Auto Club 400 Auto Club Speedway - Fontana, CA Track - 2 Mile D-Shaped Oval This week the Monster Energy Cup Series heads to Fontana, California for the Auto Club 400. Like the Las Vegas race, the teams will be using the full 2019 rules package with the tapered spacer to reduce horsepower to 550, taller rear spoiler, wider radiator pan, and air ducts on the front. All to create more downforce and closer racing and with this being a two-mile track with multiple lanes we could most definitely see more drafting this week when compared to the mile and half Vegas race. For fantasy, I think we see two to three dominators as once a car gets out front it is very hard to pass them. Passing can still be done(see Kyle Busch over Ryan Blaney last week) it is just much harder now with the new package. In Vegas, with this package both race winner Joey Logano and 4th place Kevin Harvick led 86 and 88 laps respectively. In that Vegas race there were four drivers(Kurt Busch, Keselowski, Almirola, Truex) to pick up double-digit place differential in that race but qualifying was very unusual putting those fast cars back in the field. Let's jump in and take a look at some track history, current form, and then get into the picks. Last Six Winners at Auto Club Speedway 2018 - Martin Truex Jr. (started 1st, led 125 laps) 2017 - Kyle Larson (started 1st, led 110 laps) 2016 - Jimmie Johnson (started 19th, led 25 laps) 2015 - Brad Keselowski (started 8th, led 1 lap) 2014 - Kyle Busch (started 14th, led 5 laps) 2013 - Kyle Busch (started 4th, led 125 laps) Track History at Auto Club Speedway This track has hosted a Cup series race annually(twice a year from 2004-2010) since 1997 and no driver has been as dominant as Jimmie Johnson. In those 29 races, he leads the way with six career wins(the most recent coming in 2016),...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – The PLAYERS Championship

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – The PLAYERS Championship Chris will be bringing you weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings and FanDuel. As every week in DFS PGA changes with the course setup, field of players and weather, Chris will be providing a range of different picks for cash games as well as upside plays for tournaments. If you have any questions to lineup lock you can reach him a variety of ways. Leave your question/comment below in the comments section, find him in the DFSR Chat room or hit him up on Twitter(@Jager_Bombs9). Chris is also providing his DFS PGA Weekly cheatsheet where he provides stats, course history, current form, fantasy points, and much more. Grab your copy today and edge out the competition. The PLAYERS Championship This week the PGA Tour heads to TPC Sawgrass for the "Fifth Major", The PLAYERS Championship. With the amateurs in the field for the US Open, Club Pros in the field for the PGA Championship and number of former winners who make up the smaller Masters field, one could argue this is the best field in all of golf. This year's 144-player field is made up of every Top 50 player and 81 of the Top 100 players on the Official World Golf Rankings! TPC Sawgrass is a shorter, 7,189-yard Par 72 but the Pete Dye design is no walk in the park. Placement and accuracy off the tee are much more important than distance with the tree-lined fairways with tons of bunkers and water in play as well. Approach shots become very important this week, especially the long irons, as these Bermuda greens are smaller than average and play very fast. The Par 5's are very scoreable and play almost a half stroke under par on average but the Par 4's present a challenge for not only the above mentioned obstacles but also as five of them are over 450 yards in length. The average winning score has been around -12 over the last five to ten years so I will also be weighing both Birdie or Better % and Bogey Avoidance as those who avoid the big numbers here give themselves a big advantage as balls will find the water. They always do! Let's jump in and take a look at the course details, trends, top stats in the model, and then get into the picks. Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/12/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/12/19 We are now less than a month away from the end of the regular season and playoff races are heating up putting emphasis on every shift from here on out......for most teams. Tuesday night in the NHL brings us a big eight-game slate with the feature matchup between Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals and Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top goalies, teams, and situations to target and then be sure to check out our projection system and lineup optimizer. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? GOALIE Mike Smith FD - $7900 DK - $8400 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 23.14 DK - 5.79 David Rittich FD - $8000 DK - $8400 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 21.75 DK - 5.44 The Flames are still waiting for one of these goalies to take the rein's as the #1 guy and at this point, it is unclear who will get the start on Tuesday so I will list both. Both guys have been merely average lately with Rittich having the edge in save %(.911) on the season. Whoever gets the starts tonight gets a terrific opportunity to add their numbers as the Flames are huge -385 favorites against a struggling Devils team that has dropped six straight while scoring just seven goals and for the season, they own a league-worst 8-23-3 road record and rank 25th in road offense. All things considered, the Flames goalies are at the top of the list in all formats tonight. Jordan Binnington FD - $8800 DK - $7800 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 18.49 DK - 4.62 Binnington has been one of the best stories in the league this season as he comes into tonight with 16-3-1 record since being called up in the middle of December. He and the Blues are -200 home favorites tonight and the only reason he comes in as my second option tonight is the matchup. Against the Coyotes, you say? That's right, Arizona has been terrific lately winning eight of their last 10 games and entered last night just one game out of a wildcard spot in the Western Conference playoff picture. The good news for Binnington and the Blues who are holding on to a four-point lead for the #3 seed in the Central is that...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Race Preview & Picks for DraftKings – Ticket Guardian 500

