Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 17

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 17 Well, it's the craziest week of the DFS season, ladies and gentlemen! Every single team in the NFL is playing on the main slate, and roughly 15 teams playing meaningful football this week, it's going to be tough to make heads or tails of exactly where we want to land. Week 17 is a unique beast in the world of daily fantasy sports. We can get unexpected value at the last minute, lose a full half of football from a star for seemingly no reason, and general randomness that can drive a sane man crazy. But this is why we play DFS, right? While those season long only cowards have nothing at stake, we'll be out here in the trenches getting paid for doing the work. Let's get on it. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL optimizer for FanDuel and DraftKings, our MLB Optimizer, and our NFL Player Lab! We've got you completely covered. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes FD 9500 DK 7100 Opponent OAK Proj Points FD - 26.98 DK - 28.42 It's always bittersweet writing up Mahomes, mostly because I went out of my way to go on a 6 minute diatribe about how he was very likely just another young quarterback with a good couple of games. Welp, it hasn't played out like that, exactly. Going into the final game of the season Mahomes has outscored the second highest scoring fantasy QB in the league by 72 points, or nearly five fantasy points per game. Good lord. The DFS sites often have a hard time figuring out how to price these outlier guys, and I get it. Any pricing/projection algorithm is going to want to look at a guy like Mahomes and say: "Outlier! No one can maintain this pace!" Except Mahomes has. And now he'll bring the league's best passing attack against arguably the league's worst passing defense, and inarguably one of the league's 5 worst passing defenses. Mahomes dumpstered them for 33 fantasy points in their last meeting, and now the Chiefs are in a game of the very highest stakes. While they are locked into the playoffs, everything from home field advantage throughout the playoffs to eking out a wildcard birth is in play here. They control their own destiny here, and it's very hard to imagine them taking the foot off the passing game gas, particularly given how...

Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16 – 12/23/18

Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16 - 12/23/18 Week 16 of the NFL season is here which means we only have a few more chances to reach the GPP promise land. This week we have a somewhat smaller main slate with two games on Saturday along with the regular Sunday night and Monday night primetime games. The other notable thing about this slate is that there is only one game with a Vegas Total of 50 or more along with multiple injuries and questionable players that can change our decision making when constructing lineups. Let's take a look at some of the top stacks for GPP formats and if you have any questions, be sure to jump into the DFSR member chatroom. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top stacks using the data from our Player Lab. Want to see the rest of this article? Go grab a free three day trial of DFSR Pro or DFSR Basic! Your subscription will include access to premium content, our lineup optimizer, our members only chatroom, and more! START YOUR FREE TRIAL - AND READ THE REST! Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback - Ben Roethlisberger Primary Target - Antonio Brown Secondary Target - Jaylen Samuels There is only one game with a Vegas Total greater than 50 making it a terrific place to start with the stacks article. Of the two quarterbacks in this matchup, I lean Big Ben for a couple reasons and it starts with volume as he leads all quarterbacks in 2018 with a whopping 580 attempts and trails only Patrick Mahomes in yards with 4,462 to go along with 30 touchdown passes(6th most). As you can see above in the stats section of the Player Lab, Big Ben is averaging 319 yards per game to Brees' 262 per game and is projected in the system for almost 10 more pass attempts this week with a positive game script as the Steelers are 6.5 point road dogs. I will be pairing Big Ben with his top receiver Antonio Brown who is somehow only the fourth most expensive wideout on the slate. He draws a tough matchup against Saints improved defense and on an individual level will see a ton of Marshon Lattimore but Brown is a top wideout in the league and with JuJu Smith-Schuster not at 100% will likely see 10-15 targets this week and is more than capable of putting up 100+ and multiple touchdowns in a potential shootout. Also, James Conner has been ruled out meaning the backfield is all Jaylen Samuels once again. He is coming off a monster week where he rushed 19 times for 142 yards. The Saints...

They discuss a number of big name wide receivers that look like interesting tournament options, like Davante Adams and Julio Jones. Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16

Posted by on Dec 20, 2018 in featured, News, Weekly Fantasy Football Picks | 0 comments

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 16 It's week 16 in the NFL! We're fresh off a week of some terrible quarterback play, a resounding number of duds among the cheap wide receivers, and a market that has us paying up significantly for running backs. With the season winding down, do we need to worry about players starting to rest up for the playoffs? Let's dive in and make sense of it. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL optimizer for FanDuel and DraftKings, our MLB Optimizer, and our NFL Player Lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NFL? Be sure to read our free MLB and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Quarterback Dak Prescott FD 7300 DK 5700 Opponent TB Proj Points FD - 19.75 DK - 20.33 Well, we're headed into one of the weirder weeks at quarterback this season. Last week saw perhaps the widest spread in cash game ownership of the season, and basically none of the highly owned options on the main slate performed. Ben and Brady were bad in their much anticipated match-up, Jameis was non-existent, Lamar Jackson was only okay, and Dak was bad. But we can't give up on every single quarterback and still play DFS, so here we are. The first word of encouragement I'd give you about playing Dak is that you don't want to go overboard worrying about small sample sizes. Yes, the Cowboys were horrid last week, but they are still holding on to their division lead by the skin of their teeth. Everything I wrote about Prescott last week still holds as well - he's on pace to finish with his highest completion percentage, passing yards, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns of his career. Before last week's debacle he had been very consistent in terms of fantasy production as well. The Colts are quietly a top 10 defense this season, and Tampa Bay's defense will be a nice change of pace. The Bucs are now a step ahead of historically bad, but they have still allowed the highest yards per attempt to opposing passers of any team this season. I'll be pretty surprised if Dak isn't the highest owned FanDuel QB this week. Nick Foles FD 6000 DK 4700 Opponent HOU Proj Points FD - 16.4 DK - 17.11 If people do buck the Dak train, I think Foles is actually a pretty interesting option, particularly on DraftKings. While we have been somewhat wary of back-up quarterbacks this season, Foles and his recent...
