Adam Scott is the most recognizable name and likely gets the most attention but I will be turning to the top-ranked golfer in my model, Akshay Bhatia. He finished T17 here a year ago in his first trip and after a missed cut at the Fortinet this fall season, he has been very solid wiht four straight made cuts including a T21 at the Zozo Championship and T10 last week at the WWT Championship. He is also first in my long-term stats model highlighted by a ranking of 4th in ball striking, 7th in good drive %, 10th in proximity, and 2nd/1st/1st in par 4 scoring, par 5 scoring, and overall bridie or better %. Fire up Bhatia in all formats. Taylor Pendrith World Golf Ranking (#123) Vegas Odds (25/1) DraftKings ($9,100) FanDuel ($10,400) Pendrith is another golfer who kicked off the season with a missed cut at the Fortinet Championship but quickly turned it around. He has only played twice since but has finishes of T3 at the Shriners Open and T15 at the WWT Championship last week. He may be 30th in my long-term model on the sheet but in a smaller sample size(Last 12 rounds), he ranks 4th overall. Look for that form to carry over as he looks to duplicate or top his T5 here back in the 2022 season. While he could sit back, relax, and enjoy the lead into the holidays, I have a feeling he will be hunting birdies at max speed as he looks for his first career win on Tour. He enters with terrific form having not only finishing Top 30 in seven of his last eight events but also comes in off two straight Top 10's(Zozo, Shriners) in the fall season. Where I am not paying up for Aberg, I love starting my lineups with Hossler this week and will also be betting him outright. Luke List World Golf Ranking (#146) Vegas Odds (40/1) DraftKings ($9,000) FanDuel ($10,200) Not only has List been consistent for a long stretch where he has made seven of eight cuts dating back to May, he is in prime Luke List fall form with Top 25's in all three events including a win at the Sanderson Farms Championship. His game has been on point gaining 20.8 strokes gained tee to green over the last three events and he ranks 2nd in that category along with 10th in driving distance, 3rd in SG: around the green, and 1st in Birdie or Better. Cameron Champ World Golf Ranking (#271) Vegas Odds (45/1) DraftKings ($7,800) FanDuel ($9,600) Champ is one of the biggest boom or bust plays on Tour and he has displayed that in the fall season with a T9 at the Sanderson and T18 at the Shriners sandwiched between a T59 at the...

It's that foundation that led him to a very consistent second half of the season where he finished with 12 straight made cuts from May until August. He now returns to CC of Jackson with a nice track record making the cut in three of his last four attempts with finishes of T30, T26, and T14. Checking almost every box, Jaeger is easily one of my top plays this week. Sam Ryder World Golf Ranking (#112) Vegas Odds (50/1) DraftKings ($8,500) FanDuel ($10,400) While Ryder doesn't check all the boxes thanks to some sub-par course history, it is impossible to ignore his form coming in this time around. He finished T14 at the season-opening Fortinet Championship(ranked 3rd in SG: T2G), has made four straight cuts going back to the 3M Open and more importantly has gained four or more strokes on approach in five straight shotlink events. In keeping with the trend of improving his success here year over year, I look for Ryder to use his red-hot irons to carry him to a career-best finish and possibly contend for a win. Whether it be a major championship or playoff event Rahm shows up and has the same, if not more upside than any player in the field. He is my favourite overall play and pick to win this week! Viktor Hovland FedEx Cup Rank (#7) Vegas Odds (16/1) DraftKings ($10,300) FanDuel ($11,600) While it was a disappointing showing here at Olympia Fields back in 2020(T40), Hovland is a terrific course fit and one of my favourite plays on both sites this week. He isn't just Top 20 in every stat in my short-term model, he is 5th in SG: Tee to Green, 11th in Driving Distance, 12th in SG: Approach(5th in Prox 200+), 9th in SG: Around the Green(struggled here overall this season), and 2nd in Birdie or Better. Those stats reflect the elite consistency and he is also one of just three players in this field to make every cut this season(21/21). He enters the playoffs with seven straight Top 10 finishes including a win at the Scottish Open. The putting roller coaster ride has been a thing of the past as a bad week now is still gaining strokes on the field. The elite all-around game is led by his driving which is arguably the best on tour as he is 1st in distance and has been much better in finding fairways during this hot stretch. I look for Rory to kick off the playoffs in style and ride throughout the playoffs. Tommy Fleetwood FedEx Ranking (#26) Vegas Odds (30/1) DraftKings ($9,100) FanDuel ($10,800) From my favourite overall play to one of my favourite PTS/$ plays with Tommy Fleetwood. He hasn't quite been on the same level as Rory(who has?) but comes into the playoffs with Top 10 finishes in four of his last five events and ranks 10th in SG: Tee to Green over the last 24 rounds. Going back further, he has been one of the most consistent players on Tour in 2023 making 12 of his last 14 cuts with six Top 10's and nine Top 25 finishes. He has made the cut...

Before that quick trip for a couple of rounds at Royal Liverpool, Henley had made nine of his previous 10 cuts with seven Top 25 finishes. That success was a direct result of some red-hot irons as he ranks #1 in this field in SG: Approach over the last 24 rounds and to go with it he ranks 9th in fairways gained. That is a great combination for Sedgefield and it has shown as Henley returns with Top 10's in three straight years here. He is my top play in the top tier this week. Aaron Rai FedEx Cup Rank (#61) Vegas Odds (35/1) DraftKings ($8,600) FanDuel ($10,200) This range of pricing is loaded with players who are dangerously close to the bubble to get into the playoffs and will need solid weeks to solidify their spots. Rai is one of them as he has been climbing fast with some nice form with Top 25 finishes in five of his last six events with two Top 10's mixed in, as well. He is not only one of just three players who rank Top 10 in fairways gained and SG: Approach in the short term but during this hot stretch he has gained strokes in every SG category three times.
