Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings for Thursday 8/28/14 Ahhhh. Its back! Finally something to make it worth getting out of bed in the morning. I, like you, live for football and especially college football. Even more than that, DAILY FANTASY COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! I'm happily married with 3 kids and would trade every single one of em to force the NFL and NCAA to play football 13 months a year. Love you honey☺ In an ever changing landscape of depth charts, NCAA violations and drinking champagne on an oversized rubber ducky where do you start? Too many players? Too many teams? Overwhelming? Cascarruthers & DFSR have everything you need to dominate the competition. Quarterbacks Connor Halliday – FD 8800 DK 6900 Wash State passes to setup the pass and then passes again to rub it in. Halliday was a viable option most weeks last year and now has an even greater command of the offense Mike Leach runs (or passes). He’s 5th year senior with basically the same WR Corp from 2013, playing a home game against a less-than-stellar defensive opponent in Rutgers. Halliday attempted over 50 passes an eye-popping 8 times last year, which includes an 89 attempt game to boot! Pure volume alone makes Halliday about as safe a pick possible for opening week. P.J. Walker – FD 7500 DK 5100 Dual threat – check! Second year in the same offense – check! Manning Award watch list – check! Walker had some ups and downs last year, as should be expected for a freshman. And he does comes with a few risks for week 1 with playing on the road against an SEC team (Vandy) and some new faces at WR. But the latter doesn’t really scare me and could actually prove to beneficial fantasy wise. The upside at this price is worth the gamble. Bo Wallace – DK 6300 Bo Wallace is back for another year trying to lead the Rebels to their first, IDK, anything. Stuck playing in the SEC Ole Miss runs into NFL caliber defenses on the regular so Wallace rarely makes my lineups. Boise St is no cupcake, but they aren’t Bama or LSU either. Bo, now in his 3rd year as a starter, has a superb understanding of the offense and should be the unquestioned leader. Primarily a passer with the ability to sneak in some rushing yards Mr. Wallace has the goods you're looking for to open the fantasy season. The price is a little steep on FD, but he is squarely in my DK lineups across the board. BO KNOWS DFS CFB   Running Backs Mike Davis – FD 9300 DK 6700 Davis returns as the...

Weekly Fantasy College Football Picks for Draft Street 12/21/13

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for Draft Street Been jones-ing for some action ever since Championship Week? Army/Navy game not cutting it for you? Well stop your pacing and shaking, Bowl season is upon us and with it, this Saturday has the first slate of games. And because you're a fanatic, these are your storied Bowl games for this weekend. Who doesn’t love the rich history of the: (one of these is fake) Gildan New Mexico Bowl Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl Seamstresses of America Stitching Bowl Famous Idaho Potato Bowl R + L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Our resident NCAA expert and Draft Street CFB maven Cascarruthers makes his picks for this Saturday’s Draft Street leagues.   Quarterbacks I’m advocating a heavy Derek Carr fade. And it isn’t just because he’s dreamy looking and I want his life. It’s because the price here just isn’t justifiable especially against a USC defense that’s handled Oregon State and other pass heavy teams. There are better, more cost effective options. Like... Connor Halliday $14,574 - This pick is a lock. And short of them cancelling the game, Halliday makes it into every single one of my lineups. Wazzu’s game plan is basically throw, throw, throw, sometimes punt, throw, go to halftime, throw, throw and so on. I mean, Halliday threw 89 passes just in the game versus Oregon. While touchdowns always pay the day, Halliday hedges this price with his heavy volume. He may be a popular start, but you need to roll with the crowd on this one. Keep an eye on Joe Licata $12,469 - Garret Grayson $14,423 Avoid Derek Carr $22,512   Running Backs Javorius Allen $14,831 - Here’s to hoping you started getting Allen into your lineups at the beginning of November when he started getting the heavy reps in the USC backfield, taking over for Silas Redd and Tre Madden.  Teams can run against Fresno when they hang in the game. It’s when Carr and company start piling on the points that teams get away from the ground game. Look for Allen to get a ton of reps and find the endzone a couple times in this one.   Marcus Mason $8,631 - Though Wazzu chucks the ball all over the field, it doesn’t mean we can’t have someone from their backfield in our lineups. Mason has significant upside at this price. He catches a bunch of passes out of the backfield (great in DS’s PPR format) and gets just enough reps out of the backfield to keep him from totally bottoming out. His production is such that, to me, touchdowns are a bonus in his game. Mason is a lock.   Elijah Maguire $8,631 - This is...
