Quarterbacks Joe Burrow FD 7900 DK 6600 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 21.19 DK - 22.03 The Bengals threw the ball a whopping 53 times in Week 1 against the Steelers though they only put up 20 points on the day. It was an inefficient game for Burrow though he did manage to end up well over 300 yards passing. In this game, they are going against a beat-up Cowboys team who will give the QB trouble, but ultimately are probably a dead team walking without Dak. I like Burrow’s price on both sites and can see Cincy wanting to get going in this game early and often. Plus, I have some concerns about other QBs in this top tier. Trey Lance FD 7500 DK 5700 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 19.75 DK - 20.57 It was a less than inspiring first game of the season for Trey Lance who went into Chicago and lost to a game the 49ers were favored to win. There were some extenuating circumstances though, namely that the conditions were terrible. While I don’t know if Lance is the answer at real-life quarterback, I do like him from a fantasy perspective this week, especially on DraftKings. For starters, he ran the ball 13 times against the Bears, and even if that number is in the 7-9 range “normally” the floor will be high enough to sustain him in this price tier. And on a week where we have lots of spend-ups at other positions, getting the DraftKings savings on Lance is pretty important. Running Backs Joe Mixon FD 8300 DK 7200 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 17.18 DK - 19.06 From a running back sweet spot perspective, where we usually want to be is at home as big favorites with a back who sees workhorse usage. Check, check, and check for Mixon. He played 73% of the snaps in Week 1, carrying the ball 27 times while getting nine targets. That’s just crazy opportunity. Now, the Bengals aren’t going to run as many plays in this game so the role will reduce some, but they are still big favorites against the Cowboys and I want to have exposure to this offense for sure. Darrell Henderson Jr. FD 6200 DK 5700 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 14.26 DK - 15.71 In something...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1 – Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1 - Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 8000 DK 6800 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 23.92 DK - 24.78 The Eagles have the 4th-highest implied total on this main slate of games and the offense should be a pretty high-powered one this season. Hurts is coming in as a high-floor option seeing as how he now has an improved group of receiving weapons with the addition of AJ Brown and can take off running at any moment. Last season, Hurts was first among quarterbacks in rushing yards, putting up 784 yards on the ground in his 15 starts. The 61% completion percentage leaves some to be desired, but that should improve some this season. In terms of price, Hurts is coming as QB6 and QB5 on DraftKings and FanDuel respectively, putting him in a great place as a value play. Lamar Jackson FD 8500 DK 7300 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 24.79 DK - 25.66 In terms of just pure safety on a week-to-week basis, it’s hard to beat Lamar Jackson over the last few years. Because he isn’t reliant on touchdown variance, and runs as much as really any quarterback ever has, the floor is just so high time in and time out. He didn’t have the same passing success as 2020, but the returns were still excellent when he could stay on the field last season. He was QB6 in DraftKings points per game and one has to think the 16:13 TD:INT rate is something of a blip even if he isn’t the most prolific passer. Running Backs It sure looks like we are going to be rostering one or maybe even two expensive running backs on this slate. There will be some value at WR to offset some of the pricing. Jonathan Taylor FD 10200 DK 9100 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 21.4 DK - 22.77 You are paying through the nose, but it’s hard to find someone safer at the running back position. The Colts, with Matt Ryan no under center, are -8.5 road favorites against the Texans and it stands to reason they will lean on Taylor early and often. He was RB1 in fantasy last season despite not seeing a monster workload early in the year. But when he started taking all of the snaps, all of the points followed and he had...

Daily Fantasy Football Game by Game Breakdowns for FanDuel and DraftKings Conference Championships – Sunday 1/30/2022

