Daily Fantasy Football Wide Receivers Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 2 - 9/17/17 We already covered Jordy Nelson, Amari Cooper, Michael Thomas and the Jags’ WR group in our main picks article article. For this article we’ll cover some more cash game considerations as well as some tournament targets. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL optimizer for FanDuel and DraftKings, our MLB Optimizer, and our new Player Lab! We've got you completely covered. Julio Jones FD 8800 DK 9200 Opponent GB Proj Points FD - 16.05 DK - 19.23 This isn’t a “sleeper” article so we’ll lead off with the top projected WR on the slate. He didn’t make our cash game article because of the price and Julio’s tendency over the last couple of seasons to almost disappear from games. That was the case in Week 1 in which he finished with a 4/66 line on 5 measly targets. It was an inauspicious start for arguably one of the top 3 WRs in the league. But Julio’s issue (and it was the problem last year) is complete inconsistency in his week-to-week performances. He was one of the most volatile wide outs in the league last year and had extreme peaks and valleys in his performances. That makes him a concern for cash game structures where you are often paying top dollar for a player who doesn’t locked in targets each game. But the Falcons are in a fantastic spot here at home in a game that should be a shootout. He’s a clear GPP target and that isn’t going out on a limb, but I’d caution against using him in “safer” contests. Keenan Allen FD 7100 DK 5800 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 13.96 DK - 17.3 When healthy, Allen has one of the some of the best per game target numbers you’ll seen. “When healthy” is the operative term here though because he played only one half of the first game last season before going down with a torn ACL (though I should note he was 6/63 on 7 targets in that half). He came back and picked up right where he left off in the target department in Week 1, leading the team with 10 though he only converted it to a 5/35 game. But that was against a tough Denver defense secondary of Aqib Talib and Chris Harris. The Dolphins don’t have anything close to that kind of one-on-one...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks – FanDuel & DraftKings 1/27/17

Posted by on Jan 27, 2017 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, featured, News, Weekly Fantasy College Football Picks | 10 comments

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 1/27/17 I waited until this morning to write the picks hoping some pieces of injury information would at least begin to crystallize a little. That didn’t happen. Even at the time of this post (8 AM EST) half of the games lacked Vegas lines. And so we are left with a ton of question marks. This picks article is going to look a little different than normal as for some positions there will be more “if this, then that” scenarios. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new NFL player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point Guards Mike Conley FD - $7400 DK - $7400 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 37.85 DK - 39.99 With the Grizzlies a little banged up and overall lacking much in the way real scorers, even more of the offensive load has fallen on Conley’s shoulders this season. He’s averaging more shots per minute this season as compared to last and been much more efficient from beyond the arc (40% from three as compared to a 37% career average). He’s also rebounding the position much better this season, roughly 13% more than what he’s done over his time in the NBA. Portland isn’t a fantastic matchup though Lillard certainly isn’t known for his on ball defense. Conley’s a relative value especially considering the Grizz have needed to play him minutes in the mid-to-high 30’s over the short term. Look for that to continue tonight. Elfrid Payton FD - $6500 DK - $7000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 35.03 DK - 36.99 I’ve never seen a point guard dribble the ball off his own legs for a turnover in one game more than Elfrid did in his last one against the Bulls. It was straight up brutal to watch and he was a TO machine for the whole affair. And yet I’m going right back to the well here against the Celtics. I like this play significantly more if D.J. Augustin is ruled out again for Friday, but the Boston D versus point guards this season is such that I’m almost willing to take Payton even if the Magic come into the game full strength. They are allowing more than league average scoring to opposing ones and Payton’s minutes (for now) are trending in the right direction. I know that isn’t saying much...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 12 Main Slate

QUARTERBACKS Carson Palmer FD 7100 DK 5300 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 21.76 DK - 22.69 The price on DraftKings is just way too low considering his weapons and the opponent. Palmer’s completion percentage is down a bit this season and we aren’t seeing the crazy touchdown passes from last season (which were an outlier) but he’s now fallen into the bottom of the middle tier in pricing on DK and is a deal on FanDuel as well. He’s still averaging around 40 pass attempts per game and is facing a bottom third team defense in the Atlanta Falcons. Vegas doesn’t expect the Cardinals to put up a ton of points here (the total seems low to me frankly) but the potential passing volume for Palmer and the price make him a top play in our system. It sees this as a buy low opportunity after some down weeks since returning from injury. It doesn’t often feel good buying low (after all there’s usually a reason the price is low) but this is a case where I suspect it’s been overcorrected. Eli Manning FD 7800 DK 6500 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 23.79 DK - 24.8 Man the Browns are just brutal. They are almost historically bad with no real end in sight. Targeting plays against them has been EV+ all season long and that should be the case again this week. Eli, like Palmer above, feels a little odd for cash games considering the...

