Green has a 28.4% usage rate on the season, but that number climbs to 33.5% with Porter off the court. It’s a “healthy” bump for the second-year guard who isn’t priced like what the opportunity could be here. The Rockets are big (-10.5) underdogs in this game, but the opportunity is there for the guard here and should be able to take advantage. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 46.43 DK - 49.51 The Kings are pretty big favorites here but it’s tough to get away from Fox’s price on the slate considering he’s going up against a team in the Rockets with the third-worst defensive efficiency playing an above average pace. Sacramento has been involved with some blowouts over the last few games, effectively cutting Fox’s minutes, but in close ones it sure seems like the plan is to run him 36-37. That should give him a high enough floor, especially on the FanDuel price which is coming too cheap here. Quarterbacks Justin Herbert FD 7800 DK 6600 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 20.79 DK - 20.79 This wildcard matchup between the Chargers and Jaguars is where I will be focusing most of my exposure on Saturday and it starts with a total(47.5) that is almost a touchdown higher than the 49ers/Seahawks. For Herbert, he checks almost every box and it starts with the matchup against the Jags' defence that ranks 30th in DVOA against the pass and 24th in fantasy points against quarterbacks. While Herbert struggled to hit 3x value over his last four games, he did throw multiple touchdowns in each of the last two games. Herbert has the highest floor and ceiling on this small slate and is our top quarterback in all formats. Brock Purdy FD 7100 DK 5500 Opponent SEA Proj Points FD - 14.49 DK - 14.49 If you are looking to take the value route, especially on DraftKings, Brock Purdy is the cheapest option on the slate, the biggest favourite, and has played terrific down the stretch. Since taking over for the injured Jimmy G in week 13, Purdy thrown for multiple touchdowns in all five games while averaging 18.1 fantasy points per game. He is surrounded by talented playmakers and can easily be double-stacked and his price also allows us to load up on elite running backs on this slate. I will have a ton of exposure to Purdy in all formats. Running Back Austin Ekeler FD 9000 DK 8300 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 19 DK - 21.58 Travis Etienne Jr. FD 7100 DK 6300 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 16.65 DK - 17.83 All three top running backs on this slate are in play and can be stacked together with the value at other positions. Let's start with Austin Ekeler who led all running backs in targets(7.5) and receptions(6.3) per game while also setting career-highs in rushing yards, targets, and receptions(still would have got there on tar/rec with 17 weeks). Things start with a bit of a vacation event as all the winners from 2022 and those who qualified for the Tour Championship will tee it up at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii. The field of 39 players(Rory the only WD) will all play four rounds of golf as this is a no-cut event. While the event name has changed several times, the Plantation Course has hosted the previous year's champions since 1999 and the course has played as one of the easiest on tour with its wide fairways and very large greens. The length of the course definitely affects my model this week as I will be looking at guys who are long off the tee. I will combine that with golfers who have been strong with their irons during the fall season and for those who are a little shorter off the tee, I will be looking at a strong long iron game in their profile. I say this, as it is hard to eliminate anyone from your multi-entry player pool this week with the quality of the field and fact it's a no-cut event. The biggest factor in the winning score and reason for the variance over the years is the weather. Last year it was relatively calm throughout which led to the massive -34 winning score. Looking at the early forecast below, it appears we could see similar weather and another winning score in the mid -20's to low -30's....

The Hornets and Warriors is one of those games, coming in at a 234.5 over/under and setting up to be an up-and-down affair. LaMelo is playing minutes in the 36-37 range each night and has triple-double potential when things break right. Over the last three games, he’s averaging 25 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. And the FanDuel price hasn’t caught up with that level of production. James Harden FD - $9600 DK - $9700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 49.62 DK - 54.39 James Harden has been playing major minutes of late for the 76ers, a welcome sign if we are running him in cash games. He’s played 37 or more in regulation in four of the last five and topped 40 in each of the last two. Those latter numbers probably aren’t going to be the norm, but it’s clear Doc Rivers and company are fine with major run for Harden at this point. He’s two games removed from a 20-point, 21-assists, 11-rebound game against the Clippers and followed it up with a strong Christmas Day showing as well. Chris Paul FD - $8200 DK - $8000Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 41.5 DK - 44.02 Damion Lee FD - $4400 DK - $4400Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 24.47 DK - 27.69 The Suns are, once again, going to be without Devin Booker and now they won’t have Landry Shamet off the bench either. That’s going to, presumably, mean that there are a lot of guard minutes to go around and Chris Paul and Damion Lee should pick up most of that in the backcourt. It’s been somewhat hit or miss for CP3 with Booker out of the mix though in close games the minutes are definitely there. He’s double-doubled in two of the last three games and can get there with points and assists even against a strong Grizzlies...

The 230 over/under is tied for the highest of the slate and the Lakers play a top-10 opposing pace on a day with a lot of slow and defensively-sound teams. Doncic is coming off an insane game against the Rockets that saw him drop 50 points while also adding in 10 assists, and eight rebounds. If we can find some cheap plays elsewhere, Luka has as high a floor as there is in the game. Jalen Brunson FD - $7500 DK - $7300Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 38.88 DK - 41.83 Jalen Brunson is coming off a rougher game against the Bulls when he was also fairly high owned on FanDuel. I do think we are still getting him at a value here even against a tougher matchup against the Sixers. Brunson has a very high minutes floor in close games, having run 38 and 39 in each of the last two games respectively. He’s getting up almost 16 shots a game over the last months and averaging 18 points and six assists in that span. On a slate that might not has a ton of punt play value we might have to operate in the middle tier for cash games. Jordan Poole FD - $7800 DK - $8300Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 37.75 DK - 41.79 The Warriors have been involved in some blowouts of late which has cut down on the starter’s minutes. That could be the case against Memphis here, though the line is currently only -6.5 road favorites here. Poole has seen massive usage with Stephen Curry out of the lineup and has taken an average of 20 shots a game over the last five. Not many players have this kind of green light and it makes his increased price points palatable. Derrick White FD -...

He’s double-doubled in two of the last four games and the three-point shooting has started to round into shape as well. The overall usage can come and go, but this is still a good spot for the Point God. Jalen Brunson FD - $7500 DK - $7100Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 37.84 DK - 40.72 The Knicks were on a bit of a heater until they lost to the Raptors last game. But they walk into a good spot here against the Bulls who play an above-average pace on the season. Brunson has a very high minutes floor if the game breaks right, coming off running 39 minutes in that Toronto game. He’s taken 14 or more shots in each of the last six games and even though he struggled against the Raps, you have to like the usage and assist numbers at these prices. Bradley Beal FD - $8900 DK - $8000Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 40.82 DK - 43.99M This is a slightly tricky spot for Beal. On the one hand, he is in about as good a spot as you would hope, facing off against a Kings team that runs the fifth-fastest pace in the league with a bottom-third defensive efficiency. And there’s a world in which the Wiz are once again playing without Kristaps Porzingis. But Washington is also coming on the back-to-back here which might limit his minutes. I do think we are set to see a price increase on Beal in the short term with the minutes likely ticking up incrementally and this could be a buy-low spot. If Jamal Murray is out again then Bruce Brown (FD 5900 DK 5800) would be an excellent value play. Dorian Finney-Smith is out for...
