Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups RBC Heritage Harbour Town Golf Links - Hilton Head, SC Par 71 - 7,101 Yards It was Danny Willett getting fitted for the Green Jacket late Sunday afternoon as he closed with an impressive 67 to win the Masters. It was an incredible turn of events on the back nine that saw Jordan Spieth collapse on the 12th hole while holding a five stroke lead. After making four straight Birdies to close out the front nine, Speith went Bogey, Bogey, Quadruple Bogey to fall into third at one under par. He fought back the best he could with birdies in two of his next three holes but bogeyed the 17th hole and pared the 18th. As a spectator it clearly looked like the most painful part of the whole afternoon was being the one to place the Green Jackets on Willett's back. I do believe that this experience will only make him stronger going forward. After all he is only 22 years old with a plenty of time for more Green Jackets. On to next week. This week the Tour travels to Hilton Head, South Carolina for the 2016 RBC Heritage. The Course? None other than the Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus designed Harbour Town Golf Links. One of the shortest on Tour but that doesn't make it less challenging. The course is setup with very narrow fairways which call for strategically placed tee shots if you want to have a shot at the green and birdies. For this reason I will be placing a lot of emphasis on Driving Accuracy and Good Driver Percentage. The greens are smaller than average so not only will be looking Greens in Regulation but more importantly Proximity to the hole. As the course is a Par 71 setup with 11 Par 4's we will also weigh Par 4 Scoring Average highly as well. As always I will weigh Strokes Gained Tee to Green and Putting highly as well. Below are the main stats I am weighting on the cheatsheet this week. Up to 10 PGA Tour stats are used each week. The cheatsheet also provides last...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, FantasyFeud and FantasyAces – The Masters

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups The Masters Augusta National Golf Club - Augusta, GA Par 72 - 7,435 Yards "Hello Friends" The time has finally come. We have waited a entire year to hear those iconic words from Jim Nantz. It's Masters week! The biggest tournament in golf at the most beautiful golf course on the planet. Before I get into the course and specifics for daily fantasy I want to share this video from Golf Digest that should send chills up your spine and get your head in the game! If that doesn't get you excited for what is about to take place starting Thursday then I don't know what will. Ok let's take a closer look at the course and some key stats that we will be using in our DFS model this week. Augusta National Golf Club is a 7,435 Yard Par 72 that will test even the best golfers in the world. The first thing to look at this week is going to be Driving Distance. Looking at the Par 5's, both Hole 13 (510 Yards) and Hole 15 (530 Yards) should be reachable for everyone but Hole 2 (575 Yards) and Hole 8 (570 Yards) are monsters and will only be reachable by the longest hitters in the field. The Par 4 holes are a mirror of how the Par 5's are set up front nine to back nine. The Front 9 holes are all under 460 yards including the short 350 Yard, Hole #3. The shorter hitters should have no issues with the length of these holes as their approach shots should fall between 150-200 yards depending on the golfer. The Back 9 is a different story. While there are three holes ranging from 440 Yards to 465 Yards, there are two behemoths in the 10th and 11th holes. The 10th is a 495 Yard monster followed by the 505 Yard 11th hole. Pretty much every short hitter is going to have 200+ Yards into the green on their second shot. The take away from all this? Target long hitters and if you are going to mix in a few...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Shell Houston Open Golf Club of Houston - Humble, TX Par 72 - 7,441 Yards If you were able to sneak away from family on Sunday you were treated to some fantastic golf. Jason Day took over the World #1 by winning the Dell Match Play on Sunday. He beat Rory McIlroy 1 up in the semi finals then beat Louis Oosthuisen in convincing fashion, 5 & 4 to take home the hardware. He fought back pain all week and nearly withdrew before the tournament even started. Nothing new for Day who has won while fighting pain and adversity many times in the past. He has now won back to back weeks(last weeks Arnold Palmer Invitational Champion) and has six wins in his last 13 worldwide starts. It was also his second Match Play Championship in three years. The Puerto Rico Open was also going on last weekend and was the featured tournament on this site, only because it was the tournament DraftKings was running for daily fantasy. It is because of DFS that I would even consider following this tournament. Thank god for DFS because we were treated to another great finish this Sunday. Tony Finau broke through for his first PGA Tour win after a playoff victory against Steve Marino. He had a chance to close it out on the 18th hole in regulation but missed a 6 footer which forced the playoff. He kept his composure, pushing the playoff to a third hole where he made a terrific bunker shot to set up the birdie that would crown him the champion. Check out the recap from PGATour.com below:   This week the PGA Tour heads to Humble, Texas for the 2016 Shell Houston Open. It is the last tournament before the Masters but we still have a pretty good field of players which includes 12 of the Top 25 players in the world. The Golf Club of Houston is a Par 72, Rees Jones design, that stretches 7,441 yards. The winning score has been -15 or -16 in each of the last...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, FantasyFeud and FantasyAces – Puerto Rico Open

