In 24.1 innings he has 40 strikeouts against 0 walks and has allowed a single earned run. This is a terrific match-up as well, with Miami ranking in the bottom 4 in wOBA and the top 10 in strikeout rate so far this season. Burnes is expensive, but expensive for a reason, and as the only thing resembling an ace on this slate you can expect to see huge ownership in cash games. Charlie Morton FD - P 8600 DK - SP 8000 Opponent - CHC (Zach Davies) Park - ATLFD - 35.5 DK - 19.04 Some say Morton has lost a step or two, but he's still out there dealing. With 6 IP and 6+ Ks in each of his last two starts, he's bringing reliability that can be tough to find this early in the season (particularly on small slates like this). The Cubs can hit, but they also strike out a lot, ranking fourth in strikeout rate so far this season. The Braves are among the biggest favorites on the slate, and if Morton can keep the ball in the park, he could be a great cash game option. Also considered: Zack Wheeler. For big tournaments Trevor Rogers is a great play against Milwaukee. It's not great to go up against Burnes, but Milwaukee's lineup is even worse than Miami's, and Rogers has plenty of strikeout stuff for big tourneys. Catcher/First Base Freddie Freeman FD - 1B 3900 DK - 1B 6000 Opponent - CHC (Zach Davies) Park - ATLFD - 13.84 DK - 10.36 Freeman is an incredible buy-low opportunity right now. He's got an .800+ OPS in spite of a .170 BABIP. He's walking 19% of the time against a 10% BB rate, and he's under $4,000. Things are turning in very short order for Freeman. As for the match-up, prepare yourself to see a few Braves in today's article. Things have gone pear-shaped for Davies early in the 2021 season. He's walking an astounding 6.46 batters per nine innings, while striking out fewer than 6 per nine. Last year's ERA looks like a total fluke, and the Braves should eat...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 4/22/21

Before we get started, I'm not going to write up anyone from the Celtics-76ers game because there is no clarity about who will play, and who will sit. You'll have to pay attention to updates about that game as it approaches, because if the Sixers flip-flop who is playing on the 2nd half of a back to back some value could open up here. The Celtics are totally up in the air, with both Jaylen and Tatum listed as game time decisions. Stay tuned. Point Guard Terry Rozier FD - $7800 DK - $8400 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 39.32 DK - 40.83 It's a tough slate from top to bottom, but Rozier is a shining star. He's averaged 54.8 FanDuel points over his last four games, doing his best baby-Westbrook impersonation en route to flirting with a triple-double every game. He's got a nice match-up against a Chicago team that's allowed the 12th most fantasy points to opposing point guards, and in a game with little blowout risk Rozier is a picture-perfect cash game play. Coby White FD - $5800 DK - $5500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 28.28 DK - 29.82 I considered a number of guys for this slot, but ultimately landed on White. As a member of the Bulls' starting line-up he's playing 32-33 minute rotations, and Vegas putting this as a 3 point game means he's likely to get his full run. He's handling the ball a ton right now, as evidenced by the 10+ shots and 7+ assists he's logged in each of his last three games. He's under-priced to his current role, and a nice option in all formats. Also considered: Both Spurs - Murray and White. Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan FD - $7900 DK - $8500 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 39.27 DK - 39.57 A fairly priced player in basically a league average match-up? That's a dream come true on this slate. DeRozan is playing strict 37 minute rotations right now, and what's more, he's running the offense a lot more than you might think on a team with Dejounte Murray and Derrick White on the...

Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7500 DK - $7600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 42.01 DK - 43.88 Brogdon's price is just flat out wrong at this point. He played just 28 minutes in his first game back from injury, but in the 5 games since he's averaged 44.3 FanDuel points a game. That's just ridiculous production on this price point, and it doesn't hurt that the Spurs have allowed a top 10 total to opposing point guards this season. Ben Simmons FD - $7100 DK - $7800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 39.14 DK - 39.2 Speaking of elite point guards that are far too cheap, I present Mr. Ben Simmons. He seems to have overcome his rough patch with back to back 40+ FanDuel point performances, and the Warriors are woefully unequipped to deal with Philly's size. They'll have their hands full with Embiid and (hopefully) Harris, and Simmons should be able to fill it up here. Also considered: Coby White. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $8500 DK - $9200 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 46.43 DK - 47.67 While Beal is worth a little bit less than it looked like he'd be earlier this season, this FanDuel price is pretty much in joke territory. He's averaged better than 5x points per dollar on these prices in his last four games, and gets a plus match-up with the Thunder here. The Thunder are a good match-up for opposing shooting guards in any circumstance, but Shai's absence should make this spot even better. Beal's a great play in any format. Joe Ingles FD - $6300 DK - $6200 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 35.1 It's hard not to like Ingles in this one given that Mitchell is already ruled out. Against these same Lakers Ingles dropped 20 points and 14 assists, though this comes with the disclaimer that he was largely running the point in Conley's absence. Conley will be back for this one, but Ingles should still get a lot more action with Mitchell shelved. Ingles won't have the upside he showed last game, but the...

