The final regular event of the 2021 calendar year takes the PGA Tour to Sea Island, Georgia for the RSM Classic. Much like the other fall events, we get a weaker field this week with just one player(Louis Oosthuizen) ranked inside the Top 10(#9) and just 13 inside the Top of the World Golf Rankings. We also get back to a multi-course rotation this week at Sea Island Resort with golfers playing one round at each of the Seaside and Plantation courses on Thursday and Friday. Those golfers who make the cut(Top 65 & ties) will then play the final two rounds on the Seaside course. This is where most of my focus will be when setting up my stats model this week. The Seaside Course is a Par 70 with just two Par 5's so I will be heavy on Par 4 scoring and mid-iron approaches with nine of the 11 falling between 400 and 450 yards. You are also going to need a ton of birdies from your golfers as the winning score has been in the high teens consistently year after year. With that said, take a peak at the courses and previous winners below and then let's get into the picks. The Courses **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2021 → Robert Streb(-19) 2020 → Tyler Duncan(-19) 2019 → Charles Howell III(-19) 2018 → Austin Cook(-21) 2017 → Mackenzie Hughes(-17) Top Tier Targets Cameron Smith World Golf Ranking (#23) Vegas Odds (18/1) Draftkings ($10,300) FanDuel ($11,800) Smith is making his first trip to the RSM Classic but comes in with good form with a T9 at the CJ Cup and T15 at the Houston Open to open the season. The excellent play goes all the back to July, as...

Titans Passing Game Ryan Tannehill FD 7400 DK 6200 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 19.96 DK - 20.56 A.J. Brown FD 7600 DK 7800 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 16.76 DK - 20.03 The loss of Derrick Henry didn't really seem to affect the offense a whole bunch as they delivered a huge blow to the Rams #4 DVOA defense putting up 28 points last week. It was a bit of a surprise, to say the least, and it also capped the upside of Tannehill as he only had to throw 27 times and tallied just 143 pass yards. This and the matchup against the Saints seems to have people off him this week as he is currently only 9th in tags on FanShare Sports and projected to be low owned. The toughest part of the matchup is in the RedZone where the Saints defense is 2nd overall but they also have allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game on the season. I love the potential low ownership plus slate-breaking upside. I will be pairing Tannehill with his top wideout, A.J. Brown who is dominating the wideout targets lately averaging 10 per game over the last four weeks and has been unaffected by the addition of Julio Jones. Like I mentioned above, the Saints defense is elite in the RedZone but has given up a ton of yards(2nd most to WR). This is my top QB/WR stack to gain some leverage on the GPP field this week. Colts Passing Game Carson Wentz FD 7500 DK 5900 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 19.29 DK - 20.08 Michael Pittman Jr. FD 7200 DK 6300 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 15.55 DK - 19.11 It's no secret Jonathan Taylor is the driving force behind the Colts offense and it's also no secret he will be one of the highest-owned players on the slate. While I will have a lot of exposure and will be building around him cash, there is an opportunity to gain some leverage and pivot to the passing game. It starts with the matchup as the Jags, even after last...

The Course Memorial Park Golf Course Par 70 - 7, 432 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** This week the PGA Tour returns to the US of A for the Houston Open and for the second season in a row, will be held at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. Last season marked the first time the course had been used on Tour since the 60's and it was Carlos Ortiz hoisting the trophy with a winning score of -13. This year's field is led by Brooks Koepka who is coming off a missed cut in Mexico and hasn't tallied a Top 10 since the OPEN Championship back in July. I wouldn't count him out, however, as he tallied a Top 5 here last year and was a consultant to Tom Doak in the renovation of the course before last year's event. We only have a one-year sample size to try and build a stats model off of but one thing was clear, there were different ways to get it done. For instance, winner Carlos Ortiz was 43rd off the tee and 16th on approach but was Top 5 in both around the green and putting. Sam Burns finished T7 af89ter leading the field in ball striking but finishing 59th around the green and 89th putting. Brooks himself finished T5 and while he struggled with the irons(83rd), was 6th off the tee and 2nd putting. My top stat this week will be Strokes Gained: Approach but will be looking at it in multiple different ways. I do want a player who is trending with their irons overall but with three of the five par 3's in the 200+ yard range and five of the par 4's coming in at 490 or more yards, I will...

