Check out the recap below. It was another extremely tough week as the wind howled pretty much the whole time. Only 13 players finished the tournament under Par. Rickie Fowler had a terrific start to the tournament going Bogey Free both days but fell apart somewhat on the weekend shooting 74/71 to finish -3 in a tie for sixth. This weekend will not get any easier on the 67 players heading to Trump National Doral in Miami. Let's dig in. This week the PGA Tour will welcome the first WGC event of the season in North America. The Cadillac Championship is back at Trump National Doral(Blue Monster). The course has been open for play since 1962 and joined the WGC cycle back in 2007. Donald Trump purchased the property in 2012 and set forth a $200 million renovation. The course was considered a tough test before the reno with the Florida winds giving the course a nice defense. Trump, however, didn't feel the defense was up to snuff so he made it harder. A lot harder! He added strategic bunkers in the fairway, rough and littered around the greens. He added water hazards. He made the greens more undulating and tougher to putt on, and lengthened the Bermuda rough. And if that didn't take the stroke average down the length he added surely will. The beast of a course is now over 7500 yards in length. For a terrific breakdown of every hole with awesome flyovers click HERE. This week's #1 stat that I will be looking at will be Driving Distance. Since the renovation bombers have ruled the course. Last year the Top 4 were all inside the Top 5 in Driving Distance at the end of the year rankings. Not to say that shorter hitters can't succeed here because...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups The Honda Classic PGA National (Champion Course) Par 70 - 7,140 Yards The Northern Trust Open just wrapped up with Bubba Watson taking down his third title here at Riviera in three years. It was a terrific Sunday that saw multiple players with a chance on the closing nine holes. Bubba ended up with a birdie on two of his final three holes to pick up the one shot victory over Jason Kokrak and Adam Scott. Check out the Sunday recap below from PGATour.com. The PGA Tour will now leave the state of California and head East to Florida for a four week stretch of tournaments in the Sunshine State. First up on the Florida swing will be the Honda Classic held at the PGA National (Champions Course). This 7,158 yard Par 70 golf course is very tough test for the players. It is always rated as one of the toughest courses on tour and is known most for the famous "Bear Trap" which consists of the 179 yard Par 3 15th hole, the 434 yard Par 4 16th hole and the 190 yard Par 3 17th hole. While these may not feel like tough holes. Take a look at this preview: There will be bogeys made in this stretch of holes and the key is to limit the damage and not put up a big number. The entire course is protected by water forcing players to be extremely accurate off the tee. There are many times a player will have to lay up off the tee with a 3 Wood or less to ensure a decent lie for their second shot or to avoid possible trouble in the bunkers or water. For this reason I am weighting Driving Accuracy quite a bit ahead of Distance this week. Also, due to the laying up we will also want to look for players who are accurate from 150-175 and especially from 175-200 yards as there will be a ton of approaches from these distances. With the average greens in regulation lower than usual players will...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, FantasyFeud and FantasyAces – Northern Trust Open

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Northern Trust Open Riviera Country Club - Pacific Palisades, CA Par 71 - 7,349 Yards It was another incredible finish on the PGA Tour yesterday at the Pebble Beach Pro Am. Vaughn Taylor, playing without a tour card as the first alternate, shot a final round 65(-7) to edge out Phil Mickelson who missed the playoff forcing 5 footer on the famous 18th hole. It was Taylor's third career victory and first since 2005. He will now be playing in this weeks Northern Trust Open and more notably the Masters in April. On to next week. The PGA Tour will stay in the Golden State this week for the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club. The famous course nicknamed "Hogan's Alley" after Ben Hogan's incredible run in 1948. He won both the LA Open and US Open here at Riviera and also picked up the win the year prior at the LA Open. The tournament has changed names over the years but has been a staple here at Riviera since 1926. The course has been voted by the players as "Best Course on Tour" - Golf.com, 2015. It is a challenging course that forces players to hit every club and almost every shot imaginable. The fairways are very tough to hit as they are really narrow taking Driving Accuracy, for the most part, out of the equation. We will want to target some bombers this week as only the guys over 300 yards off the tee will have a shot at hitting the final two Par 5's in two. Speaking of Par 5's, there are only 3 on this course but when looking at the scores of the players at the top of the leaderboard you will notice Par 5 Scoring has a huge impact on a players final score. The greens are smaller than average so we will be concentrating more on Proximity from 125-150 and 150-175 this week over Greens in Regulation. These are again Poa Annua greens so finding players who do well on this type of grass...

