Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 9000 DK 7900 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 24.27 DK - 24.76 After throwing for touchdowns on what seemed like every pass to start the season, Wilson has slowed down considerably over the last few games. In his last five, he has only six total touchdowns and five interceptions. The Seahawks are 2-3 in that stretch. But this is a bounce back opportunity against the Jets who’ve been destroyed through the air this year. They rank dead last against the pass and allow the second-most yards per pass attempt. They’ve allowed more than 25 DraftKings points to QBs in four of the last five weeks. This is a smash spot for Wilson who remains expensive but is still a cash game play this week. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 6600 Opponent PHIProj Points FD - 21.83 DK - 22.5 It looks like Drew Brees is still anoter week from returning meaning Taysom Hill will spend another game under center. Hill is QB6 in FanDuel over the last three weeks and that includes a game against Denver in which the Saints took their foot completely off the gas in the second half. In the last three weeks, he’s averaged 11 carries and 59 yards on the ground, scoring four touchdowns along the way. And he’s been efficient through the air when asked to put the ball up, completing 68% of his passes, finally getting his first throwing touchdown last week. The Eagles defense ranks 15th on the season, but are much worse against the pass at 24th in DVOA. This is still a fine time to grab Hill who has such a high floor because of the rushing ability. Jalen Hurts FD 6600 DK 5100 Opponent NOProj Points FD - 15.69 DK - 16.63 Let’s do this thing, shall we? Hurts will take over for Carson Wentz a week after it was speculated he’d take the reins for Philly. But after Wentz struggled once again, Hurts came in against the Packers and Doug Pederson waited only a day to name him the starter for Week 14. Hurts was inefficient, going 5-12 but did throw for 109 yards and a touchdown. He added, almost more importantly, 29 yards on the ground on five carries. It’s the rushing ability at this price point on DraftKings...

START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 9000 DK 7700 Opponent NYG Proj Points FD - 25.6 DK - 26.11 This will be yet another week in which we will be spending up at quarterback. It’s been that way most of the season and Week 13 is no different. Wilson is QB3 on the season behind only Mahomes and Murray thanks to his obvious skill and Seattle’s insistence on keeping other teams in the game. This week he gets a cake matchup against the Giants who rank 20th overall on defense and 25th against the pass. This is a smash spot for the Seahawks who come in as big, -10, favorites. The only concern here with Russ is Seattle gets going early, can keep a Colt McCoy-led offense in check and just grind it out on the ground. But he still has such a high floor it’s tough to imagine him sinking you either. Justin Herbert FD 7900 DK 6900 Opponent NE Proj Points FD - 23.06 DK - 24.24 Herbert’s 26.1 DraftKings points per game rank him fourth in the league in one of the truly surprising seasons we’ve seen from a rookie in quite some time. The price has come up requisitely but he’s still a guy to target this week. The Patriots defense is one of the worst in the league ranking 31st and 30th against the pass. Herbert has 40 or more passing attempts in six of his last seven games thanks to the Chargers often playing from behind. And he’s got another weapon back with Austin Ekeler fully off the IR. The issue with Herbert isn’t the defensive matchup but rather New England’s pace. Because they just grind the clock out on the ground, they allow (by far) the fewest opponent plays per game. But like Wilson the floor is high enough for Herbert here. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 20.69 DK - 21.34 Hill runs back a matchup from two weeks ago when he debuted as the Saints’ signal caller with Drew Brees hitting the IR. Things started slow, but it didn’t take long for him to start racking up points. He ended up as one of the plays of the day throwing for 233 yards but more importantly, putting in 49 yards on the ground...

Head on over and check out what they have to offer. Tennessee Titans Opponent CLETitans -6 This line started at -4.5 (which we got in early on) and then climbed to -6 in the span of about 36 hours. It isn’t enough. The way things are trending, you’ll likely be able to get it at -5.5 when you read this. That works too obviously. The thing here is the Browns are the biggest smoke and mirrors team in the NFL. They are 8-3 with a negative point differential. Read that again: They are 8-3 and have been outscored by 21 points this season. The reason for this is they have played the second-easiest schedule in the league. They have one win against a team with a record of better than .500 (the Colts). When they’ve played actual *good* teams, like the Ravens and Steelers, they’ve been smoked. They rank 19th in defense, non-schedule adjusted which is a travesty considering their offensive opponents have ranked their D as the second-easiest schedule. Should I keep going here? Sure, Tennessee’s defense is no great shakes, but the offense ranks 3rd overall. The Browns are average or below on both sides of the ball. Absolutely love the Titans here not giving enough because the opponent has a mirage of a record. San Francisco 49ers Opponent BUF49ers +2.5 The 49ers have played most of the season without their original starting quarterback and have had basically every running back get hurt at some point. They’ve had injuries on the defensive end as well with guys like Richard Sherman just coming off the IR last week. And yet, in spite of bad runs all around on the injury front and a 5-6 record on the season, they still have a positive (+7) point differential. That’s because the coaching is among (or just is) the best in the league. This week is a little weird with the 49ers having to move out of California and into Arizona because of COVID-related regulations. After three-straight tough games against the Seahawks, Packers, and Saints they pulled out a win over the Rams in Week 12. San Fran has the 9th-ranked defensive DVOA on the season and have held opponents to 20 or fewer points in eight of their 11 games this season. Meanwhile, the Bills has merely a +17 point differential despite playing the 19th most difficult schedule (SF is 6th...

