Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – The American Express Chris will be bringing you weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings and FanDuel. As every week in DFS PGA changes with the course setup, field of players and weather, Chris will be providing a range of different picks for cash games as well as upside plays for tournaments. The American Express After an exciting Hawaii swing that saw both Justin Thomas(Tournament of Champions) and Cameron Smith(Sony Open) win in a playoff, the PGA Tour heads to La Quinta, California for The American Express. The event has taken on a new sponsor this year and you may be more familiar with one of its many former names(Desert Classic, CareerBuilder Challenge, Humana Challenge, and Bob Hope Classic). With the combination of this being a Pro-Am event and the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on the European Tour, we get a weaker field that includes just 11 of the Top 50 players in the world. With a large amount of players on the course due to the Pro-Am, this event is also a three-course rotation with each player/Amateur getting one round on each course(La Quinta Country Club, Nicklaus Tournament Course, Stadium Course). The cut of Top 65 and ties will be made after Saturday's third round with all players making the cut playing their final round on the host Stadium course. All three courses are Par 72 setups and while all three have consistently ranked outside the Top 30 in difficulty, the Stadium Course is the hardest of the three. Either way, I will be keeping my model fairly simple this week and concentrating more on the approach shots and iron play when breaking down the ball striking metrics and looking for players who excel on the Par 4's, especially from 400-450 yards. Par 5 scoring and overall birdie or better % will be weighted very high as well with an average winning score of -23 over the past five years. With the three-course rotation, we do have some interesting strategies we can employ for both tournament contests as well as the showdown contests. For starters, on the full week contests, I will be looking very closely at players who will be playing the Stadium course on Saturday giving them(if they make the cut) back to back rounds on the harder course which has shown to be advantageous in the past. Also, for Showdown contests try...

We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9200 DK - $8400 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 24.29 DK - 17.92 No better place to start than with one of the hottest teams in the league as the bolts have won nine of their last 10 while ascending to 2nd in the Atlantic division. The offense has been tremendous but a huge reason for the success has been the return to Vezina form for Vasilevskiy who is coming off back to back shutouts and has won eight straight starts while r3cording an elite .946 save %. Tonight, he is in a terrific spot as a -285 home favorite against the Kings who have dropped seven of their last 10 games and also rank 27th offensively on the road. Fire up Vasilevskiy in all formats. Tristan Jarry FD - $8500 DK - $8200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 22.33 DK - 16.92 On Draftkings, I am pretty much locked in on Vasilevskiy as my cash goalie but on FanDuel it is a little closer and I would really consider Jarry here. He has given up three goals in each of his last four starts but has been tremendous for the Penguins lately(8-1-1 with a .925 save % over his last 10 starts) and all season(15-6-1 with a .932 save %). Like Vasilevskiy, Jarry and Penguins are also in a plus matchup tonight as a -190 home favorite against the Wild who have lost five of their last seven games while scoring just one goal in four of them. Jarry can be considered in all formats on FanDuel and is an excellent pivot off Vasilevskiy on DraftKings. CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $8600 DK - $7700 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 22.43 DK - 17.28 The center position is loaded once again and while MacKinnon tops the raw points projections he draws a tough matchup against the Stars #1 rated defense. From a PTS/$ perspective at the top, I am loading up on Leafs and specifically Auston Matthews who has been on...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/9/20

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/9/20 Thursday night brings us a monster 11-game slate that should be chock-full of offense as it includes four games with a 6.5 Vegas total. Let's dig in and take a look at some core plays at each position for FanDuel and DraftKings. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Ben Bishop FD - $8800 DK - $8000 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 20.94 DK - 15.63 The goalie position is a bit tricky as the top goalies are either in below-average matchups, struggling, or on the road so let's start with the one I am most confident in tonight. Bishop is off to another good start with the Stars this season and enters the night with a .926 save % and after two rough starts rebounded in a huge way saving 72 of 76 shots(.947 save %) in back to back wins vs. the Avs and Preds. Tonight he and the Stars are -140 road favorites against a Ducks team that has lost seven of their last 10 games and own the 28th ranked home offense. On FanDuel, he is the second most expensive goalie making the decision very close but on DraftKings he is my favorite PTS/$ goalie as the 10th most expensive option at the position. Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8000 DK - $8400 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 20.17 DK - 14.41 Fleury fits under the category of top goalie who has been struggling as he has allowed four goals in each of his last three starts bringing his save % down to .909 for the season. I am not too concerned here as the Golden Knights are in a great spot as -260 home favorites against a Kings team that has scored two or fewer goals in six of their last eight games while ranking 28th in road offense on the season. I prefer Bishop's price on DraftKings tonight but on FanDuel, I will ride with Fleury at an $800 discount and plus matchup. **Update - Malcolm Subban is starting for the Golden Knights. I won't be using in cash games but he does make a decent GPP pivot.** Also Consider: Andrei Vasilevskiy(TB) or Jaroslav Halak(BOS) as big home favorites CENTERS Mika Zibanejad FD - $7600 DK - $7300 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 20.21 DK - 16.04 This won't be a...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sony Open