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings NFL Conference Championship 1/30/22 Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Cincinnati Bengals (7.5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-7.5) Patrick Mahomes FD 8800 DK 7400 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 23.66 DK - 24.17 Mahomes is the clear cash play for this short slate. He’s been nearly perfect through the first two rounds, putting up a combined 782 yards through the air with a 76% completion percentage. Plus there are the eight touchdowns to one interception and it all just lines up to run him out there again this week. The Chiefs have the highest implied total on Sunday (not a surprise) at 31 and we know they default to wanting to throw the ball early and often. He makes for a very tough fade in this game on just the two-game slate. Tyreek Hill FD 8100 DK 7000 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 18.82 DK - 22.86 It would seem the clear pay-ups are going to come from this game considering the total is just so high. After struggling a bit over the final three weeks of the season and the first week of the playoffs, Hill put up a monster in the Divisional Round against the Bills. He finished with an 11/150/1 line on 13 targets and had one of the true highlights of the day on his 64-yard catch and sprint touchdown in the final minute of regulation. I think we run him again here without hesitation against a Bengals’ defense ranked 24th against the pass this season. The Chiefs running back situation is a tough one this week. Jerick McKinnon out-snapped Clyde Edwards-Helaire 70%-30% in the Divisional round, though CEH was much more efficient. McKinnon has been getting more looks, especially in the passing game so I’m tempted to say he’s a fine play here. But KC is also getting Darrel Williams back here which could muck things up. Additionally, Travis Kelce is getting pretty expensive and there are actually other decent tight end options going on Sunday. I’m close to saying he’s a fade in cash because of the other guys, but that’s always a dicey proposition. Byron Pringle saw the third-most targets on the team (7) last week which is something to keep an eye on considering his price point. Joe Burrow FD 7500 DK 6600 Opponent KCProj Points FD - 19.36 DK - 19.91 There’s some case to be made for...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Divisional Round Saturday – Sunday Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Divisional Round Saturday - Sunday Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 7600 Opponent KCProj Points FD - 23.38 DK - 24.02 Josh Allen is coming off one of the most impressive playoff performances you will ever see. In a complete dismantling of the Patriots in the Wild Card round, Allen through for 308 yards and five touchdowns on only 25 total attempts. He also put up 66 rushing yards for good measure and the Bills won 47-17. Now he’ll take things to Kansas City in what should be a high-scoring game between these two teams. Considering how Allen has scored his points all year, he’s a pretty tough fade in this scenario. There is just almost no way he’s not putting up enough points to hit value in this one again the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes FD 8500 DK 7300 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 21.68 DK - 22.16 These two are facing each other and are pretty far ahead of the rest of the field when it comes to fantasy scoring. It looks like even at the top of the price scale, you are playing one or the other in cash. Mahomes is coming off a peak game of his own last week, going for 404 yards and five touchdowns in the easy win over the Steelers. Sure, he had to throw a bit more because of Kansas City falling down early, but it only just added up to more points. This game could be a shootout with both teams likely to keep their collective feet on the gas the whole time. Running Back Jerick McKinnon FD 6000 DK 4800 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 12.47 DK - 13.97 This is a close one here. On the one hand, he looked as good as any Kansas City Chief running back has looked this season last week against the Steelers. Frankly, he looked like the guy the 49ers signed to a big contract a couple of years ago. On the other hand, if Clyde Edwards-Helaire is back full then all of a sudden the Chiefs have kind of a crowded backfield and things could get weird in terms of reps. Because of the price, I’m tempted to just role with McKinnon here and hope KC is playing the hit hand. But he’s not as close as a lock as you...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wild Card Weekend – Sunday Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wild Card Weekend - Sunday Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Patrick Mahomes FD 8700 DK 7400 Opponent PITProj Points FD - 24.7 DK - 25.26 Mahomes is projected significantly higher than any other quarterback on this slate, and it’s for good reason. After struggling a bit to start the season, especially in the interception department, that was all turned around late and he finished the season strong. Over the last five weeks, Mahomes threw 12 touchdowns to just one pick, completing more than 70% of his passes in the process. The Steelers have been a good defense against the pass this season, but the Chiefs are heavy favorites at home here and Mahomes clearly has the highest floor of this group. Dak Prescott FD 8000 DK 6400 Opponent SFProj Points FD - 17.64 DK - 18.29 We have Mahomes projected for significantly more than any other quarterback on this Sunday slate, so getting away from him in cash games isn’t a direction I’m going. But if that were the case, I think we can pivot to Dak Prescott who is coming $700 less on both sites. The Cowboys have the second-highest implied total on the slate at home against the 49ers. And Dad has been accurate of late, completing passes at more than a 70% clip over his last four games. He’s also got out and run a bit more in that stretch as well. Again, I much prefer Mahomes here, but lineups might be just a bit easier to build with Dak under center. Running Back Leonard Fournette FD 7300 DK 5900 Opponent PHIProj Points FD - 18.32 DK - 20.88 Fournette is fully healthy now and looks like he will take back over lead-back duties for the Buccaneers. In his last full week before the injury, Fournette played 80% of the snaps and touched the ball 26 times (19 carries, seven targets). He should get right back into a similar role against the Eagles and Tampa Bay is a -6.5 home favorite in this one. The price is palatable on Fournette here and I suspect he’s a popular play considering the circumstances. Elijah Mitchell FD 7400 DK 5500 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 15.7 DK - 16.25 This is a trickier slate when it comes to running back with a lot of the situations tough to trust. We do know that...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 18 – Main Slate

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 8100 Opponent NYJProj Points FD - 28.51 DK - 29.32 The Bills are in the playoffs, but they haven’t locked up their seeding quite yet. It’s not 100% clear how motivated they are to win here, but I suspect there’s at least a semblance of eagerness to take the AFC East which they would do with a win. They own the tiebreaker over New England in that respect. Allen is the top-scoring fantasy quarterback on DraftKings this season by about a game’s worth of production over Josh Herbert. Getting him against the league’s worst defense in the Jets makes for a very high floor play considering the Bills should be wanting to win this one going away. Taysom Hill FD 7700 DK 6200 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 23.6 DK - 24.54 The Saints can make the playoffs but will need the Los Angeles Rams to beat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The games are going down at the same time, so there isn’t likely to be a ton of scoreboard watching early. Hill isn’t all that efficient a passer, but he’s a fine fantasy play especially at his DraftKings price considering what he can do on the ground. He’s rushed the ball 11 or more times in each of his last four starts, averaging about 63 yards per game on the ground. He’ll face an Atlanta team ranked 30th in DVOA against the run this season. Considering how much the Saints need this game and the floor Hill provides, I think he’s clearly a DK play. Running Backs Jonathan Taylor FD 10200 DK 9300 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 25.26 DK - 26.81 The Colts have not secured a playoff spot yet, though they do control their own destiny there. If they win, they are in and that’s a great spot for us when it comes to Taylor. Having the team motivated to lead on their star back makes him a safer option this week when there is a lot of uncertainty. Taylor’s season has been nothing short of amazing, and he leads the league in nearly every relevant running back category. He has 529 more rushing yards than the next-closest back and his 18 touchdowns are easily the tops there as well. Oh, and now he faces...
