DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 12/11
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/11/22 It's been a strange week of basketball. If you played that Saturday slate, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Teams like Brooklyn and Utah rested almost every player in the rotation, and both of those clubs played competitive outings. There's always a ton of value in circumstances like that, but it's impossible to know that until hours before tip. That's why it's up to you guys to zone in on injury reports because things change quickly in this racket. That's why these articles are a baseline for you and why they should be a building block in your extensive research that needs to be done before submitting lineups! Head on for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $10400 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 55.51 DK - 59.71 Young has had a "down" year by his standards, but he's still averaging 28 points and 10 assists per game. That's why he's a perennial All-Star and why he's one of the best options with Dejounte Murray sidelined. That's forcing Young into a monster role, posting a 42 percent usage rate with Murray off the floor. That would be the highest rate in the NBA, which is scary since he's averaging 1.6 DK points per minute in those circumstances. That would equate to 65 DraftKings points if he plays 40 minutes, which is incredible since Trae tallied 65 fantasy points in his most recent matchup with the Bulls. Davion Mitchell FD - $4000 DK - $3800 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 25.26 DK - 25.66 If De'Aaron Fox misses this game, Mitchell is the best value play on the board. It's rare to find a starting point guard at $4,000, especially one who's always been productive when given the opportunity. Davion has started in 21 games at point guard since the start of last season, averaging 33 fantasy points per game across 37 minutes a night. You usually see production like that from a $7K player, and it's hard to understand why Mitchell remains so cheap. Facing the Knicks is the best part of this, though, with New York owning a 27th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. If Fox is out,...

Guards Damian Lillard FD - $9700 DK - $10100 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 43.36 DK - 48.23 Lillard is my top guard play in the top tier tonight with Doncic nearly $13K on DraftKings with both Curry and SGA facing Top 5 defences. For Lillard, he has put his short-term shooting woes in the rearview coming off a monster game where he made 12 of 22 shots including a whopping nine from beyond the arc. He now faces a Timberwolves team that is playing on a back-to-back and has struggled lately giving up an average of 126 points per game over the last five games. I will have exposure to Lillard in all formats tonight. Kyrie Irving FD - $8600 DK - $8700 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 47.58 DK - 50.17 I never get too excited with Kyrie playing on a back-to-back but everything is aligning for him to be a top play once again on Saturday. First of all, he and Durant put on a show last night and now it appears Durant could sit out tonight for rest which would boost Irving even higher than the system already has him. Despite scoring 30+ in back-to-back games while adding 16 rebounds and 12 assists, Irving's price remains in the mid $8K range on both sites and he now gets a plus matchup against the Pacers who are 21st in defensive efficiency and 4th in pace. Fire up Kyrie in all formats. Jordan Clarkson FD - $6900 DK - $7600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 33.08 DK - 37.12 Malik Beasley FD - $5000 DK - $5600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 21.12 DK - 23.75 Nickeil Alexander-Walker FD - $4500 DK - $3100 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 21.08 DK - 21.68 The Jazz are a bit short-handed at guard with Collin Sexton out which has me grouping all three of these guys together in a spot where they could even be stacked together. The Jazz are on a back-to-back but this is one of three games with a monster total North of 230. They also get the best matchup of the group against the Nuggets who have lost three of four while giving up an average of 118.5 points per game and rank 27th in defensive efficiency...

Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Trae Young FD - $9700 DK - $10300Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 50.56 DK - 55.43 The Hawks are going to be without Dejounte Murray for a couple of weeks now and that could lead to Trae Young with an even higher usage than he’s already putting up. On the season, Trae is rocking a 34% usage rate, but that number shoots all the way up to 44.5% with Murray off the court. He could be bombing early and often in this game against a Brooklyn Nets team that doesn’t have much in the way of point-of-attack defense and will just be working Ben Simmons back into the mix. Young’s price hasn’t been adjusted enough on FanDuel in particular. Anthony Edwards FD - $8800 DK - $9000Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 44.99 DK - 48.3 The Timberwolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns and that’s led to some big time Anthony Edwards upside in the short-term. Over his last six games (not all with KAT out), Edwards is averaging 27 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals. That’s elite production and the price hasn’t fully caught up on either site. Now, the Timberwolves will be in a game against the Jazz which has the highest over/under on the slate (236.5). It could be an up-and-down affair and that’s good for Edwards when it comes to volume shooting. Monte Morris FD - $5500 DK - $5300Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 30.49 DK - 33.01 The Wizards can definitely be tough to trust when it comes to the minutes and this is a game we are going to want to target some. Bradley Beal remains out and last time around, Monte Morris played 37 minutes in a four-point loss to the Bulls. He took the third-most shots on the team behind Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma and finished with 17 points and eight assists. That kind of production at these prices is an easy cash game call. The issue is we just can’t always trust the Washington rotations making this a bit risky. I do still think D'Angelo Russell (FD 7100 DK 7100) is a value...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday 12/8
