Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9700 DK - $10300 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 49.08 DK - 51.79 Lillard was a chalk option on Saturday night, and his price hasn't totally accounted for McCollum's shots falling out of the lineup. You're talking about putting 20 shots back into the ecosystem, and given the Trail Blazers' relative lack of scorers, Lillard rates to be the prime beneficiary. We all saw what Lillard did without McCollum last season, and we expect him to pick up that mantle against the Thunder tonight. Jalen Brunson FD - $4300 DK - $4700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 28.82 DK - 30.02 With Richardson, Kleber, and Finney-Smith out due to health and safety protocols, Brunson has been in line for 30+ minute rotations. He had topped 27 FanDuel points in back to back games before the Mavs were blown out by the Rockets, and the 18 he scored against Houston is something like his floor. He's obviously not a play if he drops out of the starting lineup, but we're happy to keep riding the wave in the meantime. Also considered: Eric Bledsoe. Shooting Guard Fred Vanvleet FD - $7900 DK - $7900 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 42.52 DK - 44.1 Norman Powell FD - $5600 DK - $5200 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 28.34 DK - 29.28 Powell and VanVleet were both chalk options on a small slate yesterday thanks to Kyle Lowry missing his second straight game with a foot issue. Powell was phenomenal, playing 36 minutes and topping 30 fantasy points for the second straight game. VanVleet was solid as well, topping 40 fantasy points thanks to his increased time of possession. It's the second game of a two-game series with the Pacers, so counting on these two for similar production here seems perfectly reasonable. Both guys get a little worse if Siakam returns, though there is no note on his status as of this writing. Tim Hardaway Jr. FD - $5200 DK - $5600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 30.39 DK - 32.18 Shooting guard gets pretty tough if the Toronto...

As expected, we saw a ton of scoring at the Sony Open in Hawaii last week as Kevin Na took home the trophy with a -21 winning score. This week the PGA Tour heads back to the mainland and La Quinta, California for The American Express. For those who follow golf closely(pretty much anyone reading this), this is the event that kicks off pro-am season and is usually a three-course rotation with a 54-hole cut. With COVID restrictions, there will be no Pro-Am and there will only be two courses(PGA West Stadium & Nicklaus Tournament) used with a normal cut after two rounds. This is the point of the article where you fist pump in glory as no one really likes the Pro-Am, do they?? The field saw am early WD from Jon Rahm and while it is on the weaker side overall, does feature Patrick Cantlay, Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, and Matthew Wolff, all of which rank inside the Top 15 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Before getting into the picks, let's take a look at the course's, previous winners, and then some key stats from my model. Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sony Open

The PGA Tour stays in Hawaii this week but jumps north to O'ahu Island for the Sony Open and the first full-field event of 2021. That field is led by three of the World's Top 10 golfers(Webb Simpson, Patrick Reed, Adam Scott) but is a little weaker overall with just 17 of the World's Top 50 teeing it up this week. The host course, Waialae Country Club, is a Par 70 listed at 7,044 yards on the scoreboard. The fairways may not be nearly as wide as last week but the cut-makers are still hitting over 65% fairways on average over the last five years. This also elevates the average GIR%(around 70%) on a yearly basis which then also produces some very low scores. Outside of last year when the first two rounds were very windy leading to a lower -11 winning score, the winner has made it to at least -17 in seven straight events. For fantasy, remember with this full-field event, we have a cut of Top 65 and ties after the first two rounds. For cash games, this means we are back to trying to get all six golfers through to the weekend which I like trying to do with a balanced build. In GPP, we are also going to need 6/6 to cash anything substantial but construction can be much different as we want to maximize our upside which also can present more risk. Before getting into the picks lets look at the course and a few of my core stats in my model. The Course Waialae Country Club Par 70 - 7,044 Yards Greens - Bermuda **Click the...

Daily Fantasy Football Game by Game Breakdowns Sunday’s FanDuel and DraftKings Slates

