GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9000 DK - $8300 Opponent - STL Proj Pts FD - 0 DK - 3.73 Call me crazy for targeting a goalie in a game with a 6.5 Vegas total but there is a lot to like here. The Lightning are -190 home favorites against a Blues team that ranks 25th in road defense and while they have won four of their last five games, three of those wins came against teams in the bottom six of the overall standings. Despite giving up four or more goals three times(all on the road), Vasilevskiy has posted a .931 save % over the last 10 games with three shutouts and now sits 3rd in save % on the season. The price tag is high but is my clear #1 option in all formats. Anthony Stolarz FD - $7000 DK - $8000 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 19.08 DK - 4.77 If you are looking to pay down at goalie and load up on skaters in GPP formats, Stolarz is the man to target especially on DraftKings at only $7K. I was hoping rookie sensation, Carter Hart, was starting tonight but they decided to give him a rest as he has helped carry the team to an eight-game win streak. Stolarz has been very up and down this season giving up four or more goals four times in his 10 games but has also held opponents to two or fewer goals in four starts as well including a 33 save shutout against the Rangers in his last start. He not only has win potential tonight as the Flyers are -175 home favorites but he also has upside facing a ton of shots and matches up against a Kings team that ranks 30th overall on offense. That isn't even the first thing that stood out which easily makes him my top target tonight. The Habs are home favorites tonight facing a free-falling Ducks team that went into last night losers of 15 of their last 17 games and are currently down to the Leafs 4-1 in the third period and will be playing on a back to back and third game in four nights on Tuesday. They may not take a lot of shots(27.1 per game) but rank 30th overall on offense scoring just 2.3 goals per game. Fire up Price in all formats. Pekka Rinne FD - $8200 DK - $8200 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 17.74 DK - 4.43 I will likely be siding with Price on DraftKings for just $100 more but if you need an extra $500 wiggle room on FanDuel, Pekka Rinne is an interesting option tonight. He has struggled lately winning just four of his last 10 starts while recording a sub .900 save % but is still on of the best goalies in the league with the 3rd best defense and the 12th best offense in front of him. This game is also one of just four games on the slate with a low 5.5 Vegas Total and on top of that, the Preds are huge -290 home favorites against a Coyotes team playing on a back to back and third game in four nights all on the road. He has been terrific lately winning seven of his last 10 games with a .914 save % and is a huge -220 favorite at home tonight where he and the Jets, as a team, have strong splits on the season(Helle is 14-6-1 at home and Jets are 19-6-2). He now gets an elite matchup vs. a struggling Ducks team that has lost 14 of their last 16 games and has scored two or fewer goals in 11 of those games. Hellebuyck isn't just a safe cash play but also has upside as he has faced north of 34 shots per game over his last 10. All things considered, Hellebuyck is a great pay in all formats tonight. Robin Lehner FD - $8600 DK - $8200 Opponent - LA Proj Pts FD - 20.2 DK - 5.05 At this point, Lehner is slightly edging out Hellebuyck in our raw points projections and it makes sense. He has been outstanding lately going 8-1-1 with a .949 save % and two shutouts over his last 10 starts and now leads the league in both GAA(2.02) and save %(.931). Tonight, he and the Islanders are -170 home favorites against a Kings team that ranks dead last in offense and the only team to average under two goals per game on the road. I am picking on the California team tonight but I think both Hellebuyck and Lehner are great plays tonight. CENTERS Dylan Larkin FD - $6900 DK - $6900 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 18.52 DK - 5.3 I wrote up Larkin last night and will be going right back to the well tonight as his price remains in the sub $7K range on both sites. The win totals aren't where we would like them as he hasn't received much help offensively this season but went into the All-Star break with a 16-12-2 record and a .921 save %. He came out of the break hot as well making all 30 saves en route to a shutout of the Sabres on Tuesday. Tonight, he will be at home again as -135 favorites to the Wild who did go into the break hot but do rank outside the Top 20 on offense overall. Bishop is my top goalie and a great play in all formats. Also Consider: Matt Murray(PIT) who is a huge -250 home favorite against the Senators and provides big upside facing just over 33 shots per game on the season   CENTERS Evgeni Malkin FD - $8400 DK - $6300 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 17.08 DK - 4.97 The Penguins are my top priority tonight as they get an elite home matchup against the Senators who rank dead last in defense and have been even worse on the road allowing over four goals per game. What jumped off the page immediately when analyzing this slate was the price on Malkin on DraftKings as he sits in the low $6K range, $1,500 less than Crosby. Malkin has even out-produced Crosby lately as he comes in with 13 points(3 on PP) in his last 10 games with 31 shot on goal for an average of 4.5 DraftKings/16.1 FanDuel points per game. All things considered, Malkin is a core play for me on DraftKings while I will likely split he and Crosby on...

Philadelphia Flyers @ Boston Bruins The first game of the night gives us a battle between two Eastern Conference teams in different positions when looking at the current playoff picture. The Bruins are just one point out of third in the Atlantic division and lead the wildcard standings while the Flyers are way down in 13th in the East. The Bruins are big favorites in this one and it makes sense as they own the second-best home record(17-7-2) in the East thanks to a Top 5 overall defense while the Flyers sit outside the Top 20 in both offense(22nd) and defense(28th). The Flyers have been much better as of late as they are riding a five-game win streak but offensively, I will be looking towards the Bruins for the most part unless you want to play the contrarian game in GPP formats. David Pastrnak FD - $8100 DK - $7800 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 18.08 DK - 5.52 Pastrnak is easily my top play on this slate as he checks off all the boxes. I already talked about the terrific matchup as he faces a Flyers team that ranks 28th on defense and while he has been up and down lately he does come in with points in five of his last six games with 33 shots over his last 10 games. He is a player you can feel comfortable paying up for in all formats as he provides a high floor with an elite 11.9 shots/60 and 21.5 iCorsi/60 and a high ceiling averaging 9.6 scoring chances per 60. If you are stacking, my first choice is Patrice Bergeron at center or Brad Marchand at winger and you can also stack him with Jake DeBrusk who has been skating with that trio on the top powerplay unit. He enters tonight with points in five straight and 12 of his last 14 games and has also provided some safety averaging over 20 minutes of ice-time and 3.2 shots per game in that span. The Ducks do rank 12th overall on defense but have given up over 34 shots per game and have struggled mightily losing 13 of their last 15 games.
