Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Ja Morant FD - $1000 DK - $10000Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 50.94 DK - 55.45 We are going to get to all of the Bucks guys shortly, but things start off with Ja Morant who comes in leading the Grizzlies, the team with the highest implied total of the slate. They are facing off against the Timberwolves who are playing the second-fast pace in the league this season with a defense that’s outside the top 10. Ja is scoring 29 points a game thanks to some run hot from outside the arc (45%) and the rest of his stats are in line with previous seasons. He’s a superstar and there aren’t a ton of upper price tier payoffs on this slate. I think he’s the guy and this game should be up and down the court. Jevon Carter FD - $5100 DK - $5300Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 28.62 DK - 29.38 The Bucks are going to, once again, be without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday (along with Khris Middleton who’s yet to play this season). That’s going to again open up significant bumps for almost every remaining player who stands to see real minutes. Last game Jevon Carter was one of those guys. He played 45 minutes in the double-overtime win over the Thunder and finished with a slate-breaking 36 points and 12 assists. The price has climbed, but not enough especially on FanDuel and he’s likely to be one of the most popular plays on the slate. Devin Booker FD - $9000 DK - $9400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 47.74 DK - 51.24 Cameron Payne FD - $5200 DK - $5700Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 30.6 DK - 33.27 I’d be much more inclined to play Booker if Chris Paul is out again, and that’s 100% the case for Cameron Payne on this slate. CP3 sat out last game and is dealing with heel soreness. If he were to sit out again we know that all of the backcourt production will go to these two. Last game, Booker played 38 minutes, took 23 shots...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 11/9

Posted by on Nov 8, 2022 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups, Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 11/9/22 This is the weirdest week of NBA DFS that I've ever seen. We had every team in action on Monday, and no one playing yesterday. The NBA took the day off so people could vote, but it's leaving us with another full card here. That means the player pool is massive once again, and we have hundreds of players to pick from. There have been a ton of injuries over recent weeks, though, and that'll surely be a major theme in this article. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11800 DK - $12500 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 63.9 DK - 66.84 I'm not so sure it's possible to fade Doncic right now. This is the best player in fantasy, scoring at least 56 DraftKings points in every game this season. To put that in perspective, only one other player has an average higher than Luka's floor! It's no surprise when you see Doncic's league-leading usage, falling just shy of a 40 percent usage rate. That led to his absurd 66-point average, making Doncic the safest play on every slate. We're certainly not worried about a matchup with the Magic, owing a 24th OPRK against opposing point guards. They have nobody to cover Luka, and we fully anticipate him flirting with another 30-point triple-double. Fred VanVleet FD - $8500 DK - $8100 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 41.27 DK - 41.27 VanVleet is my favorite play of the day. The reason we love him is this expanded role. Toronto just lost Pascal Siakam to a groin injury, and it should force FVV into a monster role. He had a usage rate just shy of 35 percent with Sia off the floor last season, averaging 1.4 DK points per minute in those circumstances. He's shown that this year, posting a 52-point average in the two games since Sia went down. The simple fact is, FVV is going to play 40 minutes, take 15-20 shots and handle the ball on every possession. That makes him especially enticing against Houston, surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing PGs this season. Russell Westbrook (FD $7500 DK $7300) has at least 35 DK...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday 11/6

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 11/6/22 If you played DFS over the weekend, you probably had a headache at some point. That Friday card was one of the craziest things I've ever seen, with dozens of big-name players getting ruled out. It feels like that's the way the NBA is headed, and following the news will put you way ahead of the field. The good news is that we have no team playing a B2B, which should limit some absences. We also have just three games making up this tiny Sunday card, but there's still plenty to discuss! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $10100 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 49.34 DK - 51.24 Ja just had his worst game of the season, but we need to look at the game script. Memphis was up by 40 points in the second half in that win over Charlotte, limiting Morant to a season-low in minutes. He still provided his elite per-minute averages, dropping 33 DK points across 24 minutes. That brings him to an average of 47 DraftKings points across 31 minutes a game. That's the highest total among all the healthy players, making Morant impossible to fade on a three-game slate. He's simply doing everything for this Grizzlies offense with Jaren Jackson Jr out, and we certainly don't expect him to struggle against a 25th-ranked Washington defense from last year. Reggie Jackson FD - $4700 DK - $5300 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 22.87 DK - 23.91 I might be an idiot for riding Reggie, but he will eventually have some ceiling games at a diminished price tag. R-Jax was well above $6K in a similar role last season, and this offense needs him to do more in the absence of Kawhi Leonard. The usage is still there for him to be a stud, with Jackson averaging 13 shots and 32.3 minutes over the last six outings. That's the same role we saw when he was $1,000 more last year, and it's just a matter of time before the shots start falling. He averaged 29 DraftKings points across 31 minutes a night last year, and a total like that would be impressive from such...

