The Joe Gibbs Racing team kept up the torrid pace they have been on lately with all four cars finishing in the top 11. The JGR team is carrying a lot of momentum into the Chase and should have all four cars competing for a title this year. Another team on a nice run as of late is the Penske team. With all that JGR has been doing lately, the Penske team has been under the radar so to speak. Between Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski, they have only finished outside the top 10 once in the previous five races. Another team building nice momentum going into the Chase. The rules package for Michigan didn't turn out to be a success like NASCAR had hoped. Passing was actually down from the June race at Michigan and drivers were not happy(are they ever?). NASCAR did, however, announce that there will be no rules package changes for the 10 races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Now we move to a race where there aren't really any changes that could make it any better than it already is. This week NASCAR and it's teams head to Bristol, Tennessee for the Irwin Tools Night Race. This is by far my favorite track and race of the year. Short track racing, especially Bristol, creates bumping and banging throughout the entire race. The chances of there being a clean car with no dings at the end of race is slim to none. Bristol has been nicknamed "The Worlds Fastest Half Mile" for a reason. Drivers reach speeds of up to 130 mph in short straightaways here before breaking hard and turning on the sharp 24 - 30 degree banked corners. Track position will be key here again this week as it always is at Bristol. When looking back at the 109 races run...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – Pure Michigan 400

Want to see how these picks and more fit into lineups for the Pure Michigan 400? Chris is selling a cheatsheet and lineups for DraftKings & FantasyFeud for $5. Just scroll to the bottom of the picks. This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership.   Pure Michigan 400 Michigan International Speedway - Brooklyn, MI Track Type/Length - 2.0 Mile D-Shaped Oval Joey Logano snuck away with the win at Watkins Glen this past weekend after Kevin Harvick ran out of fuel on the final lap. Joey swept the weekend winning both the Xfinity and Sprint Cup series races. Both wins were his first on a road course. Track position didn't end being the deciding factor on Sunday as 7 of the top 10 finishers started outside the top 10 at the beginning of the race. Kyle Busch kept his strong going and finished 2nd at Watkins Glen. He received enough points to jump into 30th in points and safe for now. There are four races remaining until the Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs begin and all drivers not locked in will have to be careful. NASCAR visits Michigan(new rules package), Bristol(Short Track Craziness), Darlington(new rules package), and Richmond(Fast Short Track). It will be an exciting month leading up to the Chase to see who makes it in and who comes up short. On to Michigan! This week NASCAR heads back to Brooklyn, Michigan for the second race here in 2015. Kurt Busch won the Quicken Loans 400 here back in June in a race that was stopped short due to rain. Kyle Larson and the #42 team had taken a risk in staying out as the leader hoping the rain would fall. He was forced to pit just 3 laps before the race ended due to the rain. It was a great gamble that just missed. This week Michigan International Speedway hosts the Pure Michigan 400. This race will be different than the June race in a NASCAR and a fantasy aspect. First of all NASCAR will be using a new rules package for this track. It is the same package that was ran at Indianapolis and created lower downforce and higher drag which in turn produced more drafting and passing. From a fantasy perspective, DraftKings has added a 6th driver to lineup building which lowered salaries. You won't be able to compare salaries but you...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen

Daily Fantasy Nascar Picks Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly Nascar picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings Nascar DFS be sure to click on the banner below. Want to see how these picks and more fit into lineups for the Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen? Chris is selling a cheatsheet and lineups for DraftKings & FantasyFeud for $5. Just scroll to the bottom of the picks. This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership.   Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen Watkins Glen International - Watkins Glen, NY Track Type/Length - 2.428 Mile Road Course The Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway ended with fuel mileage ultimately deciding the winner. It looked likely that Joey Logano would take the checkered flag late into the race before running out of fuel with three laps remaining. Kyle Busch, who was fast all day, trailed in second and probably knew he was in trouble as he was on the same pit strategy as Logano. He didn't let up much at all to try and save fuel, but instead pushed it for the win. Sure enough he ran out of fuel on the final lap and watched teammate Matt Kenseth pass him and grab the win. Kyle still finished in 21st and gained a few points in the standings and remains just 13 points back of 30th going into Watkins Glen this weekend. It was another win for the Joe Gibbs Racing team who has won 5 of the last 6 races and will look for another this weekend. The winner of the $5K Happy Hour on DraftKings this past week had a lineup constructed of Biffle, Allmendinger, Bowyer, Earnhardt Jr, Gordon, and Johnson. A pretty balanced lineup with all the drivers finishing inside the top 10 with place differential being the biggest bonus for most. There were not near as many overlapping lineups this week which should be a positive moving forward. Now onto this week. The drivers suit up for another road course test this week at Watkins Glen International for the Cheez-It 355. With only five races remaining before the Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs begin there will be some crew chiefs holding their breath this Sunday at Watkins Glen. NASCAR has implemented a rain package for the cars this weekend in the case that there is rain. The package includes windshield wipers, de-foggers, rear flashing lights and of course rain tires. It could definitely be a wildcard winner this weekend should there be rain but if not look for a group of drivers...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – Windows 10 400