Quarterbacks Kyler Murray FD 9100 DK 8200 Opponent NEProj Points FD - 25.11 DK - 25.93 Murray suffered an AC joint injury in the Seattle game, but after being checked out he returned to action and the Cardinals are assuming he'll play in this one against the floundering Pats. Deshaun Watson just embarrassed this Patriots defense in week 11, paying him price before halftime. Given that Murray is currently a rich man's version of Watson, he should be able to cook here. It's the best fantasy player of the year against the league's worst defense per DVOA - what more could we realistically ask for here? Josh Allen FD 8600 DK 7600 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 23.06 DK - 23.88 Not that anyone is really sleeping on Allen at this point, but it's certainly worth bringing him up for cash consideration given that he's significantly cheaper than Murray on both sites. Allen hasn't scored as many fantasy points per game as Murray this year, but Vegas totals suggest that the Bills are favored to score the most points of any team this week. It makes sense - the Chargers combine a mediocre defense with a fast-paced offense, letting other teams score the 8th most points per game this season. I could certainly see running Allen out there in a week where every dollar matters thanks to a relative lack of punt plays. Also considered: Taysom Hill! He was actually very efficient through the air, and his typical ground excellence saw him punching in two rushing touchdowns. Running Backs Kalen Ballage FD 5500 DK 5800 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 14.73 DK - 16.59 Ballage was the highest owned running back in week 11, and while his final stat line doesn't jump off the page, the floor is looking pretty darn excellent at this point. He got 25 opportunities in the competent Chargers offense, including 7 receptions. Now, playing him this week depends on the status of Austin Ekeler, who has been activated off the IR and has been practicing in a limited fashion. If Ballage happens to be the RB1 again, he'll ply his trade against Buffalo, who has quietly been a bottom 10 team in terms of DVOA against the run this season. The Chargers have a solid 24 point total this week, and...

START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Deshaun Watson FD 8700 DK 7400 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 22.23 DK - 22.96 Watson is right back to being the fantasy-QB1 type we were used to last season. Since Bill O’Brien was fired after Week 4, Watson has been the fourth-highest fantasy scoring quarterback behind only Kyler Murray, Justin Herbert, and Patrick Mahomes. That’s rarified air, and he’s coming off his best week yet with 344 yards and two touchdowns through the air and another 36 yards and a touch on the ground against the Patriots. The Lions are the 25th-ranked defense on the season allowing opponents to do damage on both the ground and through the air. Watson is far and away the cash game quarterback on this slate and I suspect he’s chalk on both sites. Alex Smith FD 6700 DK 5400 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 18.91 DK - 19.92 Since taking over for Kyle Allen 2.5 weeks ago Smith has returned to his previous efficient self, completing 71% of his passes. The touchdowns haven’t exactly followed with only two over the last three weeks as compared to four interceptions. But those picks are a little lumpy with three of them coming in the game against the Giants when he came in for Allen. The yards aren’t going to accumulate in big ways because he’s still reliant on under throws and doesn’t stretch the field all that much. But he’s facing the 20th-ranked defense this week and a team in the Cowboys who rank 21st in opponent plays per game. This is a pace-up matchup for the Redskins and Smith isn’t cost prohibitive. Also consider Lamar Jackson whose price has continued to drop this season. With the running backs banged up and Baltimore in a precarious playoff position, it stands to reason we see Jackson get out in the run game more this week. The problem is the matchup against the Steelers who own the best defense in football through 11 weeks. Running Backs Ezekiel Elliott FD 8500 DK 6800 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 15.8 DK - 17.14 The Cowboys actually looked like a functional offense on Sunday, stealing a somewhat surprising win over the Vikings. Will it carry over? They face a Washington defense that’s been surprisingly good this season, ranking 7th in DVOA though is significantly...

James and Doug are back to take an early look at cash games in week 11 on FanDuel and DraftKings. Quarterback has a few options that we haven't considered much this season in Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson. Herbert has had a surprisingly high floor this season, and has a great match-up with the terrible New York Jets. Jackson hasn't been the guy he was last season, but the upside is still there with him getting 10+ carries a game. The guys discuss the pros and cons of each. Running back presents a bevy of cheap options, and the difficulty this week is picking between them. DFSR feels like Ballage and McKissic are the best options, but people will certainly dabble with Harris, Ahmed, and even Duke Johnson. If you run two cheap guys, you're going to have room for a top tier play, and it will be tough to choose between McCaffrey and Cook. Wide receiver is actually fairly tough this week. Davante Adams is a great play (as usual), but can you afford him alongside McCaffrey or Cook? Thankfully there are some good cheap options, with each of the Steelers wide receivers looking good, Brandin Cooks in a bounceback, and others. Tight end is a disaster as always, and DFSR is leaning toward Hayden Hurst as a high floor way to get away from a bad position cheaply. Love the DFSR podcast?
