He isn't garnering the same usage as in the past but has become an even more elite distributor averaging 12.5 rebounds over his last 10 games to go with 6.7 rebounds and 22.5 points for a fantasy return of over 55 points per game. He now faces a Utah defence that runs fast(11th in pace) and is 26th in defensive efficiency. Fire up Harden in all formats. Gary Trent Jr. FD - $6900 DK - $6100 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 33.52 DK - 35.06 The guard position is loaded in every price tier tonight so lineup construction will ultimately come down to the final injury report and how much value is available. If you are looking for a consistent mid-tier play for cash games, don't overlook Gary Trent. He is very shooting dependant and even with the Raptors at full strength, he has been one of their best players lately. He is averaging over 17 shots and 24 points per game over his last eight while giving us a return of 37.8 fantasy points per game. In a matchup against one of the most fantasy-friendly defence's in the league, I have Trent in my first-look cash builds for tonight. Green has a 28.4% usage rate on the season, but that number climbs to 33.5% with Porter off the court. It’s a “healthy” bump for the second-year guard who isn’t priced like what the opportunity could be here. The Rockets are big (-10.5) underdogs in this game, but the opportunity is there for the guard here and should be able to take advantage. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8500 DK - $9000Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 46.43 DK - 49.51 The Kings are pretty big favorites here but it’s tough to get away from Fox’s price on the slate considering he’s going up against a team in the Rockets with the third-worst defensive efficiency playing an above average pace. Sacramento has been involved with some blowouts over the last few games, effectively cutting Fox’s minutes, but in close ones it sure seems like the plan is to run him 36-37. That should give him a high enough floor, especially on the FanDuel price which is coming too cheap here. Guards Luka Doncic FD - $12200 DK - $12800 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 62.51 DK - 66.5 When we pay right up for these superstars, we are looking more for the raw points than the PTS/$ value but what's great about Luka is that he gives us both. It didn't take long for his price to hit the $12K range this season and that is right where it has sat for months which is crazy considering he is averaging 73.6 DraftKings points over his last nine games and 65.9 over the last 20. I see no reason he doesn't get there tonight in a pace-up game vs a fast Lakers team(2nd in pace) that ranks 21st in defensive efficiency and 24th in fantasy points to guards. Doncic is once again a building block for me in all formats. Gary Trent Jr. FD - $7200 DK - $6200 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 33.21 DK - 34.91 The mid-range when looking at guards is somewhat lacking tonight, which makes Gary Trent stand out, at least on DraftKings where the price is slow to catch up to the consistent form lately. He is a shooting-dependant guard but has been getting consistent usage with 13 or more shots in seven straight games and he has also been shooting about 3-4% better than his season averages which has resulted in 30 or more DraftKings points in each of those games. In a plus matchup against the Hornets that rank 25th in defence and 18th in fantasy points to guards, I am on board with Trent in all formats on DraftKings tonight. Gabe Vincent FD - $4100 DK - $4000 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 24.16 DK - 26.8 This is a very interesting game in that the Heat draw a terrible matchup against the Bucks 3rd ranked defence but have already ruled out multiple players leading to a ton of much-needed value, especially if playing Luka. Vincent got the start last game with both Lowry and Herro out and despite only shooting 25% from the field, still hit over 7x at his punt pricing. That price has gone up but a similar performance would still get him over 5x value which is a great floor and starting point tonight. I will have exposure in all formats. Small Forward...

It's tough to even keep track of all of these injuries, but it's imperative to be successful in DFS. Gauging who will step up in these circumstances is what separates the sharks from the fish, and we're hopeful that these articles will point you in the right direction. With that in mind, let's kick things off with our favorite point guards on this slate! Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $8600 DK - $8900 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 45.73 DK - 46.75 Fox has developed into one of my favorite players, and he could be on his way to the All-Star game. The speedy point guard is averaging 41 DraftKings points per game this season and would have an even higher average if it weren't for four games where he left early. He's also scored at least 42 DK points in five of his last seven games, scoring 54 or more fantasy points in two of those. One of those ceiling games could be in play against Houston, who rank 21st in points allowed and 28th in defensive efficiency. More importantly, they surrender the most fantasy points to opposing PGs, with Fox finishing with at least 50 DK points in two of their last three meetings. D'Angelo Russell FD - $7000 DK - $7400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 35.72 DK - 36.61 Russell gets a lot of crap because of his lack of effort at times, but this guy has been stellar since Karl-Anthony Towns went down with an injury. That's allowed Russell to score at least 31 DraftKings points in 18 of his last 21 games, generating a 35-point average in that span. That's all you can hope for from a $7K player, especially since D-Lo is seeing a massive boost in minutes, shot attempts, and usage in KAT's absence. The matchup with Detroit is the best part of this, though, with the Pistons ranked 29th in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. They also own a 29th OPRK against opposing...

But even if that was the case, I still think this is a fine spot to roster Harden. Detroit is the second-worst defense in the league this season and they run an above-average pace. The efficiency hasn’t been all the way there for Harden with Embiid out of the lineup, shooting just 39% from the field over his last four games, but the usage is solid and even if Embiid is back I don’t think the latter runs a ton of minutes. From a floor perspective, at these prices, Harden still makes for a good cash game option at these prices. Tyler Herro FD - $7800 DK - $8400Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 39.24 DK - 43.19 Kyle Lowry has already been ruled out of this game which means it’s likely that Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler take over ball-handling duties even more in this offense. With Lowry off the court this season, Herro sees a moderate usage bump, up to 27.4%, the highest on the team. And the assist percentage climbs as well. He’s a solid deal on FanDuel especially if the minutes are going to tick up and he’s facing off against a Thunder team running the second-fastest pace in the league. Plus, there’s a chance Bam Adebayo misses this game too. Keep an eye on this situation. Killian Hayes FD - $7100 DK - $5700Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 30.62 DK - 32.92 The Pistons are going to be without Bojan Bogdanovic in this game and of course, are already missing Cade Cunningham for the rest of the season, though the latter has been the case for some time now. Hayes is coming off being a chalk play last time out and he more than paid off, taking 17 shots in his 34 minutes and finishing with 26 points, six assists, four rebounds, and three steals. This leads us to a more balanced build at the position and it starts with Fox who has emerged from his slump in a big way. Over the last 12 games dating back to mid-December, Fox has averaged 27.7 points and 6.9 rebounds for nearly 45 fantasy points a game. Volume and usage is not an issue either as he comes into tonight having taken 20 or more shots in three straight and five of his last six games. At sub $9K prices on both sites in a plus matchup against the Magic, Fox is my top guard and in play in all formats. Dennis Schröder FD - $5800 DK - $5700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 26.6 DK - 29.26 The Lakers are playing a bit short-handed right now with both Austin Reaves and Lonnie Walker out for a couple of weeks and Anthony Davis still out. This has obviously led to some monster usage from LeBron but he hasn't been the only one benefiting as Schroder has seen a big increase in playing time and usage playing 32+ minutes and taking double-digit shots in six straight games while shooting over 50% from the field. He is very shooting dependant but in a game with a total approaching 240 against the Nuggets 24th ranked defense, I am on board in all formats. Tyus Jones FD - $5200 DK - $4900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 35.25 DK - 37.85 This is a situation we will have to monitor leading up to lock as Ja Morant missed Sunday's game with a thigh injury and is questionable on Monday along with Demond Bane.