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday 12/8 Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Guards Damian Lillard FD - $9500 DK - $9700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 37.18 DK - 41.71 We have two superstars and the most expensive players on this slate going head-to-head tonight and we may be able to play them together with some expected value popping up once we get all the news. As of now, however, I am leaning toward Lillard who is sub $10K on both sites, making the building process a bit easier and more balanced to start. The shooting, especially from beyond the arc, has been atrocious in the short term but I am not concerned as he commands heavy usage in the offense(32%), averages 25.8 points and 6.9 assists per game and gets a plus matchup against a Nuggets team that is 26th in defensive efficiency. Lillard is our top projected play at the guard position and a great building block in all formats. Kevin Porter Jr. FD - $7600 DK - $7300 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 34.98 DK - 38.36 There is a ton of news to drop on this small slate and it includes Kevin Porter who has some right knee soreness but considering they haven't played since Monday, signs are pointing to him playing. That is great news as he is in a smash spot here against a Spurs team that is dead last in defensive efficiency, 7th fastest pace, and have allowed the second-most fantasy points to guards. For Porter, he has been a very consistent PTS/$ producer at these prices and that comes from providing value in multiple categories as he is averaging 19 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and a combined 1.7 blocks/steals per game on the season. Porter is my favourite PTS/$ option at the guard position tonight. Tre Jones FD - $6400 DK - $6400 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 37.03 DK - 38.92 Romeo Langford FD - $4000 DK - $3100 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 14.02 DK - 14.02 This game has the highest total(231.5) on the slate by five full points and the Rockets are not the only ones in a great spot as their own defense has struggled this season ranking 28th in defensive efficiency. It appears we are also going to get some much-needed value here with the Spurs guards as Devin Vassel...
Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Wednesday, December 7, 2022
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 12/7/22 It's been a wild week. We've had LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Damian Lillard, Pascal Siakam, and James Harden all return in the last week. Having so many superstars return simultaneously is strange, but it's exciting for NBA fans. We've had a fair share of studs go down as well, which will play a huge factor in this article. With that in mind, let's start with one of the most exciting players in the NBA. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy, and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9600 DK - $10600 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 50.93 DK - 52.52 Ja has taken his game to another level in the absence of Desmond Bane. That's increased his shot attempts, minutes, and usage, flirting with a 40 percent usage rate when Bane is sidelined. That's led to Morant scoring at least 42 DraftKings points in 12 straight games, generating a 51-point average in that span. That's the best stretch of his career, and it should continue against Oklahoma City. The Thunder rank 28th in points allowed while possessing one of the worst rosters in the NBA. Ja missed 15 of his 20 shots against OKC in their one matchup this year but still had 47 fantasy points. Imagine what he could do if he gets hot! Jordan Poole FD - $5900 DK - $6500 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 38.5 DK - 40.57 Poole is going to be in everyone's lineup, but this is chalk you have to swallow. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have both been ruled out already, forcing Poole into a start and a primary playmaking role. With those two off the floor, Poole has a 32.4 percent usage rate while averaging 1.1 DK points per minute. Poole is averaging 38 DraftKings points per game across 33 minutes a night in his six starts this season. Most of those have been without Chef Curry, and Poole will be happy to take over cooking duties in his absence. Utah is far from a problematic matchup, allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing guards this season. Fred VanVleet (FD $7600 DK $7100) is too good to be this cheap. He's been horrible over the last two...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 12/4
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/4/22 The injuries have been awful this season, but we're starting to turn things around. We've had a multitude of All-Stars return this week, and more are right around the corner. That can cause some chaos from a DFS perspective, but it's imperative to capitalize on these moves and adjust your process as quickly as possible. We feel like we've done that here, so let's start with one of the most exciting players in the NBA. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $10500 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 49.4 DK - 50.69 Morant is the most exciting player in the NBA. He's become even better with Desmond Bane (toe) sidelined, posting a 37 percent usage rate with Bane off the floor this year. That's led to Ja scoring at least 41 DraftKings points in 13 of his last 14 games, totaling a 47-point average in that span. He's also flashed a 73-point upside this year, scoring at least 57 fantasy points on six occasions. We believe one of those ceiling games is in play against this disastrous Detroit defense, with the Pistons ranked 29th in both defensive efficiency and points allowed. The minutes, usage, and shot attempts are all up with Bane out, making Ja one of the safest plays on the slate. Cameron Payne FD - $6800 DK - $6900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 34.38 DK - 35.54 Payne has been phenomenal when filling in for Chris Paul over the last two years. In 12 starts for CP3 last season, Payne provided a 34-point average across 30 minutes a night. He's made precisely 12 starts for Paul again this year, averaging 33 DK points per game across 32 minutes a night. It's obviously a trend at this point, and it's hard to understand why he's still below $7,000 on both sites. He's also coming off a season-high 49 DraftKings points in his most recent outing and has the best matchup in fantasy here. San Antonio sits dead last in points allowed and defensive efficiency. Tyrese Haliburton (FD $9400 DK $9100) is leading the NBA in assists and should go nuts against a defensively inept Portland backcourt. Shooting...
