AAA Texas 500 Martin Truex Jr. stayed red-hot in the Playoffs as he dominated(464 laps led) at Martinsville last weekend punching his ticket to Homestead with a shot at a second championship. This takes all the pressure off over the last two races in this round starting with a return trip to Texas this weekend for the AAA Texas 500. Outside Truex, no driver is safe with Denny Hamlin(+24), Kyle Busch(+17), and Joey Logano(+14) sitting on the plus side of the cutline with Kevin Harvick(-14), Ryan Blaney(-15), Kyle Larson(-24), and Chase Elliott(-44) with some ground to make up in the final two races. This is not only the second trip to Texas in 2019 but also the sixth race here since the re-design that started in early 2017. Turns 1 & 2 were reduced from 24 to 20 degrees of banking and widened from 60 to 80 feet making both ends of the track unique and making the job of the crew chief a little more challenging. As with all intermediate tracks, dominator points will be big with multiple drivers leading 50+ laps in each of the last six races here and one driver leading 100+ in five of the last six. Looking at those drivers who led 100 or more laps(5), two of them ended up winning and another two ended up second in those races. Let's now look at some track history, track type history, current form and then dig into the picks. Texas Motor Speedway - Fort Worth, TX Track - 1.5 Mile Quad-Oval Intermediate 20° of Banking in Turns 1 & 2 24° of Banking in Turn 3 & 4 Last Six Winners at Texas 2019(1) - Denny Hamlin(started 6th) 2018(2) - Kevin Harvick(started 3rd) 2018(1) - Kyle Busch(started 8th) 2017(2) - Kevin Harvick(started 3rd) 2017(1) - Jimmie Johnson(started 24th) 2016(2) - Carl Edwards(started 9th) Track History at Texas I mentioned above that Texas re-configured the track back in 2017 so I am going to have a closer look...

GOALIE Jordan Binnington FD - $8100 DK - $8400 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 17.41 DK - 13.81 Binnington is starting to heat up as the calendar flips to November as he enters this game having allowed two or fewer goals against in four of his last five starts bringing his save % up to .918 for the season. He and the Blues are at home tonight as big -175 favorites in a plus matchup against the Blue Jackets who have struggled offensively scoring just 2.6 goals per game(25th). With the Jackets averaging over 32 shots per game and the Blues allowing just over 30 per game this gives Binnington a high floor and ceiling making him easily my top goalie in all formats. Petr Mrazek FD - $7500 DK - $8000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 17.07 DK - 13.35 Home goalies are the theme tonight and up next is Petr Mrazek who has been terrific to start the season going 6-1-1 with a .917 save % and two shutouts. He has one of the deepest defensive corps in the league in front of him which does limit the shots he faces but he and the Canes get a terrific matchup as huge -260 favorites against the Red Wings who have dropped eight of their last nine games and rank 28th in offense(2.3 goals per game). Like I said above, Binnington is my top guy tonight but if you need the savings Mrazek is also a great play in all formats. Also Consider: Jacob Markstrom(VAN) CENTERS Bo Horvat FD - $6100 DK - $6800 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 13.61 DK - 10.82 The Canucks rebuild is blossoming nicely and they are off to a great start to the season sitting near the top of the conference with an 8-3-1 record. One of the major contributors has been Bo Horvat who leads all Canucks forwards in ice-time(19.1...

