We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $9900 DK - $8400 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 51.61 DK - 53.13 The Sixers are coming off a tough loss to the Warriors on Sunday, a game they could have (probably should have) won at home. They’ll be without Joel Embiid for the fifth-straight game (though he does seem close to returning) and will again rely heavily on Simmons to play major minutes. In Embiid’s absence, Simmons is averaging 38 minutes per game and a 20 point, 11 rebound, eight assist average along with 1.4 steals. The extended run is worth the price of admission on these prices and he gets a much easier matchup against the Magic who have big-time matchup issues with Simmons’ versatility. The price is on the climb of course, but I’m still happy to roster him in cash games without Embiid. Stephen Curry FD - $9400 DK - $9000 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 48.5 DK - 51.73 Even with Klay Thompson’s status up in the air, I think I’d be fine playing Curry one way or the other against the Celtics. This is a tougher slate of games with a lot of good defenses and the value could be a little harder to come by especially if most of these teams come in fully healthy (except for the Sixers). Steph has really struggled shooting over the last week or so, going a combined 18-60 (30%) from three over his last four games. That’s pretty much the worst run of shooting for the season. It’s kept his price in a manageable spot on both sites and I think we could see another run of solid minutes in what should be a closer game. Not to invoke the gambler’s fallacy, but it does sure seem like Steph is *due*. If Paul George is out...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday 3/4/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday 3/4/19 On Monday, the Lakers and Clippers face off in one of the more interesting games of the season. Not only is there a ton of DFS relevance, but it's also a fight for the playoffs in the Western Conference. Let's take a look at some plays from that game, plus other value for FanDuel and DraftKings. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Rajon Rondo FD - $6100 DK - $5500 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 33.23 DK - 34.47 The Lakers are basically at Death’s doorstep right now in a borderline (at worst) must-win game on Monday. The game against the Clippers is of the highest leverage if LA has really any shot to make the playoffs. A loss to the Clippers would mean LAC had the tiebreak in the Western Conference last playoff spot. Rondo has started the last couple of games and *should* stick with that group again on Monday. He was awful in the game against the Suns, going 1-10 from the field and playing only 26 minutes. Look for a bounce-back game and a return of steadier minutes in this one. He’s only a game removed from a near-triple double against the Bucks on Friday. The Clippers guards won't expose him too much on defense and this is a spot for him to stay on the court. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $4300 DK - $3900 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 20.88 DK - 20.57 Landry Shamet FD - $4600 DK - $4000 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 20.18 DK - 21.22 The minutes’ leash has been a little longer for SGA over the last two games with the rookie playing 32 and 29 respectively. His biggest issue, from a fantasy perspective, is that the run is just so variable. He can see 17 minutes just as easy as playing 30. But he’s had double-digit scoring nights in each of the last three following a horrendous 0/2/0/0/2 (steals) line against the Mavericks last Monday. He should be able to match up well with a stumbling Lakers’ squad though, in this game and my only concern is Gilgeous-Alexander does tend to see a few more minutes in blowouts. That might not be...

DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the podcast discussing a Thursday slate of NBA action for FanDuel and DraftKings. The guys return from the All-Star Break ready to talk hoops and they start off with the news that Joel Embiid will miss the next week with a knee injury. That makes the Sixers’ remaining players all cash game viable and possibly chalk players across the board. Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler especially are good plays. We’ll see about Boban Marjanovic and whether or not he joins the starting lineup. They break down every game on the slate, finding value beyond just the Philly guys. Could this be a box minutes game for Giannis Antetokounmpo against the Celtics in an Eastern Conference leverage game? Do the Lakers need to just run Lebron James out for 40+ minutes a night now in a fight for the playoffs? What to make of James Harden’s drop off in assists? FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday 2/21/19

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday 2/21/19 And just like that, we’re back from the All-Star break. It was a nice mini-week off but it's good to be back in the basketball fold. We've got six games on the slate with the big news coming early when the Sixers ruled out Joel Embiid for the next week or so. Let's take a look at some of the FanDuel and DraftKings value picks. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $8700 DK - $7900 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 49.25 DK - 49.35 With the news that Joel Embiid will miss at least a week with knee soreness meaning we are getting the rest of the Sixers at relative discounts coming out of the All-Star Break. Simmons should see an immediate minutes upgrade with the Sixers now playing short a man and he gets about a 4% usage rate this season when Embiid is off the court. Dude has had some up and down fantasy performances with Philly getting even deeper talent-wise after the Tobias Harris trade. But it’s only brought the prices down across the board and I suspect we see this team as heavy chalk on the Thursday slate. Stephen Curry FD - $9500 DK - $9000 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 45.71 DK - 48.52 The Warriors come into Thursday’s game as their customary double-digit favorites against the Kings. At this point, the standard is for Curry to play about 36 minutes in close games. His shooting has *tailed off* over the short term, knocking down only 37% of his threes in the last six games. This is after shooting 46% from beyond the arc during the month of January. It was unlikely for him to sustain that kind of accuracy, but he should settle back into around the 44% range he’s shot over his career. The dip in threes has also meant the pricing coming down a little and we are getting him at a discount on this slate. Collin Sexton FD - $5500 DK - $4900 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 27.23 DK - 28.89 Sexton, from a DFS perspective, is kind of the perfect guy for the Cavaliers. He doesn’t really increase their...
