Guards LaMelo Ball FD - $10300 DK - $10300 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 50.71 DK - 52.89 All eyes will be on this game as it features the only two teams ranked outside the Top 20 in defensive efficiency. For me, it starts with LaMelo who has picked up where he left off before the break and opened the second half with back-to-back double-doubles, one with rebounds, and one with assists. Going back to the end of January, Ball has been one of the hottest players in the league nearly averaging a triple-double on 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists for just shy of 55 fantasy points per game. On this smaller slate, he is my top guard and top overall play on both sites. Jaden Ivey FD - $6000 DK - $5600 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 30.66 DK - 33.71 On the other side of this fantasy-friendly matchup, we have another player who has been producing excellent PTS/$ numbers in the short term. Ivey comes in with the second-highest usage in the current starting lineup for the Pistons and has taken double-digit shot attempts in five straight while providing 30+ fantasy points in each of those games. This game has a total(236.5) that is 11 points higher than the next highest, the Hornets rank outside the Top 20 in defence, and with a price that is only slowly on the rise, Ivey is a top PTS/$ play for me in all formats Monday. Derrick White FD - $6900 DK - $5500 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 31.38 DK - 33.42 While this matchup is not nearly as fantasy-friendly as the one above, Jaylen Brown will be out for the Celtics which opens up some PTS/$ value at the guard position. The biggest beneficiary of Brown's absence is Derrick White who has averaged over six more shots per game and over 43 fantasy points per game over eight games with no Brown going back to the start of January. There is a bit of risk here as he is dealing with an ankle injury which has me a little less interested on FanDuel at nearly $7K but on DraftKings where the price is still way down in relation to his role, White is a top value and a core play in all...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 2/26
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 2/26/23 It's strange to have half of the games not featured on the main slate, but that's what we've got here! That's common for Sunday slates, though, because the NBA loves to spread these games throughout the day. We're just going to focus on the four games beginning at 7ET because that's when most sites provide their largest prize pools. We have some of the worst defenses in the NBA suiting up among these eight teams, and it should lead to a fun card! With that in mind, let's get started with the three-point champion! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $10500 DK - $11400 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 50.16 DK - 52.67 It's tough to predict the highest-scoring player on a slate, but Dame has to be one of the top picks on the board. This sharpshooter has scored at least 41 DraftKings points in 19 of his last 20 games, generating a 55-point average in that span. He's scoring nearly 40 raw points per game in that stretch, carrying this offense without Jusuf Nurkic. He's also done most of that damage with Anfernee Simons healthy, and it's scary to think how high his usage will be with Simons sitting this game. A matchup with Houston is the icing on the cake, with the Rockets ranked 28th in total defense while surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing PGs. That's led to Lillard scoring at least 46 fantasy points in seven of their last eight meetings! Jordan Poole FD - $8000 DK - $8500 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 41.38 DK - 43.79 It's been fun watching Poole run this offense in the absence of Stephen Curry. Poole is actually leading the team with a 32 percent usage rate when Curry is on the bench, averaging nearly 40 DraftKings points per game in those outings. The boost in shot attempts, assists, and usage is what's allowing Poole to thrive because stepping into the Chef Curry role would benefit anyone. A matchup with Minnesota is magnificent, too, with the T'Wolves ranked fourth in pace and 20th in total defense. They're also allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs, with Poole...

Guards Jrue Holiday FD - $8000 DK - $7500 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 37.48 DK - 41.19 The system has been loving Jrue Holiday over the last week and to be honest, it hasn't been wrong. Holiday has been playing great in the short-term averaging 24.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists over the past four games while providing us 37 or more DraftKings points in each of those games and showing monster upside last game with 64 fantasy points. The Bulls are not the greatest of matchups(7th in def eff) but are playing on a back-to-back and it helps that Jrue gets all the minutes he can handle and despite playing well has not seen his price go up much at all. He is in play in all formats. Mike Conley FD - $6200 DK - $5200 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 27.83 DK - 30.77 Bradley Beal FD - $9300 DK - $7700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 35.74 DK - 38.49 There is a lot to like about this game from a fantasy perspective as it has the highest total(234.5) on the slate and features the only two teams ranked outside the Top 10 in defensive efficiency. Let's start with some exposure to the guards and we can attack both sides here starting with Mike Conley who was a new addition to the T-Wolves at the trade deadline. He was eased into his first start playing just 26 minutes but was unleashed last game against the Mavs and looked good providing just over 31 fantasy points. At his current price, we are looking for a 28-point floor and he has tallied that in 11 straight games. On the other side of the ball, Bradley Beal is coming off a poor fantasy effort but we cannot ignore the price differential as FanDuel has him over $9K while DraftKings has dropped the price back down into the $7K. That is where I am comfortable playing Beal now that he is no longer the 30-points-per-game player he was a few years back. Before that disappointing effort last game, he was on fire tallying 40+ fantasy points five straight and more good news as he is getting the volume again. Both guards are in play in all formats. Also Consider: Terance Mann(LAC) as a value...
