Point Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $8500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.63 DK - 45.88 Just five games tonight but some outstanding matchups await and it starts with the Raptors who get the best of them all against a hornets team that is 24th in defensive efficiency and run the second-fastest pace in the league. For Fred, it starts with the consistency as he comes in having dropped 40 or more DK points in eight straight(average of 45.0) and that is shooting just 34% from the field in that time. The best news here is that his DK price has dropped to its lowest point since late November which makes him an elite play for me in all formats. Kyle Lowry FD - $5600 DK - $6600 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 26.36 DK - 29.79 Lowry has been limited in both games since his return with the second more on the huge blowout than him actually being restricted as he still ended up playing 31 minutes. He should be back to full strength tonight and that is great news as his price has dropped to season-low on both sites. This game does have the lowest total(209) on this slate but this is an above-average matchup for the Heat as the Wizards rank 21st in defensive efficiency. All things considered, Lowry is on my shortlist for top PTS/$ plays tonight on both sites. Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $8500 DK - $8400 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 39 DK - 42.32 Mitchell made his return to the Jazz on Friday and while he was eased back in playing just 22 minutes, he looked great dropping 8 of 10 from the field(6 of 7 from behind the arc) for 42.8 DK/38.6 FD points. He should get back to his usual rotation on Monday and that is great news as the price remains suppressed, especially on DraftKings where he has been in the $9K for most of the season. He is a high-volume shooter who also contributes multiple categories making him a great play in all formats on this smaller five-game slate. Aaron Holiday...

That deadline takes place on Thursday, and we had our first big trade on Friday. There will undoubtedly be more in the coming days, and that's one of the best ways to capitalize on DFS. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11600 DK - $12000 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 54.2 DK - 56.48 Luka has been one of the best players in fantasy since he was drafted, and he could honestly be in this article every day. We like him here because of his recent form, scoring at least 65 DraftKings points in seven of his last 10 games. He's actually got 71 or more in three straight, and it's easy to understand why since Luka is flirting with a 40 percent usage rate with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined. He was already leading the NBA in usage before, and he's literally touching the ball on every play right now. Facing Atlanta is the jelly in the donut, with the Hawks ranked 25th in points allowed and 27th in defensive efficiency. Not to mention, you know Doncic will be motivated against the team who passed up on him in the draft. Brandon Goodwin FD - $4800 DK - $5400 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 27.22 DK - 27.32 Goodwin was a free agent just last week, but he's stepped in and been fantastic for the Cavs. A gluttony of injuries has forced him into this role, with Darius Garland, Collin Sexton, and Ricky Rubio all injured. That has led to BG scoring at least 26 DK points in three straight outings, averaging 35 fantasy points per game across 34 minutes a night over the last two outings. That's tough to find from a $5K player, and it looks like he's a lock for 30-35 minutes as long as Garland remains out. Facing the Pacers is...

Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $10000 DK - $9700 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 45.89 DK - 48.42 Chris Paul has been one of the best closers and all-around point guards in the game this season which has the Suns sitting as the top team in the league and the reason Paul's price has reached the $10K mark. I am not at all concerned as he has been very productive lately averaging 20.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 13 assists over his last eight games, and now gets a plus matchup against the Hawks(27th in defensive efficiency) in a projected close, high-scoring game. Fire up Paul in all formats. Ayo Dosunmu FD - $5500 DK - $5600 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 23.95 DK - 26.03 After peaking in the mid $6K range at the end of January, Ayo's price is back in a more comfortable range which makes him a much more attractive fantasy option. He has stepped into a starting role with the barrage of injuries to the Bulls starters and has been consistent averaging 12.7 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.7 rebounds while hitting cash value in eight of those 10 games(31.9 DK/31.4 FD points per game). The matchup doesn't jump off the page as the Raptors are mid-pack in defense and run the 28th fastest pace but opportunity is there and this game is expected to stay close throughout. At these prices, I will have exposure in all formats. Shooting Guard Gary Trent Jr. FD - $7100 DK - $6100 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 29.8 DK - 31.1 Yes, I am a bit of a Raptors homer up here in Canada but no matter where you are from it is hard to ignore what Trent is doing right now. It starts with the insane volume as he has now taken 20+ shots from the field(10+ from behind the arc) in five straight games while averaging 44.6 DK/42.7 FD points per game. That is production we normally get from players in the $8K-$9K range and while both teams are ranked mid-pack in terms of defense this is a slight pace-up matchup for the Raptors,...

