We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 1 DraftKings and 2 FanDuel lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 69% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 60% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Baker Mayfield Like the early slate there are a few ways to go at quarterback and most of them involve dropping some serious coin. I think the start percentages will be fairly split among the top flight QB’s, but I like Mayfield for cash games more than the others. Much of this pick is based on an Oklahoma stack and when utilizing Mayfield, Mixon, and Perine you stand to capture just about everything Oklahoma does. If that holds up, and I think it will, that’s not a bad way to lock up a good chunk of salary with solid ROI. Oklahoma is projected for 35 points and if the last few weeks are any indication it will be at the hands of one of the big three. The other basis for this pick is my own personal feeling that Oklahoma hands Baylor its first loss of the season. Oklahoma has been running the snot out of the ball lately, but Mayfield is dangerous as ever and this game just has too much juice to it. I like Baker, but I like him more with Mixon and or Perine in the mix as well. Gunner Kiel As the season has progressed I think you can see I am more than willing to go with the crowd and equally willing to paddle up stream. I think Kiel will be a bit overlooked Saturday night with all the other big names on the board. This could help create separation in GPP’s, but I also think Kiel makes a fine cash play. Now that he appears to be fully recovered from early season ouchy head stuff Kiel has found a rhythm and the offense is grooving. Kiel has back-to-back games of 34 fantasy points and has another juicy matchup with Tulsa. Both teams play fast, both teams play offense, but only one team sort of plays defense and it’s not Tulsa. Playing Tulsa is like making a rehab start in the minors with the lone difference is they will score some points as well. The Bearcats are projected for about 45 points and...

Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback JT Barrett There are a lot of moving parts this week and the value plays will likely change as news comes out, but not with my man pots and pans JT Barrett. The only reason Barrett is not a 10k quarterback is because Urban Meyer inexplicably chose Cardale Jones as the starter to open the season and his suspension last week. My guess is had been the starter to open the season or played at his normal level last week we would be looking at a salary up there with Boykin. Barrett is the perfect quarterback from a DFS perspective. He can run and he can throw. He also plays on a team and in an offense that produces a ton of points. I think you can make an argument to play Barrett over Boykin at the same price, but at a 10% discount it’s Barrett all day long. He may not be quite the passer as Boykin or have the weapons, but he runs more often and is more of a touchdown hawk in the red zone so I think that more than makes up for the lower passing totals. Barrett is the clear #1 for me. Keenan Reynolds There is enough value at receiver to figure out the final pieces to the puzzle, but depending on the injury news there may not be a ton of value at running back. If this scenario plays out one way to save some dough is to utilize Reynolds’ middling salary. It will be hard for me to get away from Barrett, but if I were, this is the guy to do it with. Reynolds is usually more of a GPP play with his basically one dimensional game. As our CFB eBook illustrated, quarterbacks with a similar skill set to Reynolds typically deviate more from their mean compared to a guy like Barrett who can beat you in multiple ways. That being said, he is typically 10-15% more expensive so with his 7100 FanDuel salary he starts to get back in the safety zone. Navy is not very deceptive about what...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Late 11/7/15

They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 69% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 59% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Kyle Murray I gave Murray a pretty long look last week, but apparently not long enough as ultimately I avoided the largely unknown quantity. Coming out of high school Murray was tabbed as the #1 dual threat quarterback and he put his skills on display last week tearing up the Gamecock defense to the tune of 223 through the air and another 156 on the ground. It seems clear to me as it should you, Murray can boogie and his lofty status as a runner appears to be every bit the truth. Auburn isn’t exactly a great matchup, but they are far from a stout defense. The Aggies are a touchdown favorite at home with a total around 60. Murray’s price is nowhere near his top end potential and with his ability on the ground his floor seems to be the highest of any quarterback relative to salary. I like Murray in an encore performance against the Tigers. Baker Mayfield If you want to spend up Mayfield is the place to do it. His game log doesn’t resemble that of an elite cash game play as his production has varied quite a bit from the mean week to week. I haven’t totally convinced myself a Sooner stack is the way to go, but something deep inside my DFS brain says if you play Mayfield you need to just stack the Sooners to guard against one of Mayfield’s off days. When Baker has fallen short Perine and Mixon have crushed it so the theory seems to make sense to either load up on Sooners or avoid them all in cash games. I actually like Oklahoma to make the dance as one of the playoff teams. I think they keep this thing rolling and drop a huge number on the Cyclones of Iowa State. Running Back Royce Freeman The Ducks opened the season in unusual fashion compared to the way they have become accustom too. After the first month they were just 2-2 having lost to the only legit teams, Michigan State & Utah, they faced. They cruised to wins over Eastern Washington and Georgia State, but still allowed 70pts combined in those wins. They are 3-1 in...

Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Trevone Boykin I get it, Boykin oozes fantasy greatness and everyone in the DFS world knows. That said, he’s crazy expensive and with salary based lineups you can’t just drop 24% of your salary on one guy lightly. As the season goes on pricing begins to catch up to production reducing the amount value across the entire salary spectrum. The middle tier players no longer offer the same safety as they did in the early going. This creates a scenario where getting away from Boykin to save the dough doesn’t always improve your overall lineup. That was really just a long winded way of saying Boykin is the best in the business and even at such a salary offers more safety than any other player on the board. A track meet a cometh. Greg Ward Jr. Ward is my secret man crush and boy has he disappointed me the past two weeks. A couple weeks ago you can argue he just ran cold considering the amount of scoring Houston did, but last week he simply wasn’t very good. I didn’t dismiss Vandy’s defense going into last week, but it appears I still didn’t give them enough credit. Ward is the only reason you would get away from Boykin and I am more than willing to take my chances that Ward bounces right back to his normal productive self. Houston sits as 8pt home favorites over Cincinnati with a total in the low 70’s. It’s hard to say if peeps will be off of Ward due his minor slump, but if they are he could prove to be the GPP play of the day.   Running Back Wendell Smallwood At first glance I didn’t feel there was a ton of solid options at running back, but as I consumed and digested every ounce of statistical data I’ve come around to the group. The difficulty I see with this slate isn’t so much finding decent plays at running back, it’s having the money to roster them. Spending up at QB, which I feel is the best cash game approach, makes it...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 11/5/15

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday 11/5/15 Another Thursday-Friday slate coming at you and we've got you covered. Bunch of solid teams and players to choose from. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 2 FanDuel and 1 DraftKings Thursday-Friday Lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 71% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 57% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Taylor Lamb The DFS talk this week centers around Jarrett Stidham and if he will be able to pick up where Seth Russell left off. If he can then his current pricing is quite the bargain. I will certainly have some exposure to Stidham, but if you don’t want to risk your shekels on a true freshman making his first start on the road I wouldn’t blame you. Lamb does not play in an offense as potent as Baylor, but his skill set and game flow offer reasonable safety at this price. Additionally, when pairing Lamb with Michael Cox you are more likely to capture most of Appalachian State’s offense. The same can be said for Stidham and Linwood, which is a combo I will also utilize. Appalachian State is favored by 10 points at home with a total in the low 60’s. Look for Lamb and Cox to do a large majority of the damage and if things really click you are looking at 4-5x upside with Lamb.   Running Back Shock Linwood Linwood could be in store for one his most productive days this season. Now that Seth Russell is lost for the year Baylor could lean a little more on their ground game to ease the true freshman into the spotlight of being the starting QB for a top 10 team. Linwood was productive even with Russell around and it’s only speculative that Baylor changes their offense, but why put the kid in harm’s way when you have a talent like Shock. That’s such an awesome first name. Baylor is projected for approximately 43 team points which is the highest team total on the board. Linwood should be a focal point of the offense as Baylor takes their game to Manhattan. K-State has a history of playing these games tight.   Wide Receiver Daniel Braverman Corey Davis Last week I recommended these both guys and Western Michigan proceeded to score 6 rushing touchdowns with the loan passing TD from backup Tom Flacco. I’ll take my chances it won’t be repeated when they face...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Late 10/31/15

Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Greg Ward Jr. Last week’s performance out of Ward shouldn’t be cause for alarm. In fact, I think it offers added appeal as there will surely be a few out there scared off his 10k salary based on last week’s stinker. I think more folks would shy away from Ward had there been a deeper group to select from, but as it stands we may not get the edge I am hoping for. Vandy is far from a cupcake, but Ward’s ability to escape the pocket and the fact he is basically their goal line back he rather immune to match-up. Houston should be fired up for this game playing in front of their home crowd. I know it’s just Vanderbilt, but they are still an SEC school and when traveling to smaller schools they carry the bulls-eye with them. Hopefully Farrow doesn’t vulture any TD’s this week, but either way I’m running Ward as my top dog on both sites. Running Back Christian McCaffrey You had to wonder if this dude would ever score a touchdown. Okay, not so much wonder if, but when. A few weeks back C-Mac broke the seal and the scores have been rolling in since. Over his last 3 contests he has accounted for 6 rushing touchdowns and another through the air. Stanford makes no secret their desire to line up and run the ball down your throat. That’s just what they do and so far very few have been able to slow down their run game. I really don’t anticipate Washington State stopping or slowing down the Cardinal attack. Stanford enters the game as 10pt road favorites with a total in the low 60’s. His price has jumped considerably, but this is a great matchup on a relatively short slate. It’s hard to argue the ROI this guy should net you Saturday night. Myles Gaskin I haven’t seen much of Gaskin’s name being thrown around the college football circuit, but this cat can boogie. Considering how limited Washington’s offense is and especially their passing game it’s pretty impressive what Myles has been able to do what he’s done. Last week at Stanford he ran for 108 yards and a...
