FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/27/22 There are only two weeks left in the regular season! It's been an amazing year, and this is actually one of my favorite times to play. There's so much resting and strange things going on in these rotations, that paying attention is a significant advantage. That might sound like a simple recipe but understanding how these rotations will play out at this time of the year puts you way ahead of the field. We feel like we have a better read on that than most, so let's get started with two of the best PGs in our sport! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $10800 DK - $10500 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 48.24 DK - 49.08 Kyrie has been in the news for all the wrong reasons at times this season, but we need to discuss how absurd this guy is on the basketball court. That's why he has all this notoriety, and it's honestly a spectacle to watch this dude work. Over his last nine games played, Irving is averaging 35.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. That equates to 57 DraftKings points per game, one of the highest totals in the NBA. That's scary since he will be extra motivated here, playing his first home game with the silly mandate being lifted. Not to mention, he faces a Charlotte team that ranks third in pace and 28th in total defense. Chris Paul FD - $6600 DK - $7200 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 35.79 DK - 35.54 It's strange to see CP3 this cheap. We're talking about one of the greatest point guards of all time amid one of the best seasons of his career. The price drop is clearly due to his return from injury but playing 30 minutes in his return to action tells us that he's essentially ready for a full workload. He finished with 46 DK points in that return, which is impressive since he had at least 36 fantasy points in 15 of 16 games before suffering that injury. We don't necessarily like the matchup against a stingy Philly defense, but the point guard...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Tyus Jones FD - $5300 DK - $5100Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 33.91 DK - 36.14 It’s pretty crazy how good the Grizzlies have been this season and also just how good they’ve been without Ja Morant in the lineup. A big reason is Tyus Jones being as steady as they come when it comes to running the offense. The dude rarely turns the ball over and if this one is close should push somewhere in the mid-30s for minutes. He lost minutes in the blowout last game, but has double-digit assists upside if things stay close here against Milwaukee. The price hasn’t moved enough for the opportunity Jones has with Ja out of the lineup and is a good mid-tier play on this slate. Davion Mitchell FD - $5900 DK - $6000Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 31.09 DK - 33.53 The Kings have been crushed by injuries and are going to be without De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis once again on Saturday. It’s good that they get a matchup against another bottom-feeding team and we should see a ton of minutes for Davion Mitchell once again. Over the last four games, Mitchell has averaged 21 points and six assists, taking a team-high 16 shots per game in that stretch. And he’s been even better over the last two. I love the prices on both sites and think he is a safe play in this matchup considering how short on guards the Kings are right now. Dillon Brooks FD - $6100 DK - $5800Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 34.6 DK - 36.6 Desmond Bane FD - $7800 DK - $7800Opponent - MILProj Pts FD - 38.19 DK - 41.32 With Ja Morant out of the lineup, much more of the offensive load falls on the shoulders of these two who should see plenty of opportunity on Saturday against the Bucks. For starters, with Morant off the court this season Brooks has the second-highest usage on the team at 30%. He is in line for a lot of shots and the minutes have been ticking up since coming back from injury a couple of weeks ago....

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 3/24

Guards Darius Garland FD - $9500 DK - $9700 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 41.17 DK - 46.14 It may seem odd starting this article with the lowest total on the slate and against a Top 10 defense but we just can't ignore what Garland is doing on the court. He has taken a huge step forward in his third season in the league with improvements across the board statistically as he is leading the Cavs to the Playoffs(currently #6 seed). The price is on the way up but I am not concerned as he has been very consistent in March tallying 42 or more DK points in nine of 11 games while averaging 48.3 per game. The Raptors have also been giving up points in bunches to guards in the short term so all things considered, I will have exposure to Garland in all formats. C.J. McCollum FD - $8000 DK - $9100 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 43.71 DK - 47.4 Volume is the name of the game when paying up at guard and like Garland, McCollum absolutely loves to shoot. Since joining the Pelicans at the trade deadline, McCollum has averaged 18.9 shots, 25.9 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds per game which, for fantasy, equates to an average of 45 DK/43.3 FD points per game. He and the Pels now get a plus matchup against a Bulls team that ranks in the bottom third(20th) in defensive efficiency and run the league's 12th fastest pace. Lock and load in all formats. Tyus Jones FD - $5100 DK - $4300 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 34.23 DK - 36.28 Monte Morris FD - $4500 DK - $4600 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 23.35 DK - 25.71 I am going to group these two value guards together tonight as there is news surrounding both but I am optimistic they will both keep their roles, at least for tonight's games. Let's start with the Grizzlies who are playing the second leg of a back-to-back tonight after taking down the Nets at home last night without Ja Morant who missed his second straight game. Tyus Jones...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 3/23/22