WGC HSBC Championship The Asian Swing comes to a close this week as the PGA Tour heads to Sheshan International Golf Club for WGC HSBC Champions event. This is another smaller field, no-cut event where all golfers will play four rounds and we are gifted with another strong field highlighted by Rory McIlroy(#2), Justin Rose(#8), and Xander Scauffele(#9) who are all inside the Top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings. The course is a Par 72 that is listed at 7,261 yards and while that is average for distance, the setup is unique and can play much longer. For instance, all four Par 3's are 200 yards or more yards and five of the 10 Par 4's are over 450 yards. While the fairways are narrow and have generated a low 52% driving accuracy over the last six years, distance is definitely an advantage as the rough has not been very penal. This doesn't mean short players can't have success here just make sure they are on with their long irons. The course has ranked 3rd, 13th, and 25th hardest in terms of average scoring over the last three years but golfers will need a ton of birdies to hoist the trophy with an average winning score of -18 over the last six years. There has also been at least five golfers(11 in 2016) with 20+ birdies in four straight events here. With that, let's get into the picks. The Course Sheshan International Golf Club - Shanghai, China Par 72 - 7,261 yards Greens - Bentgrass **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Winners 2018 - Xander Schauffele(-14) 2017 - Justin Rose(-14) 2016 - Hideki Matsuyama(-23) 2015 - Russell Knox(-20) 2014 - Bubba Watson(-11) 2013 - Dustin Johnson(-24) Top Stats in the Model Strokes Gained: Approach Strokes Gained: Off the Tee w/ emphasis on distance...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/29/19
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/29/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Tuukka Rask FD - $9000 DK - $8400 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 16.54 DK - 13.02 The Bruins are off to a red-hot start on the back of a Top 10 offense and a league-leading defense that is allowing just 2.1 goals per game despite an overall lack of depth on defense. More than making up for that, however, has been the play of Tuukka Rask who leads the league with an elite .952 save % and he has also tallied a shutout in two of his last four starts. He now faces a Sharks team that has dropped two straight on the road scoring just three total goals and they rank outside the Top 20 in offense on the season scoring just 2.6 goals per game. All things considered, Rask is my top goalie in all formats. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $7600 DK - $7700 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 18.04 DK - 13.48 From a PTS/$ perspective, Hellebuyck has been a near-elite fantasy option early in the season. He comes in under $8K on both sites and while the wins(5-4) have been hard to come by with an inconsistent offense in front of him, he has been terrific with a .933 save %(6th best in league) while facing 33 shots per game. It is that volume that gives him both a high floor and ceiling and he now gets a plus matchup as well against a Ducks team that ranks bottom five in the league in scoring to start the year. I don't think we need to go here in cash games but at these prices, he makes a great GPP play that not only gives us upside but also a lot of savings to help jam in a top team stack. Also Consider: Andrei Vasilevskiy(TB) as a big -190 favorite against a Rangers team that has lost six of their last seven games scoring two or fewer goals five times CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $7500 DK - $7600 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 17.79 DK - 12.46 The Bruins...

First time with MLB? Be sure to read our free MLB Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. First Data 500 The Playoffs are winding down as the Monster Energy Cup Series head to Martinsville Speedway to begin the Round of 8. Eight drivers remain in the running for the Championship Trophy with Kyle Busch still on top of the standings with the Playoff points he earned during the regular season but that gap has shrunk as teammates Martin Truex Jr.(-4) and Denny Hamlin(-9) sit 2nd and 3rd right behind him. Rounding out the Top 8 drivers in standings are Joey Logano(-16), Kevin Harvick(-18), Chase Elliott(-22), Kyle Larson(-35), and Ryan Blaney(-37). From a fantasy perspective, this race is 500 laps in length putting dominator points right at the top of my wish list this week. Brad Keselowski absolutely dominated here in the Spring leading 446 of the 500 laps but there have been two or more drivers to lead 100+ laps in the previous five races. As it always is, place differential value is hard to judge before qualifying and this week we have another wrench thrown in as qualifying will be Saturday afternoon but the lineup will not be official until after inspection on Sunday morning. Stay tuned as my cheatsheet will be updated following that inspection. Let's take a look at the track and then some core plays for DraftKings and FanDuel. Martinsville Speedway - Martinsville, VA Track - .526 Mile Oval Short Track 12° of Banking Last Six Winners at Martinsville 2019(1) - Brad Keselowski(started 3rd) 2018(2) - Joey Logano(started 10th) 2018(1) - Clint Bowyer(started 9th) 2017(2) - Kyle Busch(started 14th) 2017(1) - Brad Keselowski(started 4th) 2016(2) - Jimmie Johnson(started 3rd) Track History at Martinsville Brad Keselowski returns to Martinsville after dominating the Spring race leading 446 laps. It was his second career win at the track and he has also picked up a Top 10 in nine straight and 12 of his last 15 trips to the track. No driver has been as consistent as Kyle Busch at the paperclip as he returns with Top 5's in...