The Course El Camaleon Golf Club Par 71 - 7,017 Yards Greens - Paspalum **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2021 - Viktor Hovland(-20) 2020 - Brendon Todd(-20) 2019 - Matt Kuchar(-22) 2018 - Patton Kizzire(-19) 2017 - Pat Perez(-21) From Bermuda to Mexico, the PGA Tour holiday season continues this week with the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba. While this year's field has just one player(Justin Thomas) ranked inside the Top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings, it is a sneaky strong field with 48 of the Top 100 players. The course is a Par 71 that is listed at 7,017 yards on the scorecard and is made up of four Par 3's, 11 Par 4's, and three Par 5's. This naturally puts emphasis on Par 4 scoring and when breaking that down further, five of those Par 4's are over 450 yards with one over 500 yards. I will also be looking at an off the tee model similar to last week which includes good drive %. Looking at past results and stats, there are plenty of players who hit between 50-60% of fairways but still hit over 70% of greens and finish near the top of the leaderboard. The biggest weight in my model goes towards approach shots and birdie or better % as the average winning score is right around -20 each year. Let's get into the picks. Top Tier Targets Abraham Ancer World Golf Ranking (#14) Vegas Odds (20/1) Draftkings ($10,700) FanDuel ($11,400) Choosing between the Top 3-4 golfers this week is splitting hairs and I will have exposure to all of them in my multi-entry builds but if you are making me choose one(and I know you are), it's Abraham Ancer. The Course Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club Par 70 - 7,041 Yards Greens - **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Top Tier Targets Collin Morikawa World Golf Ranking (#3) Vegas Odds (6/1) Draftkings ($11,200) FanDuel ($12,000) At some point last Friday afternoon at the CJ Cup, the switch was flipped for Morikawa and it came after a bogey, double-bogey, bogey stretch. After that point, he went bogey-free for 42 straight holes with 17 birdies and two eagles to end up with a T2 in his first event since the Ryder Cup. As usual, his success was led by his elite iron game as he gained 4.9 strokes and ranks #1 on my sheet in SG: Approach and SG: Ball Striking. If I was playing multi-entry this week, I would likely be splitting Morikawa/Xander but will be once again be playing lineup and slightly lean Morikawa. Keegan Bradley World Golf Ranking (#84) Vegas Odds (35/1) Draftkings ($9,400) FanDuel ($10,500) I always have to throw a cup of cold water in my face when targeting Keegan at these prices to make sure I am serious and well here we are again. It's tough not to like him when he checks off almost every box starting with the ball striking(9th in the field on my sheet) and with some non-penal rough I am looking closely at Good Drive% and Keegan is 7th in that stat. He is also Top 20 in Par 3, 4, & 5 scoring and is 12th in BoB% in this field. To top it off I ran a comp course and international model on Fantasy National and Keegan is 2nd and 8th in those rankings. All things considered, he will be a core play for me this week in all formats. Mid Tier Target Harry Higgs World Golf Ranking (#112)...

The Course The Summit Club Par 72 - 7,431 Yards Greens - Bentgrass **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** For the second year in a row, the CJ Cup will be hosted in Las Vegas, this time at the Summit Club. This is a new course on the PGA Tour rotation so course history is thrown out the window when putting together a model. For narrative purposes, Collin Morikawa and Maverick McNealy are members here at the Summit Club and that will likely help bump up their popularity in the fantasy community. As it always is, the CJ Cup is a no-cut event with 78 players in a very strong field led by seven of the Top 10 and 36 of the Top 50 players in the World. With this being a new course I am keeping my stats model fairly simple. Looking at the hole by hole and some flyovers, it appears the fairways are generous which will lead to the second shot being huge in another potential birdie-fest. This has Strokes Gained: Approach and Birdie or Better % taking up a majority of model. I will then add in some Strokes Gained: Putting on Bentgrass stats, Par 4 Scoring, and Par 5 Birdie or Better%. In terms of lineup construction, these no-cut events really cater to a stars and scrubs build for multiple reasons. First of all, there are usually multiple players in the $6K range(DraftKings) who are normally much higher priced, and second, everyone gets four rounds to rack up birdies taking away the stress of making the cut on Friday afternoon. If you are playing heavy GPP and want to differentiate some, consider constructing some balanced lineups. You can accomplish this by using the filters on our DFS PGA Optimizer tool. With all that...
