Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/2/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another awesome day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have an impressive nine-game Friday slate in store for us and there some high-powered offenses to go along with quite a few weak defenses in action this evening. Let's get this party started and dive right into some of my favorite picks. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Marc-Andre Fleury FD - $8700 DK - $8500 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 15.64 DK - 3.91 The Vegas Golden Knights have been quite a story so far in their first season and this guy has been a huge part of their success. Since returning from a concussion on December 12th, the veteran carries an 18-6-3 record to go along with a .930 save%, a 2.10 GAA and he hasn't allowed more than three goals in 26 of those 27 games. The Senators are ranked 25th in offense and the Golden Knights are listed as massive -275 favorites on home-ice, so all things considered, "The Flower" is an elite play and my top goalie in all formats. Connor Hellebuyck FD - $8200 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 15.51 DK - 3.88 There may be a few people that hop off of the "Helly" wagon after he allowed six goals in his last outing against the Predators. But for the record, I won't be one of them as these things happen to the best of them from time to time. The young tender has been a monster this season as he boasts a 32-10-8 record to go along with a .922 save %, a 2.29 GAA, and six shutouts. Hellebuyck is even better at home with a 22-5-2 record and the Red Wings are ranked 27th offensively, so I'm staying in my first class window seat as this Jet is about to take-off. Fire...

NHL Trade Deadline Breakdown For Daily Fantasy 3/1/18

NHL Trade Deadline Breakdown For Daily Fantasy 3/1/18 Hello everyone, finally we can all breathe after a very busy and one of the most exciting NHL trade deadlines that we have witnessed in a long, long time. I am here to break down the most fantasy-relevant trades for you in no particular order, so let's get started, shall we? Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NBA DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NBA lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NBA lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW!   Rick Nash - Boston Bruins - Traded from New York Rangers After spending his first nine years in Columbus and then six in New York, the first overall pick in the 2002 NHL entry draft now finds himself in Boston as he joins a solid Bruins squad ready for a lengthy playoff run. Nash has an impressive 800 points and an elite 3.54 shot per game average so far during his career which consists of 1,051 games. While he sported a -71 plus/minus in Columbus, he bounced back with a +64 during his six years in the Big Apple. Nash has a goal and 10 shots in his first two games with the Bruins while playing on the #2 line and the #1 powerplay unit and when Patrice Bergeron is back from his injury, it will only help his fantasy production. The biggest concern about Nash is his aging body as he hasn't played more than 70 games in his last four years, but from a fantasy perspective as long as he's healthy, his value is much higher as a member of the Bruins. Evander Kane - San Jose Sharks - Traded from Buffalo Sabres I honestly thought that the Sharks would have had to give up more for this guy, but maybe his past off-ice and character issues kept his price down a tad bit. Regardless, if Kane can't succeed at his current opportunity with the Sharks, then maybe he can't succeed anywhere in the NHL. Nobody can question the 26-year-old's immense talent as he has 340 points and an elite 3.54 shot per game average in 557 games in Buffalo and Winnipeg/Atlanta, but the fourth overall pick in 2009 can't seem to...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 3/1/18 Welcome back hockey fans. Tonight we have an eight-game slate with some tough matchups as six of the Top 10 defenses are in action but that doesn't mean there aren't some great plays for DFS. Let's dig in and take a look at some of them at each position. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Petr Mrazek FD - $7900 DK - $8200 Opponent - CAR Proj Pts FD - 15.11 DK - 3.75 With both Brian Elliott and Michael Neuvirth going on the IR recently, the Flyers made a trade last week for Petr Mrazek. So far it has proved to be a terrific move as he has been stellar in three starts with his new team allowing just four goals total(.950 save %) and is coming off a shutout of the Canadiens in Montreal last time out. He hasn't been facing a ton of shots as the Flyers defense has been playing well but he does get a nice matchup tonight vs. the Hurricanes who have dropped six straight games scoring just nine total goals. Fire up Mrazek in all formats. Devan Dubnyk FD - $8900 DK - $8500 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 14.41 DK - 3.6 I don't think we have to pay all the way up for Dubnyk tonight if Mrazek is confirmed between the pipes for the Flyers at a discount but if you have the salary to do it, he is safe in all formats. Dubnyk has won four straight starts and is 7-1-2 in his last 10 with a .929 save % and while the Wild have struggled on the road, they get a plus matchup vs. the Coyotes and their 30th ranked home offense. **Update - Alex Stalock will start for the WIld and is a GPP consideration**   CENTERS Tyler Seguin FD - $8100 DK - $7200 Opponent - TB Proj Pts FD...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/28/18

