We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9000 DK - $7800 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 21.41 DK - 15.6 While there are 12 games tonight, the goalie position is a little tricky for cash games. I am going to start in Tampa where the Bolts are big -225 favorites in one of the games of the night as both teams come in red-hot with seven-game winning streaks. Something has to give, right? The good news here is that while the Canucks have been dominant at home(5th in home scoring) they have been almost a goal per game less effective on the road. For Vasi, it has been an up and down season but he has eight wins in his last 10 starts and has stopped 66 of 68 shots in back to wins on the road vs. the Hurricanes and Canadiens coming into this one. He is in play in all formats but his best value is easily on DraftKings where he comes in under $8K. Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8000 DK - $8100 Opponent - PIT Proj Pts FD - 20.65 DK - 15.37 If you are looking for a little trip down narrative street, Marc-Andre Fleury fits the bill going up against his old team. I am not one to go down that street often and the good news is there is more to like about Fleury who is a -150 home favorite and while he hasn't been as sharp, he has won four straight and six of his last eight starts while facing over 31 shots per game. The other price of the puzzle is the Pens offense that is very thin without Sidney Crosby and now Jake Guentzel. At these prices, I will have exposure to Fleury in all formats tonight. CENTERS Brayden Point FD - $7200 DK - $5900 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 14.1 DK - 11.22 Like I mentioned above, this matchup features two teams on winning streaks but I will be leaning heavily on the home team tonight. I will start with Brayden Point...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 1/2/20 Happy New Year hockey fans. After another exciting Winter Classic game yesterday, we are back with a huge 12-game slate on Thursday. Let's jump in and take a look at some of the core plays at each position that we can build around. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NHL optimizer! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA? Be sure to read our free NBA Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. GOALIE Tristan Jarry FD - $8800 DK - $8500 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 23.29 DK - 17.49 The goalie position is absolutely loaded at the top tonight and I will start with Tristan Jarry who has put the team on his back with injuries Sidney Crosby and now Jake Guentzel. He has tallied a very impressive 8-2 record over his last 10 starts which includes three shutouts and a .939 save %. Even without Sid and Guentzel, the Pens open as -180 favorites tonight going up against a Sharks team that has been on a slide losing 11 of their last 13 games while scoring just 2.3 goals per game. He and Matt Murray have alternated starts in the Pens last four games and if Murray does get the start, I will turn elsewhere in cash games but will have exposure in GPP formats. As for Jarry, if he is in between the pipes on Thursday, he is my favorite goalie in all formats. Antti Raanta FD - $7800 DK - $8300 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 19.46 DK - 14.14 This is more of a play on FanDuel where Raanta comes in under $8K giving him excellent PTS/$ value tonight as a -180 home favorite in one of three games with a low 5.5 total. He will be facing the Ducks who own the 2nd worst record on the season, rank 21st in road offense, and have dropped five of their last seven games. For Raanta, he has worked as the backup behind Darcy Kuemper and while he has been inconsistent he is coming off a 38-save win against the Blues. I will use him as a low-owned GPP play on DraftKings and in all formats on FanDuel. Also Consider: Semyon Varlamov(NYI) in all formats in a top matchup as a -200 favorite against the Devils 29th ranked offense CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8600 DK - $7200 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 20.66 DK - 16.15 Much like the goalie position, center is absolutely...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/27/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/27/19 After a nice little three-day Christmas break, the NHL returns with a massive 11-game slate on Friday night. Let's dig in and take a look at some of my core plays at each position. Want more? Make sure to jump into chat and as I discuss line combinations and all my favorite cash, GPP, and value plays on this slate. GOALIE Philipp Grubauer FD - $7600 DK - $8400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 19.1 DK - 13.7 Pavel Francouz FD - $8400 DK - $8400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 22.78 DK - 16.93 The Avalanche went into the Christmas break with the second-best record in the Western Conference and while a lot of that rests on their #1 ranked offense, the defense and goaltending have also played a huge part(#9 ranked defense). Grubauer has been the main goalie in Colorado with 21 starts but with his struggles over the last couple of weeks, we could be seeing a changing of the guard, if you will. Rookie, Pavel Francouz, has done everything in his power to win over his coach and teammates winning seven of his last eight games with a .942 save %. As -210 favorites at home vs. the Wild's 28th ranked offense, I will have exposure to whichever goalie is between the pipes but will be overweight if it's Francouz. Also Consisder: Braden Holtby(WAS), Frederik Anderson(TOR) CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $8400 DK - $7300 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 19.08 DK - 15.45 John Tavares FD - $7800 DK - $7100 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 17.32 DK - 14.04 The Devils/Leafs game is currently(mid-afternoon Thursday) the only one on this slate with a 6.5 total and we will be concentrating on the Leafs who have the third-highest implied goal total(3.8) in the system tonight. Considering Matthews/Tavares are the 6th/8th most expensive centers on DraftKings and the 5th/9th most expensive on FanDuel, I will list them both and could even make the case to stack them together. First of all, they both give you elite shot volume averaging over three shots per game on the season and both have been red-hot lately averaging over 15 DK/17 FD points per game in their last 10. In a matchup against the Devils 29th ranked defense,...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/23/19

