Point Guard/Shooting Guard I've taken to just putting these two positions together because there is so much overlap at this point. Dejounte Murray FD - $9600 DK - $10800Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 50.38 DK - 50.14 On this slate, Murray likely has the highest floor of any player. He’s been magnificent this season, averaging 20.3 points, 9.4 assists, and 8.4 rebounds on the season. And this is just the right kind of matchup for Murray in what is definitely a pace-up game for the Spurs. Charlotte is running the league’s fastest pace on the season (102.9) and is playing a bottom-third defense which lands right at the intersection of where we want to find opponents in DFS. The FanDuel price is an especially easy landing spot, though it’s a bit close on DraftKings. LaMelo Ball FD - $8000 DK - $8500Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 41.67 DK - 45.25 Maybe we want to stack the point guards from this game considering it has the highest total (240.5) of the entire five-game slate, beating out the next closest by about seven points. LaMelo is coming off a dreadful game that saw him play only 8 minutes (8!) after getting in foul trouble early and mostly just looking terrible. I’m not going to take all that much away from the game considering the season-long track record, but it is at least a mild concern. I’m hoping that others look at it and are steered away here. The price on both sites is totally palatable and we know he has a solid floor considering how he racks up fantasy points. D'Angelo Russell FD - $7800 DK - $7900Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 42.43 DK - 46.61 Patrick Beverley FD - $4700 DK - $5100Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 29.88 DK - 31.46 There are some injury issues we are going to need to have resolved before locking in lineups for this evening. But we should know most of it before 7PM EST. One of those pieces we need to know about is Anthony Edwards and his status. He sat out Friday and when that’s the case there is usage bumps almost...

NASCAR is now headed to it's fourth different track(including the Coliseum) and as they figure things out track time is going to be key. This is where the biggest change comes in as instead of the 15-minute group practices this week in Las Vegas, teams will all practice together in a 35-minute session before then breaking into two groups for single-car qualifying. Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been on the schedule since 1998 and adopted a second race back in 2018. The track is a 1.5-mile D-shaped oval with 20 degrees of progressive banking and 1st in my quality pass metric when looking at mile and a half tracks. Whether that continues with the new car remains to be seen but Fontana saw its second-most quality passes over the last 10 races there so I am positive we see a good race in Sin City. I have also put together a track position importance research tool for 2022 which pretty much looks at the correlation from starting position to finishing position. Las Vegas ranks #1 when looking at mile and a half tracks and #2 overall in terms of...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard I’m piling the Point Guard and Shooting Guard positions together here because most of these guys overlap with both positions on both sites. That’s just the nature of these things now, and it makes sense from a labeling point of view. Trae Young FD - $9100 DK - $10200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 47.55 DK - 53.01 The Hawks are fighting for their playoff lives right now and are going to need to get everything they can out of Trae Young down this home stretch of the season. He’s been playing huge minutes of late, running 37+ in each of the last four games. And in that stretch, he’s averaging 29 points, 10 assists, and three rebounds. The dude is putting up about 20 shots per game and trying to carry this squad back into the playoff mix. The Hawks are on a back-to-back here which is a moderate concern, but considering their place in the standings (10th in the East) I think they will continue pushing Trae here. The FanDuel price is a pretty easy call, though it does get a little closer on DraftKings. D'Angelo Russell FD - $7800 DK - $7900Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 43.3 DK - 47.16 Patrick Beverley FD - $4700 DK - $5000Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 32.36 DK - 33.53 Anthony Edwards is set to miss another game for the Timberwolves which should send a bunch of usage Russell’s way here against the Thunder. Russell has the second-highest usage rate on the team behind Karl-Anthony Towns this season when Edwards is off the court and should be in line for more ball-handling duties as well. Russell’s assist rate climbs by 5% when he doesn’t share the court with Edwards. I think this becomes a pretty easy play all things considered and I suspect he’s a popular option on both sites. When a higher usage player is out of the mix, the next guys up tend to be excellent values. Similarly, I think we are in a good spot with Beverley here as well. While Edwards isn’t, by any means, a point guard, having him off the court does...

