Anthony Edwards makes for a tough fade considering the usage rate has gone up in the wake of the D’Angelo Russell trade and he is coming off a 24-shot game against the Sixers on Tuesday evening. The price is still very manageable, especially on FanDuel where he’s still under $9K. I think he’s a popular play on this slate against a Brooklyn team that has definitely given it up on the defensive end at times. And then there’s Mike Conley who’s been a bit hit-or-miss lately with both the minutes and the production. It’s kept his price points on the lower side, but he’s also been able to spike some games here and there. He’s a bit on the riskier side all things considered, but the salaries make it a bit easier to stomach if he gets buzzed off his run for whatever reason. The Timberwolves do have some guards they like to play off the bench. Trae Young FD - $9500 DK - $9300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.29 DK - 48.91 Dejounte Murray FD - $8500 DK - $7700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 40.91 DK - 43.85 The Hawks and Wizards are rolling it back after playing each other on Wednesday. That one ended at 122-120 and an Atlanta win, but there was plenty of fantasy production to go around. Trae Young finished with 28 points and 10 assists while Dejounte Murray put up 17 points, six assists, four rebounds, and some defensive stats as well. The Wizards aren’t very good on defense with this personnel and we could see a high-scoring game once again from these two. In all seriousness, he has come out of the gates red-hot in the second half averaging a double-double on 27.6 points and 12.2 assists and has provided an average of over 55 fantasy points a game. Tonight he faces a Rockets team that has lost five of seven since the break, ranks 29th in defensive efficiency and dead last in fantasy points to the guard position. Fire up Haliburton as a core play in all formats. Jalen Green FD - $6800 DK - $6400 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.77 DK - 35.24 There are a ton of good matchups on this slate but it will be hard to not get as much exposure as possible to this Rockets/Pacers game with a 235.5 total with both teams ranking outside the Top 25 in defence. The Rockets will be without Kevin Porter tonight and that only elevates how consistent Jalen Green has been over the last month. That is tough to say for a shooting-dependent guard but it's true and even despite two complete duds is still averaging 33 fantasy points over his last 10 games. That is a solid floor at these prices and he should provide some upside here as well as he sees about a 3-4% bump in usage with Porter off the floor and goes from a 1.01 DK points per minute player to a 1.09 per minute player. Fire up Green in all formats. Mikal Bridges FD - $9000 DK - $8500 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 38.78 DK - 40.68 The Nets have started to roll and have created a three-game buffer on Miami for the final playoff spot(non-play-in spot) and newly acquired Mikal Bridges has played a huge role in that success. He has especially seen an increased role over the last three games where he has taken 20+ shots, dropped 30+ points, and averaged 51.7 DraftKings points. He will now make his first start with the Nets with Spencer Dinwiddie out and despite a tougher matchup against the Bucks, should continue to see an increase...

We have 13 teams battling for 10 playoff spots, and all of them are realistically in contention. It's crazy to have so many teams relevant at this point of the season, but it should lead to some fun basketball over the closing six weeks. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $11200 DK - $11500 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 54.5 DK - 57.3 Many people will see that Dame is facing Boston and fade him, but that's an excellent opportunity to hop on the train. It really doesn't matter who Lillard faces right now, scoring at least 52 DraftKings points in 16 of his last 22 games. He's also averaging 60 DK points per game for that span and is doing everything for this offense with Anfernee Simons sidelined. That's led to Lillard taking 26 shots a night over his last eight outings while playing nearly 40 minutes a game. That usage is absurd, making Dame tough to fade, no matter who he faces. It's not like the Celtics defense has been scary recently anyway, allowing at least 107 points in 11 straight games while surrendering 118 points per game in that stretch. Delon Wright FD - $5800 DK - $5200 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 28.92 DK - 27.34 This guy showed us on Tuesday why he's such a good fantasy option. Wright scored just three points on four shots but finished with 28 DK points in another stat-stuffing gem. What's made him so good is stepping into this expanded role, taking over starting point guard duties in the absence of Monte Morris. It's allowed Delon to post a 32-point average across his last eight outings. That's all you can ask for from a sub-$6K player, and he's proven to be a per-minute stud throughout his career, thanks to his stat-stuffing nature. Atlanta is an amazing matchup too, ranked 21st in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. Kyrie Irving (FD $9600 DK $9400) is averaging 55 DK points per game over his last three outings and is clearly benefiting from all the attention Luka Doncic...