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/28/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have a smallish five-game slate in store for us, but as always it should not be short of excitement, so let's get this party started. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $8500 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 14.43 DK - 3.61 When searching for a goalie, everyone and their ancestors will be all over this guy today, who happens to lead the league with 37 wins and seven shutouts to go along with a respectable .927 save % and a 2.35 GAA. One of the biggest reasons why Vasilevskiy will be very popular is because the Sabres own the league's second-worst offense and they just traded away sniper Evander Kane to the Sharks. The young superstar has won his last four games and he and the Lightning should cruise to an easy victory, so all things considered, he is an elite cash game option and fade him at your own risk(not recommended). Semyon Varlamov FD - $7900 DK - $8000 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 13.75 DK - 3.23 Because Vasilevskiy will be very highly owned this evening, it is a great idea to look elsewhere in GPP formats and enter Varlamov, who has been money on home-ice this season with a 10-4 record to go along with a stifling .933 save % and a 2.31 GAA. The Flames own the league's eighth-ranked offense on the road and they can score goals in bunches which gives this guy a low floor, but his upside potential is huge at home, so fire him up in your tournament lineups this evening. CENTERS Nathan MacKinnon FD - $8300 DK - $7800 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 17.81 DK - 5.1 This superstar is a difficult fade on a full...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/27/18 Welcome back hockey fans. The dust has settled on another exciting trade deadline and we are back with a big nine-game slate tonight that includes for teams(WSH, VEG, TOR, LAK) who are playing on a back to back. Let's dig in and take a look at some of the top plays at each position. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Philipp Grubauer FD - $8000 DK - $8200 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 15.56 DK - 3.64 Holtby's struggles continued last night and he was pulled after giving up four goals on just 15 shots. Grubauer took over and ended up saving all 18 he faced and will almost undoubtedly be between the pipes tonight. He has been, by far, the better goalie in Washington and he has won three straight starts with while giving up just five goals on 97 shots(.948 save %). The Capitals are huge -210 home favorites tonight as they get an elite matchup vs. the Sens and their 30th ranked road offense. Fire up Grubauer in all formats. Devan Dubnyk FD - $8800 DK - $7900 Opponent - STL Proj Pts FD - 13.9 DK - 3.47 The ownership at goalie should be spread out tonight with so many top options playing on home ice and one of my favorites is Devan Dubnyk of the Wild. He comes in with a win in three straight games and has gone 6-2-1 over his last nine starts pushing his season record to 26-11-5. He has been so, so on the road this year but has been elite on home ice losing just three games in regulation(16-3-5) with a .931 save % and two shutouts. He also gets an elite matchup as the struggling Blues comes to town having lost six straight games while scoring just seven goals and now rank 22nd overall on offense. Dubnyk can also be considered in...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/26/18 Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of exciting NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have a small five-game slate on tap for us, but there are some high powered offenses in action to go along with a couple of weak defenses, so let's not waste any more time and get started with some picks. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Semyon Varlamov FD - $7700 DK - $8300 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.1 DK - 4.27 There are some tough matchups for a couple of great goalies today so we need to dig a little deeper and for me, it starts with Varlamov. The veteran tender has an overall record of 15-13-3, but when playing in Colorado he has an impressive 9-4-1 record to go along with a stifling .931 save percentage and a 2.40 GAA. The Canucks aren't much of a threat as they are ranked 23rd in offense and the Av's are listed as -180 favorites, so with all of these things considered, Varlamov is a great play and my top goalie in all formats. Petr Mrazek FD - $7900 DK - $8100 Opponent - MON Proj Pts FD - 15.27 DK - 3.82 Do you think that this guy likes his current situation or what? The young tender was the backup on a losing team and now he comes over as the starter for a surging Flyers squad who have won five-in-a-row and are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games. In his first two games with his new team, Mrazek has two victories while allowing only four goals and the Canadiens are ranked 28th offensively, so after Varlamov, Mrazek is my second favorite goalie today and a solid play in all formats. CENTERS Nathan MacKinnon FD - $7900 DK - $7500 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 15.39 DK - 4.46 There are so many...
