After an impressive rookie season, he has picked right up where he left off with a 2.45 ERA/3.08 xFIP over four starts while allowing just 12 hits across 22 innings pitched. Not only has he provided some safety in terms of going deep and limiting hits, but he has also provided elite upside with a league-leading 41% K rate. He and the Braves are -240 home favourites against a Marlins team that has been below-average overall(.309 wOBA/93 wRC+/23.6% K rate) and against right-handed pitching(.302 wOBA/89 wRC+/24.3% K rate). Strider is worth every penny and our top pitcher in all formats on Monday. Colin Rea FD - P 7200 DK - RP 7000 Opponent - DET (Matthew Boyd) Park - MIL FD - 30.6 DK - 16.11 The Brewers are set to give the ball to Rea for a third time this season as he acts as a stop-gap while the team deals with multiple injuries to their rotation. He has looked very solid in his first two starts allowing one earned run and striking out six Padres and looked much better than the numbers showed against Seattle thanks to one bad inning in the middle of the outing. The options are limited for value on this main slate so let's target this strong matchup against the Tigers who are bottom 3 in almost every hitting category including the second-worst K rate(26.1%) in the league. Catcher/First Base Vladimir Guerrero Jr. FD 3900 DK 5700 Opponent - CHW (Lance Lynn) Park - CHW FD - 13.21 DK - 9.94 The Jays' offence has surprisingly only been league-average thus far but is definitely capable of big things with one of the deepest lineups in the league. They are second in implied runs on Monday and at a tougher position for fantasy, I am going to be paying up for Vlad Jr. who appears to be on another quest for the American League MVP(runner-up in 2021). In 131 playoff games, Curry is averaging 26.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. That's not far off of his year-long averages, posting a 50-point average in the regular season. The slight uptick in shot attempts and minutes makes Curry even more enticing because he could be looking at 40 minutes in this must-win game. Sacramento is a spectacular matchup too, with the Kings ranked 26th in both points allowed and defensive efficiency in the regular season. That's on full display when you see that Curry has at least 41 fantasy points in all six of their matchups this year. De'Aaron Fox FD - $10200 DK - $9000 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 46.16 DK - 47.37 Fox can go off against anyone, but this couldn't be a better matchup. De'Aaron is considered the fastest player in the NBA, which is scary since Golden State plays at the fastest pace in the league. That means more opportunities to provide fantasy value, and Fox has been fantastic whenever he sees them. He's scored at least 53 DraftKings points in all three games of this series, scoring at least 47 DK points in five of six meetings with the Warriors this year. This first-time All-Star also provided a 43-point average in the regular season, and it's clear that he's well on his way to superstardom. What's interesting about this Wednesday card is that we have almost every superstar on the injury report. That's rare at this time of the year, but it feels like we could be without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant. That would be massive for this DFS card, so let's kick things off with someone benefiting from one of those absences. Point Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $9000 DK - $8200 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 44.13 DK - 45.57 This is one of the best two-way players in the NBA, and he always brings it when Milwaukee is in the postseason. That was on full display in Game 1, with Holiday dropping 53 DraftKings points, despite shooting 6-of-18 from the field. The massive game is no surprise with the boost in usage, averaging nearly 50 fantasy points per game when Antetokounmpo has been sidelined this year. Jrue is also carrying over some stellar form, scoring at least 53 fantasy points in three straight outings. Facing Miami usually concerns us, but Holiday has at least 45 DK points in three of their five meetings this year. If Giannis is out, Holiday needs to be in every lineup out there! Jamal Murray FD - $8700 DK - $7600 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 38.77 DK - 40.18 People might forget this, but Murray was one of the best playoff players before his ACL tear. In 34 career playoff games, Murray is averaging 24.