th) but considering Luck torched the #3 ranked passing defense in Jacksonville two weeks ago, I am not worried at all. I will once again be pairing Luck with Hilton as he has been the only consistent option in the passing game since his return. Baltimore Ravens Quarterback - Lamar Jackson Running Back - Gus Edwards The zone-read came into play last week for the Ravens who started Lamar Jackson in place of the injured Joe Flacco. The Ravens had a 54:19 run-pass ratio, and Jackson himself had 26 carries. The Ravens are 10.5 favorites over Oakland this week, and it's hard to believe that they will run less in a game that Vegas sees them winning easily. Jackson is basically a good running back who will pass 20 times a game as well, and this makes him an absurdly high floor cash game play from where I'm sitting. Oakland has been the very worst team in the NFL against opposing passers this season, and while the Ravens are passing more to keep opposing defenses honest than anything else, the Raiders are one of the least equipped defenses to punish a young quarterback. Ben Roethlisberger FD 7900 DK 6100 Opponent DEN Proj Points FD - 21.43 DK - 21.67 I had a tough time figuring out who I wanted to list in the QB2 slot today. I'll break down the other guys I considered in a second, but for now let's give the case for Big Ben. Roethlisberger has quietly settled in as a solid high floor QB option even as James Conner has shown us that teams are as responsible for big RB performances as the players themselves. We're coming off a week 11 game where the Steelers elected to simply pivot away from the run and into the teeth of one of the best cornerback duos in the league rather than continue to run Conner, and one has to think that Ben's floor is even higher than usual right now.
