I can only imagine the celebration Ickey Woods would be doing if he were in our position. 24 hours from the second installment of the DraftKings Millionaire Maker. I can hardly contain myself! I will admit, when watching the games on Sunday, my go-to celebration dance is not the Ickey Woods shuffle, but the Victor Cruz salsa (this goes way back to my first year of playing daily fantasy, Ramsey you know what’s up). I promised myself I wouldn’t write a giant introduction discussing strategies or the current events of the daily fantasy world and for once, I am going to keep that promise. Without further ado, here are my DraftKings week 6 daily fantasy picks (P.S. I already wrote my Thursday strategy piece and it’s a good one; so if you like my ramblings then make sure to check it out next week).   Week 6 Picks: Redemption – Take Two of the Millionaire Maker   Quarterbacks Matt Ryan $DK 8,600 I refuse to give Peyton Manning DK $9,400 his own paragraph…so I’ll just write about him under Matt Ryan’s header. Manning is the most expensive QB (again) by $400 and rightfully so. A Great matchup and essentially no running game to take away from his stat line. If you can fit his enormous salary in your lineup then I’m not going to fault you. With that said, I think Matt Ryan has an an equally good situation and is $800 less than Peyton. In Ryan’s home games this year, he is averaging 367 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Guess where this week’s game is? Matty Ice takes on a middle of the road defense in the Chicago Bears where the Falcons are 3 point favorites with an over/under of 55! Vegas expects the Falcons to put up 29 points and...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Saturday Late Games 10/11/14

If you have real time questions make sure to hit up @cascarruthers on Twitter for lineup help. Our week five NFL picks are live. And don’t forget to get access to our NFL projections. It’s a free 3-day trial for all of your Sunday DFS needs.   Cheat sheets for fantasy college football on FanDuel and Draftkings Listen - it'd be nearly impossible to create a whole projection system for college football, but Casey is willing to sell his cash game lineups through DFSR. If you want to see how these plays and some others fit into cash game lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings you can purchase a CFB pack that includes two FanDuel lineups, three DraftKings lineups, and a cheatsheet with analysis on a variety of other plays for $5 by clicking the PayPal button below. This service is separate from our NFL projection system.   Quarterbacks Kevin Ellison - FD 7700 Ahh, it feels so good to be able to pick this dude. Ellison is one of the best DFS plays you will ever come across. He’s a QB that can seriously get it done with his feet, which is always a good source for providing a high floor. Ellison has gone over 100 yards on the ground in every game except one (he finished with 96) and has added 5 scores on the ground too. He calls his own number down low for those short yardage TD’s. He also plays for a team that prefers to run the ball and they do it well. Tailback Matt Breida draws plenty of attention in his own right, so defenses really struggle containing Ellison (both of them really). As for safety, it doesn’t get much safer than Ellison. He may not offer the greatest upside, but certainly one of the highest floors of all the QB options. Cody Fajardo - FD 9500 DK 8800 Another duel threat QB on the slate tonight. Fajardo is the focal point of the Nevada offense and everything runs through him. Cody is all over the place with his passing game finishing with as many as 321yds and as little as 64. The good news is when Cody struggles passing the ball he simply just runs more often. Colorado St is okay on defense and certainly won’t roll over for the Wolf Pack. With a Vegas total hovering around 64 there should be plenty of scoring to go around and Fajardo usually has something to do with it.   Running Backs Matt...

This service is separate from our NFL projection system. Quarterbacks P.J. Walker - DK 5900 I am not totally sure what Walker has done to upset the DFS algorithm gods, but his price is once again well below value. Temple is coming off a bye week so they should be well rested and well prepared to face a shaky Tulsa team. Tulsa ranks 121st against the pass, so Walker should have little issue moving the ball through the air. Don’t forget he adds a little sizzle with his feet too. The only negative about Walker this week is he isn’t available on Fanduel. My guess is Walker won’t be the highest scoring QB, but he should be one of the best value plays at the position. Everett Golson - FD 9000 DK 8200 Golson and the Irish are coming off a gutsy performance in their quality win over Stanford. This week they get the for North Carolina. This has the makings of a letdown game with Florida State up next, but NC is just that bad. College is a little bit different whereas one slip up can cost you a shot at the title. Nevertheless you should mildly consider the Irish come out flat. I'm holding on to the thought that if the Irish do come out flat it will simply mean more Golson will do with his feet. Slow start or not, Golson one of your best options this Saturday. Brad Kaaya - FD 5900 DK 6600 Kaaya probably isn’t a cash game play, but I wanted to bring you something a little different. Other than people reading this article I’m not sure anyone will be playing Kaaya, which is perfect...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Thursday Games 10/9/14

