Point Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $8600 DK - $8400Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 47.16 DK - 51.09 LaMelo has been playing more consistent minutes of late including 38 the last time out. That one was a bit weird because he was the only starter who got run through the crazy blowout in which the Hornets put up 158 points. But the floor is still high for Ball here no matter what and he will be facing a Lakers’ team that’s wanted to push the pace this season. The 228.5 total in this game is the second-highest of the slate and the Lakers could be without Anthony Davis in this one. Lebron James is questionable which could put LA in a really compromised situation. Russell Westbrook FD - $7800 DK - $8600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 44.33 DK - 48.43 Oh, brother, what to do with this guy? It sure looks like Anthony Davis is going to sit on the back-to-back in this game and Lebron James is questionable. If the latter were to start then I think we could take Russ out of consideration. But Lebron sat on the front end of the back-to-back in a national game on Thursday. If it’s the Westbrook show then I think we basically have to risk it against the Hornets who’ve been flying up and down the court this season. At under $8K on FanDuel, we would probably just have to hold our collective noses and do it. Strongly consider Dejounte Murray (FD 9900 DK 10000) Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $7600 DK - $7700Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 38.02 DK - 41.51 Cade had seen a price dip over a couple of weeks stretch when he was struggling some in the fantasy department. That has turned around in a big way in the short term. He’s played 36 more minutes in each of the last three games and put up some monster lines including a 34 point, eight-rebound, eight assist performance against the Nuggets on Tuesday. He’s taken 23 or more shots in two of the last three games and is really rounding out into the first overall pick right...

Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9500 DK - $10400Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 49.97 DK - 55.23 The Kings are coming on the back-to-back here after getting completely run out of the gym by the Celtics on Tuesday. And we can roll guys up against them again. Trae is in a fantastic spot against the third-worst defense in the league running an above-average pace. He’s playing just about 36+ minutes right now and has scored at least 28 points in each of the last five games. With double-digit assists in two of the last four, there are clear signs that the fantasy production is all well and fine and the FanDuel price is a fairly easy call considering the context. Cole Anthony FD - $5300 DK - $6700Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 31.46 DK - 35.12 It can sometimes be tough, mentally, to play a dude when the short-term performance has looked bad. But those can also be the best times to do it. Because others are game log watching and missing some of the value. I think that’s the case with Anthony here whose price, especially on FanDuel, has really fallen of late. A lot of it is around the shooting which is way down from three and the field overall over the last month. Yes, the volume is down too with the Magic getting healthier. But there’s been an overcorrection with the price here thanks to some run bad overall. I am all for playing him on FanDuel and actually think his floor is pretty high on that price. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10200 DK - $11500Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 57.58 DK - 63.07 Harden is a bit hard to figure here. On the one hand, the Nets need every single thing out of him here and he’s coming off a 33 point, 11 assist, 12 rebounds game against the Lakers that more than paid the day. But then there are the 37 minutes a game he’s playing this season that rank second in the league (per game) to only Fred VanVleet who is now out with knee soreness. It would seem to make...

Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8200 DK - $9100Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 45.58 DK - 48.94 VanVleet is currently playing the most minutes in the league with that number butting up against about 40 per game. He just gets insane amounts of run every single game and the Raptors need it from a scoring and just general offensive organization standpoint. And that kind of opportunity lines up great with the opponent here on Tuesday with the Hornets offering one of the best DFS matchups around. They are in the bottom third in terms of defensive efficiency and play the second-fastest pace in the league. In addition to the minutes, the fantasy production is more than there for VanVleet who’s double-doubled (points and assists) in two of the last three games and is averaging 25 points and seven assists per game over the last month. The FanDuel price makes this a pretty easy call for cash games. Dejounte Murray FD - $10300 DK - $10000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 53.9 DK - 55.95 Murray draws the best DFS matchup out there on Tuesday, facing a Houston team that is dead last in defensive efficiency and first overall in pace. There is no better combination for our daily fantasy purposes and Murray has as high a floor as anyone on this slate. That’s because he’s turned into one of the best fantasy guys out there, having a true breakout season on the statistical side of things. He’s nearly averaging a triple-double on the season with 19 points, nine rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game while also adding in two steals. The solid contribution across the stat line would make him appear an incredibly safe option here even with the five-figure price tag on both sites. Strongly consider Derrick White (FD 6900 DK 6000) on DraftKings. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10500 DK - $11700Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 59.57 DK - 64.94 Patty Mills FD - $5200 DK - $4900Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 25.7 DK - 28.8 This could be all James Harden tonight against the Lakers with the Nets missing both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving...

Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $8100 DK - $7800Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 40.44 DK - 42.51 This is a weird, three-game slate here on Saturday with all three tilts having pretty wide spreads. So we could be looking at some blowout risk across the board. I still think Paul has a pretty high floor here all things considered against a Pacers’ team that is in the bottom third in terms of defensive efficiency. Paul has double-doubled in three of the last five games with points and assists while adding in a ton on the defensive end as well. The Suns are -12.5 home favorites here against a beat-up Indiana team so we could see CP3 get buzzed off in the fourth if things get out of hand. But that’s the case with about every game here. And for what it’s worth, Cameron Payne (FD 4100 DK 4600) makes for something of an interesting cash hedge on a short slate. He plays enough minutes (for the most part) to not totally crush you in a regular game. And if it gets out of hand he’d likely be running the 4th quarter minutes as well. If Jrue Holiday (FD 7900 DK 7700) is in the starting lineup (finally) and not limited then I think we can take the risk on his price. The issue is they are on the back-to-back here and he could rest. George Hill (FD 4600 DK 3400) would become moderately interesting in that scenario. And we aren’t likely to know the status of Malcolm Brogdon (FD 6600 DK 7400) before lineups lock. He is coming very cheap on FanDuel especially, though has been injured a ton. If he were to sit then Keifer Sykes (FD 4200 DK 3600) would make a good punt play on both sites. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $9200 DK - $8900Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 42.18 DK - 45.88 Booker has been amazing this season, especially over the last month or so. Over his last six games, he’s averaging 30.5 points per game while pitching in rebounds and assists along the way. And the scoring is coming even though the shooting...

Point Guard Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $6200Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 33.73 DK - 36.5 With Donovan Mitchell still on the shelf, the Jazz offense will once again be running through Mike Conley. It worked out well last game when he ran 34 minutes (well above his average) and went for 17 points, four assists, and three rebounds against the Rockets. This time around he draws another good matchup against the Pistons who are 23rd in defensive efficiency. Conley sees a usage uptick with Mitchell off the court this season and that is set to maintain here in this game. There is moderate blowout risk, but it’s hard to sweat it all that much with Conley’s pricing in the lower-middle tier. Cory Joseph FD - $4400 DK - $5200Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 26.77 DK - 29.22 With Killian Hayes on the shelf, Cory Joseph stepped into the starting lineup and immediately had an offensive impact for the Pistons. He played 37 minutes against the Kings and Detroit was even able to pull out the win. This is a worse matchup, for sure, against the Jazz but Joseph should be in line for a bunch of minutes again. He ran close to 40 the last time out and finishes with 19 points and nine assists. Both are likely at the high end of expectation, especially because Cade Cunningham was in foul trouble most of the game. But the price hasn’t moved nearly enough here considering the new opportunity. Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $5200 DK - $7400Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 32.19 DK - 35.57 It’s been a struggle for Cade Cunningham in the short term with the first-overall pick failing to crack 30 minutes in the last three games. He had major foul trouble last time out and the shooting has been very up and down over the last month or so. All that’s led to a price drop on FanDuel where he’s sitting at $5200. That’s just too low even in a tougher matchup against the Jazz. I think we can take the risk with the understanding that the Pistons' plan is to play...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $6000 DK - $7500Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 35.07 DK - 39.07 After a day full of hoops on Monday, Tuesday quiets down significantly with only two games on the slate. It’s going to make for some odd decisions especially considering the second game between the Pistons and Warriors has some big-time blowout risk. We really won’t be able to fade that so I think running Cade here under the circumstances is fine. He’s had some up and down performances of late, struggling to keep the scoring consistent, but he has a high enough floor all things considered. On the season, he’s averaging close to 16 points per game along with more than five rebounds and assists each. The scoring can also spike when he’s locked in, but the inconsistency is what keeps the price in check. He’s an easy FanDuel play at only $6K. Stephen Curry FD - $10600 DK - $10600Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 47.6 DK - 52.05 Speaking of trying to fade the blowout, that is going to be an issue on the other side of the ball as well. Steph could easily see his minutes cut late in this game is the Warriors -15 opening line holds true to form. After coming out of the gates running hotter than the Sun, Curry has cooled off some of late, shooting under 30% from three over his last seven games. The Warriors have stumbled some in this stretch as well, losing three of their last five. But they should be able to right things here against a weak Pistons’ team. Patrick Beverley FD - $6400 DK - $5500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 29.89 DK - 31.34 While he isn’t the central point of the offense by any means, Beverley has found a way to get it done from a fantasy perspective this season. That’s because he contributes just enough across the stat line to keep the floor in check with his price. Per 30 minutes he’s averaging more than 10 points, five rebounds and five assists per game while also adding some on the defensive end as well. The...
