As of this writing, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is questionable so we will need to see where he lands, but if he plays he’s a top option here. For starters, the Hornets stink so he draws one of the best matchups on the slate. The Thunder still have a chance at the playoffs here and they seem like they are going for it with SGA playing solid minutes in the short term. He’s had an unbelievable season, has ascended into superstar territory and still isn’t priced for his production in this matchup. Keep an eye on his injury status here for sure. **Update - SGA is out tonight** s Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6500 DK - $7000Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 33.1 DK - 33.91 Again, a theme of this slate is that we are likely going to be playing some guys on tanking teams. That’s the nature of these late season slates wherein some good and great players have been shut down for the season or are at least being injury managed. One of them is the Hornets who are already without LaMelo Ball and now Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward are out as well. Dennis Smith Jr. has been starting at point guard and that should remain the case in this game. He went for 14 points, six assists, and five rebounds last game against the Mavs in just 28 minutes. He did have foul trouble and I think the real minutes are more around 30+ and though he’s getting expensive, if Kelly Oubre is out as well then the usage should be there. Delon Wright FD - $5800 DK - $5400Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 32.79 DK - 33.28M We are going to need to keep an eye on the Wiz situation leading into this slate. Guards Kyrie Irving FD - $9400 DK - $9800 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 48.67 DK - 52.02 While things maybe haven't gone exactly as planned since joining the Mavericks(who seen that coming?), there is still a lot to like here as Kyrie checks a lot of boxes. First of all, Luka is facing a one-game suspension for his 16th technical foul which should hand a large portion of the ball handling and usage to Kyrie who has seen 23 and 24 shots in the last two games he has played without Luka. The Mavericks are also in desperate need of a win now sitting a game back of the play-in and luckily get a nice matchup against the Pacers' 26th-ranked defence. At a price that is back under $10K on both sites, Kyrie is in play in all formats Monday. Tyrese Maxey FD - $7700 DK - $7700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 37.14 DK - 40.18 We have a matchup between top three teams in each conference with the 76ers currently sitting as five-point dogs which does tell us a little bit about the status of James Harden who has missed each of the last three games. No matter the status, I am on board with Maxey who has been playing terrific in the short-term(with & without Harden) averaging 26.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists for just over 43 fantasy points per game. We are projecting a close, high-scoring game and while the Nuggets rank 14th overall in defensive efficiency they have struggled against guards giving up the fourth most fantasy points to the position. Maxey is in play in all formats and would get a nice boost in PTS/$ if Harden sits again. Stay tuned. Shaedon Sharpe FD - $7200 DK - $6200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 30.61 DK - 33.04 Portland's 2023 first-round pick is finally getting thrust into a bigger role and has looked terrific in the process. He has played monster minutes(35+ in each), led the team in shots, and dropped 24 or more real points and 34 or more fantasy points in all three games. FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/26/23 It's hard to believe, but we only have two weeks remaining in the regular season. However, this is one of the most challenging times to play DFS because the injury reports are laughably long. It would be one thing if we're dealing with just injuries, but throwing in resting players has DFS looking like a tsunami of chaos. The good news is that we have some information headed into this Sunday slate and will bank on some of that. With that in mind, let's start with one of the most improved players in the NBA. The young guard is averaging 40 DraftKings points per game, which is a genuinely absurd average for a $7,500 player. It's not like his recent form has killed his salary, with DG posting a 38-point average across his last 14 outings. We expect that to be his floor in this matchup, with the Rockets ranked 28th in defensive efficiency and 29th in points allowed. They're also surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season, with Garland dropping 53 DK points in their one matchup. There might not be a better play below $8,000. Dennis Smith Jr. FD - $6500 DK - $6000 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 32.52 DK - 31.95 This Charlotte roster is starting to throw in the towel. They've lost LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, and Kelly Oubre to injuries recently, and that should force Smith into the starting lineup. More importantly, he's a stat-stuffing point guard who will be the primary ball-handler for the remainder of the season. This expanded role has led to DSJ scoring at least 28 DraftKings points in 11 of his 14 starts this year while averaging over 32 fantasy points per game in those outings. He's doing that damage despite some poor shooting, but a revenge game against a freefalling Dallas defense should have him on target. While I am not expecting another