DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday 11/20
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 11/20/22 Most Sunday slates tend to be slow, but we have a big one here. We have eight games in total and many superstars taking the floor. We also have a few that are missing out, and we're going to capitalize on some of those absences here. The injury reports in Miami, Memphis, and Denver are ridiculous right now, but we'll use those fill-ins to fill our lineups. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $8000 DK - $7500 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 41.08 DK - 42.45 We usually wouldn't use Lowry in this price range, but you simply can't fade him right now. Miami's training room is full of stud players, with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro all expected to miss this game. That's pretty much all of the team's offense and usage out of the lineup, forcing Lowry into a primary playmaking role. In that expanded role on Friday, Kyle collected 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists en route to 64 DraftKings points. That's one of the best games of his career, but it's no surprise since he's expected to see 40 minutes, 20 shots, and a 30 percent usage rate. Tyus Jones FD - $5900 DK - $5200 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 32.1 DK - 32.7 The injury bug bit the NBA hard on Friday night, with Tyrese Haliburton, Ja Morant, and Tyrese Maxey all suffering ankle injuries. The Morant absence is the one that matters for Jones, forcing him into the starting point guard job. He's not the only one missing, though, with Jaren Jackson Jr and Desmond Bane sitting as well. That should put Jones in line for a monster game, averaging 38 DK points per game in his two starts this year. That's the guy we saw throughout most of last season, posting a 30-point average in his 23 starts. That's an amazing total from a sub-$6K player, and we truly believe that 30-point average will be his floor in this spot. De'Aaron Fox (FD $9600 DK $9600) has at least 36 DK points in every game he's finished and should destroy a 29th-ranked Detroit defense. Shooting Guard Max...

Guards Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8900 DK - $9000 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 43.89 DK - 44.71 Haliburton checks all the boxes for me tonight which has him right there with Damian Lillard as top guard in our projections. I lean slightly towards Haliburton as he comes cheaper, and especially on DraftKings where his best value lies as he has tallied the double-double bonus in eight of 13 games. He is also averaging a double-double on the season with 20.6 points and 10.4 assists which has helped him to also tally 40 or more DK points in 12 of 13 games and 45 or more in eight of those. Both teams are on a back-to-back and rank outside the Top 20 in defensive efficiency so I am expecting a high-scoring game where Haliburton can easily hit his floor projection and tap into the upside as well. Jalen Suggs FD - $6200 DK - $5900 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 29.16 DK - 29.85 Since entering the starting lineup back in early November Suggs has been consistent when looking at his averages(13.7 reb/4.0 reb/6.3 ast) but the standard deviation is much higher than say, Haliburton. He can give you 20 points or 50 on any given night and I kind of like taking those shots with a player in the mid-range. This is also a pace-up matchup for the Magic as the Pacers run the league's second-fastest pace and rank 23rd in fantasy points to guards. I will personally have exposure to Suggs in all formats tonight. Shake Milton FD - $3600 DK - $3100 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 18.09 DK - 19.66 This is a situation we will have to monitor leading up to lock but the 76ers are already short at guard with James Harden out and unfortunately also lost Tyrese Maxey to a foot injury last night. With him getting an MRI today, he is unlikely to play and that will open up some minutes and opportunities. Shake took over last night playing 31 minutes and putting up 15 points, six assists, and three rebounds for 28 fantasy points. That return is fully in play here should he get the start tonight which would easily make him one of our top PTS.$ value plays on the slate. Small Forward Keldon Johnson...

Guards Jaden Ivey FD - $6800 DK - $6900 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 32.1 DK - 34.54 Let's start off this small slate with a mid-range value in Jaden Ivey, who has consistently outperformed his price over the short term. Some of it has to do with the near 8% uptick in usage with Cade Cunningham out of the lineup the last three games but he was playing terrific even with him in the lineup. Over the previous five games(2 with Cunningham, 3 without), Ivey has averaged just over 18 points with 6.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and tallied 35 or more fantasy points in four of those games while averaging 38 across all five. The matchup isn't ideal but considering he checks the price and opportunity boxes, I am on board in all formats. John Wall FD - $6000 DK - $5700 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 31.62 DK - 33.45 On the other side of this game, we have more opportunity plays as Kawhi remains out, Luke Kennard is doubtful, and Paul Geroge is now highly questionable after picking up an injury last game. This has many projecting John Wall to get his first start of the season which would be welcomed with the lack of overall value on this small slate. The only downside here is that the price has been on the rise for over a week as Wall has been playing terrific off the bench with double-digit shots in five straight while averaging 13.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game equating to just under 30 fantasy points per game. At these prices, I love that as a floor and if he starts I would say the ceiling allows us to also play him in GPP formats, as well. De'Aaron Fox FD - $9600 DK - $9000 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 47.46 DK - 50.37 Being able to pay up for multiple top plays tonight is going to be largely dependent on the amount of value that pops up but Fox is at the top of that list. The Kings get arguably the best matchup on the board at home as seven-point favorites against a Spurs team that runs a Top 5 pace, ranks 29th in defensive efficiency, and 28th in fantasy points to guards. For Fox, he...

