Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups The Open Championship Royal Troon Golf Club - Ayrshire, Scotland Par 71 - 7,190 Yards With flooding in West Virginia forcing the cancellation of the Greenbrier the focus for the remaining OPEN Championship spots turned to the European Tour's Scottish Open last weekend. It was Alex Noren taking home the hardware with the final four spots going Tyrell Hatton, Nicolas Colsaerts, Matteo Manassero, and Richie Ramsay. The field is now set for the OPEN Championship and will consist of 156 players. The Tour heads to Ayrshire, Scotland this week for the 145th OPEN Championship. It will be the 9th time that Royal Troon Golf Club has hosted the tournament with the first in 1923. The course is one of the most famous Links golf courses on the planet and was established back in 1878. It is set on Scotlands west coastline and it's biggest defense is the wind. That isn't Troon's only defense though as golfers will face extremely thick rough and near impossible fairway bunkers. Don't believe me? Watch this short video below: As you can see it is going to be an interesting tournament to follow with the two distinctly different nines. The front nine with the wind at a players back makes a round in the 20's very doable and Birdie or Better % an important stat for me this week. The back nine is much harder playing into the wind combined with longer average yardage per hole which will result in me weighting Bogey Avoidance and Scrambling as well. As always I will look closely as the Strokes Gained metrics for the PGA Tour players with most weight on Off the Tee and Around the Green. If you are playing the Milli Maker this week you will notice a slight change in the setup. The cost has been pushed up to $33 with the entries capped at 105,000. After the Million Dollar top prize the payouts drop significantly with the 2nd place finisher taking in just $150,000. Not that that isn't a life changing amount for most people, the point is that is is a super...

This week the Scottish Open returns to Castle Stuart Golf Links where it hosted this event in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Phil Mickelson was the last winner here back in 2013 right before he went on to win the Open Championship and become the first player to do so. The course is a beautiful Links style golf course that overlooks the Moray Firth coastal landscape. At Par 72, 7,193 yards the length won't scare the shorter hitters but I always feel that distance can give you an advantage, especially if you are efficient in Total Driving as well(see Dustin Johnson's season!!). On any links course a players sand game, scrambling and putting will prove to be very important. With the cancellation of the Greenbrier Classic due to flooding, this weeks field is very strong with a ton of top tier options and a great mix of mid range and low end value giving us many options for roster construction this week. It will also be the final week to to get on on some cheap satellites into the Millionaire Maker next week so be sure to check out those tournaments on DraftKings. Here are a list of the stats that we have on the European Tour: Driving Distance Driving Accuracy Greens in Regulation Stroke Average Sand Saves Scrambling Putts Per GIR Putts Per Round My European Tour cheatsheet will be included in the $5 price of my regular PGA Premium content. If you have any questions about the article, cheatsheet, or anything fantasy golf hit me up on Twitter(Jager_Bombs9) or leave your questions in the comments section below. High End Targets ($9,000+) Branden Grace Vegas Odds - 12/1 Draftkings - $11,600 When looking at the top of the salary this week I feel Stenson and Grace stand above the rest. While both make great pieces to build around...

This will be the 25th time the course has hosted this event but this year will play a bit different as it underwent a 10 month renovation in preparation for the 2018 Ryder Cup. It will also be big for many golfers as counts towards the Race to Dubai points as well as Ryder Cup points. On top of all that, the Top 12 not already in the Open Championship will get a spot. There is a lot at stake this week. The course will play tough with a premium put on accuracy, both off the tee and in the approach to the undulating greens. There is a ton of water throughout the course so ball placement and smart play will be the key to getting birdies and pars and not giving away strokes to the field. Let's take a look at some GPP strategy for this week. High End Targets ($9,000+) Rory McIlroy Vegas Odds - 9/1 Draftkings - $13,400 Yep you seen that right. Rory is close to $3,000 more than any other golfer in the field. I love this spot for GPP's as I feel most people will gravitate to Kaymer or Westwood or even Masters champ Danny Willett at a much lower price. Rory came to France instead of playing in the WGC Bridgestone for a few reasons. He wants to maintain his lead in the Race to...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings and FantasyAces – WGC Bridgestone Invitational