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. That's the fantastic form we've seen from Murray for a month, averaging 40 DK points per game over his final 34 games. What's made Murray so magnificent in the postseason is his role, playing 38 minutes a night while attempting 19 shots a game. That sort of role would make anyone a great option, and we haven't even discussed this matchup. Pitchers Jacob deGrom FD 10600 DK 10100 Opponent - KC (Jordan Lyles) Park - KC FD - 42.45 DK - 24.63 After struggling in his first start with his new team, deGrom bounced back in a big way and returned to elite status. He went six and seven innings allowing three earned runs but more importantly, has struck out 20 and walked just two in those starts with an insane 21% swinging strike rate. He now gets an elite matchup against the Royals' team that ranks 29th in wOBA(.273), 30th in wRC+(65), and 29th in strikeout rate(26%). Everything lines up for a dominant start and he is easily our top starting pitcher in all formats. Jack Flaherty FD 8300 DK 7800 Opponent - ARI (Merrill Kelly) Park - ARI FD - 29.24 DK - 15.44 It has been a very interesting start to the season for Flaherty after missing most of last year with an injury. Despite walking an incredible 13 batters over his first two starts, he was able to contain the damage and only allowed two earned runs combined. He now appears to have the control issues figured out as he went into Coors and struck out six while walking one, and allowed just one earned. The price goes up slightly but he also gets a plus home matchup against the Diamondbacks who are 24th in wOBA(.308)and 26th in wRC+(85) on the season. Flaherty is my favourite PTS/$ SP2 on this slate. Also Consider: Corbin Burnes(MIL) who bounced back in a big way his last start going 8 IP, allowing just three hits and no earned runs while striking out eight. Tougher matchup against a tough Mariners team but he is massively underpriced on DraftKings  Catcher/First Base Nathaniel Lowe FD 3300 DK 4400 Opponent - KC (Jordan Lyles) Park - KC FD - 11.11 DK - 8.45 The position is loaded with elite, high-upside plays and Cron is likely the chalk at home in Coors but I am going with a more balanced approach to help me get to two top pitchers. Lowe may lack the overall upside of those priced above him but he has been very consistent to start the season and enters tonight with hits in 11 straight games including eight extra-base hits. He now gets a plus matchup against Jordan Lyles who has given up 16 hits and nine earned runs in his last two...

The talented guard has scored at least 37 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 18 games. He's also averaging 41 DK points per game in that span, doing a ton of playmaking with Nikola Jokic swallowing up so many defenders. That fantastic form should carry over well against Minnesota, ranked 19th in points allowed while surrendering the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. In their most recent meeting, Murray totaled 42 fantasy points! Mike Conley FD - $6900 DK - $6400 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 31.22 DK - 31.89 Not many people talked about Minnesota acquiring Conley at the trade deadline, and it's hard to understand why. This veteran has come in and become one of their leaders, scoring 31 and 44 DK points in the T'Wolves two play-in games. We've seen him play like that since the trade, with Conley compiling a 32-point average across his last 17 outings. That's all you can ask for from a sub-$7K player, and you know Minnesota will lean on their veteran in this opening road playoff game. He's had success against Denver all year, averaging 30 DK points per game in their two matchups. That's no surprise since the Nuggets own a 23rd OPRK against opposing PGs. Pitchers Jordan Montgomery FD 9400 DK 8500 Opponent - PIT (Vince Velasquez) Park - PIT FD - 32.95 DK - 17.27 The main slate provides us an excellent path to a very balanced approach at starting pitching and it starts with Jordan Montgomery who checks all the boxes. After an average-at-best start to the season(5 IP, 3 ER, 3 K's), Monty bounced back in his last start in Milwaukee striking out nine Brewers over seven innings while allowing just three hits and no earned runs. He is now a huge -220 home favourite against a Pirates team that has started the season in the bottom half of hitting and will now be without O'Neill Cruz for the next 4-5 months. All things considered, Montgomery is my favourite pitcher on this slate. Chris Bassitt FD 7300 DK 8200 Opponent - DET (Spencer Turnbull) Park - DET FD - 33.91 DK - 17.79 We have another heavy favourite(-230) in Chris Bassitt who has had a very similar start to the season as Montgomery. After an atrocious start to his Bue Jays career against the Cardinals(9ER), he bounced back against an improved Angels team led by two future Hall of Famers striking out five and allowing just two hits. Even better news as he continues to trend up is the matchup against a Tigers team that sits dead last in wOBA and wRC+ and is striking out nearly 27% of the time. I love stacking Monty and Bassitt together on DraftKings and on FanDuel we are getting Bassitt at a huge discount and is easily our top PTS/$ option tonight. Both hitters have been red-hot to start the season with identical .491 on-base percentages and while they are both lacking power at the moment they have 19 RBI combined and both have crushed right-handed pitching to over a .445 wOBA.