Daily Fantasy Football Running Back Values for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 2 9/18/16

Daily Fantasy Football Running Back Values for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 2 9/18/16 We covered our main cash game plays in our Week 2 Picks where we touched on DeAngelo Williams, C.J. Anderson, Rashad Jennings and T.J. Yeldon. For this piece we will touch on some of the cheaper targets you can use for salary relief and/ or GPP upside. In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. You can grab a free trial to test out yourself. START YOUR FREE TRIAL! RUNNING BACK VALUES Danny Woodhead FD 6400 DK 5200 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 14.92 DK - 17.21 Melvin Gordon FD 6600 DK 4800 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 11.03 DK - 12.39 It's going to be interesting to see how the Chargers handle their business going forward. It was looking like Keenan Allen had come back to solidify the volume receiver slot Philip Rivers could really excel with. And then bam, torn ACL and they are sort of back to the drawing board. The passes will have to go somewhere and Woodhead is clearly a solid candidate. He led the team in carries in Week 1 (16/89) while also seeing seven targets in the passing game (5/37). He isn't the goal line guy which hurts the TD upside, but that's reflected in his price. He's close to a cash game play this week. Speaking of that touchdown upside, that's more Melvin Gordon's area. He was out-carried by Woodhead last week (16-14) but got into the end zone twice. He's clearly the goal line back in this offense and around for series as well. Woodhead has the pass catching piece which doesn't equal out the TD's (though it's close) but Gordon is in a good spot if you're reaching just for the end zone. Legarrette Blount FD 6000 DK 4000 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 14.15 DK - 14.83 James White FD 5600 DK 4000 Opponent MIA Proj Points FD - 12.05 DK - 14.72 Look, you really never know with the Patriots. Just when it seems they have a clear plan of attack with their personnel they'll just go completely off board and do something different. That of course is why they can compete and win almost no matter who they have on the field. Last week? No Gronk and no Brady. No problem....

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Thursday-Friday 12/31/15-1/1/15 – Bowl Season

Posted by on Dec 30, 2015 in featured, Weekly Fantasy College Football Picks | 0 comments

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Thursday-Friday 12/31/15-1/1/15 - Bowl Season It's College Bowl Season and we will bring picks, plays and lineups for every slate during this most wonderful time of the year. This time around it's the New Year's Eve- New Year's Day slate. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This time they include 1 FanDuel Thursday Lineup, 1 FanDuel Friday Lineup and 1 DraftKings lineup. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 70% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 60% of our DraftKiNewngs lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Thursday FanDuel Baker Mayfield It’s hard to say which direction the crowd will go tonight between Mayfield and Watson, but my GPS says Mayfield. Both quarterbacks have similar skill sets, but Watson is probably the better NFL prospect. My selection of Mayfield is really about the Sooners defense compared to Clemson. Both defenses are talented, but I think the Sooners present the stiffer challenge. Mayfield also has the most talented receiver of either team in Sterling Shepard. Oklahoma also has the highest projected team points and even though they run the ball quite a bit Mayfield is very much the leader of the offense. Ultimately I will have exposure to both, but more so on Mayfield. Friday FanDuel JT Barrett Like Thursday we have two ways to go at quarterback, Barrett or Kelly. Kelly has been running a little hot with rushing touchdowns in the short term and I think his FanDuel salary responded to his recent game log. Ole Miss actually has the higher projected team points, but I still like Barrett as the safer play. Barrett’s game is predicated on his ability to run the ball, but he still has the ability to pass when he has too. The last time I recommended Barrett he puked on the field and went back to the locker room or at least that would have been a slight improvement compared to the way he played. DFS requires a short memory and to not get caught up in recency bias. It also helps he totally crushed it in the season finale against Michigan who has a pretty tough defense or at least better than Notre Dame. This is going to be the Zeke/Barrett show and I think the Irish fans could be in for a long one. Draftkings Value Chad Kelly Considering I felt it was fairly close on FanDuel where Kelly and Barrett were priced neck and neck. I think it makes it pretty clear...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wednesday 12/30 – Bowl Season

Posted by on Dec 30, 2015 in College Football Lineups, featured, Weekly Fantasy College Football Picks | 0 comments

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wednesday 12/30 - Bowl Season It's College Bowl Season and we will bring picks, plays and lineups for every slate during this most wonderful time of the year. This time around it's the four game Wednesday slate featuring some interesting plays. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This time they include 1 FanDuel and 1 DraftKings lineups. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Dak Prescott This is an easy one and I’ll make it short and sweet. There are several aspects to consider with this play and as promised they will be delivered in rapid fire. One, Dak is the prototypical DFS quarterback. He can beat you through the air and crush your soul on the ground. Two, he is the catalyst of the offense leading the Bulldogs in both passing and rushing. Dak accounted for 35 of 47 offensive touchdowns scored this year for State. Three, Mississippi State has the highest projected team points on the slate. That bodes well for a guy that accounts for 75% of his team’s offensive touchdowns. Four, there’s no better way to spend your money. The slate is short and it lacks star power. You have to get your dollars in and Dak is the surest thing on the board. Five, who cares at this point. So that’s 4.5 reasons to roster Dak as your Quarterback across all formats. Running Back Tre Carson Carson will likely be one of the highest, if not the highest, started running back of the day. I assure this is an isolated event and is directly related to the lack of options at the position. This is truly a pick your poison type scenario. It’s not that Carson is all that great of a play, but his situation seems to have the most clarity. He really doesn’t compete with anyone for carries making his volume fairly consistent compared to your other options. Jake Hubenak will be making his first start of the season at quarterback so A&M could focus a little more on the run game to ease him into the game. Carson also has good hands and could find himself as a nice outlet for Hubenak if he struggles to pass the ball down the field. Carson likely won’t finish as the top back of the day, but he’s your best bet for cash games. Wide Receiver Fred Ross...