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/23/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Monday brings us the final slate before Christmas so let's dig in and take a look at some core plays at each position. GOALIE Carter Hart FD - $7900 DK - $8200 Opponent - NYR Proj Pts FD - 19.79 DK - 14.44 While the Flyers have been merely average on the road(8-9-1) this season, they have been one of the best home teams in the league(12-2-4) and it starts with Carter Hart. He has an impressive 10-1-2 record on home ice with an elite .944 save % and comes in hot winning six of his last eight starts with a .936 save%. The only issue with Hart is that he doesn't face a ton of shots but of all the top goalies, he has the best form and a great shot at the win as a -175 favorite agaisnt the Rangers. All things considered(even my Flyers fandom), hart is my favorite play at the position in cash games. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $8000 DK - $8300 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 21.11 DK - 15.83 Hellebuyck is coming off an impressive 31 save shutout in Minnesota on Saturday but has been very up down lately moving him to #2 in my ranks tonight. The Habs also come into Winnipeg with a Top 10 offense which adds some risk but what I like here is that the Hellebuyck faces a ton of shots(30.3 per game) while the Habs take a ton of shots(34.8) which elevates Hellebuyck's floor and ceiling. I prefer the safety with Hart in cash games but the projected shot volume for Hellebuyck has me loving him as a GPP pivot tonight. CENTERS Jack Eichel FD - $8800 DK - $8200 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 23.13 DK - 18.41 After missing one game due to an upper-body injury, Eichel returned to the lineup on Saturday night to extend his point streak to 18 games(despite the official NHL designation). What's even more amazing about the streak is that he has tallied multiple points nine times for a total of 32 points while averaging a whopping 3.8 shots on goal. The streak most definitely has life tonight as he faces a Senators team that has given up 19 goals over their last 10 games. From a raw...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/19/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Another busy Thursday night with 10 games on the ice with just two teams(CHI, COL) playing on a back to back. Let's jump in and take a look at some of my core plays at each position. GOALIE Jaroslav Halak FD - $8200 DK - $8400 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 22.46 DK - 16.78 Despite the Bruins struggling lately, Halak sits atop the raw points projections tonight and I have to agree here. He is a part of a 60/40 split with Tuukka Rask and has been the better of the two lately coming off a 31 save win over the Panthers. I am speculating he will start tonight as Rask has allowed 3+ goals against in four straight but either way, both are in good spots here as the Bruins are -150 favorites at home where they have slightly better defensively allowing just 2.4 goals per game. The Isles also fit the splits narrative as they have scored about .8 goals per game less on the road. All things considered, Halak is my top goalie in cash games tonight. Darcy Kuemper FD - $8800 DK - $8200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 21.21 DK - 15.86 The Wild are another team that has a wide gap when looking at their home/road splits. At home, they are ranked 3rd scoring 3.77 goals per game but on the road, they rank 19th scoring just 2.6 per game. That is good news for the Pacific division-leading Coyotes who are Top 5 defensively no matter where they play. Kuemper is likely to start with Raanta dealing with an illness and that is great news as he has been terrific lately going 6-2-2 in his last 10 games with a .933 save %. Halak is the chalk choice on FanDuel at a $600 discount ut on DraftKings it is dealer choice as both are in play in all formats. Also Consider: David Rittich(CGY) as an upside GPP play CENTERS Mark Scheifele FD - $7600 DK - $7200 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 18.31 DK - 14.17 The Jets are in a great spot tonight as a -190 home favorite in one of two games with a monster 6.5 total. On the season, they have been slightly better offensively on...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 12/17/19 Welcome back hockey fans. Tuesday brings us a huge 11-game slate that is filled with a ton of value allowing us to spend up almost anywhere. Let's dig in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9000 DK - $8300 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 22.73 DK - 16.53 The reigning Vezina Trophy winner has been very up and down to start the season but is in a prime spot tonight and is our top goalie on both sites. He and the Bolts open as huge -290 favorites against a Senators team that is playing on back to back on the road and third game in four nights and despite scoring over three goals per game on home ice, they are scoring just 2.4 per game on the road. Vasi is in play in all formats but his best value comes on DraftKings where he is the fourth most expensive option. Carey Price FD - $8500 DK - $7500 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 16.04 DK - 11.85 The narrative is very similar for Price who is another former Vezina winner who has started off very inconsistent this season. He comes a bit cheaper than Vasilevskiy on both sites but is a slight underdog on the road as the Habs go into Vancouver to face the Canucks. The good news is the Canucks have struggled a but lately losing two straight and three of their last four while scoring just seven goals while Price has allowed two or fewer goals in four straight. I don't think we need to go here in cash games, but Price is an excellent GPP pivot tonight. Also Consider: Tuukka Rask/Jaroslav Halak(BOS) CENTERS Patrice Bergeron FD - $8200 DK - $7200 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 18.15 DK - 14.72 If you have the extra salary, Jack Eichel is my top raw points play on this slate with his insane numbers lately but for a more balanced build, we can not ignore Patrice Bergeron. He centers arguably the best line in hockey, comes in with 11 points and 41 shots in his last 10 games, and backs that shot volume up with 19.8 shot attempts per 60 on the season. The Kings have been...