Daily Fantasy Football Game by Game Breakdowns Sunday's FanDuel and DraftKings Slates After a wild wildcard round, the NFL barrels forward into the divisional round this week. The competition picks up this week with the return of the new #1 seeds, but it doesn't necessarily mean we're only in for close games. Sunday's slate brings us the two biggest totals of the weekend, so we should have enough interesting plays to make a solid squad. Let's dive in. Plus, check out our picks for Saturday's Divisional Round Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings.   Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time we're offering a free one week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Cleveland Browns (+10) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-10) Our Sunday slate kicks off with the game with the largest spread on the slate, with the defending Superbowl Champs taking on the "surprise team" of round one. The Browns rode good play and good fortune past the big-brother Steelers, and the football world is left wondering if last week was their Superbowl, or if they'll get up to take down the Chiefs this week. The Chiefs, meanwhile, haven't played a meaningful game in weeks, and have one significant piece of injury news we'll need to keep an eye on. Regardless, Vegas sees this as a game with a huge total, so there should be plenty of fantasy production to go around. Let's have a look. Cleveland Browns On a two-game slate, we're not going to be able to fully ignore any team. While we aren't often excited to run guys as a ten-point under-dog, the Browns have shown enough in the passing game that I think we can take a stab here. We will largely be ignoring Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt for cash games, though it's worth pointing out that there are game-scripts where the Browns get out ahead early and Chubb winds up being a solid big tournament option. Let's have a look at our cash options. Jarvis Landry FD 6900 DK 5600 Opponent KC Proj Points FD - 13.25 DK - 16.22 Rashard Higgins FD 5300 DK 4100 Opponent KC Proj Points FD - 11.5 DK - 13.81 Landry and Higgins exemplify the types of questions we have to ask ourselves every single week in DFS. On one hand, we have Landry, whose targets and production have been more consistent throughout the year. He's coming off a great game against the Steelers and has topped 13.9 FanDuel points in 5 of his last...

Daily Fantasy Football Game by Game Breakdowns Sunday’s FanDuel and DraftKings Slates

Daily Fantasy Football Game by Game Breakdowns Sunday's FanDuel and DraftKings Slates The NFL managed to make it through all 256 games of the regular season, and now we get to sit and pray that Covid doesn't ruin the playoffs. With the Saints apparently narrowly avoiding losing their running backs to the plague, it looks like we might get a normal week of football after all. Let's go game by game and see where we can find a little DFS value. Plus, check out our picks for Saturday's Divisional Round Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. Want access to the projections that power these picks? START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Tennessee Titans (3.5) vs. Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) Things kick off on Sunday with a rematch of one of the best games of the regular season, a game that saw the Titans win on a 29-yard touchdown run from Derrick Henry in overtime. Blessedly, this was a week where both teams were mostly healthy, and there's a lot we can learn from how each team game-planned against the other. Let's take a look at the DFS relevant plays on both sides. Tennessee Titans Derrick Henry FD 10200 DK 9200 Opponent BAL Proj Points FD - 22.44 DK - 23.48 One thing that was clear when these two teams met in November was that the Titans were prepared to live and die with Derrick Henry. In spite of falling behind by 11 points in the second quarter, Henry touched the ball 30 times for 132 yards. Baltimore was tough against the run this season, but the playoffs are a time where we are going to have to recalibrate our expectations about match-ups. We're looking at short slates with good teams, and you just aren't going to get to run Henry against teams like the Texans. Now price might wind up making Henry miss the cut, but don't fret this spot based on match-up or opportunity. Ryan Tannehill FD 8200 DK 6600 Opponent BAL Proj Points FD - 18.77 DK - 19.45 Our system recommends Lamar Jackson as the top overall cash game play on both sites, but Tannehill is the next man up. While Jackson is obviously the superior DFS QB, Tannehill brings an interesting skill set to the table in his own right. The Titans have been using Tannehill's rushing ability in the red zone far more often toward the end of the season, with RT going for 5 rushing touchdowns in the Titans'...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Betting Guide for DraftKings & FanDuel – Sentry Tournament of Champions

We did get to see Charlie Woods look like the next coming of....well his dad and also got to see him trash talk Justin Thomas which was wildly entertaining. It was Thomas and his father who got the last laugh, however, winning the event. We kick off(sorry NFL still rolling) the 2021 portion of the season with a handshake of sorts as the Tournament of Champions is invite-only to winners from the previous calendar year. This year's field has 42 players including eight of the Top 10 players in the Official World Golf Rankings and each of the last four winners(JT, Xander, DJ, JT). For fantasy, this is a no-cut event so all 42 players will play four rounds and this can lead to a much more viable stars and scrubs strategy. You don't have to worry about a slow start derailing your lineup on Thursday and with a limited field the scrubs are not actually scrubs. Before getting into the picks, let's take a look at the course, scorecard, and some of my key stats. The Course Plantation Course at Kapalua Par 73 - 7,596 Yards Greens -Bermuda **Click the image above to see a hole by hole breakdown from PGATour.com** Previous Five Winners 2020 - Justin Thomas(-14) 2019 - Xander Schauffele(-23) 2018 - Dustin Johnson(-24) 2017 - Justin Thomas(-22) 2016 - Jordan Spieth(-30) Top Stats in the Model Strokes Gained: Approach/Proximity With some of the widest, most forgiving fairways on Tour, it really takes the emphasis off hitting them(as everyone will) and shifts the focus to who...
