Point Guard / Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10400 DK - $12100Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 55.81 DK - 61.28 Luka got a game off last time out but will be back for this one and he could be set to put up a monster line. Minnesota is playing the fastest pace in the league this season and have been more than willing to get out and run. That should leave plenty of volume for Doncic here which is great news considering the dude can really pile it on. For the season, he is averaging 28 points, nine rebounds, and 8.6 assists, the former two representing career highs. It’s a great spot and Dallas is for sure still fighting for seeding the Western Conference. Beating the Timberwolves here would go a long way to staving off the play-in game on that front. Luka’s price is too low on FanDuel especially. Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 44.26 DK - 48.03 The Jazz have the second-highest implied total on this slate and the game against the Hornets doesn’t project to be a blowout. That’s good news for Mitchell who is coming at a value on both sites. Charlotte is playing the third-fastest pace in the NBA this season with a 23rd-ranked defensive efficiency, having this matchup line up really well from a DFS perspective. Mitchell has put up 36 or more points in three of his last four games, and over the last month is averaging 27 points and six assists. The Jazz are still fighting for seeding here and Mitchell’s minutes should be in the 35-37 range as long as the game stays close. Kris Dunn FD - $1000 DK - $4500Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 30.31 DK - 29.33 Brandon Williams FD - $6500 DK - $6700Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 34.98 DK - 37.1 The Blazers are fully in the tank. We know this for certain and they will be operating in the mode of “lose every game” from here on out. That can make for something of a tricky proposition in daily fantasy because we need to weigh just...

The series now heads to Circuit of the Americas as the NextGen car will be debuted at its first road course race of the season. Last year was COTA's debut in NASCAR and it saw the series' top road course racer, Chase Elliott, take home the checkered flag and the race produced almost double the passing of any of the six road courses used last season. For fantasy, while track position is always important at a road course, we can't ignore the possibility of multiple drivers tallying double-digit place differential and thus pushing into the optimal lineups. At the end of the day, however, it comes down to qualifying which comes right after the 50-minute practice session. Stay tuned to the cheatsheet for updates along with my final targets and rankings in my player pool. Then join me on YouTube channel Sunday morning for my raceday live show at 12:30 pm ET. With all that said, let's now take a look at some early targets based on early-season success, track history, and road course history. Targets Chase Elliott/Kyle Larson It would...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Jordan Poole FD - $7400 DK - $7400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 34.89 DK - 38.44 Klay Thompson FD - $7000 DK - $8100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 39.98 DK - 43.34 With Stephen Curry out for the foreseeable future, the offense is now in the hands of these two guys and they are going to need to carry much of the load moving forward on that end of the court. It didn’t all work out the first game with the Warriors falling to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. But Poole’s usage was great, taking 21 shots in his 36 minutes. He finished with 28 points while also adding five rebounds and three assists. An overwhelming amount of his fantasy production is wrapped up into scoring, so we are going to need him chucking from the rafters. But that should be the case in this game against the Magic. And then there is Klay who actually led the team in shots on Sunday, putting up 23 total and finishing with 24 points, thanks in large part to the 6-12 from beyond the arc. He, like Poole, also needs to score because there wasn’t a ton happening with the peripheral stats. But really it’s tough to pass up the FanDuel price, especially which really hasn’t corrected for enough for the loss of Curry. He is likely to be a very popular play over there at shooting guard. Jrue Holiday FD - $8100 DK - $7800Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 40.03 DK - 42.92 Khris Middleton is going to miss this game which should open up some opportunity in the Bucks’ offense even though Giannis still dominates much of what goes on over there. But we do know that when Middleton is off the court this season, Holiday has the second-highest usage rate at 29%, an 8% increase over what he’s typically done during the season. I think we have a solid opportunity to stack the two main offensive threats from the Bucks here with Jrue coming at something of a value assuming the opportunity increases here. Milwaukee is still playing for seeding here, in a...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $8800 DK - $9600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 58.76 DK - 64.08 We are going to want to stack some of these Mavericks on this slate of games facing off against Charlotte who runs the third-fastest pace and plays a defense ranked in the bottom third of the league. That’s a great spot and Luka makes for a pretty easy spend-up. The Mavericks are coming on the second half of the back-to-back here after losing to the Sixers on Friday, and Doncic definitely struggled. He went 5-20 from the field in the loss. But the Hornets provide a soft landing here considering the potential pace of the game and no clear defensive stopper on their team. Luka is likely to be a chalkier play on the three-gamer. