Point Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $5200 DK - $6100 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 33.19 DK - 34.77 It's risky to use or recommend Clarkson on most occurrences, but we always like him when one of these guards are out. Mike Conley has already been ruled out for a rest spot, and JC actually had the best game of his career the last time Conley sat out. In fact, Clarkson collected 55 DraftKings points, despite providing any peripheral statistics just last week. The simple fact is, his minutes, shots, and ball-handling are all up with Conley out of the lineup. We didn't even mention that Bojan Bogdanovic is out as well, leaving more shots on Clarkson's plate. The matchup with New York isn't too shabby either, with the Knicks sitting 18th in total defense this season. Tyus Jones FD - $4200 DK - $4000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 33.12 Ja Morant is having a magical season, but he's already been ruled out for this game because of a knee issue. Tyus has been tremendous in this role throughout the last two years. In his 15 starts this season, Jones averages 29 DraftKings points per game in over 30 minutes a night. He was actually even better last year, and it's clear that he's the go-to PG when Morant needs some games off. The matchup with Houston might be the best part of this, though, with the Rockets ranked second in pace and dead-last in defensive efficiency and points allowed. They're also surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing PGs, making Tyus the best value play on the board. Jordan Poole leads the Warriors in usage rate with Stephen Curry off the...

Point Guard/Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $8800 DK - $9600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 58.76 DK - 64.08 We are going to want to stack some of these Mavericks on this slate of games facing off against Charlotte who runs the third-fastest pace and plays a defense ranked in the bottom third of the league. That’s a great spot and Luka makes for a pretty easy spend-up. The Mavericks are coming on the second half of the back-to-back here after losing to the Sixers on Friday, and Doncic definitely struggled. He went 5-20 from the field in the loss. But the Hornets provide a soft landing here considering the potential pace of the game and no clear defensive stopper on their team. Luka is likely to be a chalkier play on the three-gamer. Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6100 DK - $6700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 34.32 DK - 37.67 Jalen Brunson FD - $5200 DK - $6300Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 31.92 DK - 34.61 Stacking Mavericks? You bet. I think running the three-guards from this team is totally reasonable considering the way they’ve been playing and the matchup. For starters, Dinwiddie is getting up about 14 shots per game in the short term, and since the trade deadline has averaged right around 19 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Plus, the production has gotten a bit more consistent since he joined the starting lineup on a permanent basis. On a bigger slate, there is almost no way I would consider this, but the shorter ones make for more interesting decisions. And then there’s Brunson whose production has been similar all things considered. He and Dinwiddie are the second and third scoring options on this team by a pretty wide margin over the rest of the group, working to lighten some of the offensive load off of Luka. It’s mostly worked. Are they a bit expensive for their production? Sure, but I think stacking the three against Charlotte provides a nice floor in cash games. Russell Westbrook FD - $6900 DK - $8700Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 36.23 DK - 40.46 He’s so cheap on FanDuel that you...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/16/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/16/22 If you love watching a lot of basketball, this slate is for you. This is the appetizer for the NCAA tournament, with 12 games making up this massive Wednesday card. If you know me, you know that I kind of hate these slates. There are just too many teams and too many players to pick from. It always leads to some crazy high-scoring in DFS tourneys and it's tough to match up with some of the optimal bots out there. With that said, we feel like we have a great group of 10 players to choose from, so let's get started with some ball-handlers. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Alec Burks FD - $5800 DK - $6000 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 28.86 DK - 29.26 Burks isn't necessarily a traditional point guard, but he's been the Knicks primary ball-handler for a month now. The Derrick Rose injury helped to bump his usage, but the Kemba Walker situation gave him all the point guard minutes he can handle. In fact, Burks has played at least 34 minutes in seven of nine starts since recapturing this role, averaging 29 DK points per game across 35 minutes in his 30 starts for the year. That's really all you can hope for from a $6K player, especially with Alec scoring at least 34 fantasy points in four of his last six games. The matchup with Portland is the icing on the cake, though, with the Trail Blazers ranked 26th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency. Patrick Beverley FD - $5100 DK - $4900 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 26.26 DK - 25.89 It's hard to understand why Beverley has remained this cheap all season. Injuries have derailed a few games over the last month, but he's been amazing aside from that. Pat-Bev has at least 22 DK points in 27 of the previous 29 games he's finished, generating a 29-point average in that span. That's tough to find from a $5K player, but it's no surprise when you see that he regularly plays 30-35 minutes for a team that plays at the fastest pace in the NBA. That becomes even more attractive...

Guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10000 DK - $10400 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 53.15 DK - 55.77 We have an interesting slate for high-priced plays on Monday as almost all the players have either tough matchups or potential for blowouts. One player who jumps off the page for me is SGA who gets a terrific matchup as this game has a high total and while the Hornets are seven-point favorites, they rank 23rd in defensive efficiency and 3rd in pace. For SGA, despite a dud vs the T-Wolves last time out, he is averaging over 50 fantasy points per game since returning from a one-month absence due to injury. With Giddey still out a couple of weeks, SGA is a core play for me on this slate in all formats. Dejounte Murray FD - $10900 DK - $10800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 51.7 DK - 54.52 This is a game we are going to want some exposure to with its monster total(239) and after resting on Saturday, Murray is both back in the lineup and back under $11K on both sites. He has been a picture of consistency all season long and has been even better in the short term nearly averaging a triple-double(24.5 pts, 8.3 reb, 10.3 ast) and over 50 fantasy points per game since the start of February. The T-Wolves are the 11th ranked defense in terms of efficiency but with this total and projected close game I am not too concerned and it would also be an upgrade if Pat Bev sits out(currently Q). Either way, I will have exposure in all formats. Terry Rozier FD - $8100 DK - $8100 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 37.7 DK - 40.22 On the other side of this game, the Hornets are hanging on to a play-in spot in the East and a lot of that can be contributed to the consistency of Terry Rozier. Since the start of February, he is second on the team in usage(25%) behind LaMelo Ball while averaging 22.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.8 stocks per game and has tallied 43 or more fantasy points in...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/9/22
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/9/22 It's actually a 12-game slate, and it took forever to digest the player pool. There's also a laundry list of injuries, and numerous changes will inevitably happen before tip. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Russell Westbrook FD - $6800 DK - $8500 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 45.99 DK - 49.19 This might be the first time I've written up Westbrook all season, but this is the spot to use him. The most crucial factor is that Anthony Davis and LeBron James are expected to miss this game. That means Westbrook can return to the high-usage guard that made him a $10K player in his days with OKC, stuffing the stat sheet at ease. That paired with the matchup makes Russ impossible to avoid, with Houston playing at the second-fastest pace in the NBA while ranked dead-last in defensive efficiency. He's crushed them in their three meetings this season, averaging 23.7 points, 10 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game. Cameron Payne FD - $6800 DK - $6500 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 37.31 DK - 38.39 Cam has been great filling in for the Suns. They're currently missing Chris Paul and Devin Booker, leaving Payne with all the usage he can handle. He's actually scored at least 39 DraftKings points in three straight outings, averaging 46 fantasy points per game in that span. That's no surprise when you see that Cam averaged 40 fantasy points per game in his three starts for CP3 last season. All of that means he should probably be an $8K player, and it limits any risk from this tough matchup. With all that said, this is the second half of a B2B, so if Payne is rested for some reason, don't forget about Aaron Holiday. We like whoever starts at point guard for the Blazers, with Anfernee Simons and Brandon Williams both way too cheap. Shooting Guard Jalen Green FD - $6000 DK - $5700 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 26.3 DK - 27.77 Most rookies tend to get off to slow starts, which was certainly the case for Green. With that said, he's really found his stride recently, scoring at least 28 DraftKings...

Guards Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $10200 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 48.71 DK - 53.5 With a month left in the season, the Hawks sit as the #10 seed which is also the final play-in tournament spot. It will be all hands on deck down the stretch and its starts with their superstars Trae Young. While he can be inconsistent at times in terms of his fantasy performances and that helps keep his price in check compared to other stars and that is great news for tonight as he faces a Pistons team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency. We never have to worry about volume with Trae either as he is averaging just over 20 shots a game since the start of February and he has also been very consistent for fantasy averaging 49.4 DK/45.0 FD points per game in that time. All things considered, Trae is my favorite guard play and one of my favorite overall plays on this slate. Cade Cunningham FD - $7300 DK - $7500 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 36.09 DK - 39.57 On the other side of this game, we have a team in the Pistons who are all but eliminated from the playoffs but still on the radar as we have a live Rookie of the Year race. Cunningham faded away for a bit but is making a push again as he comes into tonight having averaged 20.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game over his last seven and like Trae, is not afraid to shoot averaging 18.7 shots per game in that time. The price is fair on both sites and considering the elite volume and matchup vs. the Hawks who rank 27th in defensive efficiency I will have exposure to Cade in all formats. Brandon Williams FD - $3500 DK - $3800 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 22.5 DK - 25.93 The Trailblazers are huge underdogs(+15) in this game but come in very short-handed, especially at the guard position. Justice Winslow will miss his fourth straight game while Simons got hurt late last game and is also ruled out for tonight. Williams...
