Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday-Friday 9/17/15 The daily fantasy college football season trucks along. There've been huge performances, some upsets, some should-have-upsets and we are just starting to get an idea of who the true standouts will be this season. We've got you covered for this Thursday-Friday slate. We're also selling lineups and cheatsheets for every CFB slate. This week they include 2 DraftKings and 2 FanDuel lineups along with a cheatsheet of write ups on a number of different players. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season our 12 of our 13 FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 75% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups and Cheatsheet Quarterback DeShaun Watson Watson burst on the scene last year and quickly became a household name until an injury cut his season short. Through two games Watson has thrown for 442 yards and 5 touchdowns. That’s hardly the Tecmo Bowl-type stats he’s capable of putting up, but when you play Wofford and Appalachian State your coach tends to take the foot off the gas. Now they travel to meet up with Louisville as 6pt road favorites. The crowd is bound to be raucous when Watson & Co. take the field Thursday night and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets off to a slow start. I see Watson having to do more with his feet compared to the first two games and I also expect Clemson to keep the throttle high until the final whistle. He will be a favorite play, but on a short slate don’t against the grain with this guy. He's the best quarterback going on in this mini-slate and it's a tough proposition thinking about fading him.   Running Back Dalvin Cook Whoa buddy. Did you see what this cat did last week? How about a 30/266/3 stat line? Cook was a man possessed and single handedly dominated the game. Golson and the passing game were a little out of sync and in stepped Cook to lift the Seminoles to 2-0. This is a short slate and Cook comes with a hefty price tag, but it stands to reason you need to figure out a way to get him in your lineups. If he goes off like he did last week and you opted to save the dough it’s very unlikely you will be able to make up enough ground to finish in the money. There are literally zero questions surrounding Cook, something you cannot say about any other back on the slate. Dalvin is averaging an...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Late 9/12/15 Week Two in the wonderful world of College Football and we're back after a solid first romp through the CFB landscape. Click Here to Purchase Lineups and Cheatsheet Quarterback Dak Prescott I am not totally in love with Prescott in this spot, but it's really hard to deny his ability. He is a one man do-it-all highlight reel. I expected more from him last week, but he still finished with over 30 fantasy points. You would think that maybe LSU is a tough matchup and to avoid Dak. The former may be true, but not the latter. Guys like Dak are essentially immune to matchups. That’s not to contextual pieces are irrelevant, but as we pointed out in our CFB Ebook, quarterbacks with his skillset deviate from the mean less than other style QB's. A tough matchup can really just mean Dak makes more plays with his legs. To support this approach let me point out that Dak only had 8 rushing attempts in an easy win last week, but last year against LSU he had 22 rushing attempts and finished with 33 fantasy points. Both teams were better last year and especially on the defensive side of the ball. If the Aggies stand a chance in this game, and Vegas thinks they do as only a four point dog, Dak will be called upon early and often. Money is relatively easy on Fanduel so getting money in on a guy like Dak is a safe place to start. His price is probably Draftkings is a little steep and pricing is tough there so it may be hard to play him on that site. Vernon Adams Jr. It's no easy thing taking over for a guy like Marcus Mariota, though that kind of torch passing is made a bit easier by playing in a system's like Oregon's. Now I'm not saying just anyone could do it, but I feel like I could put up somewhere in the range of 10 fantasy points a week just by taking snaps under center for this offense. Just imagine if I was an actual athlete? Adams spent his first start under...

Click Here to Purchase Lineups and Cheatsheet Quarterback Malik Zaire Making his first home start last week against the Longhorns Zaire was everything, but disappointing. Coming into the year the CFB landscape was well aware of his athleticism and ability to escape the pocket when things break down, but his ability as a passer was still, in some ways, up in the air. Well, how does 19 of 22 for 313 and 3 sound? Pretty dang gone good. Texas is certainly rebuilding, but an 86% completion rate is great no matter the level of competition. Zaire also didn’t dink and dunk his way to an efficient line as he averaged 14 yards per pass attempt. Next up for the Irish is Virginia, who is fresh off getting shredded by UCLA’s super frosh Josh Rosen. Malik offers solid value with a reasonable floor as the 4th most expensive QB, but his price isn’t so high where he will hamper your remaining lineup. After Zaire it gets a little sticky in terms of value so playing it safe with Zaire is certainly a recommended cash play. Zaire should have little difficulty picking apart the Cavalier’s defense and should continue his streak of multi-touchdown games. Lamar Jackson If your tolerance for risk is strong Jackson could be the play of the day. Coming on in relief last week for Reggie Bonnafon, Jackson went 9 for 20 with 0 touchdowns and 1 pick. That’s hardly a ringing endorsement, but the value with Jackson is wrapped up in his ability to make plays with his feet. As a freshman Jackson has much to work on as a passer, but his freakish athletic talent is quite apparent. Louisville will likely deploy a heavy ground attack with a young passer and less than stellar talent at the wide receiver position. But rest assured, the ground game will heavily involve Jackson. While Jackson may struggle to pass the ball, that only means the inexperienced signal caller will rely more on his feet. At $5800...

