Guards Chris Paul FD - $8000 DK - $7700 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 42.71 DK - 44.94 The Suns are getting a bit healthier with Chris Paul returning this past Sunday and looking good with back-to-back double-doubles leading to wins in both games. He checks all the boxes on Thursday starting with the matchup against the Mavs who rank 25th in defensive efficiency and fantasy points against guards. He should also continue to see an uptick in volume as the Suns will be without Booker, Payne, and Shamet and with that is definitely a nice buy-low candidate that is in play in all formats. Darius Garland FD - $8400 DK - $8600 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 39.59 DK - 41.07 Caris LeVert FD - $5500 DK - $5600 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 17.29 DK - 17.89 Donovan Mitchell sat out Wednesday's practice after aggravating his groin injury upon returning to the starting lineup on Tuesday. As of now, I assume he is not playing, which leads to Garland and LeVert again getting the opportunity to shine. With Mitchell out last week, Garland crushed for fantasy with 21 or more points in all three games, double-doubles in two of three while tallying 45 or more fantasy points in each of those. LeVert stepped into the starting lineup for those three games and was also terrific for fantasy getting double-digit shots in each and providing 30 or more fantasy points in each game. With an elite matchup against the Rockets, Garland is in play for me no matter what but we will need to stay tuned on the Mitchell news and if he is out, LeVert is a top play in all formats. Jalen Green FD - $8100 DK - $7800 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 35.64 DK - 39.89 The other side of this game isn't providing as friendly of a matchup as the Cavs are #2 in defensive efficiency but there is a lot to like about Jalen Green tonight. You likely aren't using him in cash games at his elevated price but for the Cavs to hit their ceiling the Rockets will need to keep it close and Green is the player who can lead that charge making this an excellent GPP stacking situation. Even with a dud last...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday 1/25/23
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/25/23 I'm writing this at the end of this Lakers-Clippers game, and it's crazy just how good these offenses are nowadays. The Clippers are about to shoot 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from three, which is strangely not a rare occurrence in today's basketball. LeBron James also set a career-high with nine threes, and it's just wild watching these offenses go crazy night after night. We're surely going to have some of that here because we have 10 games in action! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard T.J. McConnell FD - $6700 DK - $6000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.87 DK - 38.52 There will always be a sweet spot in my heart for McConnell because he was a key piece to my largest cash ever. That's just what this guy does, though, because he always steps up when Indiana needs him to fill in. He's starting at point guard now that Tyrese Haliburton is injured, scoring at least 36 DraftKings points in six of his last eight games. McConnell has also maintained a 38-point average in that span, and it's no surprise with the way this guy stuffs the stat sheet. That should be easy to do against Orlando, with the Magic owning a 21st OPRK against opposing guards this season. He actually played 31 minutes off the bench in their last matchup with the Magic, mauling them to the tune of 48 DraftKings points! Tre Jones FD - $6500 DK - $6200 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 32.05 DK - 31.97 This Spurs team sucks, but they have some decent pieces. Jones is not an exciting point guard, but this guy is too reliable to be sitting around $6,000 on both sites. The former Duke guard has at least 24 DraftKings points in 42 of 46 games this year, scoring at least 29 fantasy points in 11 of his last 14 games. The recent surge is no surprise since Jones is being asked to do more with Devin Vassell out, averaging 33 fantasy points per game in that span. We expect that total to be easy to reach against the Lakers, ranked third in pace and 26th...

This week the PGA Tour stays in Cali and heads to Torrey Pines Golf Course for the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open. Like last week, we have another multi-course rotation with players playing one round on the South and North courses on Thursday and Friday before the Top 65 & ties move on to play the South Course on Saturday and Sunday. Another similarity to last week is the elite field led by five of the Top 10 and nine of the Top 25 players in the Official World Golf Rankings are teeing it up this week. One quick note before moving into the course, stats, and picks. To not interfere with the NFL Playoffs, this week's event will be played from Wednesday to Saturday. With three of the four rounds(for those who make the cut) played on the South course, this is where I will concentrate my research and base my stats model around this week. With the North course playing much easier(at least a stroke easier in each of the last five years and over 3.5 strokes easier last year), it will be important to focus there when constructing showdown lineups for the first two rounds. Both courses are Par 72 setups with the biggest difference being distance as the North Course is listed at 7,258 yards while the South Course is listed at a whopping 7,765 yards. This immediately brings two things to the forefront when building models and it starts with Driving Distance which is huge in navigating the seven Par 4's that are over 450 yards and two Par 5's that stretch over...