It means that these guards will continue to be plays even with the price climbing in the short term. Considering Ja Morant has a whopping 37% usage rate on the season, there are some shots to fill in here. Bane is coming off a 22-shot performance on against the Clippers on Sunday and his usage rate climbs to 28.4% with Morant off the court this season. He’s a fantastic play at these prices. And then there is Tyus Jones who has a 30% assist rate with Morant out of the mix this season and gets the usage up to 19% as well. His price is on the rise, but remember, he’s coming off a 25-point, 12-assist game of his own. He’s set to play big minutes going forward considering how thin the Grizzlies now are in the backcourt. Stephen Curry FD - $9500 DK - $10100Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 51.01 DK - 56.4 Stephen Curry returned from injury on Sunday, stepping in to play 32 minutes right out of the game. He struggled a bit from the field, going 8-20 and 5-13 from three. But this is Curry we are talking about so there’s no real reason to sweat short-term results. He’ll get a good matchup against the Thunder here who play fast and the Warriors have a 120 implied total. Curry’s FanDuel price makes it pretty easy to fit him into lineups and we are buying a bit low. If Jalen Brunson is out again then Immanuel Quickley (FD 7300 DK 5000) makes for a lock DraftKings play. He’s coming off a monster game against the Celtics on Sunday. As good as he has been all season, he has been on another level since the start of February(13 games) averaging 38.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists for just over 59 fantasy points per game. He runs heavy minutes, gets a consistent dose of 20+ shots and now gets an elite matchup against the Pistons' 28th-ranked defence that is also 27th in fantasy points to guards. Lock and load in all formats. Tyrese Maxey FD - $6800 DK - $5500 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.02 DK - 33.65 Maxey has been terrific since re-entering the starting lineup for the 76ers dropping 26 or more points in all three games and averaging over 36 fantasy points over his last four games. Sure, he is running hot as a shooting-dependant guard but even with Harden and Embiid in the mix is getting over 16 shots a game and it's hard to argue the matchup against the Pacers who are 23rd in defensive efficiency and 22nd in fantasy points to guards. With the rising price on FanDuel I am probably out but on DraftKings where the price has barely budged I am all over Maxey in all formats. Tyler Herro FD - $7800 DK - $7300 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 36.18 DK - 40.16 With Kyle Lowry out since early February the Heat have been playing sub .500 basketball and have fallen in the standings. For fantasy, however, Tyler Herro has filled in nicely in Lowry's absence playing over 37 minutes a game and is averaging 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists over that 10-game stretch while providing over 35 fantasy points a game. The poor shooting at times can lead to some volatility in those fantasy scores but he gets a terrific matchup against a Hawks team that is outside the Top 20 in defence and runs at a Top 10 pace. JC has been considered a volatile bench scorer throughout his career, but he's done a wonderful job as Utah's starting point guard. Clarkson is averaging 34 DraftKings points per game this season, setting career highs across the board. What makes him so intriguing here is the fact that Utah is so shorthanded, trading away Mike Conley at the deadline and losing Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton to injuries. That means JC could be looking at 35 minutes, 20 shots, and a usage rate north of 30 percent! It's not like the Thunder are a terrifying matchup, with Clarkson collecting 37 DK points in their one matchup. Tyus Jones FD - $6000 DK - $3100 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 33.11 DK - 33.39 Ja Morant can't seem to go in public without waving a gun around, so, he's going to be suspended for the next two games. Anytime Morant is sidelined, Jones is always one of the best streamers out there. Tyus always starts at PG when Morant is sidelined, scoring at least 34 DraftKings points in eight of the nine starts he's made this year. That's no surprise since Jones averaged 30 DK points per game in 23 starts last year. That makes this DraftKings price laughable, especially since Memphis is missing Steven Adams, Dillon Brooks, and Brandon Clarke as well.