Kevin Durant, Tyrese Maxey, and Tyler Herro Highlight the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Friday, November 4, 2022

Kevin Durant, Tyrese Maxey, and Tyler Herro Highlight the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Friday, November 4, 2022 Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Maxey FD - $8200 DK - $6500Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 39.9 DK - 43.22 De'Anthony Melton FD - $6000 DK - $4400Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 37.34 DK - 38.23 James Harden is set to miss at least the next month and that’s going to obviously open up a ton of different stuff for the 76ers when it comes to the fantasy department. With Joel Embiid also unlikely to see full run here as he comes back from injury too, we could see massive minutes for both Tyrese Maxey and De’Anthony Melton and huge usage for Maxey in particular. Maxey played 43 minutes last time out against the Wizards and took 20 shots. That was with Harden around. With the latter off the court the shots should be in the mid-20s against the Knicks and his price is a total joke on DraftKings in particular. Meanwhile, Melton’s fantasy performance has been a bit more variable, but the minutes should be there. Plus, he’s shown the ability to contribute across the stat line throughout his career and that’s carried over to the 76ers. His FanDuel price has come up to the point that it’s at least a question, but I do think he sees enough minutes to make it worth it. The DraftKings price, like we said with Maxey, is a total joke. Kyle Lowry FD - $6500 DK - $6300Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 34.21 DK - 37.06 The Heat are going to be without Jimmy Butler again for this game and will get one of the best DFS matchups around against the Pacers. Indianapolis runs the fourth-fastest pace and has the worst defensive efficiency in the league. It doesn’t get much better than that. Lowry is playing major minutes for Miami, having 37 or more in each of the last three games. Without Butler last game, he took his season-high shots with 24 and finished with 22 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. The price hasn’t come up enough on either site and he’s an easy value on this slate. Strongly consider Max Strus...

DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 11/2

Posted by on Nov 2, 2022 in Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups, Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, DraftKings NBA Picks, FanDuel NBA Picks, featured |

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 11/2/22 This scheduling by the NBA has been maddening. We had just four games yesterday and two games tomorrow. That means we're looking at one of the largest slates of the season here, with all but a handful of teams taking the floor. That means we have a massive player pool to choose from, which can complicate things from a DFS perspective. It does lead to a ton of value, though, and we have some great plays to ride for this Wednesday card! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Jrue Holiday FD - $8300 DK - $8200Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 43.23 DK - 45.36 Everyone assumes that Giannis Antetokounmpo takes over when Khris Middleton (wrist) is out, but Holiday does some serious damage too. The elite two-way player sees his usage, minutes, and shot attempts increase without Middleton, combining for 119 DraftKings points over the last two games. He actually averaged over 40 fantasy points per game when Khris was out last year, and we love that he's playing 37 minutes a night in that span too. One of those masterpieces came against this disastrous Detroit defense, with Jrue dropping 53 fantasy points on Monday. That's no surprise since the Pistons have the worst defensive rating in the NBA. Anfernee Simons FD - $7800 DK - $7600Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 38.87 DK - 43.24 Simons was the beneficiary of the C.J. McCollum trade, and he looks like an All-Str whenever Damian Lillard is out of the lineup. That's forced Simons into the starting point guard job, posting a 33 percent usage rate when Dame is off the floor. This expanded role led to one of the best games of his career last weekend, amassing 53 DraftKings points on Friday. It's no surprise since he's expected to play 35-40 minutes and take 15-20 shots, which is massive for a sharpshooter like this. Memphis is a marvelous matchup, too, with the Griz ranked 29th in points allowed this season. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $9000 DK - $9800Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 45.33 DK - 48.4 It's been a struggle for the Clippers this season, and PG13 certainly hasn't helped. He knew that...

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker, and Magic Bigs Top the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Tuesday, November 1st

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker, and Magic Bigs Top the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Tuesday, November 1st Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $7400 DK - $7700Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 37 DK - 39.28 The Suns aren’t having to push Paul’s minutes all that much this season because they are beating teams, once again, with relative ease. And along with that, CP3 isn’t taking all that many shots either, averaging just 8.7 field goal attempts through his first six games. I do think we see that increase, but he’s definitely deferring to Devin Booker and the rest of the crew in that respect. But he’s not all that expensive and should play enough minutes to hit value against the Timberwolves. Kyle Lowry FD - $6500 DK - $6100Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 30.93 DK - 33.81 Lowry is another one averaging few than double-digit shot attempts per game, but the price is relative to his performance right now and I think we are getting value with him against the Warriors. He put up 37 FanDuel points in 33 minutes the last time the Heat played Golden State, a 123-110 loss for Miami. Even on limited attempts, Lowry is still scoring 12.4 points per game and contributing, albeit not all that robustly, across the rest of the box score. You aren’t paying through the nose for him here so I think he warrants cash game consideration. Shooting Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10800 DK - $9400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 51.3 DK - 53.26 It’s tough to trust anyone on the Oklahoma City Thunder except for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The young star is about the only guy they will run for major minutes and he does just about everything for this team. He’s averaging one of the best lines around with 31 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and 3.6 blocks+steals. That’s pretty sick and the only thing that could really slow him down at this point would be the Thunder just getting all the way into the tank and limiting his run. That is a distinct possibility, but for the time being we need to trust that they are going to play him max minutes. Devin Booker FD - $8900...
