GOALIE Tuukka Rask FD - $8800 DK - $8500 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 20.63 DK - 14.95 We get a monster 13-game slate on Thursday with a ton of goalie options and I will be starting at the top with Tuukka Rask who is already confirmed and the biggest favorite(-220) on the slate. He has gone 6-2-2 with .920 save % over his last 10 games and has been money at home having yet to lose in regulation time(5-0-2) and has tallied an elite .940 save % with two shutouts. What stands out the most is the matchup against the Sabres who have lost two straight and eight of their last nine games while scoring just two goals per game. All things considered, Rask is my top goalie in all formats. Pekka Rinne FD - $8100 DK - $7900 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.16 DK - 12.11 Juuse Saros FD - $7400 DK - $7700 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.46 DK - 12.37 It is a very similar situation for the Preds tonight who are at home as big favorites(-185) against a struggling team in the Canucks who have dropped three straight and seven of their last eight and sit with the 24th-ranked road offense overall. Rinne is currently projected to start after being pulled in his last game and comes in with terrible form having given up four or more goals in four of his last five after a red-hot start to the season. I am not buying the regression narrative around the 37-year-old former Vezina winner(2017-18 season) and will take advantage of a price drop for a goalie in a plus matchup. Saros isn't really making any case to take over starter duties but if he were to get the nod tonight, I would definitely consider him in GPP formats at his price in this matchup. Also Consider: Jordan Binnington(STL) who is 7-2-1 with a .926 save % in his last 10...

GOALIE Ben Bishop FD - $8900 DK - $8300 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.02 DK - 12.2 Bishop was pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots in Edmonton on Saturday but I am not concerned about the 11-year vet whatsoever. For starters, before that loss, he had held opponents to two or fewer goals in seven straight and has been much better on home ice with a .941 save %(.909 save % on the road). Tonight, he and the Stars are -150 home favorites against a Canucks team who has lost six of their last seven games while scoring just 2.3 goals per game. Bishop is an excellent play in all formats. Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8900 DK - $8100 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 17.96 DK - 13.02 Speaking of struggling teams, the Vegas Golden Knights are at home tonight against the Leafs who have dropped five straight and seven of their last 10 scoring two or fewer goals in five of them. Fleury has been up and down recently giving up four or more goals four times in the last 10 games but leads the league with 10 wins overall and is coming off a 33-save shutout against the Flames on Sunday. Vegas opens as a -150 favorite and like Bishop, Fleury is in play in all formats. Also Consider: Tuukka Rask(BOS) as a GPP pivot off the two mentioned above who are likely higher owned CENTERS **If you have the salary, you are obviously spending up for one of Connor McDavid or Nathan MacKinnon who are both averaging an incredible 19 DK/23 FD fantasy points per game and both get plus matchups. If you are looking for a more balanced route, especially in cash games, check out the options below.** Jack Eichel FD - $7900 DK - $7500 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 20.31 DK - 16.25 The first stop when looking at PTS/$, especially on FanDuel, is Jack Eichel....
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/14/19
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/14/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Thursday brings us a very exciting eight-game slate that includes three games with a high 6.5 total. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Jacob Markstrom FD - $7400 DK - $7900 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 19.66 DK - 15.84 Markstrom has gone winless in four straight(0-2-2) but no fault of his own as he has allowed more than two goals against just once and tallied a .924 save % in that time. I love the spot for Markstrom and the Canucks tonight as they are -145 home favorites going up against a Stars team that ranks 29th on offense to start the year scoring just 2.4 goals per game. He is second to Vasilevskiy in raw points in the system but from a PTS/$ perspective, he is the clear #1 option tonight and in play in all formats. Also Consider: A struggling Andrei Vasilevskiy(TB) as a huge home favorite(-260) against the Rangers or Jonathan Quick(LA) as a GPP play at home against the Red Wings 27th ranked road offense CENTERS Aleksander Barkov FD - $8300 DK - $6700 Opponent - WPG Proj Pts FD - 16.8 DK - 12.1 There are two elite centers(MacKinnon, McDavid) at the top of the salary tonight but from a cash game perspective I will be going a more balanced approach and it starts with Aleksander Barkov. Like the Oilers/Avs game, this game has a high 6.5 total and the Panthers Top 5 offense is in a great spot at home against a Jets team that ranks 24th in defense on the road allowing 3.6 goals per game. Barkov comes into this game red-hot with multi-point efforts in five of his last six games and has a whopping 18 points in his last 10 games. I will have exposure in all formats but his best value comes on DraftKings where he costs just 13% of your salary cap. Stack with: Jonathan Huberdeau, Evgenii Dadonov Nazem Kadri FD - $5200 DK - $4600 Opponent - EDM Proj Pts FD - 12.23 DK - 8.66 Kadri is a cheap way to get exposure to this projected high-scoring game and while the Avs are +110 road dogs, they have a Top 5 road offense going up against an...