Ticket Guardian 500 ISM Raceway - Phoenix, AZ Track - 1 Mile Tri-Oval This week the Monster Energy Cup Series heads to ISM Raceway for the Ticket Guardian 500. The new rules package is a little bit different here in Phoenix as the cars will be without the tapered spacer bringing them back up to 750 hp and they will also not be using the air ducts. They will, however, keep the new rear spoiler creating more downforce and early reports in the opening practice are faster speeds here than ever before. We will see how it plays out. For fantasy, with 312 laps in the race, I will still be building around dominator upside as there has been at least one driver to lead 100 or more laps in 10 straight races here. Looking at the place differential trends, the playoff race last fall was a bit of an outlier with 11 drivers picking up double-digit PD as no more than five had done it in the previous five races. It would appear there is a correlation to the new configuration but the sample size is just too small to draw any logical conclusions. While there is not nearly as many top drivers starting back in the field this week, there is still a few we can target in this area. Let's jump in and take a look at some track history, track type history, current form and top targets heading ito the final practices on Saturday. Last Six Winners at ISM Raceway Kyle Busch(started 6th, led 117 laps) Kevin Harvick(started 10th, led 38 laps) Matt Kenseth(started 7th, led 62 laps) Ryan Newman(started 22nd, led 6 laps) Joey Logano(started 4th, led 58 laps) Kevin Harvick(started 18th, led 139 laps) Track History at ISM Raceway Kyle Busch returns to ISM Raceway as the most recent winner here back in November and has finished Top 10 here in seven straight and nine of his last 10 trips with six Top 5's and led 75 or...

Thursday brings us a huge 11-game slate with eight of those games opening with a 6.0+ Vegas Total so expect another high-scoring night which has become the norm lately. Let's dig in and take a look at some of the top goalies, teams, and situations to target. Want more? GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9800 DK - $8100 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 21.11 DK - 5.28 There are some nice options at goalie tonight on this big slate but Andrei Vasilevskiy stands out above the rest. He was terrific before the All-Star Break(20-4-2, .925 save %) and has been even better since winning 11 of his last 14 starts with an elite .944 save % while facing 32 shots per game. Tonight, he and the Bolts are big -240 home favorites against a Wild team that is coming home at home losses to the Preds and rank 25th in offense scoring just 2.8 goals per game. If you are playing on FanDuel, Greiss at a $1,600 discount makes the cash game decision a little harder but n DraftKings as the 5th most expensive goalie, Vasilevskiy is a great play in all formats. Thomas Greiss FD - $8200 DK - $8200 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 20.73 DK - 5.18 Like I mentioned above, Greiss's price makes him a very close 1B option to Vasilevskiy in cash games on FanDuel at a big discount. He replaced Robin Lehner on Tuesday due to injury and will get the start on the back end of a home at home vs. the Senators. The Isles pulled out the 5-4 win the other night and it was only the second time the Sens have scored more than two goals since Matt Duchene was traded(eight games). In fact, since they first sat him out in preparation for said trade, the team has averaged just 1.6 goals per game. For Greiss, he has split time with Lehner this season and having a career year with a .928 save %. Even on the road, the Isles are -210 favorites vs. a depleted Sens team and...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/5/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/5/19 Welcome back hockey fans. After a quiet Monday on the ice, we get a very busy Tuesday with 10 games on the schedule with seven of those games with a high(6.0+) total so we can undoubtedly expect another high scoring night. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the top goalies, teams, and situations to target tonight. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Robin Lehner FD - $8400 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 24.02 DK - 6.01 Thomas Greiss FD - $8600 DK - $8200 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 22.81 DK - 5.7 The goalie position has some very interesting options tonight and we will start with the Islanders who are sitting as the largest favorites(-350) on the slate. They get one of, if not the best matchup on the slate at home facing a depleted Senators team that traded away their top three scorers and have dropped seven of their last eight games scoring two or fewer goals in six of those. Lehner is currently listed as the projected starter but was pulled last game giving up three goals on 13 shots against the Flyers but overall has been consistent all season with a 20-11-5 record and is second behind Vasilevskiy with a .929 save%. Greiss has been equally as good with a .928% save % so whoever gets the starts is in play tonight and their best value comes on FanDuel where they are $1,600 cheaper than Vasilevskiy. Ben Bishop FD - $8900 DK - $7900 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 0 DK - 4.76 While Bishop has just one win in three games since returning from injury, he has been much better than that stopping 101 of 106 shots he has faced but just hasn't gotten the offensive help. On the season, Bishop sits Top 5 in Save %(.928) and has been a huge reason the Stars rank Top 5 on defense on the season allowing just 2.6 goals per game. Tonight, he and the Stars have a plus matchup as -210 home favorites against a rebuilding Rangers team that has dropped four straight and five of their last six games and rank outside the Top 20 on offense. On FanDuel, I prefer Lehner or Greiss but on DraftKings it is much closer as Bishop comes at...