This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership.   Windows 10 400 Pocono Raceway - Long Pond, PA Track Type/Length - 2.5 Tri Oval Superspeedway I am really enjoying kicking off these most recent articles with a recap of Kyle Busch winning....again! He made it 3 in a row on Sunday and inched even closer to that Chase birth. He became the first driver since Jimmie Johnson in 2007 to record 3 straight wins. At this point Kyle only needs about an average finish of 20th to sneak inside the top 30 in the standings but don't, for one second, think he is going to play the points game. It isn't in him to play it safe. He has always been an aggressive driver and if he sees a window of opportunity he is going to take it and go for the win every time! Ok, Ok enough Kyle Busch love for one article. Lets take a look at this week. It seems like just yesterday Martin Truex Jr. captured the Checkered Flag for his first win of the season at Pocono. Well, we are back for round 2 this weekend for the Windows 10 400. The track is a 2.5 mile superspeedway with a twist. They call it the tricky triangle as it has three unique turns banked between 6 and 14 degrees. As I mentioned last race at Pocono it has been a dominating track for Hendrick Motorsports and even though they didn't continue the streak of wins last time here it was the #78 team who took home the win, who happens to be a satellite team of HMS. Look for the HMS drivers and satellite team drivers to again finish at the top. DraftKings has made a few changes to the scoring and lineup makeup this week. With the high number of overlapping lineups in all formats each week, DraftKings has decided to add an extra driver to the lineup construction to avoid this. With this change, the salaries for the drivers has dropped and bunched them closer together. They have also removed the Pass Differential Bonus Points from the scoring system as well. With these changes...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – The Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard

Just scroll to the bottom of the picks. This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership.   The Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard Indianapolis Motor Speedway - Indianapolis, IN Track Type/Length - 2.5 Mile Oval Superspeedway Kyle Busch picked up his third win is four races at New Hampshire this past weekend to climb even closer to a Chase birth. He is now sitting in 33rd in the standings and only 58 points behind the 30th position. He has been on an amazing streak of late and looks more motivated than I have ever seen him. The key to the victory was the late race pass between Keselowski and Harvick to get back on the lead lap and eventually take the lead when the caution flew minutes later. Keselowski and Harvick had the fastest cars all day but the #18 team made the right move at the right time and had it work out. This week NASCAR heads to Indianapolis for the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard. One of the most famous racing venues in all of racing. The track is a unique flat surface Superspeedway with long straightaways much like Pocono. This week NASCAR is implementing changes to the package for Indianapolis. They are again looking to create more down-force to create closer fields and produce more drafting and slingshot passing. Some of the drivers, however, don't feel the package is going to produce the results they are looking for. We will have to wait and see on Sunday. All drivers not running in a Chevrolet will be hoping the package makes a dramatic change as a Chevrolet has won each of the previous 12 races at Indianapolis. You can also look at rostering some past champions this week as 17 of the 21 races here at the Brickyard were won by past champions. Upper Tier Targets ($10,000+) Kevin Harvick DraftKings - $13,900 Fantasy Feud - $285,000 Vegas Odds - 4/1 Sprint Cup Standings – 1st Qualified - 6th Coming in as the favorite this week and for good reason. He has only finished outside the top 10 twice on the season. That is amazing when you think...

Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – 5 Hour Energy 301

Want to see how these picks and more fit into lineups for the 5 Hour Energy 301? Chris is selling 2 DraftKings and 2 Fantasy Feud lineups plus a cheatsheet for $5. Just scroll to the bottom of the picks. This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership.   5 Hour Energy 301 New Hampshire Motor Speedway - Loudon, NH Track Type/Length - 1.058 Mile Intermediate Oval /strong> Kyle Busch picked up his 2nd win in three weeks last weekend at Kentucky Speedway. It was also his 2nd win at Kentucky in its five year Cup Series existence and ties Brad Keselowski for most in NASCAR. Joey Logano had the lead after a late restart but with the new aero package on the cars for the race, Kyle was able to catch Logano and eventually pass for the lead that he wouldn't give up. The new aero package, which was a Kentucky specific package, was a successful change by NASCAR. It created more down-force on the cars which led to multiple passing opportunities and had the feel of old school racing. NASCAR will implement other changes moving forward like a new tire package from Goodyear when the cars hit Darlington in September. If Kentucky was any sign of things to come, 1.5 mile racing will continue to get better for both the teams and its fans. Now onto New Hampshire. This week the Sprint Cup Series head to Loudon, New Hampshire for the 5 Hour Energy 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This is another track much like Sonoma where becoming a repeat winner is very tough. Since 2008, only Joey Logano has won at Loudon twice. Even though it is tough to win here multiple times there is still a short list of drivers who consistently run well at New Hampshire. It is very hard to pass here which puts a premium on qualifying and track position during the race. This will make analyzing the practice and qualifying data very important this week. I update my cheatsheet after Final Practice, so be sure to get your updated copy on Saturday sometime. This week I will be adding Fantasy Feud salaries to my cheatsheet and article. They have a very well done product that supports NASCAR. They offer a salary cap game in which you roster six drivers within a $1,000,000 Salary Cap and receive points for finishing...
