What's also interesting is how small these prize pools are. The main reason for that is because the NFL is kicking off but we still need our baseball fix. With that in mind, let's get into it! Pitchers You can't go too wrong with the big money guys: Max Scherzer and Charlie Morton. But you know about those guys already, so I figured I'd write up a few guys who might be more off your radar. Frankie Montas FD - P 6800 DK - SP 9400 Opponent - TEX (Lance Lynn) Park - TEX FD - 34.66 DK - 18.37 Man, it's tough to ride a guy with a 5.73 ERA and 1.54 WHIP but Montas is in a great spot to succeed here. The reason we say that is because he gets to face the Rangers. This offense currently ranks dead-last in runs scored, 22nd in K rate and 29th in wOBA. That's the perfect opportunity for Montas to have a rebound start, coming off one of his best starts of the season. This is a guy who's shown ace capability in the past too, maintaining a 2.63 ERA and 1.11 WHIP last season. Vegas appears to like him too, making him a -140 favorite in game with a total of 8. Fantastic buy low opportunity on FanDuel. Brad Keller FD - P 8100 DK - SP 6800 Opponent - PIT (Chad Kuhl) Park - KC FD - 30.27 DK - 14.49 This DraftKings price blows my mind. Anytime anyone faces the Pirates, they should be one of the highest-priced pitchers on the slate. The reason for that is because they currently rank 29th in runs scored, 25th in K rate and dead-last in both wOBA and OPS. That's fantastic news for Keller, who's pitching to a 2.60 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in what's become a breakout season. That obviously makes him one of the best values of the day, entering this matchup as a -141 favorite, with a total of 8.5. Catcher/First Base Luke Voit FD - 1B 3900 DK - 1B 5400 Opponent - BAL (John Means) Park - NYY FD - 12.17 DK - 9.13 This is easily one of the best plays of the day. We'll start things off by talking about his matchup, facing a...

Without the Ryder Cup happening this year we immediately jump back into action and start the 2020-21 season with a trip to Silverado Resort & Spa for the Safeway Open. While we have been treated to some terrific fields since the return of golf(that includes the non WGC's, Majors, and Playoff events), this is not one of those weeks. There are no players ranked inside the Top 25 and only five who rank Top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Outside that Top 50 but #1 in our hearts this week is Phil Mickelson who is coming off a win in his very first Champions Tour event. This event has changed names(previously Frys.com Open) and has been played at Silverado Resort & Spa since the 2015-16 season giving us six years of course history. The fairways at Silverado are narrow which has produced a low driving accuracy number which sits around 50% each year. This doesn't mean we need accuracy guys mostly because the rough is not nearly as penal(around 2.5-3") which shows as the average GIR over the same sample size is between 65% and 70%. Looking at the hole composition, nine fo the 10 par 4 holes are under 450 yards so when breaking down a player's iron game, we are most likely going to see a ton of approaches coming in the mid ranges(125-175 yards). All four par 5's are reachable in two by almost everyone in the field and this has led to an average around 30 eagles per event. For the most part, I will be looking at players who are trending in the ball striking and...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 1 Football season is back! For now. Hopefully forever. For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! Quarterbacks Russell Wilson FD 8400 DK 7000 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 21.63 DK - 21.86Wilson comes out of the gate playing in the game with the second-highest total (49) on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. He’ll get dome conditions against the Falcons who ranked 21st in defensive DVOA against the pass in 2019. Wilson threw for the sixth-most yards in the NFL last season despite attempting about 100 or more fewer passes than anyone else in the group above him. His passing yards and passing touchdowns per attempt were easily the best in the league. He loses Doug Baldwin, and the Seahawks still love to run the ball, but Wilson is just so damn efficient, throwing only five interceptions last season while ranking sixth in quarterback rushing yards. It will cost you, but he’s about as safe as it comes. Teddy Bridgewater FD 6800 DK 5900 Opponent LVProj Points FD - 18.59 DK - 19.25Bridgewater will take over behind center for the Panthers this season after Cam Newton and Kyle Allen have departed the team. Bridgewater walks into an advantageous situation with the best pass-catching running back in McCaffery along with a full complement of wide receiver weapons in DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, and the newly-acquired Robby Anderson. Bridgewater started five games for the Saints last season in place of an injured Drew Brees and was effective, completing almost 70% of his passes with a 9:2 TD:INT rate. Sure, he has Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara there as well, but the accuracy has never been an issue even back to his time in Minnesota. This game has the fourth-highest total of the main slate with the Panthers 3-point home dogs to the Raiders. I love the price on Bridgewater here in what should be a close game. Carson Wentz FD 7700 DK 6300 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 19.59 DK - 20.02 Wentz has to be one of the most slept on quarterbacks in the NFL. No, he hasn't turned into a Russell Wilson/Lamar Jackson/Deshaun Watson type, but he's still awfully good. In his last five games last season...

