He could be bombing early and often in this game against a Brooklyn Nets team that doesn’t have much in the way of point-of-attack defense and will just be working Ben Simmons back into the mix. Young’s price hasn’t been adjusted enough on FanDuel in particular. Anthony Edwards FD - $8800 DK - $9000Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 44.99 DK - 48.3 The Timberwolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns and that’s led to some big time Anthony Edwards upside in the short-term. Over his last six games (not all with KAT out), Edwards is averaging 27 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals. That’s elite production and the price hasn’t fully caught up on either site. Now, the Timberwolves will be in a game against the Jazz which has the highest over/under on the slate (236.5). It could be an up-and-down affair and that’s good for Edwards when it comes to volume shooting. Monte Morris FD - $5500 DK - $5300Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 30.49 DK - 33.01 The Wizards can definitely be tough to trust when it comes to the minutes and this is a game we are going to want to target some. Bradley Beal remains out and last time around, Monte Morris played 37 minutes in a four-point loss to the Bulls. He took the third-most shots on the team behind Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma and finished with 17 points and eight assists. That kind of production at these prices is an easy cash game call. There are some excellent pay-up options on this short slate but there might not be enough ways to save in order to play more than one of them. Luka makes for about as safe an option as there is averaging 33.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.5 assists on the season. Donovan Mitchell FD - $8800 DK - $8700Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 44.47 DK - 48.18 We are much more inclined to play Donovan Mitchell when Darius Garland is out, there’s still a case to do it here against the Lakers, especially when you consider just how much he’s been running of late. He’s played 37 and 40 minutes over the last two games respectively, putting up 21 and 22 shots in those games. This Lakers team has been above average in defensive efficiency but still runs one of the fastest paces in the league this season. Cleveland has the highest implied total of the slate (not by much, but they do) and are favorites here at home. With Mitchell coming under $9K on both sites, I think the floor is high enough especially considering the Lakers don’t have enough in the way of point of attack defenders to really limit him and Garland. Kyle Lowry FD - $6700 DK - $6700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 32.94 DK - 35.95 The Heat are getting healthier here with the full starting lineup back in action, making Lowry a little less productive from a fantasy perspective. That’s what happens when things get a little more crowded all around. The Heat are coming on the back-to-back after a loss to the Grizzlies on Monday, so there’s some chance we see rest among the core group. Add in the three blocks+steals as well as the six rebounds, and five assists and you have one of the truly elite fantasy plays on a night-to-night basis. On Monday, SGA gets the Hawks in a game with the second-highest over/under of the slate (231.5). It could be a high-scoring affair and the Thunder haven’t been shy about running Shai big minutes in close games this season. Andrew Nembhard FD - $4900 DK - $4200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 30.31 DK - 32.74 Tyrese Haliburton sat out on Sunday and he’ll miss this game as well. The Pacers are major underdogs so we could see a big time blowout at the hands of the Warriors, but it’s still worth playing some of their backcourt in cash. Nembhard took over the point guard duties on against the Blazers and ended up playing 37 minutes in the loss. He finished with 16 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the complete stat line. His price hasn’t climbed nearly enough for this expanded role and I do think the plan is to play him in the high-30s minutes especially if TJ McConnell were to sit again. Bennedict Mathurin FD - $5500 DK - $5400Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 31.31 DK - 34.76 Mathurin is set to come off the bench again for the Pacers, but that hasn’t stopped Rick Carlisle and company from playing the rookie a lot of minutes regardless. He’s averaging 29 minutes a game over the last month and has topped 30 plenty of times. Mathurin is taking more than 13 shots per game in that stretch, and is coming off taking 15 against the Blazers on Sunday. They will need his scoring if they have any hope of hanging with...

It’s meant a very high floor for cash games, especially on FanDuel where the defensive stats can really help things pile up. This is a good matchup against the Magic and I think we can consider him once again. Meanwhile, Shake Milton is coming cheap on DraftKings and was a chalk play there on Wednesday. He ended up playing 39 minutes, scoring 22 points and adding nine assists. The 16 shots were the third-most on the team behind Melton and Tobias Harris. The 76ers is concentrated among these three right now, giving each a pretty high floor in terms of the minutes and the usage. Cameron Payne FD - $6700 DK - $7300Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 38.36 DK - 41.63 He’s a bit too expensive on DraftKings, but the FanDuel price is still very much in the cash game range and the floor has been high for Payne in his time starting for the injured Chris Paul. Over his last seven games, Payne is averaging 19 points and 6.5 rebounds while playing right around 33 minutes per game. Against a very bad Detroit Pistons team, this is a good spot for Payne. But their loss is our DFS gain with these two guards now in prime opportunity to pile on points at value pricing. While both De'Anthony Melton and Shake Milton have seen their salaries jump a bit in the short term, neither is priced where their opportunity is with Philly right now. Last game, Milton played 38 minutes and scored 27 points on 10-15 shooting while also adding six rebounds. Meanwhile, Melton took the most shots on the team with 16 and scored 19 points total. He also added six assists, five rebounds, and five steals. The way he contributes across the stat line gives him a high floor even at these elevated price points. With Tobias Harris back in them for this game, the guard usage could dip just a little, but not enough to warrant a fade with the way the 76ers have been decimated by injury. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8800 DK - $8800Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 42.92 DK - 45.97 De’Aaron Fox is having his best season on the statistics front, scoring 25.5 points per game on 55% shooting, getting better from beyond the arc at 38% on more than five attempts. It’s been a nice boost for the point guard and the Kings have won six of the last seven games he’s played. Now he’ll get the Nets who have, somewhat surprisingly been decent on defense this season, ranked fourth in efficiency at that end of the court. But I like Fox’s DraftKings price at sub-$9K and he’s in a value spot for sure. Mike Conley FD - $5600 DK - $5600Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 30.3 DK - 33.06 The Jazz are having one of the truly surprising seasons we’ve seen considering everyone thought they would be in the tank for Victor Wembanyama from the very start. But they are 9-5 and have looked strong to start the season even with a bunch of new faces. Conley has had some rough shooting games in the short-term, but it’s only served to lower his price on both sites. He’s still averaging 11 points and eight assists on the season with some defensive stats and rebounds thrown in there as well.
