An elite field including nine of the Top 10 and 44 of the Top 50 players in the World will be teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass this week . The course is an average length(7,256 yards) Par 72 setup and a classic Pete Dye design that forces a ton of positional play, especially off the tee. Not only do you have to position yourself to have a shot at the small greens, you also have to avoid disaster with water hazards on 17 of 18 holes. This somewhat takes away the advantage of the long bombers and most definitely brings more players into the mix when looking to narrow down your player pool. Looking at the hole design, there is one long Par 3(8th hole-237 yards) and three shorter Par 3's. The Par 4's are pretty standard distance on the front nine outside of the 5th hole that stretches out to 471 yards. On the back nine, there is the exciting risk/reward driveable Par 4 12th hole and the three final Par 4's on the course(14th, 15th, 18th) are all over 450 yards. Add in the famous Island Green 17th hole and players have a very tough closing stretch. While I mentioned distance being not nearly as important here, it can come into play on the Par 5's where the eagle rate has been higher than the Tour average over the last four to five years. Like almost all of the Florida courses and/or Pete Dye courses, it is going to take a strong Tee to Green game to contend but there are a few stats that definitely stand out above the rest in my model. First of all, this is another great week to target Good...

Guards Damian Lillard FD - $10800 DK - $11600 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 55.73 DK - 58.18 The Trail Blazers are playing on a back-to-back tonight but we just can't ignore Lillard who checks every box for an elite-priced guard. As good as he has been all season, he has been on another level since the start of February(13 games) averaging 38.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists for just over 59 fantasy points per game. He runs heavy minutes, gets a consistent dose of 20+ shots and now gets an elite matchup against the Pistons' 28th-ranked defence that is also 27th in fantasy points to guards. Lock and load in all formats. Tyrese Maxey FD - $6800 DK - $5500 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.02 DK - 33.65 Maxey has been terrific since re-entering the starting lineup for the 76ers dropping 26 or more points in all three games and averaging over 36 fantasy points over his last four games. Sure, he is running hot as a shooting-dependant guard but even with Harden and Embiid in the mix is getting over 16 shots a game and it's hard to argue the matchup against the Pacers who are 23rd in defensive efficiency and 22nd in fantasy points to guards. With the rising price on FanDuel I am probably out but on DraftKings where the price has barely budged I am all over Maxey in all formats. Tyler Herro FD - $7800 DK - $7300 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 36.18 DK - 40.16 With Kyle Lowry out since early February the Heat have been playing sub .500 basketball and have fallen in the standings. For fantasy, however, Tyler Herro has filled in nicely in Lowry's absence playing over 37 minutes a game and is averaging 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists over that 10-game stretch while providing over 35 fantasy points a game. The poor shooting at times can lead to some volatility in those fantasy scores but he gets a terrific matchup against a Hawks team that is outside the Top 20 in defence and runs at a Top 10 pace. Fire up Herro in all formats. Small Forward Cam Reddish FD - $5500 DK - $4300 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 25.22 DK - 25.3 After sitting for...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 3/5
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/5/23 We always love the NBA but man, is this season getting exciting! We have 10 teams within 5.5 games of one another in the Western Conference, and those clubs could finish anywhere between fourth and 13th. That's hard to believe with fewer than 20 games remaining, and it means anything can happen over these closing six weeks. With that in mind, let's start with a point guard for one of those battling teams! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Point Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $6900 DK - $7300 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 33.68 DK - 35.66 Clarkson can be a frustrating player to watch at times, but this guy deserves some credit for what he's done this year. JC has been considered a volatile bench scorer throughout his career, but he's done a wonderful job as Utah's starting point guard. Clarkson is averaging 34 DraftKings points per game this season, setting career highs across the board. What makes him so intriguing here is the fact that Utah is so shorthanded, trading away Mike Conley at the deadline and losing Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton to injuries. That means JC could be looking at 35 minutes, 20 shots, and a usage rate north of 30 percent! It's not like the Thunder are a terrifying matchup, with Clarkson collecting 37 DK points in their one matchup. Tyus Jones FD - $6000 DK - $3100 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 33.11 DK - 33.39 Ja Morant can't seem to go in public without waving a gun around, so, he's going to be suspended for the next two games. Anytime Morant is sidelined, Jones is always one of the best streamers out there. Tyus always starts at PG when Morant is sidelined, scoring at least 34 DraftKings points in eight of the nine starts he's made this year. That's no surprise since Jones averaged 30 DK points per game in 23 starts last year. That makes this DraftKings price laughable, especially since Memphis is missing Steven Adams, Dillon Brooks, and Brandon Clarke as well. The Clippers sound like a scary matchup on the surface, but they have a bottom-five defense since the All-Star break. Dennis Schröder...

