Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 8100 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 28.51 DK - 29.32 The Bills are in the playoffs, but they haven’t locked up their seeding quite yet. It’s not 100% clear how motivated they are to win here, but I suspect there’s at least a semblance of eagerness to take the AFC East which they would do with a win. They own the tiebreaker over New England in that respect. Allen is the top-scoring fantasy quarterback on DraftKings this season by about a game’s worth of production over Josh Herbert. Getting him against the league’s worst defense in the Jets makes for a very high floor play considering the Bills should be wanting to win this one going away. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 6200 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 23.6 DK - 24.54 The Saints can make the playoffs but will need the Los Angeles Rams to beat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The games are going down at the same time, so there isn’t likely to be a ton of scoreboard watching early. Hill isn’t all that efficient a passer, but he’s a fine fantasy play especially at his DraftKings price considering what he can do on the ground. He’s rushed the ball 11 or more times in each of his last four starts, averaging about 63 yards per game on the ground. He’ll face an Atlanta team ranked 30th in DVOA against the run this season. Considering how much the Saints need this game and the floor Hill provides, I think he’s clearly a DK play. Running Backs Jonathan Taylor FD 10200 DK 9300 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 25.26 DK - 26.81 The Colts have not secured a playoff spot yet, though they do control their own destiny there. If they win, they are in and that’s a great spot for us when it comes to Taylor. Having the team motivated to lead on their star back makes him a safer option this week when there is a lot of uncertainty. Taylor’s season has been nothing short of amazing, and he leads the league in nearly every relevant running back category. He has 529 more rushing yards than the next-closest back and his 18 touchdowns are easily the tops there as well. Oh, and now he faces...

Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 8000 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 27.05 DK - 27.81 The Bills are still fighting for both a playoff berth and the AFC East. Even though they are -14.5 home favorites against Atlanta, this is very much a must-win game for Buffalo. And in terms of fantasy scoring, almost no one has done it better than Allen this season. He ranks behind only Cooper Kupp in DraftKings points on the year and is top amongst quarterbacks. The Falcons are the second-worst defense in the league this season, giving Allen a pristine matchup. And they also allow the 7th-most opponent plays per game as well. In terms of floor, this is the best play QB play on the slate. I think he will be a popular play here and for good reason. I actually think that in terms of safety, there is a big drop-off after Josh Allen here. As of this writing, he’d be who I ran in cash on both sites. That being said… Tom Brady FD 8300 DK 7600 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 24.17 DK - 25.07 I don’t like to offer up non-running quarterbacks in cash all often unless they are going super cheap, but that’s just not the case with Brady. There is a narrative piece here that I do think could come into play for Tampa Tom. He is currently listed as second in MVP odds behind Aaron Rodgers and I do think, in this case, it kind of matters for Brady to continue piling on the stats. He’s had a couple of down games, but he leads the league in passing yards and touchdowns. At 12-3, Rodgers and the Packers are favorites, but Brady could make a case over the last two weeks if they want to run up the score and pass a ton. I’m not usually narrative guy, but in this case, I think I can see a path to a big game. Running Backs Warning: There are tons of solid/ great running back options this week. I think there are 6-7 ways you can conceivably go in cash. Jonathan Taylor FD 10000 DK 9000 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 25.92 DK - 27.52 Sure, the price is through the roof but it’s for good reason. Taylor is having a truly...

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Jalen Hurts FD 7700 DK 6400 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 22.63 DK - 23.33 The Eagles are facing off against the Giants this week and there is a lot to like about Jalen Hurts in this matchup. For starters, grabbing one of the better running quarterbacks in the game is always solid for keeping the fantasy-scoring floor very high. His 733 rushing yards on the season ranks him only behind Lamar Jackson at the quarterback position. Sure, the 14:9 TD:INT rate isn’t amazing, but that isn’t why you are rostering Hurts here. He has 10 rushing touchdowns on the season which is tied for fourth, overall, in the league behind only Jonathan Taylor, James Conner, and Joe Mixon. The Giants are terrible against the run though it’s worth noting that they were able to stymie Hurts some just a couple of weeks ago, forcing three interceptions. No matter, I think going back to the well is fine here in cash. Justin Herbert FD 8400 DK 7200 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 24.79 DK - 25.47 I think we can go up to a more expensive price point at the quarterback position on the main slate because of the savings we are going to get at running back. Herbert is having a near-identical season to his breakout rookie campaign and has thrown 32 touchdowns on a 66% completion percentage. A solid game would put him right at the same yardage last season. He faces off against a Houston team that does rank better against the pass than the run, but I still don’t think we are all that worried about it in this scenario. I do prefer Hurts for just a little cheaper but Herbert makes a strong play here. Running Back Ronald Jones II FD 5400 DK 5100 Opponent CARProj Points FD - 14.08 DK - 15.22 Jones is likely to be a chalk play this week with the news that Leonard Fournette had gone on IR. Last week, after Lenny went down, Jones played 22 snaps and touched the ball on 10 of them with eight carries and two targets. I do think that unlike Fournette, he will cede some of the passing downs to Ke'Shawn Vaughn, but in general, Jones should start the game out as the Bucs’ lead back. Tampa Bay...