ceiling game tonight, the upside and opportunity are there as Fox left the game in the third quarter last night and is questionable to doubtful on Saturday. If that's the case, Huerter quickly becomes one of our top PTS/$ value plays, especially on DraftKings in the mid $5K range. Tyrese Maxey FD - $7400 DK - $7300 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 37.39 DK - 40.64 De'Anthony Melton FD - $6500 DK - $5800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 30.07 DK - 31.61 The 76ers are also on a back-to-back tonight and like the Kings, could also be without their point guard, James Harden, who has missed two straight games. In his absence, there has been some PTS/$ value to go around starting with Tyrese Maxey who has seen 16 or more shots in four straight games, going back to when Harden was healthy, and has delivered shooting 50% from the field and averaging over 40 fantasy points a game. For Melton, he went through a bit of a rough patch after the break but has heated back up recently dropping 40 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games thanks to a very balanced attack across multiple fantasy categories. We will have to watch the news closely but if Harden is out, both 76ers' guards are in play once again tonight. Small Forward Kawhi Leonard FD - $10300 DK - $10100 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 50.36 DK - 52.72 I mentioned on Thursday that Kawhi would receive a big boost with no Paul George and he delivered a near-flawless game dropping 13 fo 15 from the field for 32 points while adding six rebounds, six assists, and four steals for nearly a 60 fantasy point effort. Even with PG13 in the lineup, Kawhi has been very consistent since the break shooting 57% on 18 shots a game while averaging...

I am still scratching my head as to why SGA remains in the $9K range as he has been fantastic since the break and while dealing injuries, as well. Over his last eight games, he is averaging 35 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists for over 51 fantasy points a game. It's a tougher matchup on paper as the Clippers are 12th in defensive efficiency but they are missing Paul George and the current total(233) is the highest on the slate so I am not worried at all. I will have exposure to SGA in all formats. Jalen Brunson FD - $9000 DK - $7800 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.43 DK - 41.33 Speaking of coming in at a discount, at least on DraftKings, Jalen Brunson continues to run a sub $8K price tag for the third straight game. It's definitely not due to efficiency as he is shooting 56% from the field on 34 shots over the last two games while playing 37 minutes in both. In the past, we might have called him a highly volatile, shooting-dependant guard but he has seen his assist rate(6.2 per game) sky-rocket in 2023 aiding his "safety" and floor and with his current price on DraftKings, is in play in all formats. Cole Anthony FD - $6200 DK - $5600 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 27.65 DK - 30.09 While it has been Gary Harris and Markelle Fultz in the starting lineup over the last three games since Jalen Suggs went down with a concussion, it has been Cole Anthony providing the biggest value from a fantasy perspective. Nothing has really changed in terms of minutes but he has seen an uptick in usage taking 14 or more shots in those three games while tallying 33 fantasy points in each. Even with Suggs in the lineup, his form trending as he had provided 27 or more fantasy points in the three games prior. On this smaller slate where value is hard to come by, I will have a ton of exposure...

There's undoubtedly going to be some value from that team, but we have no clue who's even going to suit up! That's just the nature of some of these tanking teams, and it's something we'll have to deal with for the final three weeks. We still have some players in great spots, though, so let's kick things off with one of the best scorers of all time. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $10300 DK - $10500 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 51.2 DK - 53.65 We're only a few games away from Lillard getting shut down, but he's going to keep balling as long as Portland is alive in the playoff hunt. Despite losing six straight games, Dame is the leading scorer over the last month. He's got at least 42 DraftKings points in 31 straight games, averaging 36.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game in that span. That's hard to overlook, but it makes Dame impossible to avoid since Portland is expected to be without Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons. That means Dame could be looking at 40 minutes, 30 shots, and a 40 percent usage rate against a 24th-ranked Utah defense. If he gets that sort of role, Lillard has to be one of the favorites for the high score on this slate! When he played the Jazz back on January 25, Dame dropped 89 DraftKings points in an absolute masterpiece. T.J. McConnell FD - $6300 DK - $5900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 29.32 DK - 29.41 I'll always have a soft spot for McConnell because he was a minimum-priced stud in my largest GPP cash ever, and he's always played well when given the playing time and opportunity. That's what we have right now because TJ is locked into a 25-minute ball-handling role with Tyrese Haliburton injured. That's allowed McConnell to score at least 28 DK points in five straight fixtures while generating a 38-point average when he's played at least 24 minutes this season. His stat-stuffing...