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/23/22 It's been a grind of a season, but the finish line is in sight. There are only three weeks left in the season, and many of these teams are jockeying for positioning. We're surely going to see the standings change here, with 11 games making up this massive Wednesday card. That leaves us with a monster player pool and plenty to discuss! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Davion Mitchell FD - $4600 DK - $5200 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 28.83 DK - 30.08 Let's kick things off with a couple of cheap point guards. Mitchell might be the best value out there, filling in for this shorthanded Sacramento team. De'Aaron Fox, Terance Davis, and Domantas Sabonis are all expected to miss this game, leaving Mitchell as the focal point of the offense. He was treated with that role on Sunday, dropping 47 fantasy points across 46 minutes in a matchup with the best defense in the NBA. This matchup is far from scary, with the Pacers ranked 24th in points allowed and 26th in defensive efficiency. As long as he gets this massive role against this putrid Pacers defense, DM should be $2,000 more on each site. Tyus Jones FD - $4300 DK - $4600 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 33.23 DK - 33.31 Jones is actually in a similar spot as Mitchell. He's being asked to step in as the starting point guard in Memphis, filling in for the injured Ja Morant. Tyus has been terrific in that role all season, averaging 29 DK points per game in his 16 starts this season. More importantly, he's handling the ball on nearly every possession, running this elite Memphis offense at ease. That makes it hard to believe that he remains so well below $5K, especially in such a tasty matchup. Tyus gets to face the Nets, with Brooklyn ranked 22nd in defensive efficiency ratings this season. Getting these two cheap guards in your lineup is a great way to start lineup construction, opening up the door for numerous studs that we'll mention later on. Brandon Williams has been excellent as Portland's starting point guard and could be asked to do more with...

Point Guard / Shooting Guard Jordan Poole FD - $7400 DK - $7400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 34.89 DK - 38.44 Klay Thompson FD - $7000 DK - $8100Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 39.98 DK - 43.34 With Stephen Curry out for the foreseeable future, the offense is now in the hands of these two guys and they are going to need to carry much of the load moving forward on that end of the court. It didn’t all work out the first game with the Warriors falling to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. But Poole’s usage was great, taking 21 shots in his 36 minutes. He finished with 28 points while also adding five rebounds and three assists. An overwhelming amount of his fantasy production is wrapped up into scoring, so we are going to need him chucking from the rafters. But that should be the case in this game against the Magic. And then there is Klay who actually led the team in shots on Sunday, putting up 23 total and finishing with 24 points, thanks in large part to the 6-12 from beyond the arc. He, like Poole, also needs to score because there wasn’t a ton happening with the peripheral stats. But really it’s tough to pass up the FanDuel price, especially which really hasn’t corrected for enough for the loss of Curry. He is likely to be a very popular play over there at shooting guard. Jrue Holiday FD - $8100 DK - $7800Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 40.03 DK - 42.92 Khris Middleton is going to miss this game which should open up some opportunity in the Bucks’ offense even though Giannis still dominates much of what goes on over there. But we do know that when Middleton is off the court this season, Holiday has the second-highest usage rate at 29%, an 8% increase over what he’s typically done during the season. I think we have a solid opportunity to stack the two main offensive threats from the Bucks here with Jrue coming at something of a value assuming the opportunity increases here. Milwaukee is still playing for seeding here, in a...

Guards Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $6500 DK - $6400 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 34.38 DK - 38.92 This is a game that is most definitely going to get multiple mentions in this article with its monster total(234.5) featuring two teams that rank 25th and 30th in defensive efficiency overall this season. At the guard position, the system loves KPJ here and it starts with the volume as he is averaging just over 14 shots a game in the month of March. He also provides a nice balance of secondary stats averaging 4.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.6 blocks+steals in that time which is good for an average of 33.8 DK/32.2 FD points per game. All things considered, KPJ is a top guard and overall core play for me on this slate. C.J. McCollum FD - $8400 DK - $9200 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 42.99 DK - 46.58 Another game that jumps off the page from a fantasy standpoint is the Pels and Hornets with the second-highest total(233.5) on the slate. I lean the Pelicans side facing as the Hornets not only rank 18th in defensive efficiency since the All-Star break(23rd overall), they run the 3rd-fastest pace. They could also be without Brandon Ingram(C-19) and Devonte Graham(hip) but either way McCollum is at the top of my list. He has been tremendous since coming over in a trade averaging over 20 shots a game and delivered by averaging 45.7 DK/43.9 FD points per game. The price is rising but in this spot he is still a part of my core in all formats. Terry Rozier FD - $7700 DK - $8200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 36.54 DK - 39.29 LaMelo Ball FD - $8700 DK - $8800 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 43.71 DK - 47.52 While it is never that tough on these big slates to go stars and scrubs, I certainly like a more balanced attack with how things are lining up and it comes down to a couple of games projected to be high-scoring, fast-paced, and full of fantasy gold. I mentioned this game above and while I slightly...