Guards Stephen Curry FD - $10600 DK - $10200 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 50.9 DK - 56.21 Starting right at the top tonight and, to be honest, this feels like a bit of a buy-low. I say this as he has provided a more consistent floor and arguably higher PTS/$ upside than some of his peers who are routinely $11K on both sites. He gets elite usage(32%) and is averaging 33.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 6.8 rebounds which has provided us with at least 45 DK points in every game and he is also playing some of his best ball of the season averaging 59 fantasy points over his last seven games. The Spurs are slightly below average when looking at overall defensive efficiency but rank 27th in fantasy points allowed to guards so I will have a ton of exposure to Curry in all formats. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10000 DK - $8900 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 48.11 DK - 49.72 Speaking of value, especially on DraftKings, we have SGA who is coming off a monster 60+ point performance but has seen price dip back below $9K and near a season-low. I really don't understand it for a guy who is averaging 31.1 points, 5.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and a massive3.6 blocks+steals per game. He has also provided us with 42 or more DK points in 10 of 12 games and 50 or more in seven of those. This game has the highest total on the slate and while the Thunder are big dogs here, they face a Celtics team that has struggled defensively ranking 24th in that metric this season. All things considered, SGA is my favorite PTS/$ pay-up on this slate. Jevon Carter FD - $5400 DK - $6000 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 36.53 DK - 38.39 Carter has started all season but it wasn't until recently he became fantasy relevant as both Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the last two games. Carter stepped up with a whopping 42 shots in those games, shooting 52% and also adding 18 assists and six rebounds. The usage will go down some tonight as Giannis is expected back but with Jrue confirmed out, Carter should get another start at the point and still sits with a nice mid-tier price tag and...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday 11/13
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 11/13/22 We're already off to a wild start for this slate. The Grizzlies decided they would rest most of their starters on Saturday, and that's not only chaos that will ensue. The Nets, Sixers, and Wizards are all playing the second half of a back-to-back set, while the Warriors and Thunder are playing a frontend. You'd think we have a ton of games with that being the case, but we only have six games making up the main slate. I'm actually a huge fan of our picks, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Tyrese Maxey FD - $7200 DK - $7900 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 38.86 DK - 40.1 The Sixers have been trying to cope without James Harden, but it's leaving Maxey with a ton of responsibility. The 22-year-old guard has seen his usage spike with Harden out, playing 38 minutes a night this year while taking on primary ball-handling duties. That's led to the best stretch of his career, scoring at least 28 DraftKings points in eight straight games. He's also maintaining a 38-point average in that span, taking over 20 shots a night! That's scary since his role could expand even more here, with De'Anthoy Melton sidelined and Joel Embiid possibly sitting in the second half of a B2B set. If both of those guys are out, Maxey needs to be used in every lineup. Not to mention, Utah owns a 25th OPRK against opposing point guards. Tyus Jones FD - $4500 DK - $3600 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 32.95 DK - 33.68 Jones will be used in everyone's lineup, but that's chalk you need to swallow. Memphis already ruled out Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr for this game, leaving Jones as the primary playmaker. In his one start for Ja earlier this season, Jones dropped a season-high 46 DraftKings points. That's far from surprising when you see that Tyus averaged 31 DraftKings points per game in 23 outings as a starter last year. Those are numbers you usually see from a $6K player, making Jones the best per-dollar play of the day in this $4K price...

Guards Brandon Ingram FD - $8000 DK - $8700 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 41.75 DK - 42.7 Ingram let us down on Thursday getting into foul trouble but I am going back to the well here as I am looking at a balanced attack for tonight's slate. Not a bad place to start either as the Pelicans get one of the best matchups on the board facing the Rockets who run a Top 10 pace along with the 2nd worst defensive rating. Taking out last game and the game he got injured in and Ingram has been very consistent averaging 24.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists for 43.6 DraftKings points per game. He is a top target for me in all formats. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $8800 DK - $8900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 40.3 DK - 41.46 Speaking of consistency, Haliburton has made the most of his trade to Indiana last season and has easily been their best player. He may not get the usage of other stars in the league but his best value for us in fantasy is the balance he provides across multiple categories as he comes in averaging 21.6 points, 9.9 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game providing us with 40 or more fantasy points in 10 of 11 games and 50 or more in six of those. This game has the second-highest total on the slate and the Pacers face a Raptors team that is short it's best player and have struggled defensively in the short term. Fire up Haliburton in all formats. Jaden Ivey FD - $7000 DK - $5700 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 33.35 DK - 35.87 Killian Hayes FD - $4000 DK - $3600 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 11.98 DK - 12.41 This is a situation we will have to monitor throughout the day as Cade Cunningham missed last night and is in danger of missing a second straight game with shin soreness. After back-to-back double-doubles earlier in the week, Jaden Ivey let us down last night against the Knicks but the price is still in a good spot on DraftKings to go back to the well for a player who has provided us with a 5x or greater return in eight of his 12 starts this season and...
