Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/31/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/31/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. We get treated to a smaller two-game LCS slate this today but I will be turning my attention to the two-game LPL slate starting at 3 am ET. It starts with one game between teams outside the playoff picture and one game between two teams firmly in the playoff picture. Let's break down each matchup and get into my favorite teams and players on the slate. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. Top Teams to Target Edward Gaming vs. LGC Gaming The slate starts with the 15th ranked LGD Gaming facing the 9th ranked Edward Gaming. While there are only two games separating them in the standings, EG has been much better in terms of a game by game basis as they have won 52% of their games while LGD has won just 37% of their games. LGD is coming off a shutout win but taking away the shine is that it came against the worst team in the league, Victory Five. Before that win, they had lost three straight and six of their previous seven matches, thus sitting near the bottom of the standings. On the other side, EG is coming off a 2-1 loss at the hands of RNG but had won three of their previous four before that and also showing they can compete with the big guns shutting out eStar 2-0 in mid-March. Looking at the stats, it is very close in terms of kills per game(LGD-14.0, EG-13.3) but EG has a big advantage in terms of kill to death ratio 1.31 to .89 on the season. They also get a slight edge in Towers per game(6.2 to 5.4) and Dragons per game(2.6 to 2.3). EG are the odds on favorite(-334) and my pick to win in a game that I think goes three games. Player to Target At the top of my list and the salary list is Hope(ADC) and for good reason, as he is riding a streak of five straight matches tallying double-digit kills and is averaging 87.6 DK points per match in that time. A close second for me is Scout(MID) who has also been on a killing spree lately with a four-game streak of double-digit kills averaging 83.4 DK points per match. On the season, these two combine for 56.1% of the total damage on the team. As secondary plays, I like Aodi(TOP), Meiko(SUP), JunJia(JNG) in that order...

Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/28/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. Being cooped up inside for the last 13 days I didn't even realize it was the weekend again until I saw the LEC and LCS slates. This is what my life has become. How are you all holding up through this? First up on Saturday is a five-game LEC slate starting at 12 pm ET followed but a five-game LCS slate at 5 pm ET. Both leagues are one-game matches and overall, this is why I look at stats on a per-game basis rather than per match. With that said let's jump in and take a look at a few core teams to target in both leagues. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. LEC Slate Fnatic vs. Team Vitality As always I will start with my favorite team on the slate and for the LEC that is Fnatic who come into this one tied for 2nd in the league with a 13-4 record(76%). They have already beat Team Vitality handily this season, come in off two straight wins since the break and seven of their last eight overall. They have a huge advantage in every area starting with kills per game as they average 14.6(3rd best in league) while Team Vitality sits 2nd last in both kills(7.2) and deaths(14.9) per game. Fnatic also has a huge advantage in golf differential(181 to -264), towers per game(7.6 to 3.1), and dragons per game(3.1 to 1.3). Look for them to dominate. Players to Target From a PTS/$ perspective, I start with Bwipo(TOP) who has been awesome since the break with 13 kills, 21 assists, and just five deaths in three games for an average of 30.5 fantasy points per game. I would even consider him in the Captain spot for cash games on DraftKings for salary relief. Rekkles(ADC) is up next as he is 5th in FanDuel and 4th in DraftKings points per game on the season and since the break has tallied 12 kills, 20 assists, and just one death in three games. Nemesis(MID) comes at a big discount and can rack up the points in the middle and makes a nice option and Hylissang(SUP) is ranked #2 at the position today but 3rd in price on DK and 4th on FD. FC Schalke 04 vs. Rogue For my second pick, I am targeting an underdog in FC Schalke for a couple reason starting with their form. They are...
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/27/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/27/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. After taking one on the chin last night(both my core teams got shutout) I am ready to rebound tonight as we get another inter-league LPL/LCK six-game slate. Let's dig in and break down the numbers and look at some core plays. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. Top Teams to Target eStar vs. LNG Esports FunPlus Phoenix is a bigger favorite tonight but Estar has been the class of the Spring league with a 7-1 match(88%) and 14-5(74%) game record. They come into tonight having won three straight matches out-killing opponents 141-61 averaging 20.1 kills per game. LNG is coming off a 2-1 loss to Suning but they are no pushover as they won three straight matches before that and will have motivation sitting just outside the playoff picture by the slimmest of margins(tied in match record with EDG but have lost one more game). Players to Target You may not be able to get them in Captain spot without taking a shot at some underdog teams but all eStar stacks will start with Cryin(MID) and Wink(ADC). Over eStar's three game win streak, Cryin has tallied 34 kills and 68 assists while averaging 103.5 DK points per match. In that time, Wink has tallied 45 kills and 55 assists averaging 107.9 DK points per match. I will also run ShiauC(SUP) in the Support spot to correlate with Wink and while he doesn't get many kills, he has averaged 26.7 assists per match over that three-game win streak. I also like Xiaobai(TOP) tonight as he has shown big upside(104.5 DK points last match) and can also be considered a captain choice to get a four-player eStar stack in any format. Sandbox Gaming vs. Griffin After the two bigger favorites tonight(eStar & FPX) we really have to make some big decisions as the other four games are all fairly close when breaking down the numbers. While their record doesn't jump off the page, they do a matchup against the worst team in the league and motivation should be there as they are really only two matches out of a playoff spot. The other thing that skews the numbers a bit for Sandbox is the fact they are rolling out a whole new lineup than earlier in the season. Only two players(Lonely-TOP & Route-ADC) have played multiple games since the start of March. With a new-look lineup, they looked very good...