Click Here to Purchase Lineups and Cheatsheet   Quarterback Jeff Driskel The Florida transfer may have a found himself a new home in Ruston, Louisiana playing for the La Tech Bulldogs. Last week Driskel opened the year basically perfect, throwing for four touchdowns on only 15 pass attempts while running another in. Last week's opponent, Southern, was known more for their marching band than their football and the Bulldogs know this week against WKU will be a totally different story. Much to my chagrin, WKU was essentially awful last week facing a not-so-great Vanderbilt team, but maybe they were looking ahead at revenge. Ok, I realize it’s a little farfetched to think WKU was looking past an SEC team, but you bet your sweet arse they want revenge against La Tech. Last year The Bulldogs thumped the Hilltoppers to the tune of 59-10. Driskel & Co. are on the road and also coming off a short week. It may seem like there are some things working against Driskel here and I gave a brief pause about the potential for an extremely hostile environment; one where the home team remembers the embarrassment put on them last year. But I'm rolling Driskel. Start with his price. Money is crazy tight and on a site like DraftKings where you play two quarterbacks, it's really hard to imagine a lineup that doesn’t include Driskel (though it isn't impossible). Fanduel offers more salary flexibility so I don’t think he's necessarily a must start there, but still probably the best option. Driskel's career at Florida never really materialized partially due to injury and partially due to a lack of talent. Well, this is Conference USA and not the SEC so the Driskel-types become big fish in little ponds. He's a blue chip athlete who doesn’t receive enough credit for his ability to make things happen with his feet. Obviously anything can happen, but WKU is not good enough to run the Bulldogs out of the building. I think you get a full throttle...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Late 9/5/15

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Late 9/5/15 Welcome back to the wonderful world of College Football. Hope you are as excited as we are. We've been gearing up for CFB with a bunch of offerings. At the bottom of the page you'll can sign up for our free e-book "8 Things You Need to Know Before Playing Daily Fantasy College Football". So we'll move beyond all the stats and highlights that make Dak a beast on game day and tell you why he's still a great play even at such a lofty tag. The Bulldogs are expected to roll as 21 point favorites, but Vegas thinks Southern Miss is going to do a little scoring as well with a total in the low 60's. Prescott has ridiculously high floor with his ability to beat you on the ground or through the air. Mississippi State has a solid veteran receiving led by DeRunnya Wilson, more on him later. Josh Robinson, who was a touchdown magnet, has moved on to playing in the NFL which should create more opportunities for Dak in close. This is kind of an odd slate salary wise and I think spending up for Dak makes a lot of sense given the value that can be found at other positions. Kyle Allen If you don't want to spend up for Dak or are looking for his running mate, look no further. Allen comes with a bit more risk than Dak, but the price is also considerably less. Ill start by saying this game has one of the highest totals on the board at 70. A&M is a slim 3 point favorite and that's only because the game is being played on their home turf. Allen fared pretty well last year as a true freshman and should have a much higher understanding of the offense entering 2015. Much of this play is about price vs opportunity. Both teams are expected to score near 35 points and Allen priced in the mid salary tier. The play here is a starting QB in what should be The O.K. Corral, but only costing you a middling salary. The upside is very real.   Running Back Elijah McGuire What's not...

In our Ebook and the Thursday article we discussed the safety derived by deploying a multidimensional signal caller. The defense has to play honest against a guy who can beat you in more than one way, and if they are over aggressive it's off to the races. Devoid of major NFL talent as a supporting cast, Hill is essentially a one man wrecking crew. His season was cut short last year due to a broken leg, but Mr. Hill says he's 100% healthy and ready to get back on the field. BYU certainly isn't easing into the season by opening on the road against a tough Nebraska team, but I think Hill is more than ready to get rolling. Mitch Matthews is the only legit receiver Hill has to throw the ball too, but at 6'5" Matthews can be a matchup nightmare, especially in the Red Zone. His usage rate should be very high week 1 as they look to pull off the upset. BYU is getting six points on the road with a total in the mid 60's so the game should be back and forth wire to wire. I fully expect Hill to do damage on the ground and through the air. His price is steep, but the safety he offers is real. He's a set it and forget type guy. Jaquez Johnson Continuing the theme of dual threat quarterbacks, JJ is a great fit and at a discounted price compared to Hill. Johnson probably doesn’t have the same ceiling as Hill, but at his price he arguably has the higher floor. Like Hill, Johnson is a do-it-all type athlete who is the unquestioned centerpiece of the offense. This will be Johnson's third year under center for the Owls. So at this point he should fully grasp the offense and will look to improve...