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Kyler Murray FD 8800 DK 7900 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 24.15 DK - 24.88 It’s been a really good sign for Murray’s return to full health that he’s gotten out and run over the last couple of weeks, totally 17 attempts on the ground and piling up 120 yards and two touchdowns. It gives him such a high fantasy floor, something that only a few quarterbacks in the game have. I think we can pretty confidently roster him in cash this week against the Lions who ranks 31st in defensive DVOA and are equally terrible against both the pass and the run. Murray should be able to pile on the points here with the Cardinals still fighting for a first-round bye in the playoffs. Though he will be without DeAndre Hopkins in the receiving corps, the Cardinals still have plenty of weapons. Dak Prescott FD 7500 DK 6500 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 21.15 DK - 21.94 The Cowboys face the Giants this week who rank 18th in overall DVOA this season, though it’s worth noting that they are better against the pass than the run. Dak hasn’t run as much as we would like this season, though did get out there seven times last week. But the pass attempts are up over the short-term, averaging more than 40 over the last four games. That’s a good sign even if the yards and touchdowns haven’t exactly followed. The price is in a tier lower than the stud quarterbacks for a reason. Dak’s performance just hasn’t warranted an increase. But I think this is the perfect time to buy relatively low considering the matchup. If Lamar Jackson were to sit out, I think Tyler Huntley makes for an interesting and cheap option.  Running Back Sony Michel FD 6800 DK 5800 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 14.24 DK - 15.35 The Rams have been rocked by Covid this week and as of this writing had placed 25 players into the protocols. But it looks like Sony Michel will be able to suit up and should have an every-down role for LA. It doesn’t appear that Darrell Henderson is going to be able to clear protocols to play in this one. Last week, in a similar situation, Michel played 100% of the Rams’ snaps and carried the ball...

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Patrick Mahomes FD 8500 DK 8000 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 26.35 DK - 26.96 After stumbling some to start the season, the Chiefs have turned things around of late, winning their last five in a row against a more difficult part of their schedule overall. Mahomes has been up and down from a fantasy perspective, throwing for fewer than 300 yards in all but one of the last six games, with no touchdowns in the last two. The price hasn’t dipped as much as we would like on the back of these weaker performances, but I also don’t think we need to read all that much into them either. This is a decent enough matchup against the Raiders who are about league average against the pass (worse against the run). Fire up Mahomes here with the idea that the touchdowns come back around. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 5600 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 22.59 DK - 23.27 We are in an interesting spot with Hill here. On the one hand, there’s his hand. He’s dealing with a finger injury that’s definitely affecting his ability to throw. So on that front, not good. On the other hand, he’s coming so, so cheap on DraftKings and has shown the ability to make up for a lot on the ground in the run game. Last week, he ran 11 times for 101 yards. Sure, he completed less than 50% of his passes, but also managed a couple of TDs through the air. On DK, in the mid-$5K range I think you just have to play him against the Jets and hope he racks up a ton of yards with his legs. Running Back Javonte Williams FD 6700 DK 5900 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 20.56 DK - 22.24 With Melvin Gordon out of the lineup, it was all Javonte Williams for the Broncos. Sure, they lost to the Chiefs, but for our purposes, we don’t care all that much about the outcome. Williams played 78% of the snaps, and got 32 total looks with 23 carries and nine targets. That’s elite (elite!) usage and this week gets a much better matchup. Denver is -8 home favorites against the 29th defense in the league in the Lions. This is a smash spot again for Williams if Gordon...

Quarterback Jalen Hurts FD 8000 DK 7000 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 23.83 DK - 24.63 I get that he was a trash pile last week, but the same can be said of a number of different play-callers. Hurts didn’t get into the endzone through the air or on the ground. But this week, Hurts gets the gift of facing the Jets, the league’s worst defense overall in terms of DVOA. And they are equal opportunity bad, 30th against the pass and 31st against the run. From this perspective, there shouldn’t be much in the way of resistance when it comes to Hurts piling up points. I get that he’s been inefficient through the air, especially over the last couple of weeks, and that’s a problem especially with the passing touchdowns. But the good news is that Hurts has 55 or more rushing yards in each of the last six weeks. That makes up for a decent amount of the passing problems and I think on that end, this will be his easiest matchup in a while. Derek Carr FD 7500 DK 6000 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 20.72 DK - 21.44 If you are looking to save a little on DraftKings on this slate then Carr might be the way to go. Washington is a bottle defense, ranking 30th in DVOA against the pass, but 7th against the run. Carr is coming cheaper on DK all things considered though some of that is, for sure, on the performance. He’s got less than a 2:1 TD: INT rate on the season (17:9) even with the completion percentage still sitting around 67%. Being down Waller doesn’t help, but he should face little resistance from the Washington secondary. I think he’s a fine option for cash. Going the other way, I think Taylor Heinecke could be a solid DraftKings play in this matchup. Running Back There are a lot of viable running backs this week. In some ways, I almost wish we could play six RBs instead of some of the WRs out there. Let’s wade through some of the early value on this slate at the position. Elijah Mitchell FD 7600 DK 6000 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 19.07 DK - 20.77 He came back last game with some question marks about how he’d be able to...