This week on the PGA Tour brings us two events with the Puerto Rico Open and Arnold Palmer Invitational but for this article, we will concentrate on the latter. I will have a sheet up for both events and you can access them on the Chris's Sheets page on the DFSR website. Let's dive into the API! The Course Bay Hill Club & Lodge Par 72 - 7,454 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2021 - Bryson DeChambeau(-11) 2020 - Tyrrell Hatton(-4) 2019 - Francesco Molinari(-12) 2018 - Rory McIlroy(-18) 2017 - Marc Leishman(-11) This week a loaded PGA Tour field heads to Bay Hill Club & Lodge for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The biggest news of the week was the Monday WD from defending champion Bryson DeChambeau who is dealing with a Saudi League conspiracy wrist injury. The good news is that we still get four of the Top 10 and 31 of the Top 50 players in the world including World #1 Jon Rahm making his debut at this event. The field will take on Bay Hill(Par 72 - 7,454 yards) which is one of the toughest tests on tour on ranking inside the Top 10 in terms of difficulty in four of the last five years. Much like last week, most of that difficulty comes from the water in play which forces a strong ball-striking effort if you are looking to make the cut and a near-elite one if you want to top the leaderboard come Sunday. Strokes Gained: Ball Striking is where the majority of my stats model will come from this week. Breaking it down further, I am leaning accuracy over distance off the tee and on the approach I am targeting long iron approach distances with a...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10800 DK - $12000Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 54.13 DK - 59.41 Luka is having some kind of month of February. This guy has been on an absolute tear which is almost kind of an understatement. In the month of February, Luka is averaging 35 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, with the surging Mavericks now 8-2 over their last 10. And one of those included a massive comeback over the Warriors on Sunday. It’s all been gravy for this team who made some solid moves at the deadline. On Tuesday, they’ll get the reeling Lakers who rank 24th on defense and have been all kinds of bad of late. Luka’s price on DraftKings is really pushing it, but you can easily play him on FanDuel. Reggie Jackson FD - $7000 DK - $8200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 40.22 DK - 44.12 The Clippers get the best matchup you can have in DFS NBA against the Rockets on Tuesday and that’s going to land a few of them into cash game consideration for sure. Jackson is close to the top of that list with LA still running him major minutes while they, amazingly, fight to stay at the top of the play-in game seeding. Over the last seven games, Jackson is playing 35 minutes per, and averaging 18.6 points, 8.4 assists, and five rebounds. This is all without the FanDuel price moving all that much. Considering how good of a matchup this is, I think we can easily trot him out there and expect a higher floor return. Shooting Guard Malachi Flynn FD - $3600 DK - $3100Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 24.5 DK - 26.16 This is obviously only if Fred VanVleet were to sit out again on Tuesday. On the front end of the back-to-back, Malachi Flynn got the start for Toronto and was excellent against the Nets. In his 34 minutes, the dude lit it up with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds, and a couple of steals. The price didn’t move at all game-over-game and we now that we know the role, this would make for a pretty easy play....

Point Guard Dejounte Murray FD - $9700 DK - $10700Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 50.35 DK - 53.12 Dejounte Murray is having a truly great season, racking up tons of fantasy points and basically doing everything for the Spurs. He’s coming off a monster 31 point, 14 assist, 13 rebound triple-double against the Wizards in a double-overtime win. Because of that, I’m a little concerned the minutes get dialed back some against the Heat on the back-to-back, but he’s still cheap enough to consider on FanDuel especially. On DraftKings, the price is getting a bit steep. But Murray has such a high floor considering all the ways he’s scoring fantasy points this season. Brandon Goodwin FD - $5400 DK - $4200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 27.25 DK - 27.42 The Cavaliers just can’t catch a break at the point guard position this season. Just about everyone they’ve slotted there has gotten hurt. Darius Garland, Colin Sexton, Ricky Rubio, and now Rajon Rondo have gotten hurt. That’s going to leave Brandon Goodwin here on Saturday to run the offense against the Wizards. He got in there for 24 minutes on Thursday when Rondo went down and he finished with 15 points, five assists, and four rebounds. The price did come up some, but I’m not too worried about it on either site. The DraftKings salary is an easy call. Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $6000 DK - $6200Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 31.04 DK - 35.08 It’s often very tough to recommend bench guys as can plays, especially on larger slates because the minutes can just be too volatile. Herro is one of the few exceptions to that rule considering how the Heat use him this season. The runaway Sixth Man of the Year favorite right now, Herro has consistently stuck in this role almost no matter the Miami injury situations. They are getting healthier now, but he still came off the bench on Friday to drop 25 points on 9-18 shooting in the win over the Knicks. The price is right in the mid-tier, but I’m fine going here against a Spurs team that is below-average on defense while...
