We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6900 DK - $6400 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 36.39 DK - 37.34 Since the Kristaps Porzingis trade, Dennis Smith has had free rein in the New York offense to chuck to his heart’s content. He’s taken 17, 15 and 25 shots respectively in the last three games with varying levels of efficiency. From a DFS perspective, I’m mostly encouraged by his volume and willingness to just chuck over and over. In the last three games, he’s averaging 23 points, seven assists and four rebounds. He gets a great matchup against the Cavs in a tank-off kind of game. Collin Sexton is pretty damn bad on defense, even for a rookie and Smith should see plenty of scoring opportunities here. Collin Sexton FD - $5400 DK - $4900 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 28.45 DK - 30.09 The Cavs are an utter mess right now. A team totally and completely in the tank with a lot of guys injured and other dudes shipped out at the trade deadline. That’s left a void in usage/ minutes/ talent/ everything but also opened up opportunity for Sexton to just do whatever for many minutes a game. Over the last five games, he’s averaging 34 minutes, 19 points, our rebounds and three assists. That basically gets the job done at these prices. The shot volume is the key and he needs to score to hit volume considering the periphery stats aren’t always there. But I’m not all that worried about it considering the current state of the Cavs who will be without Kevin Love once again on Monday. Shooting Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $5800 DK - $5200 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 30.44 DK - 31.67 He’ll still come off the bench for this crappy team, but as one of the few guys on the squad who can...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday 2/8/19

We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Collin Sexton FD - $5000 DK - $4500 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 29.22 DK - 30.9 I mentioned Sexton as an interesting cash game consideration in Tuesday’s picks and it turned out he was one of the plays of the night. The reasoning behind Sexton was the Cavs were playing with limited personnel and they’d been fine running him major minutes. That, combined with a chucker-like usage rate had him as something of a high floor play at his price. He finished with his best game of the season, dropping 27 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Dude threw up 24 shots and we could see more of the same going forward. Cleveland shipped out Alec Burks, are without Cedi Osman again and are barely putting an NBA team on the court. They’ll likely continue giving their rookie PG the reins going forward and if that’s the case then he’s a major bargain. Tyler Johnson FD - $4700 DK - $4300 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 23.31 DK - 23.68 Jerryd Bayless FD - $5300 DK - $5600 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 28.44 DK - 29.73 These are two of the question mark point guards going on Friday and both are reliant on injury news coming our way early. Tyler Johnson was traded to the Suns and will start at the point. The key here is having Devin Booker sit again. If Booker plays, then I’m less intrigued by Johnson. But if Johnson's running the point in this offense, there’s a good chance he plays a ton of minutes if Booker is out and could be a serious buy-low candidate in a totally new scheme. I’m excited to see how this one plays out. Meanwhile, Bayless’s value is contingent on the statuses of Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose. The former was a later scratch on Thursday and has struggled to get back on the court consistently. Rose is also dealing with injury issues, leaving a bulk of the point guard duties to Bayless. He was struggling in the game against the Magic and then left early with a toe injury. Stay tuned to this situation. If he...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday 1/25/19

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Friday 1/25/19 We've got a Friday of NBA action coming your way with ten games on the schedule. Can James Harden continue his historic run for one more game before Chris Paul returns? That's the biggest question at his peak pricing.  That plus much more on a packed slate of basketball for FanDuel and DraftKings. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Elie Okobo FD - $3600 DK - $3000 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 22.74 DK - 22.84 De'Anthony Melton went down with what looked to be a not-insignificant ankle injury on Thursday against the Blazers and I very much doubt he plays on Friday. That should open up plenty of minutes for Okobo who played 28 against Portland and finished with 12 points and seven rebounds. There’s not going to be a lot of usage for this role in the Suns’ offense with Devin Booker controlling so much of the point of action, but Okobo is coming cheap enough to roll as a punt play if Melton is ruled out. Patrick Beverley FD - $4800 DK - $4800 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 25.39 DK - 26.14 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $4300 DK - $4300 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 25.84 DK - 25.61 Even with Lou Williams back off the bench, the Clippers still kept big minutes for their guards with Danilo Gallinari out of the starting lineup. They are rolling these two guys at the 1-2 with Avery Bradley shifting to the three in the lineup. What you are looking for out of SGA and Beverley at these price points is the ability to stack on stats across the box score. Neither does any, one thing all that well, but both can hit value simply by the number of minutes they’ve been running in the short term. They get a good matchup against a Bulls’ team that’s a total mess right now, playing a bottom third defense in the league. The Timberwolves’ point guard situation is in flux right now. If Jeff Teague were to sit again, then Derrick Rose would be right back in play on Friday. Teague was ruled out very early on Thursday which could mean he’s some time from being able to return. That being said, Rose is questionable after leaving...