START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW!   Pitchers Joe Musgrove FD - P 10500 DK - SP 10200 Opponent - MIL (Brandon Woodruff) Park - SD FD - 37.33 DK - 20.01 It's a short slate on Monday, and with so many games with tight money lines we are in a bit of a bind. If you're looking for electric upside, you don't have to look a lot further than Joe Musgrove. The Padres' burgeoning ace has built upon 2020's break out with a bang, compiling a 1.93 xFIP (and a no-hitter!) through three starts in this young season. Musgrove had big prospect pedigree before being tainted by the Pirates, and appears ready to lean into being an ace in his first season in San Diego. Milwaukee is a fantastic match-up, with the 2nd worst wOBA in the Majors and the 6th highest K rate. Musgrove is a little pricey but should be worth it here. Dustin May FD - P 9300 DK - SP 9700 Opponent - SEA (Justus Sheffield) Park - SEA FD - 33.94 DK - 18.22 Speaking of young pitchers realizing their prospect pedigree, I present to you Dustin May. He hasn't been super-efficient thus far this season, but he's combining his characteristically great ground-ball rate with the best strikeout numbers of his career. It's just 10 innings, but the signs have been there in the past, and he doesn't need to be this good in order to justify these prices. The Dodgers are the biggest favorites on the day against a Seattle team with a top 10 strikeout rate, and on a slate like today that might be enough for cash games. Also considered: Kevin Gausman, if you need some savings. Catcher/First Base Brandon Belt FD - 1B 2300 DK - 1B 3400 Opponent - PHI (Chase Anderson) Park - PHI FD - 9.92 DK - 7.42 People were probably overly enthusiastic about last year's performance from Belt, and they are probably overly pessimistic based on this year's slow start. The truth probably lies somewhere between, with Belt projecting out as a high .700s OPS guy. He's been .080 OPS points better against righties for his career, and Anderson has to be considered below average at this point in his career. It's a reasonable hitters' park as well, and Belt is just so cheap that he helps you pay up for pricier options elsewhere. Carlos Santana FD - 1B 2600 DK -...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday 4/15/21

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday 4/15/21 Good day! Today's slate of NBA DFS games is pretty unusual. We have just 4 games going, and almost all of those games has some serious injury implications. Instead of going position by position, let's break down what you should keep an eye out for in each game. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Milwaukee at Atlanta On the Bucks' side of things, everything comes down to the status of Giannis. If he plays, you can still consider anyone in the Bucks' starting line-up in such a favorable match-up. If he sits, guys like Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Jrue Holiday become must-plays against a Hawks team that ranks in the bottom 10 of defensive efficiency this season. The Hawks present their own balls of wax. Trae Young is currently listed as questionable, and Brandon Goodwin has filled in admirably in his absence over the last two games. If Young sits, Goodwin will have 100% ownership, and there will be a trickle down effect to the rest of the team as well. Danilo Gallinari is also questionable, and John Collins has already been ruled out. If Gallo misses the Hawks will lean even harder on Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela, both of who will be great plays here. Solomon Hill started and played 30 forgettable minutes, and I probably wouldn't be interested in rolling him here unless I had to to make the money work on other good plays. All the Hawks plays get riskier if Giannis plays, since the blowout would firmly be in play, particularly if Trae and Gallo were to miss. Golden State at Cleveland The big question marks in this contest come on the Cleveland side, with both Collin Sexton and Darius Garland battling injuries. Garland wound up playing Wednesday night, but there's no guarantee that that means he'll suit up for the second half of the back to back here. Likewise, Sexton missing Wednesday doesn't mean he'll miss here. You'll also have to keep an eye on the Cavs' bigs, with Nance and Allen both returning from injury on Wednesday as well. As such, there isn't a whole lot we can say this early. Whoever is left standing could be a solid...

After a rain delay on Saturday, Hideki came out firing and finished the back 9 with just 30 strokes giving himself a four-stroke lead going into Sunday. His first of the day went into the trees leading to a bogey but he rebounded quick with a birdie on the next hole and while the lead had shrunk to two strokes a few times he went into eh final hole needing just a bogey to capture the Green Jacket. He needed every shot as he missed a short par putt but either way, got the job done. This week the PGA Tour rolls into Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Harbour Town Golf Links for the 2021 RBC Heritage. The event returns to its annual April date after being played in late June a year ago due to the new COVID scheduling. The field is loaded at the top with five(DJ, Morikawa, Hatton, Webb, Cantlay) of the World's Top 10 golfers and has 28 of the Top 50 in the World teeing it up this week. Harbour Town GL is a Pete Dye design which, like last week, puts emphasis on precision and accuracy much more than distance. It shows in the results as each...