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/26/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/26/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. For the second straight night we get an inter-league slate with three games from the LPL(China) and three games from the LCK(Korea) leagues. Let's jump in and take a look at a couple of my core teams and players to target for DraftKings. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. Top Teams to Target Afreeca Freecs vs. Sandbox Gaming In the first set of games, it is the LCK matchup between AF and SG that really stands out tonight. Not only is AF a -350 Vegas favorite with a -5.5 kill spread(Map #1), they also lead in almost every statistical category including Kills per game(11.3 to 10.3), K:D Ratio(.97 to .85), Towers per game(6.2 to 5.4), and Dragons per game(2.6 to 2.2). The Freecs(way cooler to say) are also coming off a huge 2-1 win over T1 in their last game before the break and come in having won four of their last five games. At the individual player level, they have a huge advantage on paper as all five projected starters have a 3+ KDA while no one on SB is above 2.9 and two of them(TOP/SUP) are below 2.0 for the season. On the other side, SB comes in ice-cold having lost six straight and 12 of their last 15 games. Pick - Afreeca Freecs Sandbox has completely flipped their lineup over the last 2-3 games before the break so it will be interesting to see who start tonight(the sheet shows projected lineup correlated to last match starting lineup). The Vegas match spread(+1.5) favors the over here slightly(via BET365) which gives us more projected kills so sign me in all formats. It makes sense considering the Freecs last eight matches have all gone to a 3rd game with them winning five of them. Top Targets(ranked) - Mystic(ADC), Kiin(TOP), Fly(MID) Before the break, Mystic was an absolute beast gaining 29% of his team's total fantasy points over their last five matches. Two of those matches were losses but in those he still showed a floor of 50 points. This alone makes him a top target in cash games with that kind of consistency. Next up is Kiin at TOP as he has also been consistent gaining at least 21% of the team's total fantasy points in each of his last five matches with 10+ assists in four of those while averaging 893 creep score per match....
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/25/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/25/20 Welcome back sports fans. It has been a dismal couple weeks with sports being canceled and suspended worldwide but never fear as I have dove headfirst into the world of Esports and League of Legends. I am not going to go as far as to say I am an expert after one week of research but I have learned a ton from merely breaking down the data on a player, team, and even league level. I have already provided my initial notes and strategy in the chat(hit me up for that if you have not already read it over) and will now go over some matchups I like and teams/players I will be targeting. Let's get started. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. Slate Breakdown First things first. If you have been playing the LPL China league you know they play nightly and it is usually two or three-game slates. Not tonight. The Korean LCK league is now back up and running and with the same structure(best of 3), DraftKings has merged the two leagues into one six-game slate instead of two separate slates for each league. Teams will still only play teams in their league with their regular schedule and only affects us playing daily fantasy on DraftKings. The first thing that came to mind with a structure like is was to compare the two leagues to see if one was possibly a better target. I looked at team kills per game on a league and team level. What I found was that the LPL averages over three kills per game more than the LCK about also about three more deaths per game. I also noticed that 10 of the 17 teams in the LPL average more kills per game on the season than the leader in the LCK league. I also wanted to look at recent form and dug into each league's last two weeks(25 games each). Last week each team played 12 games and the LPL out-killed the LCK 288-277 but the week before out-killed them 340-254. In those two weeks, a team in the LPL tallied 15 kills or more 25 times while that happened just 14 times in the LCK league. By no means will I completely fade the LCK teams tonight but will most certainly have more exposure to the LPL league, especially in cash games. With that, let's take a look at some core teams...

Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page This week the PGA Tour heads to TPC Sawgrass for The PLAYERS Championship and one of the strongest fields in golf. Each of the Top 10 and 47 of the Top 50 players in the world are teeing it up this week and 110 players in the field have at least one PGA Tour win. TPC Sawgrass is a Par 72 listed at 7,189 yards on the scorecard and is a classic Pete Dye design with tight fairways, Bermuda rough(2.5 inches on average), and small Bermuda greens(5,500 sq feet on average). Accuracy off the tee is very important if you want a decent lie and opportunity to hit the smaller greens and this leads to a fairly heavy "less than driver" strategy for most of the field. The second key here is the approach shot to the smaller greens and this is where the winners have mostly separated themselves in past years. Five of the 10 Par 4's are also 450+ yards so there will also be a lot of approaches coming from 175+ yards so players will need to be on with their long irons. With the smaller greens, there is going to be a lower Greens in Regulation % which means getting up and down is very important so Scrambling/Strokes Gained: Around the Green is weighted heavy in my model as well. Finally, with a winning score in the mid-teens on average year to year, Birdie or Better % is a great stat to look at as well, especially if you are playing showdown contests on DraftKings. From a cash game lineup construction perspective, I always like going balanced and this week it makes even more sense as the strong field has lowered the prices on some top players. For GPP formats, balanced also works but stars and scrubs is likely preferred and is easy to do as there are...
