Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/27/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/27/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. After taking one on the chin last night(both my core teams got shutout) I am ready to rebound tonight as we get another inter-league LPL/LCK six-game slate. Let's dig in and break down the numbers and look at some core plays. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. Top Teams to Target eStar vs. LNG Esports FunPlus Phoenix is a bigger favorite tonight but Estar has been the class of the Spring league with a 7-1 match(88%) and 14-5(74%) game record. They come into tonight having won three straight matches out-killing opponents 141-61 averaging 20.1 kills per game. LNG is coming off a 2-1 loss to Suning but they are no pushover as they won three straight matches before that and will have motivation sitting just outside the playoff picture by the slimmest of margins(tied in match record with EDG but have lost one more game). Players to Target You may not be able to get them in Captain spot without taking a shot at some underdog teams but all eStar stacks will start with Cryin(MID) and Wink(ADC). Over eStar's three game win streak, Cryin has tallied 34 kills and 68 assists while averaging 103.5 DK points per match. In that time, Wink has tallied 45 kills and 55 assists averaging 107.9 DK points per match. I will also run ShiauC(SUP) in the Support spot to correlate with Wink and while he doesn't get many kills, he has averaged 26.7 assists per match over that three-game win streak. I also like Xiaobai(TOP) tonight as he has shown big upside(104.5 DK points last match) and can also be considered a captain choice to get a four-player eStar stack in any format. Sandbox Gaming vs. Griffin After the two bigger favorites tonight(eStar & FPX) we really have to make some big decisions as the other four games are all fairly close when breaking down the numbers. While their record doesn't jump off the page, they do a matchup against the worst team in the league and motivation should be there as they are really only two matches out of a playoff spot. The other thing that skews the numbers a bit for Sandbox is the fact they are rolling out a whole new lineup than earlier in the season. Only two players(Lonely-TOP & Route-ADC) have played multiple games since the start of March. With a new-look lineup, they looked very good...
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/26/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/26/20 Welcome back League of Legends fans. For the second straight night we get an inter-league slate with three games from the LPL(China) and three games from the LCK(Korea) leagues. Let's jump in and take a look at a couple of my core teams and players to target for DraftKings. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. Top Teams to Target Afreeca Freecs vs. Sandbox Gaming In the first set of games, it is the LCK matchup between AF and SG that really stands out tonight. Not only is AF a -350 Vegas favorite with a -5.5 kill spread(Map #1), they also lead in almost every statistical category including Kills per game(11.3 to 10.3), K:D Ratio(.97 to .85), Towers per game(6.2 to 5.4), and Dragons per game(2.6 to 2.2). The Freecs(way cooler to say) are also coming off a huge 2-1 win over T1 in their last game before the break and come in having won four of their last five games. At the individual player level, they have a huge advantage on paper as all five projected starters have a 3+ KDA while no one on SB is above 2.9 and two of them(TOP/SUP) are below 2.0 for the season. On the other side, SB comes in ice-cold having lost six straight and 12 of their last 15 games. Pick - Afreeca Freecs Sandbox has completely flipped their lineup over the last 2-3 games before the break so it will be interesting to see who start tonight(the sheet shows projected lineup correlated to last match starting lineup). The Vegas match spread(+1.5) favors the over here slightly(via BET365) which gives us more projected kills so sign me in all formats. It makes sense considering the Freecs last eight matches have all gone to a 3rd game with them winning five of them. Top Targets(ranked) - Mystic(ADC), Kiin(TOP), Fly(MID) Before the break, Mystic was an absolute beast gaining 29% of his team's total fantasy points over their last five matches. Two of those matches were losses but in those he still showed a floor of 50 points. This alone makes him a top target in cash games with that kind of consistency. Next up is Kiin at TOP as he has also been consistent gaining at least 21% of the team's total fantasy points in each of his last five matches with 10+ assists in four of those while averaging 893 creep score per match....
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/25/20
Daily Fantasy League of Legends Picks for DraftKings 3/25/20 Welcome back sports fans. It has been a dismal couple weeks with sports being canceled and suspended worldwide but never fear as I have dove headfirst into the world of Esports and League of Legends. I am not going to go as far as to say I am an expert after one week of research but I have learned a ton from merely breaking down the data on a player, team, and even league level. I have already provided my initial notes and strategy in the chat(hit me up for that if you have not already read it over) and will now go over some matchups I like and teams/players I will be targeting. Let's get started. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? Head on over to my Patreon Page. Slate Breakdown First things first. If you have been playing the LPL China league you know they play nightly and it is usually two or three-game slates. Not tonight. The Korean LCK league is now back up and running and with the same structure(best of 3), DraftKings has merged the two leagues into one six-game slate instead of two separate slates for each league. Teams will still only play teams in their league with their regular schedule and only affects us playing daily fantasy on DraftKings. The first thing that came to mind with a structure like is was to compare the two leagues to see if one was possibly a better target. I looked at team kills per game on a league and team level. What I found was that the LPL averages over three kills per game more than the LCK about also about three more deaths per game. I also noticed that 10 of the 17 teams in the LPL average more kills per game on the season than the leader in the LCK league. I also wanted to look at recent form and dug into each league's last two weeks(25 games each). Last week each team played 12 games and the LPL out-killed the LCK 288-277 but the week before out-killed them 340-254. In those two weeks, a team in the LPL tallied 15 kills or more 25 times while that happened just 14 times in the LCK league. By no means will I completely fade the LCK teams tonight but will most certainly have more exposure to the LPL league, especially in cash games. With that, let's take a look at some core teams...

