This puts a ton of emphasis on getting the ball in play on the fairway(less than driver) which in turn will give the player a chance to hit the greens(Strokes Gained: Ball Striking). With the course being a Par 70 setup, there are only two Par 5's which is why you will see a ton of weight on Par 4 scoring. As always, Birdie or Better % is also heavily weighted as it directly correlates with fantasy scoring on DraftKings and FanDuel. One little note before jumping into the article. I use multiple sources for my research to help determine key stats starting with Fantasy National Golf Club and their elite set of tools from course history, hole composition, past performance and much, much more. I also combine it with some of the information on Future of Fantasy including correlated courses and most importantly the quotes from players section to help determine what it takes to win here(key stats). When breaking down ownership and trying to come up with popularity, I love the tools over at FanShareSports as they break down every piece of information on articles and social media mentions to provide us with Tag COunts, Sentiment Ratings, Subject Tags, Salary Differential week to week and much more. Genesis Open Welcome back golf fans. I hope you enjoyed the Pebble Beach Pro-Am that ended with an unlikely winner. It was Ted Potter Jr. picking up his second career win and it was huge for Potter who won the Greenbrier Classic back in his rookie season in 2012 and in 67 starts on Tour since that win, only recorded two Top 10 finishes. If you were one of the .04% that played him in GPP's last week, you likely saw some green screens and were thrilled with your bankroll Sunday night/Monday morning. This week the PGA Tour stays in California and heads to Pacific Palisades for the Genesis Open(once named the Northern Trust Open). If you have been waiting for the "Big Boy" tournament, this is it as four of the Top 10, 11 of the Top 20, and 27 of the World's Top 50 players are in the field to take on Riviera Country Club. The course is an absolute beastly Par 71 setup that stretches out to 7,322 yards with tough to hit fairways, tough to hit and fast greens. Combine that with the tricky Poa greens and the players in this strong field will have their hands full this week. Let's now take a look at the course details and setup, past winners, key stats, and then jump into some picks based aroudn Course History, Current Form, and the Stats Model. AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Business is booming as the fourth straight week with a playoff on the PGA Tour ended with Gary Woodland hoisting the Waste Management Phoenix Open trophy this past Sunday. He beat out local boy Chez Reavie on the first playoff hole after a wild final round that started with 13 golfers within three shots of the lead. Look for the excitement to continue as the players now head to one of the most historic and iconic courses in America. This week the PGA Tour heads to Pebble Beach, California for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Like two weeks ago at the CareerBuilder Challenge, the players will be dealing with a three-course rotation with a 54-hole cut including the Top 60 and ties. Jordan Spieth returns as the defending champion and joins a loaded field that includes three of the Top 5, five of the Top 10, and 17 of the Top 50 players in the World. All three courses come in under 7,000 yards and while the weather can play a huge factor in the final score, the average winning score has been -17 over the past five years so scoring will be at a premium. Different players have had success on different courses but overall, Monterey Peninsula ranks as the easiest of the three while Spy Glass ranks as the hardest of the three. From a fantasy standpoint, it makes sense to employ a stars and scrubs strategy in both cash games and GPP formats this week as each player gets an extra round with the three-course rotation. With the emphasis on birdies and scoring, that means the fantasy scores will be much higher and less likely that a scrape by six of six team will not necessarily cash in all formats. Let's take a look at each of the courses and previous...

Waste Management Phoenix Open Welcome back to another week of daily fantasy golf. Jason Day walked away with his 11th career win this morning on the sixth playoff hole at the Farmers Insurance Open. It capped off the biggest event of the season so far as we got to see the return of Tiger Woods. He definitely made things exciting as he birdied the 36th hole on Friday afternoon to sneak in under the cut. He came away with a T23 and shot par or better in all four rounds so there is a ton to take away from this performance as he moves forward in the 2018 season. This week the PGA Tour travels to the desert for the Waste Management Phoenix Open from TPC Scottsdale. One of the most fun and most entertaining tournaments of the year where a record-setting 204,906 people attended the Saturday round last year and just over 655,000 for the entire tournament. The focus for most fans attending is the one-of-a-kind 16th hole that is completely enclosed with a stadium-style atmosphere where fans will cheer and boo loudly unlike any other event on tour. Just check out some of the highlights. Before getting into the course history, current form, and stats picks for the week let's take a look at the course information, past winners, and key stats. Farmers Insurance Open Welcome back to another week of daily fantasy golf. It's early in the 2018 season but this is by far the biggest week of the year as Tiger Woods returns to action. It marks his first official start on the Tour since the Farmers Insurance Open last year where he shot 76/72 and missed the cut. He is, however, coming off a fantastic showing at the Hero World Challenge in early December where he finished T9 after shooting three rounds under 70. It will most definitely be "Must See TV" and brings a ton of excitement to the overall golf conversation. This week we are treated to another multi-course rotation with Torrey Pines South and North courses being used. Golfers will get a crack at each course in the first two days with a 36 hole cut coming after Friday's round and the South Course being used in each of the final two rounds. After some birdie fests over the past few weeks, things will change this week as Torrey Pines is considered one of the toughest tests on the PGA Tour, especially since the North Course was renovated in 2016. Jon Rahm is the defending champ with a score of -13 but the three previous winners all won with a score under in the single digits. Let's take a quick look at the hole composition and approach shot distribution(via Fantasy National Golf Club). Throughout the article, I will almost exclusively be concentrating on teh South Course as golfers will be spending three of the four rounds on this course incuding the final two rounds. As you can see above, length is one of the biggest challenges here at Torry Pines so I will be not only looking at Strokes Gained: Approach but also factoring in Proximity from the 175-200 yards and from 200+ yards. Driving Distance is...

CareerBuilder Challenge Welcome back daily fantasy golf fans. The 2018 portion of the season is in full swing and this week the players return to the mainland and will travel to La Quinta, California for the CareerBuilder Challenge formerly known as the Humana Challenge and the Bob Hope Classic. This week is a little different than most PGA tournaments as it will be played on three different courses. Each player will get one round on each course over the first three days with the tournament holding a 54-hole cut. The final round on Sunday will be played the host course, TPC Stadium Course in its third year as the host course. This also muddies the water when trying to analyze course history and key stats but we will roll with the hand we are dealt. Below is a look at the hole composition and approach shot distribution on the Stadium Course via Fantasy National Golf Club. Those making the final round on Sunday will get two cracks at this course so this will be the only course I will be looking closely at in the article. For an overview of the other two courses, be sure to grab a copy of my cheatsheet. Like I mentioned above, narrowing down the stats is very tough this week but a few I am looking at for the Stadium Course specifically are Par 4's from 400-450 yards and approaches from 150-175 yards. More than anything, I will be looking at Birdie or Better % as the winning score has been between -20 and -28 for five straight years. I am keeping things pretty simple this week and weighing form and last two years course history a little higher than normal. Let's jump in and take a look at the course, past winners, and my top picks in each category. The Courses TPC...