Guards Luka Doncic FD - $12000 DK - $11900 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 55.64 DK - 60.04 We have another small slate Thursday so it might just be in the cards to lock in the massive floor that Luka provides. There were a few bumps in the road but not only did Luka enter the break red-hot, he picked up where he left off as well averaging 32.6 points, 8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists over his last five games while providing a 58 fantasy point average as well. It is a tougher matchup against the 76ers but the good news is that they are playing on a back-to-back and Luka's price is back down after exceeding $13K earlier in the year. In the end, it will depend on the value that arises so stay tuned for starting lineups later in the day. Bradley Beal FD - $9400 DK - $8000 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 38.25 DK - 41.42 If that value doesn't pop up to where we can comfortably fit Luka, there is a nice selection of mid-tier guard plays starting with Bradley Beal who has returned to fantasy prominence over the last month. Going back to late January(10 games), Beal has averaged 26.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and a combined 1.7 steals + blocks while tallying 40+ fantasy points seven times(43.5 average). He is also set to see more big-time usage with Monte Morris set to miss his third straight game which offsets the rising price when looking at the PTS/$ projection. All things considered, Beal is my favorite play at the guard position tonight. Klay Thompson FD - $8300 DK - $7800 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 37.29 DK - 41.65 With Steph Curry out of the lineup, I have gone back and forth between Poole and Thompson continuously and while both get a huge boost in usage, it really just comes down to price. Klay is not only cheaper on DraftKings tonight but he also provides a bit more safety as Poole is playing through a knee bruise. One downside is that Klay is very shooting dependant but as I mentioned the usage is most definitely there as he has taken 19 or more shots in eight of nine games since Steph went down with injury while averaging just...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/1
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/1/23 Did the month of February even happen? It blew my mind to write March 1 when preparing this article, but that's just what happens when you're having fun. DFS is a good mixture of fun and chaos, but we feel like we have a great read on how these rotations are playing out right now. It was a bit strange directly out of the trade deadline, but everything is coming together right now. We've also had some big-name injuries recently that will open up some value but let's get started with two of the best point guards in the NBA! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $11000 DK - $11900 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 52.74 DK - 55.48 Fading Lillard would be silly. This sharpshooter took down the three-point contest at All-Star weekend but has been the best scorer in the NBA over the last month. Dame has scored at least 56 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 20 games, averaging nearly 40 raw points per game in that span. He also flashed a 93-point upside just a few days ago, and it's clear Portland will allow Lillard to do everything with Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic both sidelined. New Orleans is far from scary, allowing 120 points per game in their current 7-20 stretch. In his last four matchups with the Pelicans, Dame is averaging nearly 65 DK points per game! Ja Morant FD - $10000 DK - $9900 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 46.58 DK - 47.94 Ja was dropping jaws on Tuesday night, collecting 39 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists en route to 74 DraftKings points. That's one of the best games of his career, but it becomes less surprising when you see his 50-point average for the year. Ironically, his highest-scoring game before this was in this same matchup against Houston. The Rockets rank 27th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency while surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing point guards. That was on full display when Morant amassed 73 DK points in their one matchup this year, doing that damage across just 31 minutes of play. Dennis Smith...

This week the PGA Tour remains in Florida and heads to the home of Arnies Army, Bay Hill Club & Lodge, for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The big difference this week compared to last week's Honda Classic which kicked off the Florida swing is the field. As always, this event draws an elite field and this year welcomes nine of the Top 10, 23 of the Top 25, and 42 of the Top 50 players in the Official World Golf Rankings. The elite field will be challenged as Bay Hill has ranked as a Top 10 hardest course on tour(including majors!) in five of the last six years and ranked out as the hardest back in 2020. As with most Florida courses, water is a major defence and the win can also wreak havoc on golfers. Next up is the distance as it plays as one of the longest courses on the regular tour schedule and it starts with the Par 3's as they are some of the longest and hardest on tour listed at 199, 215, 221, and 231 yards. Combine that with five of Par 4's that come in over 450 yards and there is a well-above-average amount of long-iron approach shots here. Looking at the shotlink and strokes gained data over the last three years, this is another tournament where the correlations are very even across the board with Strokes Gained: Approach ranking at the top each season. Inside that bubble, I will also be weighing long iron approaches quite high in my model and bombers who are relatively accurate can also gain a ton on the field. With that said, let's look at the course, trends, and dig into some picks. The Course Previous Five Winners 2022 - Scottie Scheffler(-5) 2021 - Bryson DeChambeau(-11) 2020 - Tyrrell Hatton(-4) 2019 - Francesco Molinari(-12) 2018...