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Wednesday, February 15, 2023
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 2/15/23 Coming up on the All-Star break, this used to be the halfway point, but we're nearly three-quarters of the way through the year. That means the All-Star break is a week to prepare for the final stretch run because anything can happen over the closing two months. It'll be really fun to see how Kevin Durant looks in a Phoenix uniform, and it feels like there are 10 teams in the running for a title. That's all we can hope for as NBA fans, and it'll be fun to see how everything plays out! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $9900 DK - $10400 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 51.35 DK - 51.27 Ball's season was derailed by injuries early in the year, but this stud point guard is rolling right now. LaMelo has scored at least 52 DraftKings points in five of his last six games, flirting with triple-double averages in that span. That's the stud we've been waiting to see, and Charlotte clearly wants him to be the showman for their offense. That's sensational in a matchup with the Spurs, who sit dead-last in points allowed and defensive efficiency while surrendering the most fantasy points in the NBA. They're simply the best matchup in DFS right now, with many of their stud opponents dropping 50-plus fantasy points on them on a nightly basis. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $5600 DK - $6000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 33.03 DK - 32.86 Injuries have obliterated this Boston roster. They're expected to be without Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart in this game and could be missing Robert Williams and Derrick White as well. Williams played just 12 minutes in the front end of a B2B while White stayed in Milwaukee to examine his ear. If all of those guys are out, Brogdon should start and do everything for this offense. That's scary because Brogdon is averaging 27 DraftKings points per game in a limited bench role. If he gets the 35 minutes, 15-20 shots, and 30 percent usage rate we expect, this efficiency monster should be an $8K player. The matchup with Detroit is the icing on...

It was another wild week at the WM Phoenix Open and the elevated event definitely did not disappoint as the leaderboard was stacked all weekend. It was Scottie Scheffler, who was one of three players to shoot in the 60's in all four rounds, taking home the trophy and also taking back #1 in the World. This week the Tour heads back to California to close out the West Coast swing with the Genesis Invitational and like last week, this is another "elevated event" with a huge 20 million dollar purse. That was the story of the week up until Friday afternoon when Tiger Woods Tweeted out he would be playing in the Genesis Invitational. He joins an already elite field that includes nine of the Top 10(no Cam Smith for LIV reasons) and 39 of the Top 50 players in the Official World Golf Rankings. After a tough week at TPC Scottsdale, things don't get any easier for the players as they will take on Riviera Country Club this week. Despite Joaquin Niemann posting the lowest winning score(-19) since it was the Northern Trust Open back in 1985, this course plays as one of the toughest non-major stops year in and year out(16th, 11th, 9th, 7th, 6th hardest last 5 years). Things get tough right off the tee as players see some of the narrowest fairways on tour which leads to low driving accuracy numbers. This, once again, has me high on Good Drive % which looks at a combination of driving accuracy + GIR % when missing the fairway. Looking at the correlated Strokes Gained stats this week, Ball Striking is once again important but unlike last week when Off the Tee and Approach were very even, it is Strokes Gained: Approach well ahead in terms of importance when looking at past results. Breaking that...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 2/12
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 2/12/23 This was one of the craziest weeks of the NBA season, with the trade deadline on Thursday mucking up the whole league. It felt like every role player was shipped to a new city, and it's taken a few days to adjust to these new-look teams. Most acquisitions finally suited up on Saturday, but we don't have much of that here. In fact, we have just two games in total because it's the NFL's day to shine. They are two interesting matchups, though, and we still have plenty to discuss! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $9000 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 40.22 DK - 40.64 VanVleet hasn't played up to the All-Star level we've become accustomed to, but this point guard is starting to turn his season around. The stat-stuffing guard is averaging 46 DraftKings points per game across his last 13 outings. He's also scored at least 61 DK points in three of those, flashing a 73-point upside in that span. That's brilliant from a $9K player, and it should be easy to duplicate against Detroit. The Pistons rank 29th in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. In their most recent matchup, FVV finished with 24 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists en route to 53 DK points. Killian Hayes FD - $5400 DK - $4900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 27.21 DK - 27.59 Hayes was horrible in a bench role when he returned from an injury, but we have to assume he'll return to his early-season form since he's been reinserted into the starting lineup. In his 34 starts this season, Hayes is averaging 30 DK points per game across 30 minutes a night. He's done that with some lackluster shooting, and the stat-stuffing ways have made Hayes an excellent value in this $5K price range. He's also posting a 28-point average across his last three outings and played a career-high 39 minutes in his most recent outing. If this guy is going to play 35-40 minutes as the Pistons starting point guard, Hayes needs to be $1,000 more on both sites. Shooting Guard Derrick White FD - $6800 DK - $6700 Opponent -...