Halliday has the best season numbers, but he hasn’t faced a defense quite like Stanford and his price tag is a little steep to find out the hard way. Hogan offers decent value against the 101st pass defense. Now that Tyler Gaffney is gone Stanford hasn’t found its running game. They haven’t exactly found their passing game either, but their best weapons are receivers. Hogan even can sneak a few rushing TD’s in every now and again. I don’t love it, but it’s the way I’m going. Vegas has Stanford scoring much more than their season average to-date and I'm willing to spend here considering Hogan's price is more in line with his season averages.   Running Back Donnel Pumphrey - FD 8900 DK 7800 Pump was a major disappointment last week (only 94 yards rushing), but stay the course and give him another go. Trust me, he’s a stud and he gets another soft defense front to showcase his talents. On the season he's averaging over 112 yards and two TDs a game. Some of that is wrapped up in the 164/4 game against UNLV, but he still sees the majority of the carries and in this offense. It’s a short night and if Donnel goes off, like he’s very capable of doing, and you don’t have him in your lineups you’re surely sunk. New Mexico is ranked 123rd against the run and that’s against mostly inferior opponents so it’s a bad 123rd ranking. For me, he's a must start across the board. Go ahead, Get your Pump on. Marteze Waller - FD...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Saturday Late Games 10/2/14

As CC (Chris Carter) would say, " C'mon man". LSU is good, but they don't have a top notch defense like they have had in years past. Marshall will likely pay this number just with the damage he does on the ground. In fact, Marshall may rely more on his feet than normal if he struggles to pass. Again, LSU is good not great. FanDuel's pricing is a way different story though, I wont be playing Marshall on that site as there are cheaper options just as strong or better. Connor Cook - FD 6900 DK 6000 Don't be fooled by some of Cook's sub-par performances. Michigan State is usually up by 50 at halftime so Cook isn't called on much in the second half of games. If you look at Cook's first half numbers he is deadly efficient, often passing and/or running for multiple TD's. In the past two games Connor has attempted a mere 18 passes, but still managed a total of 6 TD's in those affairs!. In comes Nebraska and I'm saying Cook gets a full run. He wont be an overly popular play, which is good for you - separation and safety. Cook is going to have a monster game and at this price he offers flexibility at other positions. At the risk of eating crow, I'm calling a 4 TD game by Cook.   Running Backs Javorius Allen - FD 8600 DK 6600 Allen is my top RB for the late slate. USC is going to have no problem scoring points...

Watson delivered six, count em, six TD passes in his first ever start. Oh, and he passed for over 400 yards to boot. Next up NCST and their cream puff defense. Watson's price will continue to climb so you need to get when the gettin is good. NCST is coming off a tough loss to FSU and now has to travel to Death Valley. That’s kind of a tough spot for them so I think the 14pt favorite Clemson is going to hang a big number on the Wolfpack. Another tid bit that has me man crushing on Deshaun, NCST actually has some offense so Clemson will likely be full choke most of the game. He is my top QB play across both sites and should deliver another fantastic day. Kenny Hill - FD 9500 DK 7900 Hill hasn’t quite delivered the same kind of day as when he totally dismantled the Gamecocks opening weekend, but he has been good pretty darn good. It also helps when the game goes to OT (like last week). This game should be a wild one and Hill should be the epicenter for everything A&M does. He spreads the ball around so it's hard for opposing defenses to really zero in on his "favorite" targets. He also can run a little when needed. The extra sauce on the side to this one is the Bulldogs will undoubtedly score a bunch of points and force Hill to keep the tempo and get the ball downfield more often. James Knapke - FD 6800 FD only, unfortunately, because the BG offense is humming...