Guards Damian Lillard FD - $10200 DK - $10100 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 48.41 DK - 50.77 There are only four players at $10K and above on DraftKings tonight and somehow Lillard is the cheapest of that group despite being in one of the best stretches of his season. Over the last seven games, he is shooting over 50% from the field on 22 shots a game(11 from beyond the arc) while tallying 50 or more fantasy points in six of those games while averaging 56.5 combined. He and the Trail Blazers now get the best matchup on the board against the Spurs who are dead last in defensive efficiency and fantasy points to guards. Fire up Lillard in all formats. Derrick White FD - $5500 DK - $5400 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 31.62 DK - 31.49 Both Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon have already been ruled out for this game which opens up about 20 shots per game and a ton of minutes at the point guard position. White is a very shooting dependant guard who has been a roller coaster for fantasy but the good news is that he sees a near 3% usage boost with both Brogdon and Smart off the floor and becomes a near fantasy point-per-minute player. At a mid $5K price tag combined with a plus matchup against the Magic's 23rd-ranked defence, I have White as a core play in all formats. Mike Conley FD - $5700 DK - $5300 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 27.59 DK - 28.07 The game totals on this slate are a buffet of points with all seven coming in at 230 or higher but this game is one of my favorites to target as these teams run 10th and 11th in pace and both rank outside the Top 25 in defensive efficiency. The first piece that stands out is Mike Conley who has been very consistent in the short term tallying 30 or more fantasy points in four straight on the back of 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 45 assists per game. Despite this nice run, Conley's price has stayed flat and in the mid $5K range which, in this matchup, make him a core play for me in all formats. Also Consider: Terry Rozier(CHA) if LaMelo ball sits out again....
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday,1/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 1/22/23 This feels crazy to say, but we crossed the halfway point earlier in the week. The season always feels like it starts off with a crawl, but then it's randomly over before you know it. The All-Star break is less than a month away as well, and it'll be fun to see what these teams do prior to that trade deadline. A few teams need to make some desperate moves, and others need to rebuild for the future. We still have some time to get to that point, but it's something worth monitoring over the coming weeks! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9600 DK - $10000 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 46.27 DK - 47.67 Irving has always looked like one of the best players in the NBA, and he's showing that with Kevin Durant sidelined. With the former MVP off the floor this season, Kyrie has compiled a 33 percent usage rate while averaging 1.5 DK points per minute. That's on full display when you see that Irving has scored 84 and 62 DraftKings points in his last two outings. He's been remarkably consistent over the last two months, too, scoring at least 33 DK points in 20 straight games, while generating a 46-point average in that span. Those totals should be easy to reach against Golden State, who rank 26th in points allowed while surrendering the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. Jamal Murray FD - $7900 DK - $6800 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 39.59 DK - 40.8 As someone who had ACL surgery within weeks of Murray, it's been fun watching him recapture his form. This guy was one of the best players in the bubble back in 2020, and we're seeing flashes of that stud recently. Murray has at least 41 DraftKings points in four of his last five games, tallying a 38-point average across his last 14 outings. That's really all you can ask for from a $7K player, and we've seen this guy get to a $9K price tag in the past. A matchup with Oklahoma City is a good way to keep that ticker pointing up, with the Thunder...

Guards Dejounte Murray FD - $8600 DK - $8300 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 41.51 DK - 44.08 Terry Rozier FD - $8100 DK - $7600 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 38.7 DK - 42.58 It's a bloodbath of injuries at the guard position tonight with six of the Top 7 in pricing either ruled out, doubtful or at-best, questionable. This has me targeting a balanced approach and it starts with the only game between two teams who both run top 10 in pace. Let's start with the home favourite Hawks who have two very good to elite guards but it's Murray who has stood out lately. He has shown he is much better with Trae in the lineup averaging 50 fantasy points a game over the five games since Trae returned. What I like most is the very high floor which comes from his contributions in every area as he is averaging 26.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and seven assists over those five games with similar numbers on the season. On the other side of this high-paced game, we have Terry Rozier who is set to take on a large role with LaMelo Ball doubtful after leaving Wednesday's game with an ankle sprain. Rozier ended up taking a team-high 24 shots in that game and averaged 21.4 shots over a 10-game stretch when Ball was out last. Rozier was terrific fantasy-wise during that stretch averaging 39.8 DraftKings points which our system sees him topping tonight in this plus matchup. Lock and load on both guards in this game. Tyrese Maxey FD - $6000 DK - $6100 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 26.56 DK - 29.19 This one is a bit speculative early in the day but James Harden is questionable after picking up an injury in the 76ers' last game. My guess is they will take it easy with their star guard which means some minutes and opportunities would most definitely open up tonight. Enter Tyrese Maxey who has seen his price drop lately after three straight games coming off the bench. Looking back, he was terrific in Harden's absence in late November averaging 20.8 points on 19.7 shots over a six-game stretch while delivering over 37 fantasy points a game. If Harden is out, he is a great play in all formats. Also Consider:...
