There should easily be enough value to load up on Luka in all formats. Max Strus FD - $4600 DK - $5100 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 22.51 DK - 25.87 The mystery in Miami right now is the number of Heat players that continue to be listed on the injury report despite being healthy. Max Strus is one of them and of all the guards who have stepped in with Lowry out, he has seen the most time on the floor playing at least 27 minutes in all five games. Hitting value has been hard to come by but the good news is that he is coming off his best game in the playoffs and is better than his 39.5% shooting % this series(career 45% shooter). Small Forward Jimmy Butler FD - $10500 DK - $9800 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 49.02 DK - 51.15 The price has finally started to go up on Butler who is having a very solid playoff run for the Heat averaging 27 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists over nine games. That has translated to a very high floor for fantasy as he has topped 45 DK points in seven of those nine games and also flashed big upside topping 60 three times. Butler will look to lead the Heat to a series victory on the road tonight and he is easily one of our top plays in all formats. Brunson has averaged 23 points, four assists, and four rebounds in that stretch and it’s been critical for keeping the Suns on their toes. I suspect the usage sticks in this range going forward. And of course, there’s Luka who we already know is among the best ever to do it on the fantasy end. He’s averaging a sick 33 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for this series and has been every bit the superstar. There aren’t many more cases to be made for this guy that hasn’t already happened. It’s pretty easy to play this guy and just sacrifice salary on the other end of the spectrum. It’s the nature of these playoff slates. Max Strus FD - $4100 DK - $5000Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 24.49 DK - 26.83M Look, with these playoff slates we need to just try to roster minutes on the cheaper side and not worry all that much about the results. The latter part is because the whole point is getting the superstars. That’s the whole point. Strus and his 30+ minutes for the Heat are the reason for that and we are basically just needing him to knock down the three-point looks that he’s going to get in this offense. The FanDuel price is a pretty easy play at this point all things considered. Despite the rising price, there is still a ton of upside here as he has shot just 37% in those games while averaging 50% over 67 regular-season games. He is my top guard on this slate and in play in all formats. Jordan Poole FD - $7200 DK - $7100 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 35.39 DK - 39.09 Poole was relied on heavily in 2022 with injuries to both Klay Thompson and Steph Curry and took a huge step forward in his third season in the league. It has also been fascinating to see how he has adapted in the playoff run as well as he started each game against Denver in round one but has been dramatically better since returning to a bench/6th man role against the Grizzlies. He is averaging over 34 minutes, has taken 16+ shots and tallied 20+ points in all three games, and from a fantasy perspective, is averaging 41.6 DK/39 FD points per game. He provides a high floor and also adds some upside putting him in play in all formats on both sites. Tyus Jones FD - $3700 DK - $3400 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 29.67 DK - 31.82 Superstar Ja Morant is doubtful for game four on Monday with a knee injury and that should give Tyus Jones his first start of the playoffs. He made 23 starts during the regular season in games in which Morant missed and was very productive for fantasy playing just over 30 minutes a game and averaging 29 fantasy points per game. Given his sub $4K price tag on both sites, he is likely one of the chalkiest plays...

Phoenix hunted him mercilessly on the defensive end and that will likely continue as well. As it stands it’s just tough to fade him on these two game slates. James Harden FD - $8700 DK - $9000Opponent - MIAProj Pts FD - 49.39 DK - 52.68 It’s brutal, but we might just need to die on this hill as long as Joel Embiid is out. Harden tallied 41 minutes in Game 2, though struggled from behind the arc (1-5) while shooting 6-15 from the field overall. The price is stuck here which would sure seem like a bargain but Miami is doing everything they can to make it hard on him through the first couple of games. I want to believe the track record is enough for things to turn around, but it’s getting harder and harder to trust. We need to keep an eye on the Heat guard situation for Friday. Currently Kyle Lowry (FD $6000 DK $6100), Tyler Herro (FD $6400 DK $6900), Max Strus (FD $4200 DK $5300) and to a lesser extent Caleb Martin (FD $3600 DK $3500) are all questionable. How this injury situation shakes out could have a major impact on the two-game slate. And the Mavericks are going to need everything from Doncic and more to get through this series. The Suns are just such a tough out at this point. He should continue playing minutes in the mid-40s as long as the games stay close and that’s enough for him to make good on these salaries. He’s just that good. Tyler Herro FD - $6000 DK - $6800Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 30.88 DK - 35 Herro took the most shots on the team for Miami in Game 1 with 17 even though he only played 29 minutes in the affair. I’m a little concerned that 30 minutes might be around the max for Herro considering he actually closed this one out despite the score being a little out of hand by the end. Because he comes off the bench, in this way the run is a bit capped in a way we don’t see from starters. But his usage rate goes up with Lowry out of the mix and he’s asked to play on ball more as well. He ended up with 25 points and seven assists in that game and isn’t going all that expensive. He’s especially a bargain on FanDuel. Gabe Vincent FD - $4600 DK - $4700Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 24.04 DK - 26.9 Vincent should continue starting for the injured Kyle Lowry and he’s still coming cheap enough on both sites to warrant a play. In fact, his salary is what makes it a bit easier to pay up for guys like Luka and some others that we will get to shortly. Vincent took 12 shots in Game 1, the third-most on the team and finished with 10 points and three rebounds and assists each. It’s not an overwhelming line...

He played 27 and 30 minutes in games 5 & 6 against the Hawks taking 17 shots and dropping 24 fantasy points in each. At his price on both sites, I will take that if it means being able to free up some salary. I will have a ton of exposure in all formats. Chris Paul FD - $10100 DK - $9100 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 43.85 DK - 46.72 The system is overwhelmingly leaning on stars and scrubs tonight and paying up for Doncic and Harden but also like having some exposure to Chris Paul. Outside of game four with Devin Booker returning, he has been elite for fantasy averaging 54 DK points in the other five games. The usage is most definitely down with Booker back but he more than makes up for it with his elite distribution skills. If there is a chance he will be the 3rd of 4th highest owned guard tonight, I love going overweight in this spot and having more than the field.