Heat (-3.5) vs. Bucks (+3.5) The Bucks pulled off a surprise win on Sunday after Giannis went down with a sprained ankle early in the second quarter. The rest of the troops rallied to pull it out in overtime to avoid the sweep. You have to hand it to them for playing tough and keeping the series alive for another day. Of course, most of this short slate comes down to the Giannis Antetokounmpo (FD $10600 DK $11100) health. If he plays and is given the all-clear I think you could consider playing him. He put up almost 30 FanDuel points in just 11 minutes in game four and was well on his way to crushing value before the ankle thing. That being said, if he doesn’t play then we are looking at stacking the rest of the crew. Khris Middleton (FD $8000 DK $8600) would be a near 100% play if Giannis sits. The former took over the game on Sunday, dropping 36 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in 48 minutes, leading the team with 28 shots. Eric Bledsoe (FD $5200 DK $6200) has been a play regardless and played 35 minutes in regulation last time out. He struggled from beyond the arc, going 0-6 from three and finished with only 14 points but did chip in 10 rebounds and six assists. And finally, Donte Divincenzo (FD $4500 DK $3500) would probably join the starting lineup seeing as how he and George Hill (FD $4800 DK $4400) picked up almost all of the non-Gianni minutes. Both would be excellent value plays on this slate. Like I said, we will likely be sweating this news right up until lock as he’s trending towards a true game-time decision. On the Heat side, Bam Adebayo (FD $8500 DK $8700) has had a fantastic series, averaging 38 minutes a game with 18 points, 14 rebounds and five assists per game. The price is still coming up, but at a weaker PF position (with Anthony Davis now a C) he is a very safe play. With Giannis off the court, the Heat were able to play Duncan Robinson (FD $5300 DK $4700) more minutes...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday 9/7/20

Celtics (-1) vs. Raptors (+1) After falling down 0-2 to start the series, the Raptors have clawed their way back in to it than’s the a buzzer beater on Thursday and another win on Saturday. We are now knotted up at two games apiece entering a pivotal game five. Toronto is unapologetically running four of their five starters huge, huge minutes with Pascal Siakam (FD $8400 DK $8100), Kyle Lowry (FD $9200 DK $8200) and Fred Vanvleet (FD $7900 DK $7800) all going 44 or more minutes in game four. There is such a fantastic fantasy floor when this is the case and it isn’t a new thing for the Raptors. They’ve done this much of the bubble and most of the year.VanVleet has gotten back on track with the shooting, going 5-11 from three in game four though only finished with 17 points. The 6-19 from the field held him back some and I do think there’s still some upside at his prices if he really dials it in for a games. Lowry also struggled some from the field going 5-16 in his 44 minutes but did knock down all eight free throws on his way to 22 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Stacking both him and VanVleet in the backcourt is probably something like the cash game chalk on this Monday slate. Siakam had his best game of the series and led the team in shots with 23. The three-point shooting was completely terrible (2-13) and honestly Toronto should feel a bit blessed that they won this game. Siakam is behind the other two guys (for me) in terms of cash game safety. On the flip side, Boston ran its own trio of Kemba Walker (FD $8300 DK $8000), Jayson Tatum (FD $9400 DK $9300) and Marcus Smart (FD $5700 DK $6500) more than 40 minutes in the last game. All three struggled to varying extents but for our purposes, we are simply interested in the minutes because the production, theoretically speaking, should follow suit. We’ve been on this path and I still think it’s mostly correct, but stacking 2-4 of these guys in cash feels like the...

Pitchers Shane Bieber FD - P 11800 DK - SP 11000 Opponent - MIL (Brett Anderson) Park - CLE FD - 50.12 DK - 27.98 Bieber is the frontrunner for AL Cy Young and there's even some discussion that he's in the running for MVP as well. Anytime a pitcher is in consideration for MVP, you know he's beasting. So far this season, Bieber has a 1.20 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 14.4 K/9 rate. That makes him the best pitcher in fantasy right now and it looks even better when you consider this matchup. The Brewers currently rank 26th in runs scored and 29th in K rate. That has Bieber and the Indians entering this matchup as a -250 favorite. Rich Hill FD - P 6600 DK - SP 7000 Opponent - DET (Casey Mize) Park - MIN FD - 33.34 DK - 17.79 This might be a risky play with the way Hill is pitching this season but it could also be the best-per dollar play out there. The biggest reason we like him is the matchup, facing a Detroit team who ranks 23rd in OBP, 25th in runs scored and dead-last in K rate. The Motor City Kitties had even crappier numbers last season and it's simply one of the worst lineups in baseball. Hill has been one of the best pitchers over the last five years too, pitching to a 2.95 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 11.4 K.9 rate since 2015. Not to mention, Hill is a -190 favorite in this game. Catcher/First Base Matt Olson FD - 1B 3000 DK - 1B 4400 Opponent - SD (Garrett Richards) Park - OAK FD - 12.03 DK - 8.95 Olson has been struggling a bit but it's lowered his price way too much. While he is hitting just .168, 10 homers show why he's so dangerous. Since 2017, Olson's got a .510 SLG and .850 OPS, doing the majority of that damage against right-handed pitching. In fact, Olson is flirting with a .900 OPS against righties in that same span and we love that he got three hits on Saturday. Not to mention, Garrett Richards has a 9.95 ERA and 2.21 WHIP over his last three starts. Eric Thames FD - 1B 2500 DK - 1B 3400 Opponent - ATL (Josh Tomlin) Park - ATL FD - 9.88 DK - 7.37 Thames is going to remain in these articles anytime he faces righty. The main reason for that is because he...