GOALIE Jaroslav Halak FD - $8700 DK - $7800 Opponent - FLA Proj Pts FD - 19.76 DK - 14.59 Halak went through some struggles through most of December and January but has bounced back in a big way winning six straight starts coming into tonight. During that stretch, he has also posted a .930 save % and now faces a Panthers team that has lost 11 of their last 15 games while scoring just 2.4 goals per game. I try to not lead off with a goalie on the road but with Bruins are still -150 favorites here and with Halak's form, he is my favorite cash game goalie tonight. Martin Jones FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 16.39 DK - 12.04 If you are looking at going the value route and loading up at skaters you can consider Martin Jones tonight. The season numbers can be tough to look at but the good news is that he has been much better lately winning three straight while stopping 76 of 80 shots( .950 save %) he has faced. There is some risk here as the Wild have been pretty damn good on the road lately but I am willing to overlook this in GPP formats tonight given the upside. Also Consider: Carter Hart(PHI) as a cash game option as he doesn't face a ton of shots on average but the win expectancy is there as the Flyers have been terrific on home ice CENTERS Connor McDavid FD - $8900 DK - $7900 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 22.59 DK - 17.03 There is no shortage of elite centers in plus spots tonight and choosing which one to ride with is likely the key to cashing. Matthews does give you a bit more shot volume and more goal upside but I lean McDavid tonight who is cheaper on both sites leading to the #1 spot in PTS/$ rankings. McDavid may not be on the same level in terms of shot volume but is...
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/27/20
Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/27/20 It is that time of the season where teams are separating themselves after the trade deadline to make a push for the playoffs. This creates some exciting hockey to watch and also ramps up the fantasy games as well. Thursday brings us 10 games so let's jump in and take a look at some core plays for DraftKings and FanDuel at each position. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. That's a $10 value every single month, just for signing up for a DFSR membership! Want my sheets on their own? GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9200 DK - $8500 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 23.72 DK - 17.64 Much like last night, the goalie position is a tricky one for multiple reasons and it starts with Vasilevskiy. I have talked about him and used him a ton lately but his hot streak came to an abrupt end as he has now dropped three straight while giving up 16 goals against. I am not too concerned tonight considering the quality of goalie combined with the matchup against a Blackhawks team that has dropped nine of their last 11 games and rank outside the Top 20 in overall offense on the season. I will have exposure to Vasilevskiy in all formats. Jordan Binnington FD - $8600 DK - $8400 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 17.43 DK - 12.71 If you are at all concerned about Vasilevskiy(I am not), Jordan Binnington is most definitely in play tonight. He is coming off a game where he gave up five goals but still got the win which was his fourth straight giving him a 28-11-7 record on the season with a .911 save %. Tonight, he is in a plus spot at home as a -165 favorite against a struggling Islanders team that has lost five of their last seven games scoring just 13 goals and rank 29th in road offense overall. Fire up Binnington in all formats, especially on FanDuel in the mid $8K range. CENTERS Dylan Larkin FD - $6600 DK - $7200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 14.21 DK - 11.43 There isn't much to get excited about this season if you are a Red...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/20/20 Welcome back hockey fans. Before we roll into the weekend, we have a busy Thursday night on the ice with eight games including six of the Top 10 offenses. Let's dig in and take a look at some of my core plays at each position for DraftKings and FanDuel. Premium DFSR members get access to my expert sheets as a part of their membership. GOALIE Jordan Binnington FD - $8400 DK - $8400 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 18.11 DK - 13.21 The Blues go back on track on Tuesday shutting out the Devils at home as Binnington stopped all 17 shots he faced. The shot totals are a little concerning for fantasy but the good news is that he and the Blues get another plus home matchup against the Coyotes who are playing a back to back on the road and third game in four nights while also ranking 26th in road offense on the season. I prefer Binnington in cash games but all things considered, he is viable in all formats. Mackenzie Blackwood FD - $7600 DK - $7700 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 18.66 DK - 13.94 Shot volume is not something we have to worry about with Blackwood as he has faced just shy of 35 shots per game over his last 10. He also comes in scorching hot having won all four starts in February allowing just four goals and has posted a 5-2-2 record with .925 save % in his last 10 starts. He gets to face a very inconsistent Sharks team that has dropped seven of their last 11 games and rank 25th in road offense on the season. Fire him up in all formats. Also Consider: Braden Holtby(WSH) who is the biggest favorite(-194) on the slate and faces a Habs team that has dropped five straight while scoring just 10 goals CENTERS Blake Wheeler FD - $6600 DK - $6100 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 16.13 DK - 12.36 At center, I am going to start with Blake Wheeler who gives us a path to a very balanced lineup for cash games. He...