GOALIE John Gibson FD - $7800 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 19.91 DK - 14.93 Gibson is coming off back to back losses but is right at the top of my ranks on Tuesday as he checks almost every other box. It starts with the matchup as the Ducks are -145 home favorites against a Red Wings team that ranks dead last in offense and has lost seven straight road games while averaging just 1.3 goals per game. The floor is also high for Gibson who is seeing over 31 shots per game combined with the Red Wings who average over 30 shots for per game. Gibson is my top goalie in all formats tonight. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $8300 DK - $7900 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 17.49 DK - 12.97 There is a lot more risk here with Hellebuyck as he is facing an Avalanche team that ranks 3rd overall in offense but the GPP upside and projected lower ownership make him a great GPP target tonight. What Hellebuyck has going for him is that he has been terrific on home ice with a .945 save % while facing 33 shots per game and comes in hot holding teams to two or fewer goals in four straight starts. I lean Gibson in cash games but will have plenty of shares of Hellebuyck in GPP formats tonight. Also Consider: Jordan Binnington(STL) who has wins in five straight and seven of his last eight starts and faces a Coyotes team that ranks 20th on offense CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8000 DK - $6400 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 16.53 DK - 11.54 Ryan Strome FD - $5500 DK - $5600 Opponent - PIT Proj Pts FD - 12.76 DK - 8.99 The Penguins/Rangers game is one of just two games...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/7/19
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/7/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Thursday is a huge night with 11 games on the slate and we can most certainly expect some high scores with a whopping seven games sitting with a 6.5 Vegas total. GOALIE Darcy Kuemper FD - $8400 DK - $8400 Opponent - CBJ Proj Pts FD - 18.11 DK - 13.31 The Coyotes narrowly missed the playoffs a year ago and have built off that with a hot start to this season going 9-4-2. They rank second overall defensively and largely due to the play of their #1 goalie, Darcy Kuemper who has not only won seven of his 10 starts but also leads the league with an elite .940 save %. The only knock on him is that faces under 30 shots per game but I am willing to accept that tonight considering the plus matchup against the struggling Blue Jackets who have lost five straight while scoring just nine goals and rank 30th overall offensively(2.3 goals per game) on the season. Fire up Kuemper in all formats. Carter Hart FD - $7500 DK - $7900 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 16.69 DK - 13.29 It hasn't exactly been the start to the season Hart or Flyers had hoped for but in the short term, I am going to chalk it up to a ton of travel early on. The good news is that he did end the five-game losing streak and has stopped 66 of 70 shots in back to back wins with the most impressive on Tuesday against Carolina(saved 33 of 34). The matchup is not exactly much better tonight as the Habs have been excellent on the road but I love the upside as they are averaging over 34 shots per game. The projected low ownership, upside, and sub $8K price tag on both sites make him one of my favorite GPP plays at the goalie position tonight. Also Consider: Petr Mrazek(CAR) in a great spot at home against a Rangers team playing on a back to back and third game in four nights CENTERS Elias Pettersson FD - $7300 DK - $7200 Opponent - CHI Proj...

GOALIE Semyon Varlamov FD - $8300 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 20.47 DK - 15.09 Thomas Greiss FD - $8100 DK - $8400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 16.89 DK - 13.19 The Islanders are in a great spot tonight as -260 home favorites facing a Senators team that is playing on a back to back and third game in four nights, all on the road. On top of that, the Sens rank 25th on offense scoring just 2.6 goals per game and have been even worse on the road scoring just 2.0 goals per game. The Isles have a true committee between the pipes and whichever one is starting is right at the top of my list. Varlamov comes in with five straight wins while stopping 143 of 151 shots(.947 save %) while Greiss has won four straight while saving 118 of 126 shots(.937 save %). Stay tuned for the confirmed starter during the day but it really doesn't matter as they are the same price and both great plays in all formats. John Gibson FD - $8200 DK - $8300 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 19.56 DK - 14.68 The goalie position is loaded tonight and John Gibson is another one that pops off the page checking almost every single box. It starts with Anaheim sitting as -150 home favorites in a very favorable matchup against the Wild who rank 29th in offense(2.4 goals per game) and like the Sens, they have been much worse on the road scoring just 1.6 goals per game which ranks dead last. Gibson has been much more of a roller coaster this season allowing four or more goals four times but has also held opponents to two or fewer in eight starts for an overall .926 save % which is just outside the Top 10. And if we are talking high floors, he has also seen 40+ shots against in three straight. I do lean the Isles goalies in cash but Gibson is most definitely in play in all formats as well. Also Consider: David Rittich(CGY)...