The Courses Previous Five Winners 2021 - Daniel Berger(-18) 2020 - Nick Taylor(-19) 2019 - Phil Mickelson(-19) 2018 - Ted Potter Jr.(-17) 2017 - Jordan Spieth(-19) The PGA Tour remains in California this week for the annual trip to the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links. With the return of the Pro-Am this year, the event will also get back to its regular three-course rotation as all players will play one round on Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula each of the first three days. The cut(Top 65 & ties) will be made following Saturday's round with the final round being played on Pebble Beach on Sunday. The Pro-Am definitely deters some of the top golfers and that trend continues this week as we have just one player in Patrick Cantlay(#4) ranked Top 10 in the World and he is joined by just 10 of the Top 50 when looking at the Official World Golf Rankings. All three courses are Par 72's on the short end of the meter with Spyglass the longest at just 7,035 yards. While weather can affect how things play out, we generally see Monterey play as the easiest of the three followed by Spyglass and then Pebble Beach. With Pebble being played twice and with it being the only course with shot tracker, this is the course I will focus on when putting together my stats model. That model will be looking heavily at Strokes Gained: Approach with emphasis on Proximity from the short and mid ranges(depending on player). With the smallest greens on Tour at Pebble Beach, I will also be mixing Strokes Gained: Around the Green and putting on Poa greens. With all that said, let's get into the picks. Patrick Cantlay World Golf Ranking (#4) Vegas Odds (8/1) Draftkings ($11,200) FanDuel ($12,300) I was a bit surprised the...

Point Guard Anfernee Simons FD - $6900 DK - $7000 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 34.48 DK - 38.69 With Damian Lillard out over the last month, it has been Simons stepping into a much larger role and boy has he handled it well. In those 14 games, he has topped 33 minutes on the floor in all of them while averaging 24.1 points, 7.0 assists, and 2.7 rebounds for 41 DK/35.2 FD points per game. He now faces a Thunder team who, on paper, don't look like a great matchup ranking 13th in defensive efficiency but they have really struggled in the short term losing 12 of their last 13 games and have given up 111 or more points in four of their last five. The price is still reasonable on both sites and I will have exposure in all formats. Gabe Vincent FD - $5000 DK - $4800 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 24.75 DK - 27.26 Speaking of stepping in for injured teammates, Gabe Vincent has been thrust into a starting role with Kyle Lowry out since mid-January. He hasn't blown the doors off by any means but has averaged 28 DK/26.8 FD points per game which is a solid return for a value guard. The good news is that he has seen an increase in usage in the very short-term taking 15 shots in each of the Heat's last two games and topping 30 DK points in both. He draws a tougher matchup against the Celtics tonight but the price has budged making him a nice high floor PTS/$ play in cash games. Shooting Guard C.J. McCollum FD - $7800 DK - $7600 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 38.3 DK - 41.08 Like I mentioned above, the matchup against the Thunder looks average-at-best on paper(13th in def eff) but they have struggled mightily in the short-term and we are going to try and take advantage of that. Outside of his first game back, McCollum has returned to form averaging 22 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists and more good news is that the usage has continued to increase as he has taken 20+...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 1/30/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 1/30/21 Most eyes will be fixated on the NFL here, but we're going to keep grinding NBA profits. We have eight games making up this Sunday card, and there's plenty to discuss. We actually have the three best players in fantasy on this slate, and that's a rare sight considering how small it is. We also have numerous key players missing, which will surely be a significant theme in this article. With that in mind, let's get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10800 DK - $11200 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 53.35 DK - 55.6 There's more value on this slate than ever before, so it's going to be easier to get Luka into your lineups than you may think. We believe getting him in there will be critical because he's a near guarantee for 50 fantasy points. We're talking about a guy who's averaging 54 DraftKings points per game for the season, scoring at least 65 fantasy points in four of his last seven games. That's a genuinely absurd stretch from one of the best players in the NBA, and he could be asked to do even more here. He's already leading the NBA with a 36 percent usage rate but could be pushing 40 percent with Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr missing this game. The matchup with the Magic is also majestic, and we'll go over that more later! Tre Jones FD - $4100 DK - $3000 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 23.6 DK - 23.85 It's not every day that you can find a minimum-priced starting point guard that will play 30 minutes. We can confidently say that here, though, because the Spurs are resting Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, and Jakob Poeltl. Those three swallow up nearly all of the team's usage and most of their fantasy points. Tre has been the guy who has started for Murray in the past, playing 25-30 minutes in that role. If you look at the six games Tre has played at least 20 minutes, he's averaging 25 fantasy points per game. That would be a monster total from someone this cheap, and it's going to...