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Puerto Rico Open Coco Beach Golf & Country Club - Rio Grande, PUR Par 72 - 7,506 Yards It was Jason Day's tournament to win from the get go last weekend as he lead wire to wire at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. His 5th win in his last 12 starts definitely didn't come easy on Sunday as the top of the leaderboard was crowded for most of the day. Troy Merritt, paired with Day, was up and down all day but finished three strokes back in a tie for 3rd with Henrik Stenson who also couldn't quite get it together on Sunday. The closest anyone came to beating Day was Kevin Chappell who held the lead a few times throughout Sunday but ultimately fell on the 18th hole making a bogey. Check out the highlights from the final round below.   This week the players who did not qualify for the WGC-Dell Match Play will head to Rio Grande for the 2016 Puerto Rico Open. I want to make it clear that I am not, in any way, excited about this week's DFS event. All the top players are competing for the Match Play Championship leaving us with an ugly looking field in Puerto Rico. Nevertheless though, we will break it down and provide our top picks. Almost all of my exposure this week will be in GPP formats as there is really no such thing as safety in this field. On to the course. Coco Beach Golf & CC is a Par 72, Tom Kite design that stretches 7,506 yards through the foothills of the El Yunque Rainforest. The course was re configured into two 18 hole courses in 2007 and joined the PGA Tour rotation in 2008. The biggest defense on the course is the wind and it reeked havoc last year. The winning score carded by Alex Cejka was -7 and was the lowest since 2008 where Greg Kraft won with a score of -13. Early reports I have found on multiple weather sites shows winds of 10+ MPH each day with gusts around...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, FantasyFeud and FantasyAces – Arnold Palmer Invitational

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Arnold Palmer Invitational Bay Hill Club & Lodge - Orlando, FL Par 72 - 7,419 Yards For the third straight week the players faced a difficult course and again faced difficult conditions at the Copperhead course. The winds kept the scored in single digits again and Charl Schwartzel was able to beat out Bill Haas on the first playoff hole to pick up the win. Charl shot a four under 67 on Sunday(lead the field) to force the playoff and was consistent throughout the weekend. There were a ton of storylines this week. Jordan Spieth struggled Thursday shooting a 76 but battled back Friday to make the cut and get somewhat into contention before shooting a two over 73 on Sunday to finish T18. Graham DeLaet, playing in the final group with Haas on Sunday, couldn't make good on his prediction of getting his first win but it won't be long before he gets some hardware on the PGA Tour. The biggest surprise and best story, in my opinion, was the outstanding play of amateur Lee McCoy. The 22 year old college student shot a 3 over 74 on Thursday and continually got better heading into the weekend shooting a even par 71 on Friday to make the cut then an incredible 5 under 66 on Saturday. He finished the tournament strong with a 2 under 69 to pick up a solo 4th place finish. The future is bright for this young man. If you enjoy the video recap from PGAtour.com here it is: This week the PGA Tour continues the Florida swing with the fourth straight tournament in the sunshine state. This week the players travel to Orlando for the 2016 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The course is a Par 72 that stretches 7,419 Yards in length and with a ton of sand protecting the greens and strategically placed on the fairways to force players to decide. Go long and try and carry the bunkers or lay up and take a longer approach into the green. Most players, at least...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, FantasyFeud and FantasyAces – Valspar Championship

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Valspar Championship Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead) -Palm Harbor, FL Par 71 - 7,340 Yards The WGC Cadillac Championship ended yesterday afternoon with Adam Scott picking up the win and becoming the first player with multiple wins this year. The win didn't come without some hold your breath moments in the final round. Check out his 18th hole yesterday:   When things are going your way, things are going your way. How that ball stopped on the bank is beyond me. Then he follows it up with a crazy stance flop shot and clutch 6 footer for the win. I would say Adam Scott is back and primed for another run at a Masters Green Jacket in four weeks. This week the players head to the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Country Club for the 2016 Valspar Championship. As mentioned above Jordan Spieth is the defending champion after beating out Patrick Reed and Sean O'Hair in a playoff. The course is a little different from most Florida courses as it is made up of smaller tree lined fairways and rolling terrain. It is also made up of five Par 3's with distances ranging from 195-235 yards. I will be combining Par 3 Scoring Average with Proximity from 200-225 to get a  better look at who should do well on these holes. Looking at past results the top players on the leaderboard do most of their scoring on the Par 5's and Par 3's while just trying to survive the Par 4's. We will be looking at Par 4's Scoring Average closest as the top players on the leaderboard tend to correlate a lot more closely to 2015 Par 4 ranks than another scoring stat. The other two main stats I am using this week are Scrambling and Good Drive % which is new to my articles. It is a better way of looking at Driving Accuracy and GIR. It is a simple formula that looks at Par 4's and Par 5's(Not driving on Par 3's). It takes into account fairways hit + greens or fringe in regulation hit when the...