Matsuyama and Fowler went into the 18th hole tied at -13, both nailed the fairway and both hit the green in regulation. Matsuyama stepped up and sank a 17 footer for Birdie puting the pressure on 3 time PGA Tour winner, Rickie Fowler. Like he has so many times in the past couple years when faced with pressure, he drained it forcing a playoff. The two golfers then went toe to toe matching each other shot for shot for four holes until finally Fowler made a mistake and carded a Bogey on the 17th hole(4th playoff hole). It was another fantastic golf weekend in Arizona with attendance records being broken yet again. We get to do it all over again in about 361 days. This week the PGA Tour travels to Pebble Beach, California for the annual AT&T Pebble Bach pro Am. This week will be the final PGA Tournament of the year where there will be a multi course rotation. Thank god! At least this week the courses are fairly similar in which the stats carry over from course to course. The courses being used are Pebble Beach golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Club and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. The true test on these courses will be the weather conditions. Scores have ranged over the years from -10 (Shane Lowry - 2008) to -22 (Snedekers win last year). So far the forecast is showing moderate winds for Thursday and Friday with the worst day being Saturday where winds could reach will range from 10-15 mph. You can check out the complete forecast here. Be sure to check the updated forecast prior to lineup lock on Thursday(6:30 am ET). When looking for specific stats to target this week...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Waste Management Phoenix Open TPC Scottsdale - Scottsdale, Arizona Par 71 - 7,266 Yards It took a Monday finish for the Farmers Insurance Open to finish due to horrible weather conditions that affected "almost" everyone in the field. There were two separate stoppages on Sunday due to rain and extreme winds but that didn't affect Brandt Snedeker. He went into Sunday trailing the leader and many other players but quickly shot up the leaderboard as he was the only player under par for the day. To be exact he was -3 on Sunday shooting an incredible 69 when the field average was around 78 for the day. He finished his round 1 back of Jimmy Walker before play was suspended. The tournament finished up on Monday and saw Jimmy Walker and KJ Choi struggle allowing Snedeker to snatch the win without having to step onto the course Monday. The players will now take a short trip East for this week's tournament in Arizona. We are back at the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course for what is expected to be another entertaining Waste Management Phoenix Open. Most famous for its Par 3, 16th hole built inside a 20,000 seat stadium atmosphere. It is by far the loudest hole in golf and pushes players to be perfect or face the crowd. Hit the green and birdie, the crowd will go nuts. Miss the green or worse yet three putt, and the crowd will boo louder than you have ever heard. You will see things on this hole you will not see on any other course during a professional event. From Padraig Harrington kicking field goals to James Hahn roweling up the crowd pre putt and even a Gangnam Style dance following a birdie putt. The tournament set an attendance record last year with 564,368 entering the gates Monday through Sunday. On a daily basis the 16th hole alone will see 20,000+ fans. Mark my words. I will be reporting from this tournament LIVE next year. The TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course is a 7,266 yard, Par 71 setup. For the second...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Farmers Insurance Open Torrey Pines Golf Club - La Jolla, California South Course Par 72 - 7,698 Yards North Course Par 72 - 7,052 Yards The CareerBuilder Challenge closed out on Sunday afternoon with Jason Dufner beating David Lingmerth on the second playoff hole. Both golfers finished the regulation 72 holes at -25, four shots clear of the next group of golfers. It was a very impressive performance by both golfers as they combined for only eight Bogeys(Dufner-5, Lingmerth-3) throughout the entire tournament. The other big story of the weekend was the return of Phil Mickelson. His off season work on his game has already paid off in his first start as he finished in a tie for 3rd at the CareerBuilder Challenge. He played his final two rounds on the extremely tough TPC Stadium Course and went -10 going Bogey Free Saturday/Sunday. A great sign for golf to see Phil back on the Sunday leaderboard. He will be back at it this week at Torrey Pines. The PGA Tour stays in California this week and heads to Torrey Pines Golf Club for the Farmers Insurance Open. Like last week this will be another multi course rotation with both Torrey Pines South and Torrey Pines North courses being used. The cut will take place on Friday with the top 70 players and ties moving on to the weekend. Only the South Course will be used on Saturday and Sunday. One thing to note about the two courses is that the North Course plays as one of the easiest on tour while the South Course plays as one of the hardest. If you are playing on Yahoo be sure to set your lineups accordingly. At a behemoth 7,698 yards and being used in three of the four rounds, the #1 stat this week is going to be Driving Distance. The long hitters can more than make up for being in the rough when they are 20-50 yards farther down the fairway. Two of the other really important featured stats this week...