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sony Open Chris will be bringing you weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings and FanDuel. As every week in DFS PGA changes with the course setup, field of players and weather, Chris will be providing a range of different picks for cash games as well as upside plays for tournaments. Want more? He also provides a cheatsheet with stats, course history, current form, player write-ups for cash and GPP, a customizable model, and much more. You can get access to the sheet in the member's chatroom. Sony Open After a very exciting start to 2020 with the Tournament of Champions, the PGA Tour now heads to North a bit to Waialae Country Club for the Sony Open and the first full-field event of the year. Overall, the field is on the weaker side with just 15 of the Top 50 players but is headlined by World #4 and former winner of this event, Justin Thomas and joining him is the defending winner, Matt Kuchar. Like it has since the tournament began back in 1965, Waialae Country Club will host this year's event. The course is a 7,044 yard Par 70 setup with four Par 3's, 12 Par 4's, and just two Par 5's. The fairways are smaller than average and with the combination of some doglegs, creates a lot less than driver strategies off the tee. Even with that strategy for most of the golfers, the average fairways hit over the last five years is under 55% which puts some emphasis on Rough Proximity as the average Greens in Regulation hit is still over 70% over the last five years. With the additional Par 4's and less Par 5's on this Par 70 track, I will be focusing on Par 4 scoring and Birdie or Better % with an average winning score around or lower than -20 every single year. The other thing to pay attention to here at Waialae is the weather as it is one of the biggest defenses. As of Tuesday morning, the pre-cut rounds on Thursday and Friday look to be the most brutal with steady winds over 30 mph both days. This has me looking very closely at players who play well in windy conditions and to do this I use the tools over at FantasyNationalGolfClub. With all that info, let's now take a look at the course, top stats, and dig into the picks. Waialae Country Club Par 70 - 7,044 Yards Greens - Bermuda  **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2019 - Matt Kuchar(-22)...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/2/20

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/2/20 Happy New Year hockey fans. After another exciting Winter Classic game yesterday, we are back with a huge 12-game slate on Thursday. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the core plays at each position that we can build around. GOALIE Tristan Jarry FD - $8800 DK - $8500 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 23.29 DK - 17.49 The goalie position is absolutely loaded at the top tonight and I will start with Tristan Jarry who has put the team on his back with injuries Sidney Crosby and now Jake Guentzel. He has tallied a very impressive 8-2 record over his last 10 starts which includes three shutouts and a .939 save %. Even without Sid and Guentzel, the Pens open as -180 favorites tonight going up against a Sharks team that has been on a slide losing 11 of their last 13 games while scoring just 2.3 goals per game. He and Matt Murray have alternated starts in the Pens last four games and if Murray does get the start, I will turn elsewhere in cash games but will have exposure in GPP formats. As for Jarry, if he is in between the pipes on Thursday, he is my favorite goalie in all formats. Antti Raanta FD - $7800 DK - $8300 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 19.46 DK - 14.14 This is more of a play on FanDuel where Raanta comes in under $8K giving him excellent PTS/$ value tonight as a -180 home favorite in one of three games with a low 5.5 total. He will be facing the Ducks who own the 2nd worst record on the season, rank 21st in road offense, and have dropped five of their last seven games. For Raanta, he has worked as the backup behind Darcy Kuemper and while he has been inconsistent he is coming off a 38-save win against the Blues. I will use him as a low-owned GPP play on DraftKings and in all formats on FanDuel. Also Consider: Semyon Varlamov(NYI) in all formats in a top matchup as a -200 favorite against the Devils 29th ranked offense CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8600 DK - $7200 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 20.66 DK - 16.15 Much like the goalie position, center is absolutely...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sentry Tournament of Champions

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sentry Tournament of Champions Chris will be bringing you weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings and FanDuel. As every week in DFS PGA changes with the course setup, field of players and weather, Chris will be providing a range of different picks for cash games as well as upside plays for tournaments. Chris also provides a DFS PGA Cheatsheet which looks at odds, form, course history, and much more. Sentry Tournament of Champions After a long off-season(not really) we are back and ready to kick off the 2020 portion of the season in style. It starts with a trip to Hawaii for the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The field is open to all winners from the previous season and this year we get 33-man field led by Xander Schauffele, Dustin Johnson, and Justin Thomas who have combined to win the last three events here. We will also get to see the red-hot John Rahm who has jumped up to #3 in the Official World Golf Rankings since the Tour Championship with two wins and a runner-up on the Euro Tour. The course is fairly unique in that it is a Par 73 with just three Par 3's, 11 Par 4's, and four Par 5's. The other unique part that leads to some of the low scoring is that six of the 11 Par 4 holes are under 400 yards. The par 5's are where most of the scoring comes from, however, with three of them coming in or under 555 yards. Even the beastly 663-yard par 5 18th hole plays almost a half-stroke under par. The event quickly turns into a birdie fest with wide fairways, huge greens, and normally excellent weather. Because of this, I am keeping my model fairly simple this week and looking at Strokes Gained: Approach with an emphasis on Proximity with the giant green complexes. After that, I am heavy on Birdie or Better %, Par 5 Birdie or Better %, and Par 4 scoring which can help players separate themselves as they are the hardest holes on the course(still not that hard). With that, let's jump into the picks. The Course Plantation Course at Kapalua Par 73 - 7,452 yards Greens - **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2019 - Xander Schauffele(-23) 2018 - Dustin Johnson(-24) 2017 - Justin Thomas(-22) 2016 - Jordan Spieth(-30) 2015 - Patrick reed(-21) Top Stats in the Model Strokes Gained: Approach Proximity Birdie or Better % Par 4 Scoring Par 5 Birdie or Better % When breaking down the top...