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6100 DK - $6700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 34.32 DK - 37.67 Jalen Brunson FD - $5200 DK - $6300Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 31.92 DK - 34.61 Stacking Mavericks? You bet. I think running the three-guards from this team is totally reasonable considering the way they’ve been playing and the matchup. For starters, Dinwiddie is getting up about 14 shots per game in the short term, and since the trade deadline has averaged right around 19 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Plus, the production has gotten a bit more consistent since he joined the starting lineup on a permanent basis. On a bigger slate, there is almost no way I would consider this, but the shorter ones make for more interesting decisions. And then there’s Brunson whose production has been similar all things considered. He and Dinwiddie are the second and third scoring options on this team by a pretty wide margin over the rest of the group, working to lighten some of the offensive load off of Luka. It’s mostly worked. Are they a bit expensive for their production? Sure, but I think stacking the three against Charlotte provides a nice floor in cash games. Russell Westbrook FD - $6900 DK - $8700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 36.23 DK - 40.46 He’s so cheap on FanDuel that you...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Mike Conley FD - $6400 DK - $5700Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 32.07 DK - 34.62 Jordan Clarkson FD - $5000 DK - $5800Opponent - LACProj Pts FD - 31.78 DK - 35.07 With Donovan Mitchell out on Friday, it sure looks like a bulk of the offense is going to flow these guys’ way. It makes sense considering the construction of the roster currently and what we’ve seen out of these situations in the past. While Clarkson might not get the start if the Jazz decide they will need his offense off the bench, he should still see significant minutes in this matchup. He’s played 32 or more in each of the last three in two of those games up monster scoring lines of 45 points and 26 points respectively. That’s important because an overwhelming amount of his fantasy production relies on putting the ball in the hoop. Meanwhile, Conley has been able to get into the scoring side of things recently after really being on the struggle bus for times this season. He’s averaged 22 points and seven assists this week which is cherrypicked for sure because before that it was looking really bad. He wasn’t hitting threes and really just not looking to get his shot all that often. But the usage definitely climbs with Mitchell off the court this season and we should see the minutes in the low 30s as well considering the situation. And keep an eye out for Nickeil Alexander-Walker (FD 3500 DK 3100) who actually could draw the start here and is coming basically at the minimums. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7600 DK - $7700Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 41.93 DK - 44.78 Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 42.81 DK - 44.54 This is just too good of a matchup to pass up with the Pacers facing off against the Houston Rockets. On the season, the Rockets have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opponents. It was by a wide margin though now the Lakers are starting to give them a run for their money. Regardless, the backcourt duo here...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $10400 DK - $9600Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 47.42 DK - 50.93 Cameron Payne FD - $7000 DK - $7700Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 32.97 DK - 36.08 With Chris Paul out over the last couple of weeks, these two have taken over so much of the Suns' offense and been hitting value along the way. That’s what happens when you remove one of the most on-ball points guards there is from your lineup. Since the All-Star break, Booker has been amazing, averaging 26 points, 8.5 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game while running about 36 minutes in that stretch. He’s been fantastic and has seen the requisite price increase that comes with this kind of opportunity. But against the Pelicans on a shorter slate, I think we are totally fine running him in cash games, especially without a bunch of the big spend-ups going on Tuesday. And then there is Payne who’s been fantastic in his own right. Since he’s taken over the full-time point guard duties with no minutes restrictions, he’s averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game while also taking a bunch of shots. He’s put up almost 15 shots a game in that stretch and is just one of the better middle-tier point guards out there when Paul is out of the mix. I think the FanDuel price is still totally reasonable considering what he is doing in the offense. Tyus Jones FD - $4200 DK - $3400Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 34 DK - 36.08 With Ja Morant doubtful for this game it sure looks like Tyus Jones will be one of the highest owned players on the slate. The last time Ja sat a month ago on February 15th, Jones filled in with 27 points and nine assists in the win over the Pelicans. And when Morant missed extended time back in December, Jones was playing 30+ minutes a game, averaging 11 points, five assists, and three rebounds. That latter line wasn’t as robust because Dillon Brooks was in the mix, which is the case again here. But I still think Jones is the clear play...