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups WGC Bridgestone Invitational Firestone Country Club (South) - Akron, OH Par 70 - 7,400 Yards The Quicken Loans National wrapped up on Sunday afternoon with one of the best storylines of the season. Ex Navy man, Billy Hurley III, held on to his 54 hole lead throughout Sunday to pick up his first PGA Tour win at his home event in Maryland. We also got to witness a couple future Hall of Fame players push themselves up the leaderboard and contend for the win. Vijay Singh shot an amazing final round 65 to finish 2nd while Ernie Els tailed off a bit on Sunday shooting a 72 and finishing in 5th place. All in all it was another fantastic tournament. On to next week and another World Golf Championship event. This week the PGA Tour travels to the home of Lebron James..... and Firestone Country Club for the 2016 WGC Bridgestone Invitational. The field for these events usually includes the Top 70 golfers in the World and invites. This year the field will only include 61 players due to some big names playing the 100th Open de France on the European Tour. There is no cut and all 61 players, barring withdraws, will play all four days. The Course is a Par 70 that stretches out to 7,400 yards and includes two Par 5's, four Par 3's, and 12 Par 4's making Par 4 scoring extremely important this week. The defending champion is Shane Lowry who won last year with a score of -11 which was the highest score since 2008 where Vijay Singh won with a score 10 under par. Tiger Woods holds the Bridgestone record with a winning score of 21 under par back in 2000 and most recently Adam Scott fired a 17 under par in 2011. With tight, tree lined fairways and thick rough you are going to have to hit fairways consistently to be able to score at Firestone. The course is a beast at 7,400 on a Par 70 so distance is going to matter as well but not if...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Quicken Loans National Congressional Country Club - Bethesda, MD Par 71 - 7,569 Yards The seasons second major championship, the U.S. Open, wrapped up on Sunday afternoon with Dustin Johnson winning by a three stroke margin. It was a four stroke victory until DJ reached the scorers table where he faced the USGA officials who questioned his actions back on hole #5. Before addressing the ball DJ noticed the ball moved slightly so he called the official on site over to explain that he did not address or hit the ball in any way and was told to play it where it lies with no penalty. When DJ's group got to #12 tee box they were approached by an official again and were told that the video would be reviewed and it would get dealt with when DJ had completed his round. What? How on Earth do you tell players we will make a decision after the round but go play for that Major without knowing who is leading or by how many. No one even seemed to know what the penalty would be if there was going to be one. So they played on. It did not appear to affect DJ that much as he said in a post game interview he was simply playing the golf course. It did seem to affect the overnight leader Shane Lowry even though he claims it had no bearing on his collapse. At one point after learning of the non ruling he made three straight three putts. Outside of the USGA making a mess of the final holes, it was an incredible event with the best player coming out on top. Johnson's tee to green game was phenomenal as he bombed the ball with accuracy all week while leading the field in greens in regulation. He also only made five bogeys all week. Remove DJ from teh list of best players in the world without a major. It's now up to you Sergio Garcia and Jim Furyk(Wrong! My mistake. Furyk won the 2003 US Open). On to next week. This week...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups U.S. Open Oakmont Country Club - Oakmont, PA Par 70 - 7,255 Yards It may not have been an elite field at last weeks FedEx St. Jude Classic, but we were treated to a great tournament and great finish once again on Sunday. Last seasons Rookie of the Year, Daniel Berger added to the impressive start to his career with his first win on Tour. He was the only rookie to make it the Tour Championship last season and ended up finishing for 11th in the overall standings. All the big names in the tournament(Johnson, Mickelson, Koepka) all lurked on Sunday but Berger was able to hold them off. Enough with last week let's jump right into next week. The U.S. Open! Another chance to win a Million Dollars on DraftKings! What more could one ask for? For starters you could ask to never play Oakmont Country Club, the site of this weeks U.S. Open. It is widely considered the hardest test of golf in America. Oakmont has hosted more major champions than any other golf course(8 US Opens, 5 US Amateurs, 3 PGA Championships, and 2 US Womens Opens). It was designed with tight fairways, extremely difficult rough, bunkers at nearly every landing point(210 in total) and most of all greens that slope away from a players approach shot and are super fast. Not only will the course test all facets of a players physical golf game, the bigger challenge will be between the ears. Mistakes, if not handled correctly, can compound quickly and lead to some disgusting scores. To see a little behind the scenes of Oakmont Country Club click here. The last time the U.S. Open was played here was in 2007 where Angel Cabrera hoisted the trophy with a winning score of +5. Wait what? Seriously. Less than 10 rounds under 70 were recorded and Cabrera had two of them. The first thing this type of scoring is going to do for daily fantasy is turn the emphasis almost entirely on finishing position. There are going to be very few, if any, birdie streaks or bogey...
